Review Sigree - Bhubaneswar

Sigree is a bar cum restro in Esplanade. We ordered pur die chingri and najafgarh tandoori chicken with blue hawain mocktail. The pur chingri was good as in jst good in taste and is not at all justifies it's price as it is priced at 575rs with jst 4pcs chingri with decent taste. But the tandoori was jst awesome. 4 big pcs of tandoori chicken with 2leg pc sizzling hot barbequed in spicy sauce was just awesome. Chicken was super juice and soft. The blue hawain mocktail was also super good. Go for tandoori chicken here. Highly recommended. The service was quick and the staff was courteous. The atmosphere was a also good for family. Overall a nice place bt some dishes are overpriced.

Food quality and service is good. Avoid cocktails, they are too sweet or not at par taste. Biriyani and khulcha is a lot better than competitors like "Dil e Mughlai". One of the notable thing is that there is no washroom. A place where alcohol is served should have a in house washroom.

Place was good. Food and service was excellent. Naan is must try in the place. Overall had a great experience with family..

Service is very slow. But worth the wait. Dhaniya Murgh and Keema Mutter highlyyy recommended. And Fish Angadi Kebab.

The food quality is 5/5. Esp the chicken malai tikka. It was so smooth and melt in mouth. The ambience is pretty good, can be better if staffs don't look at you while dining. It gives a negative feeling. Price is 3/5 but since it's located inside Nexus Esplanade so it's understandable. Good place to dine with friends and family. They have hard drinks too (must be above 21 to avail it). I appreciate the staff behaviour and the cook who cooked my chicken. Hat's off. I would recommend this place to everyone.

One of the best restaurant in Bhubaneswar. Awesome food.

Starting from the service to the food everything is five star. This place is really fast and systematic, it won't disappoint you. Garlic naan and chicken tikka lababdar were really delicious. For drinks try screwdriver, one of their famous drinks and that too won't disappoint you. They are welcoming and very professional. A safe place to hangout with kids as well.

Nowadays due to covid pandemic the food court chairs has been removed so there were no place to sit and eat anything so we decided to go to sigree. The name of the restaurant is itself so innovative sigree. The menu was also very fancy and did had some sigree items but we opted for basic garlic naan, murg item and a mushroom item and all were very yummy especially the garlic naan it was so soft and it does now have my heart it was meeting in mouth. I seriously loved it. The serving was very quick, the interior was really nice and classy, the people who were serving us were polite and humble. Definitely i would be recommending this place to everybody.

The food was really yummy. If you want to enjoy the delicacy of food. This is the place for you. Their must try is biriyani. The starter is really diversified. You can spend quality time with your friends or family.

Super tasty food.. Tried Dhuandhar Lal Murgh tikka, sigree raan masala, butter Naan and garlic Naan.. The mutton was really very tasty and highly recommended to try this.. Ambiance is also good.. staffs are well mannered and service was quick...

A must visit place at esplanade one. Various types of food items are available. Superb ambience with wide sitting arrangements. Interior is mind blowing . Delicious food & price is awesome. I would recommend please visit once & enjoy the mouth watering veg/non veg dishes here.

The food was awesome. Although I had heard of Biriyani being the best, couldn’t try it. Next time. Sigri has a very good cuisine. A must visit restaurant if you are in Bhubaneshwar.

Loved it, live up to its expectations. (Second best after their Powai outlet) 1. Food was amazing, their parathas were amazing. Must try - their famous dal makhni which is made of excess ghee. Even the sabji we ordered was great along with many varieties of bread. Starter - Some aloo tikki which was fine. 2. Service was prompt, fast and good. They know how to serve - Put up a smile on your face, be enthusiastic and help your customers while ordering. 5/5 for that. 3. Ambience is nice with ample seating arrangements. Prices are little high but i am absolutely fine with it after considering their food and service. Food chains from Bombay always excel in this particular aspect. Low-key the best restaurant in Bhubaneswar.

The food is really good. The service is nice and quick. But they don't have many options in drinks. Like literally except 4-5 options, they have nothing more to offer. They could add a few more dishes to their Menu. Other than that, the food is great.

The only problem you will face here is the waiting time to get a table. So i suggest u to book in advance, especially if you are going there on a Sunday!

For a Rs. 305 + tax tiny 5pcs is not worth when highlighted to manager, he mentioned its of so many grams and paid no attention to it. Then they should write how many grams in menu.

Good service, good food and ambience

This place is at the food court of Esplanade Mall. The ambience is warm and welcoming. The quality of food is good but quantity is very less. The price is bit on the higher side. Staff is polite and courteous.

Polite and courteous staff. Fast service. Portion of the dhuandaar murgh Tikka was less compared to the price. Onion salad was fresh. Clean and decent ambience. Good place for a family meal !!

This place has a warm ambience. The taste of food was also good. The staff behaviour was also very cordial. what I personally didn’t like was the quantity of food is too less as per the price.

We had Mutton Biryani, Keema Pulao and Tandoori Chicken. The quantity was enough for two. Loved the Tandoori Chicken. The staff was friendly. We were served by Mr. Bisheswar: a very humble guy . Had a pleasant time at Sigree

The food is reasonably priced and wait staff is really great. Bishweshar waited on us. Keema pulao and fish fry were my favourite dishes. <br/>

This is a top place in Esplande Mall and yes they have a large sitting with very cordial staff even though their menu is limited but the presantation and quality of food is top class..

During my recent visit to Kolkata, had thought of trying the buffet spread of Sigree which I had heard so much about. But didn't get the chance. So had to settle for the newly opened Sigree at Bhubaneswar. They only had the à-la-carte menu, so my expectation went down a bit. Nevertheless went on to order some of their popular dishes recommended by their staff. And to my surprise almost everything tasted amazingly good. Had ordered Lychee Ginger Buzz, Angaray Khumb, Malai Pudina Tandoori Aloo, Angaray Fish Tikka, Nazafgarh ka Tandoori Murgh in the appetizers. The tandoori preparation was on point. Loved every dish. For the mains ordered Paneer Khurchan, Murgh Tikka Lababdar, Chicken Biriyani and Garlic Naan. The biriyani gave off a pleasant aroma and tasted equivalently good. And I haven't had this good and soft of a garlic naan in ages which paired well with the gravies. Not to forget the dessert- Chena Malpua with almond crumble and ice cream, was the perfect end to our meal. Me and my family had a complete satisfactory lunch. It would've been a perfect 5 from me if not for the slow service. Next time when in town, will definitely drop by again sometime.

It is a must try destination for the foodies we ordered chicken biryani which was very good, the ingredients were blended well n the taste was awesome, next coming to chilly chicken which was so so so good in taste n mouth watering 😍😍

I have been to Sigree, quite a few times and Mr. Palash has been a wonderful host always in this fine dining establishment. The waiters are very well behaved and are promptly address all your requests. The food is delicious and the starters are to die for. And the best part of everything is that the bill is easy on the pocket.

We had Mutton dum Biriyani, Mutton Seekh kebab & Lasooni Tandoori Jhinga.. Starters were just ok.. But Luv was the Biriyani.. The mutton in biriyani was well cooked & had a great Aroma.. Never had such great Biriyani in Bhubaneswar.. I would luv to have Biriyani here repeatedly.. Thanks for the tasty Biriyani.. Dessert Malai Kulfi was also good..

Have been there 4 times and loved it each time. The varied menu, even in vegetarian food, is great. Plus, they maintain a good ambience and have a good service too. One thing I noticed here, unlike most restaurants, is how the manager would serve people, take orders and even clean tables. That's pretty nice! I went with my family there on Independence Day and he got us a good table in spite of a heavy footfall. I think that speaks for their reputation.

@sigreebhubaneshwar is one of the lit places I have gone so far.Alongwith an amazing ambience it follows the rule of traditionality as well. We were there last night for dinner. Good to see a full restaurant . We were eight of us and there was a problem of seating for eight as this is a relatively small and odd size of restaurant.<br/><br/>Having visited other sigree restaurants in different cities we ordered their best sellers as in.... dum murg kebab, mutton Rogan josh paneer makhani sigree special black dal ( names could appear differently) and different breads to go with it.<br/><br/>The food was absolutely a let down. The kebabs were dry, Rogan josh looked more like just any other bhuna hua mutton , the breads came in cold. The best was the phirni we ordered.<br/><br/>But overall a let down. The restaurant cannot handle a full house. I would not mind if I am called to let you know in detail about the shortcomings last night.<br/><br/>I am a die hard foodie and a food blogger too.<br/><br/>Anyways wish you luck and would like to visit once the restaurant is a little less crowded.<br/><br/>

This place is just perfect for having lunch or dinner. The ambience is quite good, the staffs are also well behaved. Coming to the food this place offers a variety of non-veg as well as veg items.<br/>We have ordered Palak Patta Chat for starters which was awesome. The palak patta was very crispy topped with chopped veggies and chutney. For main course we have ordered Jeera Rice, Mutton Rogan Josh and Mushroom Hara matar pyaz. Mutton was really tender and full of flavour. Mushroom was nice but it was not spicy at all. Jeera Rice was just perfect to go with this.

Biryani here is awesome. The best thing is that you don’t find khada masala in it. While eating if you suddenly chew a elaichi or gol micrh or dal chini then it doesn’t feels good. Separating it while eating is like a break into your food affair. Biryani at Sigree you won’t find khada masala. You can eat befikre hoke. 🥰

The ambiance was very earthy and calm. The menu was not very elaborate but everything we ordered was perfect. The staffs were very cooperative and they added a plus point to the whole experience.

If you're already a fan of Sigree, then it opening in Bhubaneswar is such a boon to you!<br/>I've tried a few items from their a la carte menu (they don't yet have the buffet spread).<br/>The Bharwan tangdi is a much try. It goes beyond words just how good it was.<br/>The Dhuaandar Lal murgh kebab was absolutely excellent as well. Sigree as always has maintained the fact that it's starters are just beautiful.<br/>Next for the main course I've tried the keema pulao and Mutton Rogan Josh.<br/>The mutton was pretty soft in the Rogan Josh gravy, the gravy could've been more flavourful though.<br/>The keema pulao is another recommendation from me.<br/>The mutton pieces are minced SO well, the taste comes out so well. I'm in love with this dish and will try it again n again!!<br/>

Food was good. Gravy of my mushroom was simple and light which I liked .veg biriyani need to improve. Try to add more veggies also Paneer in biriyani. Also try to introduce buffet. Barbeque style.

Unexpectedly impressive. Had dinner yesterday with family. Rogan josh was spot on and my requests for making it mild spicy was duly followed. <br/>Special mention to Bishweswar for making us feel at home and for providing excellent service. <br/>Will certainly be back to try other dishes.

Angaray Fish Tikka<br/>Price:- ₹285.<br/>Sigree is one of the popular brand of the Speciality Restaurant's long list of exotic restaurant chain. They opened their first outlet in Bhubaneswar recently and I was so eager to visit there. The subtle lighting suited with the ambient decor will definitely transport you to the era of the Nawabs and Sultans. And talking about the food, it was really amazing and lip-smacking.<br/>The fish tikka was just awesome, perfectly marinated in spices and cooked. It was also so tender and soft from inside, giving a delicious treat to the taste buds.<br/>Do visit this place if you love authentic Indian food.

Cannot write about food as we were not allowed to have food there.<br/>Last evening 28th July we went there and as restaurant has no table they asked us to wait fr 15 min. We (4people) were waiting and chatting with frnds...we requested fr a table after 20 min and they asked us to wait fr another 5-7 min..by then there was another group of 8 persons came and was waiting... suddenly I saw the bigger group entering in the restaurant on request of the manager.,..we retaliated fr that and they said they were arranging another table fr us it was near about 45 min we were waiting unattended.. nd after that the table they arranged was occupied by a group of 4 who were still having their dessert....so we had to wait fr another 10-15min...ultimately we had to leave the place with no apology frm the manager who were good fr their business but utterly wrong morally which is an integral part of hospitality business<br/>For attending a group of 8 person they missed a family of 25 who is fond of dinning out regularly<br/><br/>Suggest the SIGREE team to balance between good business and ethical business practices<br/>

One of the worst experiences I had in terms of food and hospitality. We reached the restaurant at 9.30pm and were asked to wait for 15 mins. We didn't get a table before 10.30pm. Some estimation. There was a point in between when the manager himself came out and said 5 mins but it took a good 30mins after that as well. When we complained about the service, he looked at us as if we were aliens.Also the food wasn't that great. We tried mutton rogan josh, dhaniya murg and chilli chicken. Everything was average. The people around are so laid back. No proper service. Also due to the texture of table, it will never be clean enough for you. You will realize this when you go there.

We have been at sigree Kolkata for many times,went to sigree Bhubaneswar with great expectations but this place totally disappointed. We ordered chicken afgani malai kebab,received our order on time but taste of the kebab was very blunt. They forgot to add salt in it even the pieces were very small. We ordered chicken biriyani and chicken lababdar in main course.<br/>Chicken biriyani was somewhat okay in taste but the quantity is very less one biriyani will not be sufficient for one person.chicken lababdar is nothing but chicken cooked in thick tomato puree. We didn't enjoy the taste.Sigree global grill at spring club Kolkata is much much better.Service wasn't that good,they didn't offer us any napkin even after asking for it for multiple times.

Well, this was my first time visiting this branch. The seasoning seemed to be just in one part and not the other.<br/>Naan- very thin and soft. Really good<br/>Murgh tikka lababdar - could have been a bit more spicy,the tomato flavor was too much for my liking but my mom liked it.<br/>Firni - one of the best i ever had.must try.<br/>

Today was my 2nd visit to Sigree and I was disappointed yet again. The first time it was too much chaotic at the entry as well as inside the restaurant but I gave them the benefit of doubt as they seemed to be poorly staffed. I wasn't very impressed with the taste of the food as I prefer mildly spicy food and here it was completely bland. Today as well the taste was average (bland, rather tasteless) but the quantity was too less too.<br/><br/>The waiters and attendants also need to work upon learning basic Odia phrases to cater to BBSR'ites.<br/><br/>I don't think I will visit again👎 The food court of Esplanade (outside the restaurant) has better varieties & taste to offer.

I have been there 1 month before. The Ambiance was so nice,so calm. They also provide the services very fast very very polite members. The food quality and taste was awesome.

Hospitality at its best.. I loved their dhuan murg makhni and makai pulao.. I was spellbound by the taste.. but the second time I visited the tasted of murg makhni had changed but they fixed it after I asked them to.. tawa Bhekti was good a little bit spicier than expected . loved the biryani.. multani paratha .. angarey fish Tikka and the mockltails they serve.. worth visiting.. rush soon..

Ambience is super awesome with amazing interior.<br/><br/>Quality of the Food is the major plus point of this place. We had tandoori lehsooni jhinga, chicken tikka lababdar along with multani paratha and garlic naan. Tandoori jhinga was perfectly made into perfection. Garlic naan was soft. Mocktail Guava Jamboree was really refreshing on a sunny day. End we had kesari phirnee. It was awesome. They have very interesting table condiments on the table and were papaya chutney, garlic pickle and mint chutney.<br/><br/>Service was 10 star out of 5 star. Biswa is a great server and polite. This restaurant has a legacy behind it. The kolkata outlet is really good . So I went in with high expectations. The first let down was the very very small menu. They have started with very safe dishes. The choices in the menu are very limited. But in saying that the food quality is really good. The breads are amazing. Recommended dishes are Dal Makhni and Tawa Sabz Nizami. The Paneer Makhanwala was not good. The paneer tasted sour and stale. But apart from that the overall food was really good.<br/><br/>I did not like the ambiance of the place at all. You are faced with a huge wall as soon as you enter. The decor is minimal and it is too dark and dinghy for my liking. The service was okay. I give them benefit of doubt for service as they are a new outlet.<br/><br/>I love the cheese and olive naan that they serve at the Kolkata outlet. I hope they introduce some more items in the menu soon.

We had to wait for long time for placing order as well as in the end for the bill.<br/>Taking about the food, we ordered CNC balls, Dhuan Dum Paneer Makhni and Murg Tikka Lababdar. Balls lacked a bit of taste. Paneer gave an achari taste and murg tikka was a good choice though.

Sigree is a well known brand for it's grilled delicacies. But it's new for my city so I headed to it's Bhubaneswar outlet located in the esplanade mall with my family.<br/><br/>Pros- Great food quality and taste. Hospitality and Service speed was top notch.<br/><br/>Cons- Ambience to be improved.<br/><br/>Test the taste- Garlic naan,tandoor and grilled items and zafrani firni.<br/><br/>Hats off to the in house manager for his dedication.<br/>PS- Reserve a table prior to your outing.

After a long long time in Bhubaneswar, I have come across a restaurant where I could not complain anything about the food, ambience and service. These 3 are my major KPIs and they have excelled in all of them. SIGREE..... This has to be my favourite restaurant in the city. Loved the ambience. The ambience is classy and warm.The service was fast and service staff were very courteous. Coming to the food, this place serves the best chicken tikka. The tender and juicy chicken was amazing. The veg starters were also great. The chicken biriyani looked mouth watering and was quite a treat to my taste buds. The ajwaini roti was also something I really liked. It was a lovely experience !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to give 3.5 but Zomato only want natural numbers. So I have settled down with 3 after taking the average. Visited twice. Nice ambience and soothing interior.but food need much more attention and upgradation. Service is okay.<br/><br/>Multani Paratha : 3/5 : crisp and rustic flavor but very hard to differentiate from Malabar paratha.<br/><br/>Keema Naan : 1/5 : The worst I ever had. No real taste. Felt like eating a normal paratha<br/><br/>Butter Garlic Naan : 4/5 : good flavor of garlic coming through<br/><br/>Keema Pulao : 4.5/5 : excellent dish. Loved everything about it. Right balance of spice and keema. A must try.<br/><br/>Rogan Josh : 4/5 : loved this item. Mutton was cooked perfectly. Only issue I found it more in the spicy side, which Rogan Josh shouldn't be. Gravy could have been little less in quantity being true to the authentic Rogan Josh. A must try<br/><br/>Murg Tikka Lababdar : 4/5 : Gravy was good. Chicken cooked beautifully.<br/><br/>CNC Bombs : 4/5 : CNC or Cheese and Chutney Bomb is an interesting dish.the only veg item we had. It was refreshing and tasty. They can work upon the filling though. Filling can punch more sharp flavor to it.<br/><br/>Bharwan Tangdi : 3/5 : Disappointing with this one. Had high expectations but the bharwan / stuffing push the complete dish down. No real presence of stuffing from any part of Tangdi.<br/><br/>Tandoori Murgh : 3.5/5 : Nothing impressive about this. Regular spices, regular taste like any other places.. but it was cooked perfectly<br/><br/>

Starting with the ambience it's soothing, the decor is nice. Secondly the food is seriously upto mark... I personally loved the Nazafargarh Ka Tandoori Murg, CNC Bombs and the Keema Pulao especially ordered by Ashwas .<br/>Thirdly the staffs are coordial and service is fast and gud...<br/>Overall nice experience...

Well we have a famous indian restaurant in the city and it has just opened doors at THE ESPLANADE MALL. With their signature rustic brick red interiors, the place looks earthy and modern. Food is good if not the best. You want complain about the quality. The chicken though in the butter masala gravy felt as if came directly out of the freezer. The quirky part is being a core indian restaurant it stills retain 7-8 popular Chinese dishes in the menu.

Excellent condition.. Ambient atmosphere.. Steward Biswa was polite and served us good. Keep up the good work.. Good family atmosphere.. Food was delicious and excellent..

The biggest disappointment ever. Went with very high hopes and boy were they dashed. Service is practically non existent, had to wait 20 mins to even get napkins. Ordered naan, biryani and lababdar. Naan was indistinguishable from a laccha paratha, lababdar had too much tomato in it and was as a result too sour. The biryaniwas not bad but it wasnt anything to write home about either. Waiters while polite are extremely incompetent. Not at all worth the money. Much better options for indian food in the city, try delhi darbar for example.<br/>

Best restaurant in bhubaneswar city the ambiance and their service of the managers and waiters is too good food is the best ....price is also reasonable<br/>

One of the best north indian fine dining restaurants in Bhubaneswar. Long due. We had chicken lababdar and naan. The naan was probably the best we've had, soft as a cloud. The management is also very helpful. Must try at least once

The newly opened restaurant of specialty group. Located inside esplanade mall. On a random visit to mall i explored this place for dinner. Ambience was quite soothing with good array of lightings. Food was extremely delicious. We had paneer tikka, chicken makhani and couple of kulchas and naan. Service was impeccable and staffs were cordial. Will make a revisit soon.

Let me start by saying that I am being very generous with my rating for this place. And the only reason is that it is a newly opened outlet in town.<br/>Food was okayish. Infact some were not upto the mark. I liked veg dishes more than non veg. The only thing I liked was chicken dum biriyani. It was rich and spicy. Apart from that I didnt quite like anything that I can recommend. Chicken tikka lababdar was actually suggested by them but was not good at all.<br/>The staff is courteous but isn't efficient. They forget to put forward your orders and as a result one has to wait for really long. By the time they serve the food ordered your appetite just dies.<br/>Overall experience was not that good.<br/>But to err is human and hence I have given a little higher rating than they actually deserve.

It lives upto ur expectations....never ever I had such delicious food. One of the bestest restaurants in bbsr. Do try bharwan tangdi and prawn.
