The quality of food is great and it is super delicious .The cool, delightful atmosphere makes it even better. Service was also good. Overall, it is a good dining place ... Chicken tangdi biryani and Kolkata style are my personal favourites! ♥️🥰

Price: Rs 106 after discount Taste: The laccha paratha base was little raw, needed to be more flaky. Mutton keema fillings were flavorful with laccha onions, however I had requested to add bit green chutney and raw onions, they don't follow instructions. Super value for money but fillings could be more moist. Rating: 3.75 out of 5

Service was good but the biriyani tastes little bit off.

This is my go to place to have the biryani because it's reasonable and delicious. But apart from the biryani I absolutely love their gravy items (butter masalas especially), love to have paneer butter masala with lacha Paratha. You can definitely give this place a try.

This place has amazing non vegetarian options and the taste is heavenly. They got this amazing South Indian taste, and aroma in food , just thinking about it makes me eat even more. The quantity is also amazing 😍. The service there is quite costumer friendly. They even have a quick delivery time . The chicken biryani here is amazing. MUST TRY... ❤

The famous place for any kind of biryani in the town, definitely a must visit place. I had Chicken Tikka Biryani and it tasted wholesome considering the price and the taste that it provided. Now a thing which I personally didn’t like much was the amount of spices they had added, it tasted a bit chilly and without raita, it was quite different to even complete a regular one. This experience could be different for others since I don’t eat much of spicy food. But overall, the atmosphere, food and the vibes stood out. The waiters were quite friendly. Definitely, worth visiting again. 🤗

Good things first: Biriyani tastes amazing, and will motivate to come back again. Very fast service. Courteous Staff. 1 star less due to the Quantity they are providing in Regular. You might not always get seat on peak lunch time. Tip: Don't forget to go for add-ons like salan and raita while ordering the Biriyani as it is not included and once they feed in your order into system there would be no way you could add them again. I loved it!! I went there with my friend and we had the chicken 65 biriyani with Aloo chatpata with our favoured drinks. Such a wonderful meal. The taste was there for a long time.

I recently tried the Chicken Biryani Mini at Biriyanis Box, and it was a delightful experience! The flavors were absolutely amazing, and the portion size was perfect for a quick and satisfying meal. The rice was perfectly cooked, not too oily, and each grain was separate, making it a pleasure to eat. The quick service was a big plus, especially for someone like me who's always on the go.

Although the Mutton biryani did not stand up to it's reputation and would lack behind its competitors... The Chicken 65 Biryani was excellent the last time I has tasted such an excellent Chicken 65 biryani was in an authentic muslim wedding in Hyderabad... The chicken 65 pieces thought appeared dry and not very juicy had an excellent taste... the rice of both biryanis were perfectly cooked and stood up to the proverb "Biriyani ka chawal aaisa hona chahiye hi dheere se fek dene par baajre ki tarah bikhar jae or else its no longer biryani it becomes khichdi”

One of my favourite restaurant in BBSR. It is the only place in BBSR where one can get Kolkata style Dum Biryani. The Chicken tangdi kebab is too good. The Biryani along with Mutton korma is awesome.

Some experience are good and some are very bad. I brought a chicken biryani and chicken chaap, biryani quality was bad unlike other day I used to have it there. Both chicken biryani and chaap are overpriced.

Found this branch of Kolkata's famous Shiraz restaurant in Bhubaneswar. Went in for lunch with a bit of excitement as we were really craving some comfort food. It's located just off the main road opposite Honda showroom near nicco park square. It's a small restaurant with a live kitchen behind a glass wall. I was really surprised to see it packed on a weekday afternoon. After a short wait, we were seated. The decor isn't much to speak about as space is less. They serve two portions of Biryani with the half plate coming with 2 pieces of meat and the full one with 4 pieces of meat. We ordered mutton lucknawi Biryani and their standard mutton biryani, half portions of each. Their lucknawi biryani isn't even close to what it is supposed to be. People in Lucknow don't eat their biryani like this. It was full of masala, tomatoes &curry patta and it tasted more like a southern states' version of Biryani. Nowhere close to lucknawi biryani which is actually much milder in taste. Their standard mutton biryani was an exact replica of Kolkata's biryani so that was very satisfying. The mutton pieces were disappointing to say the least. They've started putting in 2 pieces according to the demands of local people but I would much rather have one large nice piece of mutton than 2 pieces of inedible fat and tendons. You get served a portion of ghol (spicy curd in liquid form with cut carrots in the bottom) with your portions.

For Rs 250 mutton biryani, they provide 2 mutton bone piece with 1 big potato and lots and lots of rice.. Feels like typical potato biryani with bland taste and no meat to eat with this huge quantity of rice...

I have been a frequent visitor of this place since 3/4 years. When it comes to non-vegetarian food, this is perhaps the best in town. They have two kind of biriyanis. The regular one is the Kolkata styled biriyani. Those who are used to Hyderabadi biriyani may find this one bland. The other one is the Lucknow Biriyani. It is spicy amd sprinked with pieces of green chilly. Both these varieties come in chicken and mutton variants. For lunch I usually order either of the two (regular/lucknow) depending on my mood on the day. For dinner, you must try Chicken Tandoor Butter Masala with Tandoori Rotis.<br/><br/>They have a great list of mutton dishes in there menu too but I haven't tried them since I don't like mutton much.

Earlier know for best briyani in town, but suddenly they lose that spot of being at the top. But now they have changed theirs flavour and briyani making to provide some authentic briyani taste to the locals of Bhubaneswar! But itz quite expensive but sometime it feel worthy enough!

This place is the only budget place which serves Biriyani liked by Bengalis, the Kolkata style.<br/>Amazing. It felt like home. I will recommend this place to all Bengali Biriyani lovers.

Today visited shiraz after a long time. Obviously expectations were high. Sorry to say.. I was disappointed. The Malai tikka we order was just wrapped in namesake Malai.. The chicken was overcooked. May be it was just unfortunate. Next, the manager suggested lucknowi biriyani.. It was nowhere near lucknow and I m repenting till now. The taste of biriyani was gone. Chicken in the biriyani was extremely overcooked and chewy. Never expected such type of quality from one of my favs. There is a tough competition now in the market.. Our brand name will not sustain much longer if we don't deliver. Plz improve. Moreover I m running out of places to go for a proper biriyani in bbsr. Moreover.. the rate at which you charge will get me a good biriyani in a star hotel. Next time I wish to have a sumptuous biriyani, guess wat I'll do.. I'll cook it myself. The Kolkata Mutton Biryani was really good. Paired with chicken chap, it imparts a delicious taste. The mutton was juicy and the rice was very well cooked with light spices. The chap was very spicy on the other hand, thick gravy and tender chicken. Overall a very good experience compared to the previous visit.

Starting from the food to ambience , everything is just perfect. The food is just out of the world. Being a biriyani lover i would rate it 10/10 . people over there are so polite even. so its a nice place to hangout with your family and friends.

I ordered 2 half plates of Chicken Biriyani thinking that Shiraz offered the best biriyani in the city.But to my disgrace it turned out to be the worst biriyani I ever had in my life.Even if the biriyani sold at footpaths is of better quality than this restaurant delivered today.The rice was disgusting.It hadn't a bit of fragrance that most biriyanis have.There was no masala at all.The chicken was the worst and there was a piece of potato in place of egg.Dahi raita smelt as if the dahi was rotten.The whole biriyani was tasteless and it seemed as if leftovers were delivered to me.It was a third class meal for such a high price of ₹215 per plate. My first and last order from Shiraz.Now I would personally advise all my friends against ordering from Shiraz for lifetime.

As per reviews and friends feedback, Brought 6 half plate Chicken Biryani parcel. After having it, I won't recommend it to anyone. As described by the waiter .. found not a single piece of egg in the parcel. No proper taste/ fragrance of Biriyani.. Curd in raita was worst.. cucumbers in it were rotten.. these all at double the price I get at Vizag for a Real Chicken Biriyani..

I thought their kebabs would be good. But sadly not so. The Chicken Seekh Kebab was pathetically hard. I guess the little that I know of Kebabs is that they should be as tender as possible. I Wish I could say that about these. The Chicken Makhani was just an average tomato paste curry. The Paneer Makhani was good. Actually disappointed with the Kebabs. Ain't going back I guess.

We visited this place before some days, they serve 5 types of biryani and the fish tikka kabab. The best part of those biryani were egg wrapped biryani it sounds little unique and also taste good. But i liked the mutton biryani somehow, but not to the expectation. It seems like normal biryani they serve. When it comes to the phirni which is very famous in Kolkata itself, that taste awesome, less sweet and well prepared. Try their Lakhnow biryani. Come to Interior,this is not so big place, but yes it is a family restaurant so you can have good food here.

Taste of Biryani was good but quantity wise too less as compared to price. Also I ordered Tangri kababs. The Kababs I received through Zomato were not of the same quality which you get if you are dining in the restaurant. Overall an average experiance. I would give a 3/5.

Around 30 food bloggers were invited by SHIRAJ, the famous biryani restaurant, on Sunday dinner for a biryani tasting session.<br/><br/>There were around 6 different biryanis on the menu, and I went with the three classics Chicken, Mutton and Veg Pulao. The CHICKEN BIRYANI & MUTTON BIRYANI (₹215 & ₹260) were similar in taste, the biryani was fragrant due to the use of kewda essence but in a good inviting/appetizing way. The rice was were soft and fluffy and were of good long grain quality. Overall the biryani was mildly spiced and remained true to its Kolkata origin which had both eggs and potatoes. Finally and most importantly the meat, where I was suprised that the chicken was perfectly cooked, was moist and adequately spiced, generally in chicken biryani the chicken mostly served is dry. Mutton was a bit of the downer, as the meat wasn't falling off the bone and was bit stiff. The VEG PULAO (₹175) had a lots of fried vegetables replacing the meat and the use of spices were also lesser than a biryani.<br/><br/>Overall if you like your Biryani cooked in the Kolkata style, I don't see any other better place in the city. Really outstanding... i ordered Lucknow style special chicken biriyani through Zomato when I was there...... The biriyani was just lajawab .... like Mashallah !!!!  😡 Good cooked  rice fried with some tomato n green chillies n added 2 pieces of well boiled Chicken... which costs 260 . Food is really good. Ambience and service is decent. Their biryani is really good and so is also mutton rogan josh if it’s available. One of the things I loved they used to do home delivery even to khandagiri.

This is my go to place for biryani,the chicken Lucknow biryani is the one of the spiciest biryani they make completely awesome and along with that mutton keema is a great combination.Bit old fashioned and they serve in plastic plates else it’s a great place for biryani lovers.

Well i ordered a chicken biryani yesterday. The quantity was good but the quality was not upto the mark. I was dissatisfied because i had biryani with awesome taste at Shiraz before. So i guess i will get that taste once again.

Very bad food quality and quantity. Dal makhni was bad, chatpata paneer was worst. Keema naan was very dry and tasteless. In short nothing in everything was good. O feel like cheated. Dont order food from here.
