One of the best Biryani and kebab places in Bhubaneswar. I have literally grown up having Biryani from this place. The aromatic rice just hits different.

As a biriyani guy i can confirm it has one of the best biriyanis in Bhubaneshwar.. Have tired almost each and every restaurant and outlet in bbsr but this biriyani is not comparable it has a taste on its own. The flavourful little sweeter side rice is the best.

Kolkatta biryani is a must-try. Amazing taste and quality. Love their chicken 65 and kebabs too. They do customisation for rolls which is super yummy. My go-to place for good food under a budget.

A must-try place....they serve the most flavorful Biriyani I have ever tried in my life....if authenticity has a face then Bj's Tandoor Delight will be my top priority❤️🤤

Loved this place a lot. The food over here is super delicious. Specially loved the handi biryani and fish finger. The fish finger is soft and crispy. The tandoor items are also really nice. Would visit this place again and again.The ambience can be better.This place is really cheap and pocket friendly. I recommend all to go this place and relish its yummy food.

Heard a lot about this place, so I went there and ordered chicken biryani for take away to see what's the fuss is all about. Oh well! Expect the average biriyani you'd get at any restaurant. But their kebabs are amazing. It's a really small place with seating arrangement in open, so takeaway is recommended to enjoy peacefully.

There is no ambiance if you want to eat at this place so take out is the better option. Had the chicken tikka and biriyani here. Both the food items were fine especially the biriyani. Worth a second visit atleast.

One of its kind in the city and this actually defines the meaning of tandoor . The biriyani , Malai kebab , hariyali kebab and the tandoori chicken is a must try at this joint. Trust me it may sound kiddish but the BIRIYANI KA RAITA is damn awesome .

vIsited this place last month ... its ok .. fish n mutton items not available.biriyani . other items its OK type nothing special. may be thats an one odd day or the regular chef on leave.

for all biryani lovers this place is a must visit.Although quite rustic in its feel this place more than makes up for it in taste and flavour.As a regular to this place i must say amazing biryani , tandoori and muglai rolls that you never can have enough.

Just adjacent to my home ! Its good for takeaway, no such place to sit , hardly one or two chairs somedays, I have tried their rumali chicken roll, chicken pieces were succulent and flavorful, however salt was less, I liked it however, chicken biriyani was decent tastewise, but was not hot, will try mutton biriyani next!

This place is famous for its biriyani.....I have been here at least 3-4 times and each it surprised me with its quality and taste.....<br/>It also serves rumali roll chicken which is quite unique....<br/>The price is not at all high....and also you will not regret spending your money here because it's worth it.......

You don't need 5-star ambience to prepare and serve great food. A hub for non-Veg eaters especially nothing much for veggies on the menu. In the decent price, you will get best quality biryani and kebabs in this locality.<br/>   Bon Appetite Chef BB

As the name suggests all the Tandoor items are a must at this place... It used to provide whole chicken roast.. But it is no more available

One of my favorite takeaway places for amazing chicken biriyani. Its reasonable and very delicious. Also try their chicken tikka kathi rolls. Less oily and tastes good. Hariyali kebabs are recommended too ! Go early on Fridays and Sundays as they finish soon !

Biryani again! Mutton or Chicken, it's always hot & fresh. The tandoori chicken and tandoori kebabs are always delicious. Choose a windy, cool evening and crash down to this open restaurant to fill yourself with all sorts of tandoori items.

Have had chicken biryani here - is almost always the oily variety - like if you make biryani and take the part from the bottom of the pot and serve. Or maybe they mix the rice and then serve .. The rice though, is cooked well and has a lot of the spice influence from whatever mix they add to the meat. Wouldn't recommend having the biryani there, cos of the weird ambience. I did, though - to great disappointment.<br/><br/>You can have the kababs there, as it is quicker to finish off those items. The malai kabab and chicken hariyali kabab are okay - nothing great, mind you. The malai kabab, especially doesn't feel like there's any malai on it - whatever they apply has usually dripped into their tandoor by the time it reaches your plate 😞😞 <br/><br/>Overall, this is an okay place to grab tandoori kababs - wouldn't look at it for anything else.

Undoubtedly one of the best tandoor places in the capital. I have been coming here for 4-5 years . The chicken roll is amazing. Its different from the usual egg chicken roll available to us everywhere. The covering is basically a rumali roti and the filling is small tit bits of chicken kebabs and caramelized onions. The kebabs and tandoori chicken are great. Biryani is equally tasty. A cheap quick bite place like this makes life so much easier for all the 'always hungry' stomachs like me :D. Have tried everything they have to offer.

The golden days were gone...they have compromised with their quality a bit but still their biriyani is far better than many (almost all) place. But tandoor items going down quality wise.also there r many other place who offer better kebabs. Ambience is nothing here...but yes biriyani in handi is something that still attracts many ppl.. need more improvement..

Was the first tandoor eat out in Bhubaneswar back in 2000s. It was doing great until today I realised the quality of food has deteriorated. I had malai kebab and haryali which looked like chunks of soya. The roll was nice,roomali roll types. Bapuji nagar joint is no more a great place to have tikkas. 2.5 points for the roll and biryani only but for cspur joint.

I have been eating chicken tandoor and biriyani from here since my chidhood as i remember. Earlier they used to give biriyanis in those 'handis' which is now a thing of past. The quality now and then... they have compromised a lil' bit. The service is good. But if u want to have a hefty meal, please do come.

A single sentence is enough to contemplate my review for this place. 'My Dad gets me biriyani from this place since 2010', and I still relish it with the same gusto. The famed "Handi-Biriyani" place. A 3.5 because I feel the standard of the Biriyani has decreased to a certain extent. All in all, the perfect diner.

Forget about the ambience its good for take away. But the food is heavenly try the biryani, romali rolls, the tikkas and the mutton keema. They also have a full fledged hotel near Patia.

UNDOUBTEDLY the best biriyani in the city. Previously they used mud handi's for parcels and i would suggest them to go back to that system for it gave a different taste and look. Everything on their menu is absolutely amazing. I have enquired and there is nothing diff between the two centres although the bapuji nagar centre is a bit messed up. Bj's has its own "fans" and m one such. :)

Chicken and mutton biriyani are good and bit sweet as we get at every good outlet in orissa. Egg chicken rolls are also tasty. And quantity is also okay. Ambience isn't good and should make some more place to sit and eat. Kindly improve on that basis.

Biryani served here are a class apart.Popular mainly because of its low price it is primarily a roadside eatery hut has good taste.U should also try out the keema and kebabs served.But no option of roti or man.

And there was this day when i really needed to eat mutton kheema and non of my local friends could suggest any place. After much inquiring i heard about BJ's and did hear some good reviews. My first visit to BJ's was with a dear friend on a clod evening and i was very hungry. I ordered rumali roti, a chiken kebab and mutton kheema. Maybe i was too hungry and craving for kheema - i did find Bj's impressive. My subsequent visits and Bj's consistency with taste made me take a lot of friends to Bj's. Its a value for money with small but good enough capacity and makes good food. SO if you are craving for rumali roit and kheema and some good kebabs you know where you will find them.

Clear 4 for me. Taking Biriyani from here for the last 3-4 years. Previously they were serving by Handi. Now by Polythene pack. <br/>Kebabs are good. Specially the special Kebabs.

Living nearby it used to be our favourite eating out joint. Almost every day we used to hit this place and eat the delectable rolls ,Chicken Tikka Masala and Roomali Roti. Freshly prepared roomali roti is so soft that you can barely have to chew.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Roomali roti on the outside and chicken tikka on the inside and the end result, " Yum Yum Yum ". I Love it. Ohh there are multiple options of tikka and kebabs to satiate your meat cravings.<br/><br/><br/><br/>In addition you can have their awesome biriyani served with raita.<br/><br/><br/><br/>All this at astonishingly low prices. Well !! it was low last year when I visited here.Can't say about prices now as i'm yet to visit Bhubaneswar this year.Well the rolls are such a delicacy that come what may, I'm still gonna go and have them.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Highly recommended as by far these are the "Best Roll's at Bhubaneswar ".
