Review Pattropoda - Bhubaneswar

Very different place. Much better experience than we expected. Food was served in banana leaves. The dishes, thalis and everything served is worth the price. The taste was quite good. We enjoyed having the Odia Veg Thali. This place would be perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends or family.

1) Not all that's on menu is served 2) bad hospitality per se 3) no attenders in case you are done with your meal to cater you another plate.

Value for money , taste also great , neat and clean , good family restaurant to eat authentic odia dishes.

I really like the dishes. Very good texture and test. Best thing that serv food in brass utensils and also use copper glass and jug for water. Very good staff. Good behavior and friendly.

Amazing restaurant! The taste is amazing aswell as the service. I Loved the way they changed my dish which was not as for the taste i expected. They even use brass plates...who wont love to b served on those plates

New concept and newly opened restaurant. The food quality describing the ancient taste of Odisha. They are preaparing specific food such as Sala patra poda foods. They are delicious and believe me it will remember your childhood. A Food Thali are based on Kansa metal. For vegetarians they have a good Thali which is my favorite. They also serve breakfast and tiffin.. Great concept...

Worst restaurant ever . All food ( patrapoda ) are spicy and not actual taste of patrapoda dishes .they are serving kulthi dal in thali . This is little hard in taste. We are taking our lunch at 2 pm but only 5 to 6 people are there for their lunch .Food bloggers are doing their jobs in that time and restaurant people are acting as customer. Overall this is not a satisfactory restaurant. But restaurant decoration is good.

Worst place I have visited. The food was awful and smelt really gross. The price was also high compared to the quality. I would rather prefer going to any roadside hotel than going to this place again.

As per price quantity is very less.You have to search at least 4 times for mutton in mutton biriyani .Biriyani was spicy with normal taste.Soup was salty they changed it.In mushroom patrapoda which costs 200 found 100 gram of mushroom.Taste was also not great as per price.

It was one of my list to visit.Totally disappointed.fish was raw.it was like 2 min boiled and served.And price is on higher side.I would rather recommend go to Odisha Hotel for better food

The most authentic odia restaurant with the modern bits is actually very good to dine in. Now do ask for the authentic menu because they have 2 and i like the authentic one more. Really enjoyed the dining with good service as well. A must try if you are a authentic lover. And their patrapoda is highly recommended, you know it's in the name itself😅.

My first experience with this restaurant is through home delivery and to be honest I wasn't dissapointed. Everything was well made and not much to complain.<br/>I had ordered steamed rice, Dal fry and Navratna korma. Dry fry could have been better but was edible, so thats fine, lol.<br/>I am always skeptical to order online from new places because they often dissapoint big time but the food from here was nice. Would recommend for home delivery for sure. 😁

It was a invitation . We tried from Kashmir to Kanya kumari . Started with mushroom starter , paneer cham cham ( loved this ) , then the Chinese thing here is nice . The veg biryani is actully the biryani flavoured one . Mutton biryani was good . The authentic odiani items are the speciality to this place . Yes.. according d name , u should try their speciality dish pattrapoda mushroomm and chicken.. those were completely drooling and those smokey flavours .. yumm😋 and about that garlic chicken tikka the taste was good wid mith chatni. Nd yes go nd try their mutton curry and usuna chaula.. they just use their own masala on that..nd if u r a chinese liver go nd try their chinese items aswell😋 ( chilly honey chicken)...yes.. they have introduced some new items aswell.. u must go and check that too

Pattropoda.com serves authentic Odiya food and I loved their food. All the spices are home made and separate spices used in every dish, unlike most of the restaurants, gives each dish a revamped taste.<br/>Very reasonably priced and the best part is you are served in Copper, Kansa and Mud pots!<br/>This goes down as a must try and in fact you can rely on them for your day to day hunger cravings.

Recently visited this place for a food tasting. I was amazed by the food they served both veg and non veg, everything was balanced. Their speciality is patrapoda which was perfect, well marinated and everything retained their own flavour rather than overpowering the taste buds. They serve parboiled rice with mutton which was good as well. Had a overall good experience.

Very much disappointed with the food. Half(more) of the items were not available. There was no “desi” in desi chicken. Pattropada chicken, what it should actually be famous for, was the worst. Moreover, the chicken was not fresh. When you’re craving for some homely Odia food, not the place you should prefer. <br/>Only an extra star for the young boy who waited us after our dissatisfaction from another man’s service.

The moment I reached the place I was a bit disgusted due to it's surrounding cause it's entrance is over an open drain with flies everywhere. The interior is quite clean though. The chilly chicken we ordered was fine but the biriyani had chicken which was too dry and not properly marinated as it seemed. The raita was thick and nice.<br/>Quantity that they​ serve is good but they need to improve in terms of quality.

This place has a good ambience and the service it provides is very nice. Coming to the food, most of the items are not much tasty to be appreciated but it's chilli chicken and pattropoda chicken are the best.

This place serves good but when u order an item by seeing the price on the menu but while billing they say its diffrent item and take something else...

The food here is okay-ish. Not bad and not good. The chole seemed hard and a bit undercooked. The naan they served here was really hard, we had to ask them to change it. But they changed it without creating a fuss. So the staff here is polite and well behaved. Even the ambience is good. But the price according to the food served is a little high. I think they should work on the quality and taste of the food they serve and review their prices

Mini odishi thali is over expensive.<br/>Annapurna thali is ok if you want a pure veg combo.<br/>The patrapoda items are delicious. I tried chicken & chingudi patrapoda, both are superb.

Taste is not very special and is overpriced. Too big menu. Staffs are well behaved and professional. They should work on their menu card and make it concise.

Nice place. Cordial staffs. The Chinese was good. especially the fried momos. The chiken gravy we ordered was basic. Fish was exquisite. I'm going back for the fish soon. 😊

A okay kind of place.. not so fancy.. you'll get a purely Odia feeling from this place .. average taste of food, the waiters there can exchange your plates with others... Normal dining can be done here..

Pattropoda.com. even this place doesn't satisfy its name. The ambience is really cool and spacious but it has no value when food they serve is so pathetic. Tried patrapoda Desi chicken for 250/_. It was 3-4 small pieces staled chicken. They're not fresh and so so dry. And tell them,they won't be great chefs just by wearing a chef hat. At least Don't make people disappointed Everytime. If you don't want to waste your money,then don't visit.
