The best shack on the beach. The food and service are excellent! The full indian breakfast is definitely worth going for with lovely milky coffee great way to start the day. Have not had a bad meal and would highly recommend a visit!!

Superb place to relax and spent a day. There are sunbeds with the perfect view of sea, also its away from the crowd of calangute hence you can enjoy the calmness. The food here is really good especially prawns, crispy chicken, briyani, sandwiches. Lastly its not that expensive even and hence i highly recommend this place. Will surely visit again when in goa.

It would be true to say that most local beach shacks in this area survive on friendly Goan hospitality, a well stocked bar and varied menu but as blessed as I am to just finish a 3 week stay for Christmas and New Year in Goa on drifting along the beach one day I found these gorgeous people and promptly became a very regular fixture as Aggie and all of his team are quite simply part of the paradise of Calangute, Goa and are firmly placed here after 30 years of trading. What they do, they do really well! I felt like an additional part of the family within days. The chef here is seriously good! Bravo! I can only pay rightful compliments out here on the web for delicious blended spices and flavours of fresh fish, seafood and well balanced Goan curries. The menu is extensive with local specialities and regular favourites and most newly tried dishes I had were personally revisited... I cannot recommend this place enough as a backdrop to your beach day and hope that as the world returns to normal many loyal and new customers will seek you out making 2022 a year of prosperity. You absolutely deserve to thrive and thankyou all for making my long overdue return to Goa such a super time...you have created a 'must come back and soon' as a noted priority!

This is THE shack on Calangute Beach - don’t bother with the rest. We spent a wonderful holiday here over Christmas. Every morning we’d leave our hotel and head to the beach. Aggie is an excellent host. Sun loungers were complimentary and our towels would be set out by the staff every morning in our favourite spot. We would stay all day, dining and drinking and usually spend less than £15 each - including 2 meals and many, many beers. The food was exceptionally good - Aggie even invited us to the kitchen to see dishes prepared. We had a whole variety of Goan cuisine, the highlights being freshly grilled red snapper, and prawn stuffed papads. But there were truly too many meals to mention. On Christmas Day we had a wonderful seafood platter with mudcrab, squid, pomfret, shark. Really wonderful. Coming here was the highlight of our holiday.

Aggies Cafe was introduced to me by my friend in 2019 and I came back here in 2021 . It is located on one of the cleaner parts of Calangute beach . The cafe offers high quality food ,chilled drinks and very good service . We sat on the beach shacks to relax and also enjoy the delicious food . Surely had a memorable experience here .

This is a nice place to chill in the warm sunshine. With the sea facing view, one can enjoy the meal. The food tastes really nice and the service is also fast as compared to the rush during peak hours.

A beautiful beach shack on a beautiful not-so-crowded beach. This is a rare find in North Goa. Evenings here with their tasty seafood and the setting sun is relaxing and peaceful. The people here are friendly. The songs they play are good. There is a small toilet behind the shack, but you'll have to hold the door with a string (which is attached to the inner side of the door) because even after closing the door, you'll find a small gap. Also, don't forget to take your own toilet paper. That's all. - @thebackpackingmalayalee

Worst in the lot. No hospitality. Staff is rude. Food is worthless. Stale food. They didn’t even replace it. Moreover, consistently reminded us that the food cannot be replaced....

This Cafe is one of the most friendly shack on the calangute candolim beach. The staff is very friendly and trustworthy specially Joseph and Aggies.they have multiple options in breakfast specialisations in seafood and they also help vegetarians to survive with quick fixes all in all the shark has an excellent location majority of tourist are non Indians and the vibe of the place is very positive you will never feel alone sitting there and they will serve you with a smile on your face always

Calangute is a nice sandy beach with sparse travellers. The setting is very nice and the music is trance and nice for an evening with setting sun in view. Service is below par, though you expect better from shacks. The food is not spicy, to cater to tastes of mostly foreigners. Overall avg exp.

They accept only cash. We order chicken sandwich which tasted uncooked. Golden fried prawns was good. Nice view on the beach in the evening with candle lights on the tables.

Went today based on reviews. Worst experience. No response from staff. No menu available. Not even ready to disclose food options. Looks like they only need foreign customers. 😡. ...

If you are in Calangute area and want a quiet place to chill then Aggies's has to be the place. This shack is near The Park hotel in Calangute which is at the fag end of the Calangute beach and thus the quietness.
We visited the shack on 21st November, which happened to be the first day of the shack after reopening.
We had few beers, Chicken Lollipop, Butter Garlic Calamari, Butter Gralic King Prawns and Fries in the starters. The best part of this was the Butter Garlic Calamari. The portion was decent.
In main course we went for some Special Noodles which have both Chicken and Prawns and they were great.
Overall great food and a quiet place where you can relax yourself all day that too in the crowded Calangute beach.

Tucked away at one end of the ever-crowded Calangute beach , Aggie's Cafe provides the perfect solitude required to relax while watching the setting sun. You need to take a left from the entrance to the beach and keep walking for quite some distance till you get to this place.

Seafood here is great and so are the Goan cuisines. I liked the batter fried prawns, chicken xacuti and chicken vindaloo which I had here. Also the coffee and other drinks here were great. The prices are the lowest I have seen for a shack during my entire stay in Goa.

Go Aggie’s!

Great place to be. It was peaceful to be here. Similar to other shacks but the best part is the seclusion. It was less crowded. Food was good. Service was great.

Wednesday night is barbeque night. Awesome candle light dinner on the beach with your loved one or friends, so near to the raging sea waves; play some music and dance on the sand, and look up at the stars with a bottle of beer. Bliss. Awesome. Speechless. Lifetime memories

Regular beach shack. Like any other beach shack in Goa, nothing extra ordinary, and it is in the interior, not easily approachable, apart from that the shack owner was a good host, friendly not the types who would only stick up to foreigners.. They do not accept cards.. If you are visiting Aggie's, then make sure you carry cash. As the closest ATM is easily 4-5 km away ..
