Nice hotel. It's actually a South Indian hotel as the name suggests. Really tasty food . Food quality is good. Service is great and hygienic. The Thali looks very pretty and full . You can order everything more than once.😋😋

The food was okayish. We ordered podi idly , uttapam and filter coffee. The cutneys and sambar was tasty and nice. The uttapam was missing salt but was pipping hot and taste was good. Didnt like the podi idly though it wasnt bad. The podi was just bland. The filter coffee was just plain coffee not the actual filter kapi.

Best breakfast place in Patia! The Idli and Dosa are delicious ... Podi Idli and Karivepakku Podi Idli were unique, masaledaar, soft and adorably tiny. The Rava Masala Dosa was crispy with great masala. The chutneys served with them were my favourite though. Green and Yellow both! Service was excellent and fast. Ambience was cool with southie accents. Great for a dine out with friends and family. Location is pretty accessible. Prices are reasonable too. It's a must try!

In the search of finding a good dosa in patia we ended up finding this . Authentic & delicious dosas with too many varieties. check it out once

If you're a dosa lover then go for this restaurant... I had ordered family dosa and taste wise it's awesome... It's too big... Mostly 3people need to finish this😂... Place is good...thank you for this family dosa.
Baby Attraction
Good time wid family. Price is lil bit high but all the food taste are awesome.
Asutosh Maharana
Please note this is a veg only restaurant. Food is on the pricier side and they also have gst 😋. Taste wise it is good and the serving time is fast.
Ganesh Chhapolia
An authentic experience. I am a regular visitor to the place because it never dissapoints. I mostly order Dosa (Mysore butter masala dosa and Rava dosa are favourites), Gobi fry is decent except that sometimes it's not crisp. Absolutely love the filter coffee and Rawa Kesari. recommend Thali during the lunch hours.
Mohan Krishna Botu
Well maintained and food was better than expected. Might call it a bit expensive for tiffins.

Coming in to the most important fact- the food - It's good but not as per it's price , different types of dosa are available but would have liked to see more of other items too . It's hygenic ( from what I could see) , and the cost is a little in the higher side.Tge place and it's crew are also polite but lack a little enthusiasm from what I felt but that might be a bad day for that waiter 😉 I would say 400/- for two at least.

Typical south Indian food, very neat & clean, ambience & service are also very good. But food taste is ok type & price is on higher side

This is a much hyped south Indian food joint which cannot even cook a simple masala dosa properly. I have always been disappointed by this place and this is the last place on my list to have south Indian food in Bhubaneswar. There are much better places available with a much better price and taste. Avoiding this place is the best thing to do.

Sevice can be improved, food was good according to me but certain members of my family were not that impressed,w e had certain issues over the bill and conveyed the same to the management team and within 15-20minutes they solved it so overall my experience was good. Special thalis was yum as well and I tried drumsticks soup for the first time here.

This place has exceeded my expectations.
From the pictures I've seen here, I was excited to visit the place..
The ambience around is vibrant and rich.
Waiters were really kind in recommending the dishes.
We were offered a papad with salsa as a timepass snack.
Following that, our orders were served i.e Adai with Aviyal and Today's Special Dosa.
The portion and the size were much better than I expected.
Adai with Aviyal is dense, tasty and healthy.
Special Dosa included potatoes, paneer, veggies and cheese. This is something not everyone may like and if you find it desirable, ask the waiter in advance before ordering.
We then had filter coffee and fried ice cream, both of which were outstanding.
Fried ice cream is probably one of the best I've had till date. Just the right sauce, the butterscotch ice cream, the fried coating that's not too thick. An excellent dessert that's highly recommended.
Overall, this easily tops the list in South Indian Restaurant category and I'd happily recommend it.

We ordered an onion masala dosa and a plain rava dosa and coffee. The service was slow and it seemed that by the time the food arrived it was not too hot and not crispy either. Coming to the taste, the food tasted good and the variety of chutney’s they offered was appreciable. The coffee in particular tasted really nice.
Jyotika Suman
The restaurant is very good place for South Indian dishes!
Paneer butter masala dosa is what I liked the most.
The service is very prompt by mr. Madhav Reddy.
Sneha
Good ambience and service. Food is great. Dahi vada is worth a try. Food-4/5. Price 3.7/5. Service-5/5.
Dosa is available in large variety. Like Puri sabji too.
Great place for breakfast but little pricey.

The staffs are not professional even a roadside thelawala gives a better service

My favourite south Indian food venue! The masala rawa dosa, the masala dosa, idli and everything was so good and delicious. But the price is a bit too much. But will visit again and again!

Once I ordered special veg Hyderabad biriyani from this resturant at price 154 after offer.. The taste was not upto mark .There was no vegetable found in the biriyani, it only consisted of rice. I was shocked to find this after Paying 154, because at this price at Bhubaneswar, veg biriyani with far better qualities are available. It was very irritating and was a bad experience.

What we had ordered:
1.BUTTER MYSORE MASALA DOSA- 125/-
2.TAWA SPICY IDLI -75/- Both DOSA AND IDLY was very mediocre in taste. Though nothing tasted bad but there are better places around. Ambience and service was good but the food was nothing fancy.

Follow us on instagram @that_foodiecouple

Clean delicious food! Comforting ambience.

But very slow service. Staff needs better training.
Plus, why play mediocre 90's Bollywood songs when there is no dearth of soul soothing Carnatic instrumental music!
Mrutyunjaya Panda
Great variety of Veg foods available. Ambience is also great. Food mostly posses a southern taste to it. Great options btw. Bit expensive but cool with the diversity.
Ayontika Ghosh
Very intricate, contemporary, authentic south Indian restaurant in Bhubaneswar. It really looks expensive but it isn't. The staffs are very professional and courteous. Food was delicious.
Bikash(@bhookad_buzz)

Have been to this place a few times for work lunch.
Food is delicious, served with authentic southern flavours. Ambience is good.
However, need to mention that table booking is a must due to the crowd and service does need to speed up.
Overall good
Shajahan Shaik
Today I have ordered lemon rice and they sent burnt rice. Worst food I have ever seen in my life. Completely burnt rice and without lemon. Very worst. I won't recommend.
Hrithik Raj
I ordered strawberry ice cream and masala dosa, first of all I ate ice cream because i love icecream so much it was tasty and much sweet but the quantity was little less at price of 79 now the turn of dosa comes I like the size of it but trust me it's name was masala dosa but I haven't realize where was masala in dosa's aalu and sambhar was ok to eat with that dish
Debasis Satapathy
Idly doesnt seem like from go south. Chutney horrible. Sambar even worse. What happened to u Go South? Please look at the quality. Dont loose ur reputation
Sandip Moharana
Very bad taste of food. Also price is very in comparison to food quality. I have ordered and found the items showing in the list are not delivered and also one item was given twice.
Trideep Barik
Cosy place. Service was good. I tried the family dosa(enough for three person) which is 2.5 ft long. The taste of samber, chutney and masala was really good.
Swadesh Kumar Behera
Got home delivery from this amazing place which serves authentic south indian food. Each dish on the menu is so carefully crafted. I ordered south indian special thali which came with in 20 mins in a neat packaging . So, for hygiene its a big yes. And the aroma was so fragrant. And almost 10 or 11 items were there in the thali. And each item has been prepared with some thought. The food was so filling but so light on the stomach. Would like to visit soon.
Mayur Sinha & Paridhi Jha
The South Indian food is good but, This place is known for its Taste's and crispy dosa. The staf is also good. They also prepare food in front of you in the evening which is good to watch
Bishal Banerjee
If you are in Bhubaneswar and you are a South Indian , obviously this is the place for you. Apart from that for authentic and delicious and variety South Indian dishes this is a one stop place. The best part is the hygiene of the place . I felt the hygiene is a stand out both at the eating and the cooking area.
Bi_bi_foods
One of my favourite restaurants which i come Regularly to have authentic south indian thali which is great for this price and the dosa here is very much unique and very tasty.

Service is an attitude.. And the lack of it was clearly visible in my visit today at the restaurant for dinner.. It was 9.30 pm and only 2 covers so the staff seemed relaxed or rather casual in their service approach.. And then the instances of Murphy's law started trickling..
- Firstly we were welcomed by warmth of mosquitoes so seemed attracted to my legs underneath the tabletop. On letting a staff know about this, she was blank and helpless.. Pity her

- Then came the food order part.. The server lady was polite and said Idiyappam and Appam isn't available today, my preference for dinner, kyunki Dosa to kahin bhi milta hai, so why go to Go South(though the menu mentions that they are available - after 7p.m... Finally I went with my tried and tested Rava masala dosa for wife and me and cheese dosa for kids.

- After some 10 mins the gastronomic artefacts were served.. Oh hold on.. How do I have the sambar and chutney? .. Dip the Dosa in it? Or sip it directly from the bowl, because there is no cutlery on tge table.. And in the whole sequence of events the server also managed to keep the glasses empty.. Only to be filled with water after insistence..

- Then the first bite goes to the mouth with the intent to neutralise the hunger, the tongue says isn't the dosa supposed to be a little warmer.. Because the served one was just a tad above what we usually call as cold..

- By the time we finished it was around 10.30pm and almost sweating (it was a hot day here today.. 40 degrees cel) as the air conditioning was switched off and everyone there was just thinking when we would leave maybe..

Overall a terrible experience that one can have when he goes to a place with family to have a good evening with food.. Go South team you are experience makers.. Good or Bad is how you stitch it.. Only thing that keeps a restaurant going strong day over day is not the food ( because you are not changing the menu or bringing newness and creating wow factor with food), not in ambience because the customers get used to it.. It's always how in each transaction, the team comes across to create a good memorable experience.. Every single time.. Thats when people share their stories with others..

Am I going to recommend you to other.. Well with the experience I had today, most certainly not..
Pulak Priyadarshi
As a person who loves south Indian food, this place was a bit disappointing when it comes to South Indian thali. The taste was ok ok, nothing to boast about. The saving grace is the service which is quite good. The paneer masala dosa served here is quite delicious and a must try. Its definitely a dish which tickles your taste buds. Hope they improve the dishes served with the thali
Bharadwaj Mishra
This place serve south indian dishes and they are tasty also the good thing is they have less spicy and I like their ambience also it's so decorative and it's feel good also
Sam EeR
Below standard items, highly over priced. Ordered Rava Dosa, it was saltless, kuzhi paniyaram, it was also saltless. Paper dosa and masala dosa were decent, nothing great. Decent service, but we have much better restaurant serving south indian food at half the price m would never go again. Highly over rated, just by name, nothing else.
Anish Das Talukdar
Really great place to have your breakfast, try the idli and chilly cheesy dosa also the schezwan dosa was great ,budget friendly and also a great staff, prices are good as per the ambience and food.
Gayatri Das
One and only restaurant I found that genuinely serve south Indian food...
Love to visit number of times to dis food palace...in love with its delicious food...
Shubham Choudhary
Ordered special thali and that was awesome. You can't finish one thalo alone. The food was good. Rice was good. Overall value for money food.
Rishika Arya
Amazing food!
Homely ambience!
Great start to a morning!
Happy happy happy!
Had mini idli and filter coffee
Loved it
Would love to go again, again and again
:)

Have eaten. South food is best available here. Love the dosas you guys make. Have eaten here on multiple occasions. Would love to eat again.
Kuntal Roy
I was astonished to get angry, wierd and worst customer experience from restaurant manager on complaining the rava dosa was burnt.
Otherwise the good was great on the behavior was pathetic.
Anupam Panigrahi
Variety of dosas available here... Dosa is delicious here... But puri and sabji is not good as puri served to me were full of oil.. And Falooda served here is 6/10
Pritam Pradhan
They are good with their menu and good with their servings. You will south indian ambiance and tasty food.
Go for the normal thali here if you want to belly up.
Falooda and jigarthanda are things to enjoy.
Best is the many authentic south indian items in menu.
Prithviraj Priyadarshi
Delicious food, the chutneys are brilliant. Pricing a bit on the higher side. Environment is great, try their idlis...they are not going to disappoint.
Sandhya
Nice and tasty but needs improvement.. I haven't seen in BBSR any other restaurant for the Dish like dosha like south indian style....keep the Quality and taste same forever
Namrata Tali
One of the best places for authentic south Indian dishes.
Do try the special Go South thali. It's worth the money spent.
Go for it!! You will love it
Rabab Unjhawala
The dosas we ordered were not crisp. On that, the stuffing was bland and tasteless. Too overpriced for the quality that was delivered. Slow service and total waste of time!
Chetan Mishra
a sambhar plate is 120. will consider that a bit overpriced. but taste is the finest ever.
Hruday Kumar
The best place to have dosas. Even if you find the prices high, the taste will be worth every penny. Also, don't forget to try filter coffee.
Dristy Singh
banglore feel in bhubaneshwar....Yummy south indian dishes......loved it.....filter coffee took me to karnatka for a while...thanks to go south team.
Abhik Biswas
Possibly the best place in Bhubaneswar to try some good (and authentic) South Indian food. The prices are reasonable, and the food is tasty. A perfect place for a good morning breakfast, or a light supper.

The only thing that this place needs to improve is on its services. A simple dosa takes around 35-45 minutes to arrive. The services are extremely lethargic at times.
Annas Ahemad
It is a good south Indian restaurant ambience is superb and also it's quite precious it's situated on the dlf cybercity road, they have vast recipes of dosa I ordered Andhra dosa and cheese garlic dosa which was too hot that even 2 person cannot complete it, I bet it would be fun to try.
Abhishek Ranjan
Nice ambience good and authentic South Indian dishes served here prices are reasonable must visit for person who love South Indian dishes or veggie
Floyd Pinto
Good ambience & nice spread of South Indian dishes

But the service was very lethargic

Food prep was very ordinary & longer than expected service time

Expected more out of a typical south Indian place but was let down by my first experience

The Andhra Dosa though was fiery as hell & the poodi Dosa was bland
Rituparna Mahapatra
This is a horrible place. The chutneys are bland too. The uttapams were undercooked. The dosas are thick and cold. The starters were not good either. They were stale. We had to ask them to cancel the order as it was inedible.
Sucheta
They have a good selection of South Indian food but are not consistent... Sometimes the rava dosa tastes fine and some time it is too hard and can't be called a rava dosa...
One thing that I love at this place is it's Falooda...But it tends to be too sweet for me.It will be great if they can have a mini Falooda in their menu
Ruchika Sahu
Loved the ambience and the painting showing the south indian culture. The cheese chilly Dosa and the Schezwan Dosa we ordered was pretty good.
Mahithabonala
Food was very tasty. Service was also very good and very cooperative!!! I have seen the atmosphere of South Indian food!!! Hope the same continues 😊
Kanhu Charan
Nice and friendly staff.. Quick service.. Amazing food... If you love South Indian cuisine then this is the place to visit.. The dosas and thali are superb😍
Tapaswini Rath
I wait 40min for dosa. They just forgot my order. I am really disappointed . Staff don’t know how to behave . Waste of money . Taste is like vomit , you can think to eat food from street but not this place . The take for granted their customers .
Foodiebynature
A simple veg restaurant with some special food....
Well its name only suggests that it is a south Indian restaurant....
Here one can find varieties of dosas and other south Indian delicacies....
I tried their most recommended special thali which included at least 14 kind of items.....the items are rice, puris, dal, curries, curd, chutneys and a sweet dishes....the quantity of the whole thali is more than enough...
The taste was good...it was neither too spicy nor heavy....it was completely balanced....
We also tried falooda....falooda with combination of three different ice creams (vanilla, butterscotch and strawberry) with fruits like pineapples, apples and pomegranate was the perfect desert....
Overall this is a very nice place with some awesome food and service....
Next time I am gonna try their dosas...
Toshali Mohanty
I had ordered a tamarind rice. Everything was fine until I found a mosquito in it while having the dish and that really disappointed me. I have a photo of it also.
It's a request to please be careful because such mistakes can't be taken for the amount we pay.
Biswajit Satpathy
Food is great especially the south indian dish varieties they have is pretty good. I ordered mysore onion butter masala dosa. It was very good and it too had a 4 types of chutney which i liked very much.
Santosh
Today's Hyderabadi veg biriyani was not good. Quantity is very less as compare to what they serve in the restaurant. Chef has forgot to add salt in the biriyani. Is there any difference between Zomato order & normal order..?
Matrudatta Barik
Not even eligible for comparison to road side dosa.
Priyanka Paikray
Today evening i went this place with one of my friend. We ordered idili and vada combo with one large rava onion dosa. Both are superb with authentic South Indian taste. Love those side chutney and sambar also (i loved sambar more❤️). After those yummy food we also ordered filtered coffee and you can go this place blindly for filter coffee. One of the best south Indian restaurant in bbsr. Would love to go again.
Pulak Mishra
Certainly a place worth a visit for south-indian cuisine lovers..it would not be an exaggeration to tout it as one of the south-indian places in Bhubaneswar..service is quick and there is enough seating space for a lot of people..a must try for dosa lovers!!
Sonali
It was not that good , taste was also not that good , interior is good music was also decent , but go south should improve work on taste , but I have not tasted anything else only rava butter masala dosa and kulfi pasanda , kulfi was good but dosa was not up to the mark
Sushree Jena
This place is a perfect example of giving twist to simple things and making them taste amazing as well. They have a good number of different kind of dosas and their idli manchurian and schezwan dosa is a must try. The best thing about this particular dosa is they don't put mashed potatoes unlike other places where they make it like masala dosa with schezwan sauce. And filter coffee is like icing on the cake.
Purwi Pranshul
I had higher expectations of this place, the staff were friendly and polite although they weren't very prom with the service. I ordered a large dosa as in the picture and a special thali. I would say even though I was much excited for the dosa, it want crispy and it was thick which took away all the fun. The party where it was crispy, it wad too crispy as it was burnt a little. But the thali was good. I felt it's a little pricey as the food didn't really satisfy me. And the preparation time for dosa took around 40 mins, so I wouldn't go there when I am starving hungry just to wait that long. 😅
Shrikriti Singh
Perfect for South Indian breakfast at a reasonable price in this city. Except for the taste of filter coffee which is quite far from the taste it should actually have.
Satyajit Adhikary
The Veg Korma isn't worth at all. Tasteless. So much liquid as if it was a soup. With only potato and little vegetables which got completely washed away by the water. You would feel like a patient on boiled food diet.
Swetak Mohapatra
Want South Indian food - Go south
Want North Indian food - Go south
Want fusion of both - Go south for sure
The Paneer Butter Masala Dosas , Medu Vada , jigar thanda are for sure if you are a 1st timer .
Sanjib Pattanayak
Food quality very good. Quantity also up to the mark. Best part is taste. It taste as we like to have it at restaurant itself. Prompt delivery by zomato. No need to call for adress.
Kasthuri Maha
good service
Divya
They always miss few items
Rommani Pal
Worst food ever. Worst experience ever. The dosa was not cooked properly. The Sambhar tasted like Shit. The chutneys were I don't know what the hell was that.
Abhisek Sen
Excellent food....In my opinion the people who r ordering from here, they never be dissatisfied... Really teasty food and amount is sufficient..
Vishal Patra
Worst place to try South Indian cuisine.
Ps. If you have never tried South Indian cuisine ever in your life then I will be damn sure that after having it here you will never ever try anything post your experience.
The order was pretty simple.. Mysore masala dosa and a uthappam which also they screwed up.. Hats off.and still wondering what is wrong with zomato.. My bad one positive thing. The vanilla ice cream was normal. Coz it was not prepared and was packaged and there was no. Scope of screwing it up..
Fudee
Go South is 'the best' place to try South Indian Cuisine. We had a Thali and falooda. Each and every item was cooked to perfection. Finding a fault out here is next to impossible. The quantity provided is great. They provide unlimited quantity of rice. Moreover, they are so attentive that they come to serve you before you ask them. The food was not spicy and the rice was soft, just like home made food! The Falooda was just wow. Heavenly!! Must try item out here. The service is extremely quick. The staff are courteous and attentive. Had a fantastic experience at Go South. Thank you Guys :)

*Updated*

I recently had the Andhra ghee roast dosa which was very spicy. If you love your food to be this way, then Go for it. Else, simply try the ghee roast dosa.
I had also the mushroom Biriyani. I was so so skeptical about this. And honestly I didn't expect it to be a good choice of mine from the menu. But, it was yummy. Loads of mushroom in the Biriyani. And, it was perfectly balanced in spices.
Again coming to the staff etiquettes, I am satisfied with it. They are alert to your needs.
Pranita Kumari
Very bad packing. I ordered some items and before receiving it, everything was a mess.
Ashmita Panda
I was in go south for breakfast and the place was pretty crowded. The menu is full of different kinds of dosas, idlis, some authentic South Indian dishes. I ordered Falooda and a roasted ghee dosa which had 2 kinds of chutney one was the tomato chutney and the other one was coconut chutney and sambhar. I liked the preparation of coconut chutney more than the tomato chutney. Sambhar tasted good. Falooda was too sweet has it had ice cream over the top and other added flavours along with the falooda in between the layers of pineapple pieces and other things. If you are not fond of sweet item you should skip the falooda.
M.rit
A Must try place for south Indian cuisine lovers.falooda & special south Indian thali are worth mentioning .overall a NYC experience for me.
Satyajit Behera
Ordered onion butter masala dosa . Got it before time. It was well cooked and warm. The sambar was pretty delicious. Among 3 varieties of chutneys only the coconut chutney was a bit tasteless, rest were fabulous. Price is a bit high though.
