Review Kenny's The Breakfast Place - Calangute

A nice breakfast place in North goa, a small cafe with outside sitting. We had a veg sandwich and that was fulfilling and pancakes were fluffy and soft, tastes great with banana and maple syrup. Although coffee you will get regular Nescafe one and I found it little overpriced place.

We were in Goa It was my 1st visit, My friends always use to come,this time one my memories that there is restaurant call Kenny's.. After visiting the place, I am in love with them... Being from same industry I always believe apart from there are lot of things. And this what we getting Owner's are very friendly...I don't feel m in restaurant

Great restaurant with American style breakfast menu. Pancakes with maple syrup is a must try! Great ambience, good staff! Must be in to do list of every Goa trip! 😊

Kenny's is a perfectvway to start your day in Goa. The man himself is the cook and his preparations are just lip smacking. The man and his wife run this place and are very friendly people. We had ordered Pancakes with maple syrup and fresh starwberries along with mushroom omlette and scrambled eggs on toast. I must say i had one of the best scrambled eggs till date. Great chaps and awesome food.

Tell you what. This gotta be the most quaint and peaceful breakfast place in goa period. It's a family run place, not your everyday run of the mill business. The menu is pretty simple and is not huge, but the reception and the service is amazing. The food is pretty good too. The eggs, sausage, pancakes, everything was just worth it. Very authentic.

Amazing breakfast, best I've had whilst being in India, I had the veggie breakfast and my partner had full English, we would highly recommend the food, service & quality. Owners were delightful people who took the time in their busy day to come and say hello and recommend other places for us to visit on our travels

This place is an absolute delight! The breakfast is filling and delicious. The English breakfast is quite a plateful, with large variety. The omelette was wonderful it was perfectly seasoned and cooked served with toast. The pancakes were superb. It's run by a couple who are both very friendly and cooperative.

Visited this place in January 2020 and had one of the best breakfast of my life... The taste, quality and even quantity of the dishes are great... Loved the owner's behaviour towards the customer and they are always ready to take feedback regarding the served food 😍😇

Oh the Pancake heaven! You know after a night of revelry, how desperately you want someone to take care of you on that Hangover invested morning? Kenny does that for you. The place is run by Kenny and his wife and they ensure that they take care of you. Go off the menu and just talk to them and they will pair you the best breakfast in town. But make sure you have at least one pancake platter in your order :)

If you are in Goa near Calangute this is the place to not to be missed. Kenny is one of the best chef in town and they serve awesome breakfast. Kenny's is run by a very hospitable and lovely couple , best breakfast we had in our 5 days stay. Add this to your itenerary and I assure you that you won't regret . Heartwarming experience :)

We had been here to have some breakfast, and I got to say we were completely in for a surprise.<br/>We had 2 of us who were vegetarian and the options were plenty.<br/>The chicken sausages were absolutely beautiful.<br/>The pancakes on top of that, just amazing.<br/>Best breakfast I’ve had.

The large English breakfast we had was delicious, and very filling, but was priced at Rs 570 which was steep.<br/>There are other eateries around the area that offer similar breakfast options, within Rs 400.

Its an overrated and over hyped restaurant. They charge exorbitant prices. You are asked to place the order all at once as they prepare food for each table at once. I think thats a very odd tactic. On a busy day when all the tables are occupied, it would take them at least 30 minutes to serve you something as simple as a coffee. <br/><br/>There is absolutely nothing great about the food. I have had much much better english breakfasts for half of the price these guys charged. <br/><br/>And worst of all, they make a child serve the customers and clear their plates

The food is fine, but not extraordinary, not worth waiting so long for. They take a very long time to prepare the food, and insist on placing all the order at once. So after enduring all that, the pay off with the food was average. Pan cakes were tasty, but too thick and not fluffy. Food is decent, but not awesome.

Had the best breakfast here in Goa. The place is quite decent for friends and family. Staff is friendly and will help you with the menu. Easy on pocket as well.

Kenny’s is a cute little breakfast place near Calangute Beach. One must try pancakes here. Food as well the shakes were decent. It was a little crowded when we went there. Hence, service was a little slow.

After a long time found a place that served great English breakfast. The food was hot and freshly prepared. It’s a small place run by this couple where the lady is very soft spoken and ever smiling. For a home cooked experience please visit.

Just skip all the negative comments under reviews. And hop on to this place if you are near Calangute. They have these amazing pancakes. I tried pancakes with maple syrup. They are worth visiting again and again.

Been to Goa, Been to Kenny's!<br/>The Strawberry Pancakes were good! But In my opinion, rest of the food was nothing special, rather a bit undercooked and bland. There were ants too. Not worth the 1.5 hour drive we made from South Goa!<br/>Also, the owners were not very receptive to criticism, as we witnessed an incident ourself when a guy complained about something, he was denied service and literally sent out of the shop. Customers are NOT treated well here. Not recommended unless you're around and really craving for some pancakes.<br/>Better options and ofcourse better service is available in abundance around!<br/><br/>

Had an amazing time at this place last week.<br/><br/>The softness of the half fried egg, tasting perfectly with the crunch or that freshly medium-done bacon, goes unimaginably well with the sauted mushrooms.<br/>The in-house recipe of the sausage, has a very rare texture, and indeed an rare yet yummy taste. Delicious food. The Veg and Non Veg Club Sandwiches were yummy and filling. BLT Sandwich was exactly as expected. The set breakfast was filling and appealing to the taste buds. Definitely going to visit again!

A small and cozy place which fills up soon after it’s opening time. Thankfully we were amongst the first customers both the times we were here. The service is a bit slow, but very much worth the wait. Tried the bacon and egg sandwich and the ham and cheese sandwich. The pancakes and the filter coffee were also really good.

Kenny's is a small breakfast place run by a lovely couple in Calangute area, serving delicious food.<br/>Me and my friend got to know about this place from zomato and decided to try our luck. Our experience was truly amazing.<br/>▫️▫️▫️▫️<br/>We ordered scrambled eggs, strawberry pancakes, Watermelon juice. The eggs were truly delicious and creamy.<br/>Even the pancakes were so soft and the cut strawberries were a cherry on top.<br/>Even the juice was fresh and refreshing.<br/>▫️▫️▫️▫️<br/>Service is excellent and the couple is so friendly, they even helped us with the local places to visit. The place is as big as a dining room at home. The owner was quite rude. We found two ants in the food we ate. We pointed it out to the owner and the response we got was that she saw an ant when she served, which left us bemused that she served it anyway having already seen it. We found this place near our stay.. An osm friendly place to sit calmly and have breakfast. We ordered ham cheese omlette and pan cake. Both were extremely luscious and succelent. Pricing was a lil on higher side. But must visit place to fulfill your morning craving and start your day with some positivity served with food. The lemon ginger honey tea for also well-done.

Decent place for breakfast. We ordered masala omelette and club sandwich. Both were delicious and well presented. The owner seems sweet couple and they prepare themselves (appears to be). After seeing multiple good reviews visited this place for breakfast. The place basically looks like a dining hall in your house, slightly bigger. When more people come in, it does feel a little congested. The menu is pretty standard for a breakfast place. The food taste also felt homely and it was good. But what I personally felt was that for the amount charged, the food failed to impress. I will re-iterate, the food is tasty, but it just didn't blew my mind off, unlike many other places have.

Visited this place in August based on zomato suggestions and we happened to be the first customers for this season. We consider ourselves lucky that the owners decided to open the restaurant on the very same day. This is a really nice and cosy breakfast place in Calangute. They have a wide variety of breakfast options. Although it is priced on the higher side, you can be assured of quality and taste. The hosts are very kind and hospitable. I would definitely visit Kenny’s next time I’m in goa. (In the pics are - Masala omelette & English breakfast, both served with grilled tomatoes on the side)

We had visited this place today for checking out based on the ratings we saw here. It's situated in a bit odd place so had a little hassle to find it out. Place is very simple good for made to order home cooked meals kind of. We ordered pancakes in chocolate syrup. Must say one of the best we had in a long time. Even the food presentation is very good. We were highly satisfied with the food here.

We ended up in Kenny's after looking at lot of positive reviews on zomato.<br/><br/>And it did not disappoint! The English breakfast was fulfilling but did not quite feel worth 300 RS.<br/><br/>However, the pancakes were out of this world.<br/>I still salivate thinking about it. We ordered a strawberry banana pancake which is well worth its price and simply out of this world delicious.<br/><br/>It is a tiny place in Calangute, hardly fitting 15 ppl at a time. This is a very famous breakfast joint in Calangute.After seeing very good reviews we went there for breakfast on our first day in Goa.We ordered chicken breakfast which includes two chicken sausages,two eggs sunny side up, baked beans and mushrooms, two grilled tomates,two pieces bread(with amul butter) and tea/or coffee.The quantity was sufficient and presentation was good.Now coming to the quality, chicken sausages were very soft and really yummy.Eggs were also perfect.We felt that the tomatoes should have been cooked a little more and coffee could have been a bit thicker.The baked beans were also more on the sweeter side which we didn't like that much.In short the breakfast was good but nothing great. Would surely recommend to try the chicken sausages here.

An excellent place to start your day at. You get a complete breakfast with a variety of items served by the polite owners. Food takes time to get ready, but it's worth the wait. Since there are not many proper breakfast places in the area, this is an ideal place to go to if you're planning a long day ahead

This place has served the BEST BREAKFAST I’ve ever had TILL DATE. I’m not the only one ranting this, I went there with a group of six and they all had the same reaction. <br/>Sausages, pancakes, ham and cheese, omelette, you just name it and they have perfected it. <br/>You just need to be a little patient as good food always takes a bit of time. Ordered Chicken breakfast and pancake with strawberry & chocolate. chicken breakfast had a nice presentation and tasted good. the oancakes too had a great presentatiom but were cold, even though we were told that we had to wait for the pancakes as they were making fresh.

After reading a lot about this place ,went for breakfast today..<br/>We reached Goa early so were there sharp by 8.40 but had to wait till 9.<br/>...Though it says timing from 8.30..so we waited.<br/><br/>A pleasant homely ambience. This place is the go to place for late risers, Its the best hangover cure and is definitely the proper place for breakfast lovers in all of North Goa. A typical Cafe in calangute for a good breakfast. They have a wide variety to serve from.. ranging from a simple sandwich to pancakes and a full fledged American breakfast.<br/>The service is good and even the serving time is quick. You don't have to wait much to get your food. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but definitely worth the quantity and quality of food provided.<br/>They provide amazing 3 egg omelette served with baked beans and friend potatoes, Maple based pancakes and club sandwiches among other things which I personally tried and they were amazing.

A tiny breakfast joint slightly off the main road run by a husband and wife team. This place serves only breakfast, but they are one of the best breakfast places I've visited in Goa. There open till 3 pm, so if you're worried about missing the most important meal of the day, don't. The place has about 8 tables in total and they are renowned for their pancakes, so I had to try them. I ordered the strawberry-banana-maple syrup pancakes and they we delish. I also ordered a ham, cheese and tomato omelette, which was wonderful too. I couldn't get a picture of the omelette because it was devoured before I had time to click. The last item I ordered was a strawberry-honey lassi, but I'm not a fan of it. Nothing bad about it, but I felt the balance of sweet vs sour could be better. Maybe it's just a personal preference.<br/><br/>I'm giving them 4.5 overall as the place is clean, service is reasonably fast and food is absolutely delicious.

You drink you get wasted and then you wake up wanting some soul food.<br/><br/>This little joint does not do justice to the most amazing breakfast they serve. Recommended by one of my friends , we visited this place for breakfast. Its a small place. We ordered for banana and strawberry pancakes stack and veggie breakfast wich included eggs 🥚( well done) stir fried mushrooms 🍄 baked bean grilled tomatoes fried potatoes two slices of bread and tea or coffee . Both are breakfast dishes were beautifully presented and they were equally delicious and satisfying. The service is a little slow cuz i think they dun have alott of staff. But dats ok cuz the food was worth waiting.

The reviews we had heard for the place, I was almost expecting a giant fluffy cheesy wonderful omelette .. but it was a normal size omelette with grilled tomato and bread n butter.. it wasn't outstanding.. <br/>The sandwich was good.. but then at that price, i have had better sandwiches at similar places.. so again nothing outstanding... The Tetley tea was nice..<br/>Maybe if you are craving for some normal breakfast in Goa, this is the place to go to...

My sisters and I had the most amazing food at Kenny’s perfect portions and taste. We ordered 2 chicken brekafasts and 2 small and both were simply amazing.<br/>Finished with the strawberry banana pancakes with chocolate syrup that we finished in under a minute. Must visit!

Well me and my friends had breakfast here on our very first morning in Goa. The ambience was good. It's a rather small place but the vibes are good. We ordered the chicken breakfast which was worth the money. The ginger lemon honey tea was an added surprise. Would love to visit again.

First day in goa and we decided to visit this place for breakfast after looking at many places on zomato. And we are glad we came across this! We had Large english breakfast which was a plate of perfect sunny side up egg, sausages, beans, mushrooma and tomatoes along with bread butter and coffee. Worth the price and a must visit place.

If you are in Goa and want to have genuine American breakfast, this is the place to be. The excellent service by the couple running this place is a cherry on top. Pancakes with fresh strawberries and maple syrup are a must try, they are the best among all the good dishes served here.

Amazing food, wide variety, great service and very friendly host, it is close to the road, parking is not a problem. This is a place I will visit every time I am in Goa.

This cute little place is hidden in the locales of Calangute. On our weekend getaway to Goa, me and my friends visited it for breakfast and were blown away with the food!<br/><br/>The Good: The food is absolutely amazing! The hosts are amiable and we had a peaceful yummy meal. The Strawberry juice was heavenly and one of the best I had ever had. The French Toast just melted in the mouth and was a winner. <br/><br/>The Bad: The prices are on the higher side. But every penny was worth it. While searching this small place is a problem , it makes up for it via the good breakfast provided. Managed by a local family , the service is courteous and friendly . The Menu though not exhaustive , it does serve out simple breakfast at pocket friendy rates<br/><br/>Overall worth a visit

One fine morning, 2 of our friends in their quest of looking for breakfast/food found this blessing called "Kenny's Breakfast Place".<br/>And today we're here (again) eating everything I see on the table. This place is run by a couple Edna and Kenny and they're as sweet as sugar.<br/>The food is awesome and I give a thumbs up to almost everything on the menu.<br/>Recommendations:<br/>Scrambled eggs<br/>Bacon and Mushroom Omlette<br/>Large English Breakfast<br/>Potato Skins with Bacon and Cheese<br/>All the pancakes!!!!<br/>Moderately priced is this place.

This place is absolute bliss! Very small though , it serves the best food we had in Goa. After a rough night , visited this place for breakfast and was blown away by the food. We had their pan cakes , few shakes , their toasts and many more. Everything served was brilliant. Pan cakes here are a must try and they're amazing. A very nice, family run place. Don't expect a fancy place, I nearly missed it the first time. However, the food is amazing. Pancakes are to die for, the omelettes and scrambled eggs delicious. The owner is very friendly and also speaks some German!<br/>Very good place to start your day with a good breakfast!

Amazing breakfast place in the hood! Enjoyed the continental breakfast option. Run by just the husband and wife the service was quick the taste was great. The pancakes lived up to my expectations as published online! Loved everything about this place. Would love to see some Goan options on the menu!

Stopped at Kennys for a snack. Ordered the pancakes with Maple syrup and a cup of Tea. Both were tasty. The service is fast enough and it's a good place to have English breakfast in Calungate.

My friend was talking about this place since we came to Goa. And the next morning we were there to have a cup of tea. The place is small and run by local people. You can find such places in Goa run by local and serving good food.<br/><br/>Its good to see people serving delicious food from the home itself. We ordered coffee which was good. The quality, as well as the quantity both, were good. I wanted to try some pancakes too but none of my friends was interested in doing the English breakfast.<br/><br/>Its a nice small place serving English breakfast. So the people loves to eat English breakfast can go and enjoy the meal. Rates were little on the higher side. Didn't have the menu on Zomato, so didn't know what they serve.

A decently popular place in North Goa for breakfast in Calangute. <br/>We had cold coffee and pan cakes. <br/>Pan cakes were delicious and cold coffee was average as compared to other options in Goa. Its a small quiet cosy place to sit and grab a quick breakfast. Not ideal for large groups.

Kennys is located In a small lane in Calangut and is a real find. <br/>I ordered some american breakfast and teh quality of food was as good as that of some five star hotel.<br/>Now this place doesnt have a good ambience nor a view still people come here dor some good food.

Goa is such beautiful place to be but managed by some non indians. I don't understand why an Indian doesn't respect another indian. I am sure the same doesn't happen in Russia or any other British colonies. It happened to be cozy place where I had ordered for fruit bowl & tea for my kid and large breakfast for myself. Just after 10 mins of we placing an order a semi clad male foreigner entered this place and ordered for veggie breakfast. within 3 mins 40 secs Mrs Edna Mascarenhas served him hot tea with steaming hot sunny side egg and the veggies leaving me and my hungry kiddo behind with not even a glass of water on the table. When asked why the delay her answer was simple, it takes time.. I guess then it should have taken more time for veggie breakfast. Is it that they want only the foreigners to be served.Not sure why Mr.Kenny want to be still a slave of any foreign national but denial in serving indian irrespective been bought up on indian soil and earning on it. Anyways After around 21 mins, and after couple of reminders Mrs. Mascarenhas served us with frozen fruits which was stale and my large breakfast. Beacon was half cooked and so was the potato wedges. Not sure that the above messages are uploaded just to gain popularity or so, as this place has been crowded by foreign nationals and indians are not been entertained. Would request everyone to go on their own risk.

Enjoyed a tasty English breakfast here! The host was very polite and hospitable. It is always a pleasure to visit a place where there are friendly people around! :)

Goa has such nice and amazing places ...hidden somewhere...run by Goans .. <br/>Discovered one such place called Kenny's, a small little place but it serves such amazing home made English breakfast, tea, coffee, juices and more.. run by a Goan couple Kenny n Edna ...<br/><br/>We love such places .... we had bacon, sausages, sunny side up, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, toast, sandwiches, fresh fruits, filter coffee and freshly squeezed juice....each n every item was perfect in taste n looks. Very reasonably priced too.<br/><br/>And last but not the least... Pancakes with strawberry banana and chocolate sauce were heavenly :)
