Review Boccas Cafe - Bhubaneswar

Have been a regular at this branch of Bocca since it’s opening and I have to say how impressed I am with their maintenance of food quality and service. They also host artists regularly- the latest being a clay artist with beautiful earrings on display. Driven to write this review today as during my latest experience I saw Management (Mr.Shoaib and Mr.Swagat) deal with a very unruly couple who were being rude and obnoxious towards the staff with utmost patience and respect - definitely deserving of a stellar review . Would recommend Bocca’s food and service to anyone looking for a cozy quiet ambience and attentive service. Ms. Little was very helpful in my latest visit and was very patient as well.

If you're a Cheesecake lover then you need to visit this place !!! They serve some of the best cheesecakes in the town !!! We ordered coffee cheese cake and oh my god it tasted delicious. The strong coffee taste defined it !! Unlike few other cheesecakes it wasn't overly sweet it's a must try when you visit here. Plus it's a great environment where you can just sit chill and work or spend some alone time with yourself or with your friends. It's bit pricy but again it's on the perspective of the people.

Such a great place to hangout with friends, maybe go for a date or just enjoy your own company in peace. The atmosphere is very calm, situated near Lalchnd Jewellers, this place gives you a very calm and peaceful vibes. The cafe has a small book shelf with different books, a small place with frames and arts made by hand of different shows like Friends. The cuisine is Italian with a lot of options in Pizza and Pastas. The mocktail and desserts were good, the blueberry cheesecake melted in the mouth with a crunchy bottom crust and a sour blueberry taste. The Pasta was great, the ingredients were fresh. Overall, a 9/10. Superb!!

Pasta was good. The coffee cheesecake was also good. Sitting was comfortable.but less area is available.Specified area for working is available. Restrooms aren't well maintained. They're unclean, stinky and very small. Parking is infront of it in the street. Ambience is good.

The food is on the pricier side. I tried the Chicken Stroganoff along with the Italian pizza. I wouldn't recommend the pizza at that price. Definitely had better. But the Stroganoff was good.

Good place to dine in. The food is awesome 😎💯 and the ambience is very good. While it seems to be a little bit more costly than other cafes in bhubaneswar. I visited the one near the master canteen. Highly Recommended🎉

I just had to share how amazing this cafe is! The moment I walked in, I felt so comfortable and relaxed. The cafe has a really nice vibe and a lovely interior. It's a fantastic place to relax, catch up with friends, or even get some work done. The menu has a wide variety of delicious food and drinks that are prepared with love. I highly recommend it. if you're looking for a special place to enjoy good food and a great ambiance.

The place was sparsely crowded. The atmosphere was fab and i loved the book collection. Ordered Basil Peso, Hummus, falafal & pita bread platter and Mango cheese cake. Cold late and chocolate too. Overall great. Peso lacked flavour but the staff readily took it up and served us again. Recommending the cheese cake and the platter

Great place to hangout with friends. The staff were very polite and sweet as well. I ordered mocha and a latte which tasted great. The blueberry cheesecake deserves a big thumbs up for sure. Overall the place had a very positive vibe.

If you want to experience an ambient cafe, welcoming interior and tasty food then bocca cafe can be a perfect choice. Although the price is little bit higher side, the quality is superb. Cheese cake is so soft and tasty, other than that I tried one chocolate shake which is pretty average.

A must visit cafe in Bhubaneswar. I’m the biggest fan of this place. Really very simple and cosy place. This place never disappoints. Their pizza’s are my all time favourite.

If you are searching for a Cafe with a calm ambience and simple decor, then this place is the end to your search. Been here a few days back and I have become a fan of their ambience and food. I had Cheese Garlic Bread and Coffee Cheesecake. As an appetizer, the Garlic bread was good. The toppings and the cheesiness was found prominently.A recommended one with some coffee or tea. And now the cheesecake has all my heart. Their star dish when it comes to dessert. Recommended dishes when you visit this cafe✨

A nice cafe for a quick bite, with good food options. Yes a little bland for my liking, but most people like it bland, I guess. Staff is friendly and prompt in serving the customers. The place needs a little makeover I guess, but nevertheless it is good.

This is a very nice cafe to have delicious food and of course, drinks too. We had several dishes. From sandwich to desert, Most we liked are Mango smoothies which is recommended. The ambiance good which gives us retro vibes. Overall it’s a great place for chill out.

Great Place with a Comfortable Ambiance and a great menu. I had a great experience and I loved especially loved the Coffee Cheesecake

I had written this place off after two not-so-pleasant dinner experiences when I had opted for their savoury dishes - chicken Caesar salad, chicken cotoletta, chicken quiche, sandwich -- the dishes were all dry and bland with the chicken feeling all hard and chewy. <br/>However, earlier this year I happened to try their chocolate tea cake and blueberry cheesecake and they were so so yummy - baked perfectly to a fault!<br/>These are the only things I order from here now. I am not a huge fan of their ambience so I don't put the effort to visit ever. <br/>(I have been told their savoury dishes have improved so you could give it a try at your own risk!)

One of the most famous cafes in Bbsr, this place had been in my bookmarks since long for review... Although I have had the chance to try it's food earlier through delivery, this was the first time I dined there... This is a small cafe located on top of Lalchand... The place might not look big from the outside but it's really big once you enter... Love the interiors and decor... Paintings, Booksheves and modern lighting add to the beauty of this place... The service is very very slow and the staff is courteous but uninformed about various items which is really sad...<br/><br/>Coming to the food, I had ordered ginger lemonade, Sausage and Stuffed Chicken in Brown Sauce... The place was near to empty when I reached and placed my order... But my first order came after 20mins which was ginger lemonade... Ginger Lemonade was really refreshing and the combination of ginger with lemon was refreshing in the heat of bbsr... Simply loved it... Next to arrive was sauteed sausage which arrived 30mins post my order... It was one of the worst sausages I have had in my life... The sausage wasn't cooked properly and the spices were not complementing the sausage... This was really disappointing... The last one to arrive was stuffed chicken in brown sauce... I was told that the stuffing consisted of minced chicken with cheese... When I started cutting the chicken slices, it had no cheese and it was completely dry... The sauce had not penetrated the chicken which made it completely dry and hard... The accompanying sauce was really good... The presence of pepper added a kick to the sauce which enhanced the lackluster chicken... Garlic bread was also nice and properly done... <br/><br/>I am rating it 3/5 simply because of the good experiences I have had earlier... Would definitely give it another try to see if the rating can be improved...

Superb ambience and high quality food / drinks but really pricey.

Ordered chicken grilled sandwich and Nutella waffle. both the dishes were tasty 😋. Staffs are very polite and courteous. Nutella waffle is a must try recipe. It is very near to the Bhubaneshwar railway station so one can opt this very easily. ✌️✌️

Very rude and cold behaviour of the staff. We were asked to order all the food at once(including dessert) since it was near to their closing time , to which we readily agreed and placed the order,but we did not know they'd serve the dessert with the main course itself right at the beginning. When we refused to accept it they just kept it in the fridge and brought it later due to which the browine got completely hard.<br/>Also very poor service, they had just one waitress to serve the whole cafe .

Tried this place. Ordered some waffles and blueberry cheese cake. Waffles were good even the cheese cake. But the blue berry sauce was too sweet that overpowered the taste of cheese cake.<br/>Food is good but service is poor.

It's my go to place in the town ,I love the ambience over there if you're in Bhubaneswar then straight head into this place for a lovely experience .

A little bit overpriced I'd say. But taking into account the locality and the scarcity of cafes in Bhubaneswar, I'd give it a five star. The mac and cheese was good but almost without salt. The Darjeeling tea was just a teabag like CCD but tasty (infact very much tastier than CCD teabags) and extremely comforting. Quantity of the hot water (and the huge cup) was ample for a tea-lover. The cappuccino was good. The staff, the ambience all were good. Card payments are accepted also. Good place to hangout in Bhubaneswar.

One of my personal favourite place. The interior, the environment, the food, the books everything is just wow. I love the cheesecake here and the white Alfredo pasta.

It's a nice cafe. Sandwiches are filling and spaghetti pasta is my fav.

We ordered waffles. They told us it will take 15-20 mins, but we waited for 45 mins and it still dint come. So we left the place. Please be careful while ordering any dish and have ample amount of time before going to this cafe

If you're looking for a soothing yet funky place, try Bocca. The ambience and concept behind the cafe was refreshing and lively! Everything I had there was mind-blowing! The carrot cake is a must for all (P.S. ask for whipped cream, and the deal is set).

The cafe had a vintage charm attached to it displayed by the chairs and the service desk area in use. The service was prompt and good. The food felt better than the Patia branch. I liked Hummus with Pita bread dish even though it was a bit plain but the flavour was good. We ordered veg Quesadilla and the filling in the tortilla was really good. The blueberry cheesecake was superb! Overall it is a great hanging out place for a peaceful outing.<br/>Though the hygiene could be improved.

Probably one of the best cafes in Bhubaneswar. Easily located on first floor of a building.<br/><br/>The place is huge, lot of seating. Staff is quiet helpful.<br/><br/>They have very good menu, loads of options.<br/><br/>We tried pasta, cold coffee and waffle. Everything was well cooked and tasted really nice. I have noticed that this branch has started slacking in terms of food and responsive staff. I ordered a sticky BBQ cottage cheese yesterday and after 30 mins when I enquired about the order the server was clueless and then States it will take some time! I was finally given my order after 45 mins and it wasn't great at all! A complete waste of my time and energy not expected from bocca at least.

Yeah the service is quick,ambience is good and rates are reasonable. I tried mac n cheese sphagetti and pizza which was really good 😍.

I was craving for some decent pasta and that's when I decided to try out this place.<br/><br/>To start with, it's just one of those fancy looking cafes that disappoint.<br/><br/>Firstly, Once my family and I got seated, the server nor greeted neither smiled. Felt really unwelcoming considering my experiences yet at other places in the city. Then after few minutes when I was looking around to catch someone's attention as I can't order without having a look on the menu first, that's when a server noticed and got us the menu. And the server has no exact idea of how to sell off their menu or provide a suggestion to their customer. I felt a of important things are being neglected<br/><br/>I got the white sauce chicken pasta with a watermelon juice. My brother got a chicken sausage pasta with a nutella shake. My dad got a cappuccino and my mom got a glass of pineapple juice.<br/><br/>The food takes time to arrive, I understand. But a cup of coffee doesn't and that came the last. The juices lacked consistency and were more like water than fresh juice tbh.<br/><br/>My brother didnt enjoy his pasta at all. Though he liked his milkshake. My pasta was a disappointment as well. The pasta sauce wasn't as thick as an alfredo pasta should be. Lacked salt and made it bland. The chicken was unevenly cooked.<br/><br/>My worst experience in the city yet.

Perfect ambience for bookworms and fellow instagrammers. This place is like minimalism at its best. Superb Ambience with a good music collection and cozy seatings.<br/>The breakfast combos they provide are like a complete diet for nutrition freaks with being too heavy on your pocket.<br/>They have litrally everything on their menu, From waffles to fruit juices. Waffles are good topped with cream and fruits. Salad is okayish and drinks will not make you regret about choosing this place for breakfast over any other place.

This is my favorite cafe in Bhubaneswar. Everything starting from the decor, to the food quality is amazing. Do try their pasta with pesto sauce. It’s delicious!

Order some chicken sausage crostini. Bread was crispy. Cheese was just the right amount. Just a hint more of dressings would have made it more tastier. It was somewhat bland. Will visit and try some other items too

Ambience. Well I can't find a more modern and classy atmosphere anywhere in bbsr. So full marks for that.<br/>The star I deducted was for the honey ginger lemon tea. Didn't find it that exhilarating. It was good I guess. I kind of compared it with the one I had in pangong.

You may assume furious about this place while entering. But after reaching inside you will fall in love with the ambience, quality of food, warmth in service. Me and my two friends went there to spend some time with coffee and light snacks. It was a recommendation from an another friend. Visited this place based on ratings as I'm new to the city. Had a terrible time as the service was pathetic. Took more than 45 minutes to get my order of 'ONE' pasta. Repeated reminders to the staff yielded no response and the manager kept assuring me that the dish was just about done for twenty minutes. If you value your time please stay away from this place. The food isn't worth the wait.

I like most things about this place, including food. Except ... Yes, unfortunately I have to use that word ! When I asked for the password to the WiFi with SSID - Bocca Cafe, I was told "sir mana kar rahe hain". I can understand that perhaps they don't want to make the WiFi available to the customers (I shouldn't , but I do !). But as a consumer with a global outlook, when I visit a decent coffee shop and see that there is a WiFi connection with the name of the coffee shop available, I would expect to get access to it. It's unfortunate I had to experience this, because I thought this was one place in Bhubaneswar which would become my go-to place, akin to places I'd find back home in Mumbai.

Absolutely loved the ambience here.<br/>Recommended dishes: Chicken Ceaser salad (grilled chicken, lettuce and croutons with caeser dressing) and Chicken combo (grilled chicken in brown sauce, spaghetti aglio e olio and grilled veggies). The blue Berry cheesecake was actually the Berry on the cake. Would love to visit again.<br/>Service :Great

The desserts are really tasty. We ordered blueberry cheesecake and pancakes with chocolate sauce. They were so soft! The chicken coq au vin was good as well.<br/><br/>A note for vegetarians, there aren't many options here for you. I wish that the cafe would add more veg options, so that they too can enjoy the great food.

One of my favourite cafés in the city. I have had Pizza, pasta and cheese cakes from this place. Never visited in person but their delivery is sure satisfactory.<br/><br/>Pizzas from this place is really good. I am looking forward to my next order from this place.

The ambience is very lively and aesthetic. The fresh fruit waffle here is a sweet to the soul, absolutely delicious. You can hog on pizzas and sandwiches as well, you can read a book, bring a date or sip coffee alone.

First and probably last visit to this place. Place seemed untidy, furniture, especially couches looked like worn out. No one bothers to clean. Tried, plate meal, it seems too expensive for the quantity. They are totally cheating. 1 plate meal quality is not ideal for a single person. Ordered Bocca pizza, but even after 1 hour they did not deliver, and we went out without having that. Everytime on asking, they told it's coming in 2 minutes. Awful place, will not recommend.

This is a regular go-to place all the time. Prices are from medium-high along with great service and versatile menu. They do a lot of justice to the menu. Coffee cheesecake might be a disappointment due to its mousse like consistency but mango, lemon and blueberry cheesecake are must try. English breakfast is well served here. Ambience is class apart. You want to read somewhere or work here peacefully then it is the place for you. One of the best in the city for its consistency in food quality and service.

Wonderful experience at Bocca Café...my husband and I are very new to the city and we are originallly from Kolkata, a place literally swarming with excellent cafés nowadays...but I was pleasantly surprised with Bocca the very first time we visited. The ambience is very classy and the behaviour of the staff, extremely polite and courteous. Coming to the food, the quality of the dishes served there can any day give any good Kolkata or Bangalore cafés a run for their money. Good presentation, tasty food and ample quantity at a very reasonable price. Loved visiting this place. I have already visited the place twice in a month and plan to keep going there in the future as well.

To begin, the ambience is wonderful. Super cozy and simple. The food is very well cooked. I had grilled fish meal plate. It's packed with flavors and is light of the stomach. The staff is really friendly as well.

A lovely place with a very decent ambience. Many events are conducted here time to time like stand-up comedies or poetry club. Coming to food, the Italian cuisine is really good and their American breakfast is one of the best in town. This place is a must try.

A huge disappointment I received here! I had ordered Egg Chicken Salad Sandwich and Grilled Cottage chesse sandwich which came nearly after 45mins!<br/>But ofcourse the food was amazing! I wanted something healthy yet tasty and the food was all about that! Would surely go back for it's food

A very different and great addition to the Bhubaneswar food experience. Its a beautiful spacious cafe located in Master Canteen. We went there for breakfast. We ordered the American Breakfast (4/5), French Breakfast (4/5), Spaghetti and Meatballs (5/5) and Healthy Breakfast (5/5).<br/>But the beauty of the place is the environment that has been put together which includes music, a co-working space and nice seating arrangements. All of this gives a real nice cafe feel, which is amazing to have in Bhubaneswar. Do give them a try.
