I have eaten in many local restaurants, at hotel buffets, and from steet stalls all over Bodhgaya. Bodhgaya Kitchen is, hands down, the best Indian or Tibetan food in town. The highly varied, mostly vegetarian dishes are delicately and lovingly spiced as hot or mild as requested. The various bread options are all custom prepared as are the main dishes and delightful soups. No warmed over food here. With few frivolous accoutrements indoors, in front is a lively, outdoor dining area. Ten stars out of five.
The food was excellent. It was worth the money and Raja waiter is really great. He treated us very well and his sevice was excellent. Must visit if you're in Bodh Gaya.
