Review Cafe Lazy Days - Calangute

CCD has its own signature style and flavour. While going on a long journey it was very refreshing break. The place is clean and the service is quite good and prompt. Ideal place for all personal & business meetings. Place your order, enjoy the coffee & you can be in this place as long as you want. Great staffs. Good quality of coffee & nice sides.

CCD is always a saviour during night time . If you are damn hungry or wanted to have some bite but all the shops are closed...you see CCD just drop in without giving a second thought😊 This is on 1st floor of building...enough space for chilling..service is great.. Ambience is beautiful If i talk about food...then dessert options are plenty here Rest all are same like other CCDs. Location is also nice it is near calungate beach.....many stores are nearby. Note:- Take a walk on road after finishing your coffee, you will love the silence😊

The biggest caffe coffee day ever! I can accommodate around 30 people at a time easily! Nice ambience!

Very friendly staff . We went drenched from the beach and yet they welcomed us without a fuss . Lots of space as well.
Darren Fernes
Excellent spot for a coffee shop and as it has a ground level and a top level the view from top looks better.
Umesh Chitturi
Its a nice place to hangout and have a cup of coffee. The staff were good and nice.

Good place... If you don't find anything that suits you in Goa, you can go here

A very pleasant place to spend yr evening. Not the typical Goan eatery but one with a very European atmosphere. The staff are very helpful and informative about the food served, especially Max who served us.
Jaya Jain
Amazing place with a family-friendly vibe. The live music on the weekends is absolutely amazing. Overall, loved the food, drinks and the ambience. The staff is pretty epic too.
Chirmi Raingam
I love everything about this place, the hospitality, the service, the food, the ambiance, the atmosphere.. My old time fav in this place is the coconut pancake - mouth watering even as I type Shalini Poddar
Prabhsimran
The food is overpriced. It is average tasting and quality and one can find much better food elsewhere at worthy prices. The staff is extremely rude and delays were caused by the staff because "you (a family crowd) are all over the place". It was a very rude thing to say, and he wouldn't even serve us water
Gourab Chakraborty
Very nice place and ambience. We had breakfast here. Food was very good and tasty. Beverages are equally good.
Rajitha K
Tasted some really good food from this place. Nice ambience .. a perfect dinner can be planned here.

If you are a desserts fan, you should try Double Chocolate Mousse, and if you are not a desserts fan, you should definitely Try this you will fall in love with this delicious item. Kudos to the Chef for making my day. Probably the best food and dessert I've had in Goa.

The creme brulee is to die for and the staff is awesome and courteous... Ambience is also soothing with great music

Hopped in for some lunch with my group. Had a womderful time.
Ordered a range of dishes from italian to goan to indian
There was Dal makhani and paneer and malabari parotha
Chicken cannelloni, sphagetti aglio olio and garlic bread
And ofcourse fried prawns
Ended with creme brulee but it could have been done better
CHAITALI SONAWANE
Quite a decent place however not so pocket friendly. The quality is average and the quantity is not worth the price. The taste is pretty average however the dish presentation/garnishing was so on point. However would expect more in quality and quantity.

This is a very peaceful and lovely place which once must visit with delicious food be it the veg or non - veg dishes with the beautiful ambience. Also the attendant - Max was very welcoming and friendly with us .! Hope to visit this place soon✨

It's not often, in my experience, where the quality of food improves with time.... But this is the case with LAZY DAYS!
I can definitively state that their fried fish has improved and their carpaccio is to die for! One of the best I've had in Goa....
They don't stinge on the portions and their
service is with the proverbial smile.
Do yourself a favour and visit this restaurant.

Excellent food place with neat interiors, ventilation and good food. Very appealing atmosphere. Tried English Breakfast. The dish was really good with bacon, sausages, mushrooms, beans etc. The coffee and juice served along with it was also nice. Very good service from the staff. Highly recommended!

Never got to taste their food. Waited at the restaurant for an hour after placing our order. When we tried checking how long it would brake, they said that it would take another 30-40 minutes. They were very unapologetic about the delay and seemed okay with us leaving if we weren't okay with the wait time.
A waste of time if you're in Goa.
Priyanka Salvi
Where do I start, this is my absolute favourite place in Goa.
It’s a little far from Calangute beach but a jewel for people who have discovered it, mostly accidentally.
Roshan Sah
Food taste only good but not hygienic, music was gr8 but table was not cleaned no water asked when arrived and when i order cheese cake der was 2-3 hair lying inside which was very yuk for me. I dont recommend to anyone if u go anyhow please see the food carefully

Visited on 21st Oct:We visited this place by accident, and we are glad that it happened. We took a wrong turn and we came across this cafe.
First look: Foreigners, live music, great decor, pool table

Less option for vegetarian. Booze rates are quite decent. Good food and music.
Live music is the one thing that keeps you going.
If I am not wrong the lady owner/manager is quite enthusiastic and encourages everyone to dance.
First impression of staff behavior was not great. We asked them for wifi password as there was some signal issue. They said first we need to place the order. We ordered booze and then they said we need to order food too. I mean that was quite weird.

Overall the cafe has positive vibes and should be a good try for everyone.

Rating out of 5:
Ambience: 4
Ease to locate: 3
Food quality: 4
Staff courteous: 3
Music: 5
Easy on pocket: 4
Overall 4/5

A great place to relax and enjoy a lovely meal whilst in Calangute.
We tried the Chicken Wings and Salad with Goat Cheese. Both were really tasty, with the sauce on the wings and the sharpness of the cheese in the salad bringing the dishes together.
The main course of stuffed chicken breast and fish and chips was great too. The chicken was cooked well and stuffed with veggies. The fish was fried crispy and golden and not overcooked. The tartare sauce that accompanied it was a winner too. The mushy peas, however were a bit of a letdown.
The real standout however, was the beef carpaccio. Thin slices of beef that melted in your mouth, covered in a slightly sweet and slightly sour dressing was unexpectedly the best part of this meal.

As a bonus, the service is prompt and this place isn't too heavy on the pocket either!

If u want to have decent food to eat pls DON'T come to this place. They denied giving original bill and won't accept card, paytm or phonepe. Insisted on cash. When asked they said there is some problem with computer software and won't generate bill.
Akhil Ojha
Horrible experience
Not sure how the rating is above 4.
No card payment is accepted, no original bills, pathetic food, it is for sure a no visit cafe
Rakesh Kumar
Wrost Service ever. Rude behavior and not accepting any card. People are coming and going asking us money. No invoice number on bill. Do not ever go to this restaurant

Few mins walk from the commercial Calangute beach. The live music attracted us to get in.
Nice woody ambiance, good live music. Friendly and fast service.
We order Sea food platter and it was served hot and delicious. I recommend this place.

Not a good place to go, they tend to take your feed back or complaint in food as enemity. If you are from out side the territory of Goa or across the nation don’t choose this place, owner with his staff can thrash you outside anytime in between your food. Needless to say, food is pathetic. Though, being a lawyer, I am looking suitable legal options against the Criminal intimidation of owner and staff.
Arun Iyer
The restaurant doesn’t enforce the “No Smoking” policy. The owner casually tells you that the government was strict about the policy for a month and that was the end of it. He also believes enforcing the policy in any way— like demarcating a smoking zone— would affect trade. So we cancelled the rest of our order and walked out.

Here’s other incentives to completely miss this place. There’s nothing special about the location. There’s nothing unique in the menu. And a couple of things that we did order from the menu had anything to write home about. This includes the Tomato Basil Soup, pasta and a salad that contained both watermelons and banana with with bell peppers and a dressing that included pepper. Couldn’t get my head around the sweet and savoury in the salad, the sweet jarring the savoury.

The White Russians were too sweet and the staff not as much.

*Full English Breakfast*
Feasting lavishly with this being the day's first meal, there's not a better way to break one's fast.
.
A plateful of relish served with pork sausage and bacon, gets you drooling instantly.
.
Further the sunny-side up fried egg with a generous portion of baked beans, grilled mushrooms and tomatoes keeps you hooked to the delectableness, naturally. .
A perfect day's start to get a foodie up and going😊

A must visit place in Goa to have breakfast/brunch. There menu is interesting. Staff is good. We ordered different kinds of omelettes along with chicken sandwiches all were amazing. For drinks we had coffee, fresh juices and beer. Totally impressed with this place.

Thanks to Sherry for suggesting me this cafe. Went there for dinner. It was not a very happening place though, as I expected. But still I liked it because of ambience and food. I ordered sea food platter and roast chicken which were good. The best part was Mango cheesecake! This is the best cheesecake I ever had in my life! It was so light unlike other cheesecakes which are so heavy! And more than that it was damn tasty! Thanks a lot Cafe Lazydays for providing it 'on the house'.

I am feeling so sad, cos I clicked their food pics on insta and forgot to save them😞 their food presentation was too good😍 and I wanted to share on zomato 😔food was tasty, yummy, lip smacking.
PS- try their dessert panna cotta 😍
Extremely disappointing visit with no humility among the staff. If you’re going for a good time, will strongly discourage you.

Hopefully they learn how to talk to customers!!

Visited this place to spend sometime and eat a bit of snacks before leaving for airport...
the place was a total disappointment🙁 the only thing tht was good about the place was peaceful ambience...
The staff gave us complimentary chips which tasted stale🙄
We ordered garlic bread with cheese and thought nothing could go wrong in tht... but it was too dry and was difficult to gulp without water 😣
Beer and coke were the only thing tht was 👍🏻
After garlic bread and chips didn’t feel like ordering anything in this place...
Dec2017: The ambience of the restaurant is good. However the service and food is not upto the mark. I visited with my family and we had ordered tomato soup, tandoori roti, chicken kadhai, dal fry and rice. Except for the soup and rice nothing tasted good, or rather correct. Especially the chicken kadhai preparation was totally not what it is supposed to be like. Chicken was not cooked properly and it tasted bland and seemed to have been added later to the preparation of the curry. The service was also slow even when there were not too many tables occupied.

Our trip isn't complete if Cafe Lazydays is not visited . Goan fish curry and rice was our main course and Pasta Pomodoro with lime soda . Food was not the usual . Pasta was not well cooked. Goan curry was fine , the fish fry that was along the curry was good n crispy . Potato wedges were ok. Only two ppl to service but the service was prompt. No more games for kids to play:(. The ambiance stays the same thankfully . Nice music as before . But I guess food wise gone a lil lazy . For dessert it was our all time favourite from here ; Panna cotta which thankfully stayed the way it was.The dessert made us overlook the main course. Otherwise for old time sake and the relaxing place that it is !! Giving it a 4

Awesome food and nice ambiance, the tase of the food was great, went for lunch, ordered pomfret and that was delicious.Cheaper when compared to other restaurants.
Chaitali Sonawane
The ambiance is pretty good. The food is also tasty however not worth the price. Abit on the pricey side considering the amount of food you receive. Staff isn't that friendly to guide you with dishes. The quantity is very less that is a concern.

After having a hard luck at most places in Goa, a friend recommended this place. In one word, I would say beautiful. The entire place is airy. Tables are spaced out and it's a cozy ambience. Since we wanted vegetarian food, we ordered palak paneer, dal makhni and chapati. Dal was delicious and palak paneer was okay. Everything was great only the chapatis were fatter around the edges. And finally we ordered chocolate milkshake, which was amazing. Must try place.

Superb food !! Loved their plating, quality and service :)
Loved their chicken Caesar salad and the English breakfast.
Omlettes and sandwiches were nice too.
A must try for English food lovers 👍
Good ambience n a good place to chill with friends over a glass of beer ... The food is of good quality and fresh..
I tried calamari rings, pulav alongwith raita and papadam.. all served hot and good quality.

Bad experience with Manager! While the food was good and boys were courteous, the manager has no clue how to speak with customers. We didn't know that the restaurant takes payment in cash. After paying by cash we requested him to mention on the promotion board "Payment by Cash Only". Instead of taking the feedback he just said that "80% Goa works on cash. Why should I mention, you should check before ordering." While talking to us he was on phone and had no courtesy to talk properly and politely. He even used abusive words with the guest left just before us. A BIG NO NO TO THIS PLACE. 2.5 RATING ONLY FOR THE SAKE OF FOOD.

Saw some nice reviews of this place in travel video blogs and hence decided to check it out. Turned out to be an amazing dining experience. Food was top notch - fresh, flavourful and refreshing. Dessert was a great palate cleanser and whatever you do, don't miss the panna cotta. The live music was really nice and created a relaxed ambience to enjoy the evening.

I would like to congratulate the owners of this place to have kept up the standards and lived up to the reviews that I had read before going. This was such a relief given that a lot of other renowned places don't care about quality during the off season at Goa.

After 3 days of not getting satisfactory food, this place is a boon. Though visited it on the last day of my Goa trip, but this has to be one really good Cafe to eat and was near to the resort we were staying. Ambience is cute with candle lights. The food gives you a homely feeling. Must try dishes here are sea food and Punjabi. Definitely coming here if I'm staying in North Goa again.

Cafe Lazydays started our sumptuous food sojourn in Goa. With open space, recliners and chilled out people, this place offers one of the best MASALA OMELETTES I have had. The mushroom toast with dripping hot cheese and Chocolate Shake is another must try. Alfredo pasta on the other hand can be given a miss.

Try this place for its laid back appeal and food!

This place is a real gem! I was riding by this place on a Friday night (around 8:30pm) and it was the live music that made me stop. They have live music on Friday nights & Mr. Haydn has this mesmerizing voice that can convince any passerby to walk in, like it did to me! The music was great, the lighting was low, the place quite spacious and tables are well spaced out with enough room between any two tables. I immediately liked the place. They have a great bar & the bartender knows his stuff! I absolutely loved my drink. The food was absolutely delicious! The presentation of food & drinks was top-notch & the effort that went behind each dish is clear by the care they take in plating the food. The staff is very attentive, as well as unobtrusive and on their best behavior. Service is very good. This place is so charming, I was so glad I chose this place to spend my evening. I had a wonderful time & I am definitely going back here on my future Goa visits. Not sure if they have live music on days other than Friday evenings, but I think this is still a great place to hang out. 3 cheers to Mr. Haydn, the chefs and the staff of Lazy days! I have posted this review in google & tripadvisor as well.

Worst service. They don't serve.
They ask for extra money if you ask for salad, onion and lemon. Mostly busy with foreigners. They don't have much variety.

I rarely repeat a place in a day but Cafe Lazydays, boy, you were an exception!

I loved eating out there. Even though I am visiting in a rather slack season for Goa and seafood in general, this place ensured to serve freshest of meat, ingredients and the flavors you see in enclosed pictures were absolutely full.

The prawns curry rice was lip smacking! You have mastered the art of an authentic Goan fish/prawns curry

PS- After our dinner, we got an on-the-house desert.. a delicately flavored panacotta.. truly won our hearts!

Way to go.. keep it up 😊😊😊

Treated my parents to dinner at Cafe Lazydays a couple of months back. It's a cozy little restaurant which serves up amazing steaks and continental food. The ambiance there compliments its food making it the perfect place for an intimate dinner out. The service was also good. Will definitely visit this place again.

Went here for breakfast. Amazing ambience and great food. Do try eggs , omelette or scrambled. Both taste yumm. They do not serve toast with eggs .. remember to order separately. ☺️

Long flight and an even longer car ride later we reached Calangute. It was dinner time and in no mood to go some place far, we decided to take a walk from our hotel. Cafe Lazydays was one of the few places we saw open and looked decent for a meal.

Wasn’t occupied much, just a couple of tables were taken. The atmosphere was chilled out, the staff was in no hurry and the mood was serene. I guess typical Goa feel.

I wasn’t in the mood for full on sea-food late in the night and decided to go for regular roti-sabzi. We ordered Paneer Tikka Masala, Roti and Pineapple Raita. The service was good and our food was served quickly. Only problem was that we had to ask for water and salad. In fact after that I realised that in Goa you have to ask for water specifically(in this heat, that is quite a pain) in every restaurant/shack/cafe.

The paneer dish was delicious and the roti was also soft and hot. But the pineapple raita I just didn’t like. It was like pineapple chunks were forcefully added to salted yoghurt. The raita lacked the sweet taste it should have had. Also they charged 180 for the raita when the paneer was for 200. When we asked why this price variation, as we thought the raita was for 80 rupees and was mistakenly written as 180, the waiter very nonchalantly said it was absolutely right. No care in the world.

Apart from the that particular encounter, the cafe is pocket friendly. If staying in Calangute, you should visit Cafe Lazydays.

The good: Mood and tasty Paneer.
The bad: No interest in the customer’s query.
The ugly:Nothing

Food was decent. The music was classic rock which is always great. The staff were polite.
Ambience was decent. All in all was a good place to just chill.

If you're looking for a cool, airy, shady and a beautiful place to cool yourself off, cafe lazydays is the place for you. They play a unique selection of music which is very soothing to hear and relaxing in effect. All of this makes this place a great place to chill at, on a holiday. The food is good too. The service is a bit slow, but who's complaining!
I would recommend you to try it out.

Awesome
The food is awesome.. Their presentation is wat i was more impressed with.. Quite reasonable fr wat they offer.. Wil definitely be back..

This cafe is worth 0 rating.

Seeing the decent enough reviews and stars, I entered this cafe with my friends after having fun time at beach. Being wet, me and my friend ASKED the waiter if we could use the washroom since we were drenched in water with some sand stuck all over the body. Also, being a group of 8, we expected a bigger table so as normal as we could be we asked for one. Instead we got a small table of 4. There were tables available but when the cafe authority was being tried to explain to join small tables, they blatantly replied with a no and added "That is your problem, we cant help you with it." With such a reply my friends sitting outside were not willing to sit there anymore. Meanwhile, the bathroom we were using was little dirty by the end and the decision to leave the cafe was finalised as a result of rude and hopeless behaviour.

I was the last to get out of the cafe and then there came the so called cafe owner who was stinking in cigarette smell with one lit in his hand, started yelling at me to clean the bathroom. He removed a mop and threw it at me. He said we didnt eat anything and messed up his bathroom. Not willing to listen to me, he was downright rude to a me. I could somehow manage to call my friends back. When they came in and this guy was still yelling asking us to "shut up" and then fined us. Helpless, we paid a fine of 200 bucks and were asked to "get out". The owner was did not listen to a SINGLE sentence and demeaned his customer till the very end.

We wouldnt even have minded cleaning the washroom, provided the man was atleast courteous even to speak. Such worthless hospitality by a well known cafe is the worst thing I could experience. I just wanted to save some more people from this insult and disrespect.

Peace. Tranquillity. Lazy. U will get in this mode. This place has that charisma. Was satisfied with their service, ambience n candle light dinner. My son n wife love this place. Try their goan speciality Xacuti n Vindaaloo dishes. Special mention for chef Alberto? (pardon I cannot recollect the name), he ensured n recommended true goan delicacies.

Fantastic food! The pastas were really good and so were the prawns and the goan fish. Special mention of the cocktails which were done quite well. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Do not miss the creme brulee and the mousse. The vibe is nice and laid back. Had a good time and will certainly return for more!

Good place to hang out with friends. Very lovely ambience. Very less choice of food in veg section, but very tasty. One of our friend's birthday had come up during our stay. We had asked them if they had cake. They were very sweet to tell us they could make one for us. They did an yummy chocolate cake. Had an amazing time. Very sweet and helpful staff. Would definitely visit again.

Great food. Lovely ambience. Very attentive staff.
Their fish cakes were perfect... crispy outside n full of fish inside. Great tartar sauce too.
Grilled fish was great too.
Between 4 adults n 2 kids... we had starters..mains..Lots of drinks and paid around 2.4K. That was great

Standard ambience, decent food, nice service too but I would only say that because it was busy at all. Cocktails are good. Menu is very limited. Quantity is absolutely terrible.. all the portion sizes are really tiny. Here's a picture of the creme brulle.. like everything is pretty much half of what you would served at other restaurants. A little too lazy for me. Lots of extra charges! Oh and they accept onky cash. I'd be vary of this place. Bad experience overall.

The name it self give you a feel that you are holding the time and spending it in a most relaxing place in goa. If pasta could speak, it would probably say take me to lazydays ;-) it's a must try place. Love the ambience where not many people would have noticed that they have a clock totally running in opposite directions yet shows the right time :-)

I spent a whole afternoon here with a beer and playing pool. So if you get enough with sand and beach here is where you drop.

Food - 4.5
Ambeince - 4.8
Service - 4.2

The first time I visited lazy days it was in a different locale. The new location has been around a few years now and is a staple destination for all visits to Goa. Thankfully it's just 5 mins away from home :)
My friends love it and when undecided on where to go lazy days always gets a unanimous yes.
The place has this relaxed beach shack atmosphere. And serves kings beer- the true king of beers.
The food here has never disappointed .... And I have tried a lot of different stuff. The bangers n mash, I find, even outdo those at the Irish village Dubai. Their ability to deliver outstanding dishes both taste wise and presentation wise across the different cuisines offered is five star.
Must tries are the bangers, beef chili fry, beef stir fry, Goan sausage chilli fry, butter garlic calamari, fish curries, the list goes on.
Kudos to Adolf for insisting on an awesome culinary experience.
Omg! Where do I begin. I have no idea why this place is not full all the time. Its an amazing place to dine with your friends and family. Right from the staff to the decor to the food, simply amazing. Its easy to locate if you are closer to the calangute cross roads. If you follow the maps its just a little more ahead than the location pointed. The entire restaurant has this beach shack feel. Lovely ambiance with well placed decor everwhere. Good music played. The staff is friendly and well educated with the menu. The food was great. We tried alot of their dishes (beef strips, beef lasagnia, pomfret fry, etc) (Wish the menu was available on zomato) and also few cocktails (as you can see in the pics, anyone know the names of the cocktails please comment below as I've forgotten). They also have a snooker table in the side. The prices are reasonable. I thought only 5 star restaurants have such food service. When I go to goa next, im definitely visiting again!

V had found dis place accidentally when we were in goa d last tym n things like d homely goan hospitality, ambience n service have not changed at all. Love spending tym at this place. D breakfast quality for the same quantity of breakfast served at Brittos or infantaria is better n reasonably priced. Lunch n dinner whether its Continental or Goan cuisine was great. Must have's r d beef/prawn xacuti, rawa n rechado prawns, prawn curry rice, beef chilly, beef tenderloin n honey glazed pork roast .Good n prompt service provided by d servers Arun, Arjun n Vijay. Thanks to the owner Adolfo (I believe dats his name) .keep it up

Reached the place a bit late. But the restaurant owner was kind enough to serve us. Had some fish dishes and it was good. Loved their desserts as well..

One of the first places we hit when we reached Goa! They serve amazing English breakfast. We ordered Masala omelette, Mushroom omelette, Bacon and cheese omelette, Fries, Nutella pancakes, Pork sausages, chicken and cheese sandwich, and Masala Tea.
All the omelettes were soft and perfectly cooked. They don't serve breads along with it so make sure you order some. Pan cakes was a bit on the dry side, we expected gooey. Nonetheless, it tasted well. Pork sausages and bacon and cheese was tried by my friends and they loved it! The cheese and chicken sandwich was good in taste too.
All in all we had a our tummies full with satisfaction when we left the place. We had ordered a few beers and juices too along with this. Our bill came up to 3.3k.
Overall:
Ambience: 4
Service: 4
Food: 4

If you are looking for nice huge place open view , listening to nice lounge music and having your bites then this is the place . We visit this place every time we are in Goa . Basically , it lives up to its name , you can lazy around , unwind in the ambience and yet bite in to there specialities. From tasty omelette to main course they have it right . Panna cotta for dessert tops the desserts list . One can sit in the armchairs facing the road or on high stool right around the bar . If nothing then just dine on the tables spread around ! For me this plays rocks for its ambience and fast and freshly served food . Menu is not vast but they know what they have on menu is perfectly made and tastes good . Its an experience to be here ..I loved thelazy days spent at the lazydays!!

Goa being such a plethora of choices for food lovers offers a lasting gastronomic memory or two every visit. Be it the first time I visited Curlies or the famous Brittos. Or specialities like Souza Lobo or one of my fav Lila Cafe near Anjuna. This trip we came across this place near the famous Casa deGoa hotel. We visited the place once everyday and it contributed a lot to the experience.

Aptly named, the word lazy plays a big part. From outside you might miss it during day as they always keep the lighting dim. The ambiance is perfect. In the sense when you want to just relax over breakfast and catch up with a friend after a long time. Lots of places to seat but never feels crowded due to the huge space. They have a bar area where one can seat as well. I would recommend sitting there if you have mainly drinks on your mind. There is a pool table charging by the hour. Its very cheap and you can take your time whether you are a pro or just having fun.

Coming to the food, the english breakfast was awesome. I have previously loved it at Lila Cafe but Lazy-day does it perfectly. The coffee was just perfect for me. We also tried the beef and chicken steak. The beef steak was done perfectly. At the price point it was just excellent. My friend told me the chicken steak was nice was well. The main attraction for me was the pork sorpotel. It was just lip smacking good. I have had that dish every-time I been to Goa, but never knew it could be that good. 5 stars for that dish any-day.

That said, good food in Goa is common. Nothing worth mentioning. But the ambiance , crowd and feel is what makes a place stand out. Souza Lobo has always been my fav but it has the advantage of being on the beach, like Britto's as well. Lazydays even being on the road tops the ambiance for me. For me a quiet comfortable lazy wind up is the perfect and essential accompaniment to all the fun Goa has to offer. Start the day with a english breakfast or end with the Goan delicacies, the place will definitely give you something to remember by. Hope to visit soon again. Cheers.

Some fav dish additions:
Fish Fillet
Fish Cake
Beef Strips
Pepper Steak (simply awesome).
Pork chop (simply awesome)
Irish cuban or havana coffee
Cold coffee
Fish of the day (i had a huge tiger fish once cooked to perfection)
Fish and chips
Prawn Calamari skewer ( awesome)
Souffle and cheesecakes

Update: after visiting like 10-12 times the same place in goa to eat, its very obvious to even myself that this may well indeed one of the best (if not the one) place in Calangute. The behaviour of the staff, the perfection bought into every dish, the lovely complementaries they serve you the Monday morning you leave goa but want to have a last meal at Lazyday. Being a foodie I would say , in Goa no matter who you are cannot vouch for a place being the best. But Lazyday is writing a beautiful story of its own. And only its patrons know that. Great job guys.

Nice dimly lit open cafe in goa. The ambience is nice, service is good. Staff is friendly and most importantly the food is good too. There is a pool table and a big screen to watch matches. Nice place for hanging out.

Loved the place - ambience, service, and quality of food. I tried once and then Within a stay of 4 days I had to go back thrice to this place. I tried the fish preparations, and desserts only, though people around me enjoyed all they ordered.

Simply wow!!! We had the best time dining here as the atmosphere was justifying the name of the joint, it is the best place if you want to have a good dinner(also veg) and enjoy a game of pool, hang around with friends and family. Every dish we ordered was simply yummmm.... Recommendation Dal Makhani, lacha paratha and Cheese cake...

One of the best dine place near Calangute beach. In 3 days trip we had been twice there. Food is very good with best presentation. Starters seasoning with salads is impressive. Ambience, cleanliness, service are good. Try golden prawn 250rs plate. Roti, parathas are really big. Second time we had lot n at the end they served complementary desert ~pudding n that was also best ever I had.
One best thing in Goa restaurant is all prices are tax inclusive.

Had heard alot about this place from my family and had to give it a try. And I'm so glad I did. A lovely dim lit place, overlooking the road. I went twice in my 15 days stay in Goa.

Tried a variety of dishes from Spicy Chicken Wings, Beef & Macaroni Stew, Honey Pork Roast, Chicken Drumsticks, Chicken Kadai and Chicken Cafreal. The food is really good and I highly recommend the wings and stew.

The service was good and quick as well. Only down was the tandoor was not available, apparently the chef was on leave due to off season.

It was our fourth time visit to Goa; the Rome of the east!!! and till then the little tresures of Cafe Lazydays stay hidden from us. It was just a casual walk down the lane when we discovered the cafe with a perfect old schooldays ambience. Believe me; they serve you the best food in town, be it goanese or continental and even the cocktails. Do try their stir fried meats and even the roasted items. you can even opt for their full english breakfast in the morning with some steamy becan and coffee. five stars falls short in its appreciation. you deserve a seven star..!!!!

“Pull up a chair. Take a taste. Come join us. Life is so endlessly delicious.” :) :)
