Good place

A place to be opted for only if u wish to settle for a low budget, isolated, non-ac (as the ac just doesn't work) restaurant in and around Jharpada. The food served is really oily and spicy. Just not advisable for ppl looking fr something healthy or less junk.

As it is near my house i ofen order food from here.I like the food here and it us quite reasonable like 2 plate of fried rice ,one paneer tikka and one place american corn costs me just 500 bugs.And this much is sufficient for 3 -4 people.The nans and sabzi are good.I wont say it is excellent but not bad at all.Nice place to sit and have foof peacefully.The service us good and there is a prompt action to every thing that you order.In short -Good food , reasonable price,good service.

I was looking out for proper chinese food and hence was going for a search but decided to settle for Shahi darbar instead ( The scribbling looks nice from outside :D )<br/><br/>Location and Ambiance :<br/><br/>Located just on the road side of the main bomikhal road. One cannot miss this restaurant. It has an okay-ish ambiance. No real complaints there. Felt that if it is crowded then may be there will be no noise cancellation and also due to presence of too much seating arrangements the place might get a bit suffocated. Well there is a lot of 'May be' . Moving on.<br/><br/>Food :<br/><br/>Darbari special chicken angara kabab -<br/><br/>Normally while cooking chicken in a tandoor/clay oven there is a big chance of over doing it. But the kabab was perfectly done. It was juicy and was flavorful. A well marinated and nicely cooked chicken kabab dish. A little acidic coleslaw on the side and the mint chutney complemented it well.<br/><br/>Kulcha/Bhuna gosht -<br/><br/>Kulcha was nice. It was freshly made and served hot. Bhuna gosht was oily. When it was being served to me i was reluctant to even start eating it. Even if the mutton was cooked well, there was just too much rendered fat and oil. It looked unhealthy. I always believe tasty food doesn't necessarily means more oil. A big disappointment.<br/><br/>Service :<br/><br/>It was quick. Staffs were very courteous.<br/><br/>I will certainly try out other items as well especially something in chinese and their biryani offerings. Looking forward to it.<br/><br/>

Stumbled Upon Here on a Veggie Day Saturday Night along with a Buddy,went with no expectations & Ordered Some Butter Naan & Veg Manchurian And To The Surprise it was awesome. The Ambience , The Courtesy , The Food.. Everything was delicious .Plus The Menu and Bill doesn't burn your pocket too. Looking for some good food & Quality ,This is Your Place.
