If you are looking for a good coffee/chocolate cafe, this one is for you. The chocolate room will not disappoint you. Signature cold coffee 5/5: Absolutely smashed it. A little on the sweeter side, but that's how I like it! Paneer Sandwich 5/5: Paneer was soft and yummy, you will love the sandwich along with a nice cup of coffee or chocolate shake, you won't realise how quickly time can pass by. Music 4/5: Awesome cafe music, a 90's kid would love the tunes. Cost 3/5: It is slightly on the expensive side and probably can reduce the price down, but the quality which they are offering is justifiable to a point. service 4/5: Staff is polite and helpful. They will help you out with the things you want to order and suggest you according to your needs. Food may take some time to arrive, but please note that they are making it fresh. Hence, it may take moe than usual to serve your order, dont come if you're in a hurry.

The Chocolate room is one of my favorite café serving rich delicious chocolate cakes/truffles/sundaes/hot chocolate etc. So the food is very good as always. It's located on the busy stretch towards the Baga beach. Seating options are available for a large number of guests. Parking is limited. The service needs improvement as they took their own sweet time to get us the sizzling brownie even though the customers were meager at that time of night.

The best mountain brownie I every had its actually huge and feel heavy with lots of chocolate sauce😋 It's like you explore Goa the whole day, and if you are done with your lunch or dinner, come to this place and have a yummy brownie with your loved one. Well ! Yummy tasty and with lots of options! We went there specially for deserts around 12 am midnight and I had no clue that I’ll be getting confused what to order by looking at so many tempting options they have it. I’m sure all the deserts must be yummy the way they have given description about each deserts and dish at the bottom. Ambience is good, family and young crowd, service is good and offcourse I had the yummiest desert. Will surely visit again to try out new deserts. Best part is this Place is open till 2 am! We tried Fondue and it was super delicious Even Capuccino with extra Espresso shots was like perfect… Adnan did a great service by suggesting it perfectly… A must visit for all chocolate lovers

Had the Chocolate Bomb. <br/>It is a chocolate ball on which warm chocolate sauce is poured to reveal vanilla ice cream on a bed of chocolate brownie, with 2 wafer sticks.<br/>The chocolate quality was excellent, and the brownie inside was chunky and so gooey. And it is quite big, enough to satiate 2-3 people. The most amazing part is that it only costs INR 249!!!<br/>Yeah! That's right! It's that cheap!<br/><br/>And the best part is that it came with a pot of chocolate sauce which was thick and creamy and after it has been poured over the ball, u can just tuck into that extra sauce left in the bottom!<br/>Highly recommended.

Quite an average place for the price. Chocolate was sugary sweet rather than an authentic flavour. The staff seemed uninterested.

Chocolate room Calangute is the first chocolate room in goa. It's a small place with limited seating capacity located right opposite Mcdonalds. Had visited the place a long time ago. It was my first encounter with the chocolate room franchise and it lived up to all my expectations. Had ordered a chocolate pizza, pancake and avalanche everything was amazing. Parking might be a problem in the vicinity because it is located in one of the busy streets of calangute

This place is simply not upto the mark. The desserts are unbalanced and it feels like something that should be covered inside a pair a smelly pants.

Just a few minutes back, i bought a hot cup of dark chocolate. Worst service ever. The lid was not properly closed and the cup was also damaged. The guy was least concerned about its customers. The management should train its staff to attend their customers properly.

The chocolate room brownie sundae has my heart. The warmth of brownie and hot chocolate sauce with vanilla and nuts melting in my mouth was like the best of both worlds. My sweet craving post few beer made me visit this place just right beside infantaria. I did nt scan much thorugh the menu and settled for a death by chocolate pancake. Trust me it was, is and will be the best pan cake dessert for the rest of my life. Everything was perfect, the pancake was soft the chocolate syrup was oozing out, the icecream tasted great , everything went really good with each other. Absolutely on point.

Went for some evening snacks there. Had the chocolate excess pastry which was very smooth and chocolaty. Also tried the hazelnut chocolate pastry which had the flavors intact. The strawberry ice tea was refreshing.

Presentation wise it was a big hit but when it came down to taste it was a complete miss.<br/><br/>We ordered the mocha frappe and the torrocino shake, according to the description what was supposed to have an ice cream topping didn't while the other one did. The torrocino is supposed to be an almond based drink, which tasted like cockroaches. As much as I would like to say that this is a nice place, other than the ambience and presentation there is nothing to it. Very disappointed😌

I was encouraged to visit this place on 15 August 2016 by one of my colleagues at office with whom I planned a Goa trip. I simply loved the hyped Choco Lava Lava. It lived completely to the hype and it simply gave me enough chocolate feasting experience that I could ask for. Hospitality was good. I have not given five stars as there was some delay in preparing our orders probably due to the weekend rush.

My 8days visit to goa i visited this place almost everyday. I have tried the brownies with vanilla ice cream addition with nuts and hot melted chocolate. It was simply amazing. <br/>Tried chocolate pan cakes too.<br/>But the brownies takes me back there all the time. <br/>The staff was quite generous and polite.<br/>Will visit again if i return back to goa.<br/>Recommend to everyone to visit this place just to take a tiny break from your diet😜

Nice pastries and desserts. Very good for us vegetarians (eggless) as most of their cakes and desserts are eggless. We had the chocolate excess pastry and a mint hot chocolate. Both of these were yummy. Their sundaes also looked very tempting. Would highly recommend.

I bought choclate - brown and white. White chocolate was not so good. But brown choclate was good. You can try once if you are in Goa. However there are other outlets too in other cities.

This by far was the most value for money we got in GOA. We ordered a single serve waffle which was accompanied with a huge sccop of vanila ice cream chocolate shot,drixzled chocolate and choco chips. It was tasty two people can easily eat from one dish.

Disappointing to say the least. 6 of us ordered 6 portions of different dishes and not one was upto the mark. If you serve reheated crepes, I'd rather you take it off the menu. Served a different item after waiting for 45 mins and then tried to bluff their way out of it. <br/>The raw materials used are really substandard - especially the ice cream. <br/>My advice - please avoid.

Took ages to grill a sandwich cos. they grill sandwich in a blast furnace. And then the restaurant manager teaches me the grilling process. Have to say that these guys are frigging genius

This virgin mojito is the worst in the world. It feels like it's made with only sugar syrup, with basil added to it. And it doesn't seem like they've squeezed the lemons. Furthermore it tastes like Colgate. Please do not order anything rather than the chocolate items.

It is one of the overrated place in Goa. We ordered one cappuccino, one mocha milkshake and love shaped chocolates. The cappuccino was regular, Mocha milkshake disappointed me.. Chocolates were good and rich. I have also gifted almond chocolate to a friend and review was very good. Chocolates were rich and roasted nuts added extra value to it. This place is mainly known for chocolate desserts. So our choice of orders were not exact. So next time if I visit this place I will only go for chocolates.

During our stay in Goa we visited this place for breakfast. This place is situated at Calangute. We ordered three kinds of sandwiches which was really good (spclly tuna sandwich) and some green tea. Food quality was good and the sitting area was calm and comfortable. Also their service was good .

Tried this place with multiple orders. Ambience is very good and remain opens till late. Also the place has good sitting dine in, with a wide menu to choose food options from. The order placed are very good and served in quick time.

Caesar salad - 7/10 ( Paneer/Bread crumbs were wayyy toooo oily)<br/><br/>2. Garlic bread - 9/10<br/>No plate provided and yes, we were denied plates for Garlic bread.. Plates provided on on insisting<br/><br/>And suddenly the bill appears.. we did not even ask for it.. informed them we were planning to order more..<br/>And when we were done and asked for the bill.. i was sarcastically asked with that weird n wicked smile 'u asked fr bill, right?'<br/><br/>3. Superb choices of chocolate drinks and shakes, Great food.<br/>Go for their Combos which is worth it, we went there twice and both the time ordered the Combo ( Cottage cheese Panino is just amazing) If u are a hardcore chocolate lover go for their Chocolate Mouse and Chocolate pudding it's truly sinful..

Major disappointment. The only good thing about this place is the comfortable seating. Service is ok.<br/>The shakes have too much whipped cream .. I thought I was having a tasteless cake icing with bits of brownie... This was the better shake .. because the black forest shake was worse!!!<br/>Tuna sandwich was actually an onion capsicum mayo sandwich...<br/>The french fries were loaded with chaat masala.. not what I wanted... I had to rub off the masala before eating it!! And it came on a deceptive contraption.. fries stacked on top of a roti basket that was covered with foil, giving you a feeling that there is a whole basket of fries, but there are actually not more than 20 pieces of various sizes!<br/>The barbecue chicken pizza was a pizza with bits of chicken drowned in proprietary barbecue sauce, topped with cheese ... It was so bad that we tried to give it to stray dogs.. n even they couldn't have it!! <br/>Dont know what the 4.0 rating is for!!

Woah - that's how u feel at this place. What a variety for chocolate lovers. Was given the best recommendations by the staff there and they personally assured that we like what we eat. The death by chocolate pancakes and the waffles were super delicious. I did try waffles at many places but this place is one of the best. Loved the setting and the presentation of the food. Quite a treat to be here! A must visit!

Very bad service the staff was rude , as we came by 1:45 am they were almost closing. But we had informed before reaching , after the ordet was placed the staff were talking bad behind our back "if they we're locals so what , we can't serve like this its bullshit" they served with very bad heart . honestly the waffles we're hard and I had to leave it right there. Excellent dessert place in Calangute. <br/>Chocolate excess was the highlight for me.<br/>Waffle with Nutella was also fabulous.<br/>Only thing which didn't suit the atmosphere/ambience was the Karaoke being played.<br/> Rest all was spot on!!!

TCR's special shake was really thick and was a delight to the sweet tooth, though it was mentioned in the menu that we could select any pastry available, they only provided the option of a chocolate pastry.<br/><br/>The place was well furnished and was delightful to eat at. The waitress who served us was just a trainee and didn't know much about the menu..

A small joint in front of the mcdonalds, we tried sizzling brownie with ice-cream, a bite from ice-cream, brownie and the chocolate sauce is equivalent to beethoven's symphony. Must try for desserts in calungute.

Right opposite to Mac Donalds and close to the Calangute beach, this small place offers a variety of chocolate products. The chocolate mess had a brownie as it's base and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the top and whipped cream with banana and chocolate sauce drizzled all over it. It was simply too good . The virgin Pina colada was also good. The orange slushy lacked the punch of orange taste in it. Overall it was a great experience.

After searching a few options n finding none of food delivery apps working in Goa, this place came to the rescue. I was pleasantly surprised to see such high reviews in Zomato for this place, so went there expecting excellent deserts. I am shocked at the quality of the food. The muffins were hard enough to break my tooth and the chocolate brownie Sunday was average at best. There is some construction going on there nowz so was very noisybas well. The only good thing was that the desert was cheap. <br/><br/><br/>I wouldnt recommend this to anyone with good taste for deserts. It's ok for college kids who have probably had only cakes in college canteen.

If chocolate is your life then do visit this place. All their chocolate stuff is quite good.<br/>I also liked their brownies.<br/>Pricing is reasonable for what they offer.

Really cool place .. everything is so delicious pocket friendly ordered chocolate pancake it was quite delicious but lill dense for me but still was tasty . Worth a try

Starting with ambience, its quite fine. We ordered a dutch truffle cake shake, one muggucuino and chicken creamy pasta. Must say that the service was prompt. The shake is a handful and so was the pasta. I remember struggling to finish both up! No hassles in the billing either. Good place for a midnight chocolate craving. Ajay Pradeep

The calangute branch is very good but not the panjim one , we waited for our order to come and after waiting for half an hour ,we asked where is our order the guy tells us that ,the things we orders are not available, who was going to inform  us that and when ?. the people working  there were not  people friendly  and the place is  unhygienic as we spotted cockroach!

We Were just passing by this place to go to cafe coffe day and we seen this place and just taught to give it a try but the place is good nice environment good service and the best part is the kitkat shake and oreo cookie shake and the country road chicken sandwich they all were awsome and the best good in taste and in looks its a must try place we will visit again thanks a lot keep up the good work.

A great place to simply indulge in chocolatey delights. Among the items which we had ordered, i totally loved the kaapi nirvana and the chocolate pancakes. They both compliment each other very well. When it comes to their pasta and Chocolate Fondue, it's a big thumbs down from me. The chocolate fondue was way too sweet that we felt like not having chocolate for the next two months. Overall, a good place to try when you are craving for chocolates. NOTE: Their calangute branch is great. DO NOT go to their panjim branch. It is very unhygienic. We spotted two cockroaches in the seating area.

Chocolate avalanche, mixture of chocolate , brownie n more.quantity is good for two, I have a permanent sweet tooth so I enjoyed eating this.must try!

chocolate avanlanche was yummy, chocolate pancake with maple syrup was delicious,corn chilli cheese toast was too good, enjoyed all the dishes,overall very yummy and delicious dishes.will vist ones again ....

Situated near Infantaria next to the Calangute- Baga Junction, the Chocolate Room is a chocolate treat for a dessert lover. The place has a cool vibe of a cafe - sofas with wooden tables adds to the charm of this place. We ordered Mt. Chocolate- three pieces of Chocolate brownies dunked in chocolate sauce with a scoop of Vanilla Icecream garnished with almond slivers. This dish was drool worthy and we finished it very quickly. The service is quick, the staff was courteous. So the next time you want to indulge in a dessert binge or cheat on your diet, try the Chocolate Room.. I hope they come up with freakshakes too 😍😍

What better place to go when you're craving for chocolate? The Chocolate Room is undoubtedly the best when it comes to its desserts! My personal favourite are the pizzas and the death by chocolate pancakes.. The ambience is above average.. and the only thing that it a thumbs down is the location. The chocolate room is located on one of the most busiest roads in Goa which makes enjoying your food in sheer bliss almost impossible.. Try the place out and I'm sure you won't be disappointed..

We know that Goa is mostly about beaches, beer and party... this was the first time ever the Foodpeckers found a Room for desserts full of nothing but CHOCOLATE!!<br/><br/>In the heart of Calangute market, you just cannot miss this ever alluring treasure of desserts. Once you enter here, you would actually want to get locked in this room forever.<br/><br/>Our first order was Choco Lava Lava which is the bestest. Its all about a heart shaped brownie drenched in hot chocolate sauce combined with scoops of vanilla ice cream. The brownie is something one can really die for... so much so that in all our 3 consecutive visits we ordered this all the time.<br/><br/>Our next best was the Death by Chocolate Pan Cake - perfectly soft & crunchy wrapped in a consistent layer of insanely yummy chocolate <br/><br/>We also soaked ourselves in the Chocolate Avalanche which is a pool full of variety of chocolate ice cream scoops topped with almonds & chocolate sauce.<br/><br/>Last but not the least, we tried the Estimo Waffles which was the only average one as something went wrong with the waffle dough.<br/><br/>But this does not affect our love for this place. Expensive but worth it.<br/>Had some shakes and sandwiches.. felt like I died and went to heaven.<br/>Go there with lot of people though since they have sofa like seating instead of individual chairs so its kinda awkward sitting there with your gf and when all tables are occupied and then some group comes weirdly stare at you waiting for you to leave so they can sit.<br/>Its weird sitting arrangement. There's also another restaurant just adjacent to chocolate room and its confusing for first time to know which is chocolate room and dominics.

We were on our way to Baga beach for dinner and right on the edge of the main road was 'The chocolate room' cafe. Just because of the name we decided to have deserts from here on our way back. The location is perfect but it is a hastle to find a perfect parking spot if you are coming by car.<br/><br/>Their menu was big and has wide variety of deserts and drinks to choose from. They also have main dishes such as pizza and pasta which is common among most of the restaurants in goa.<br/><br/>Not sure is it because we were there for late night desert, the cakes and chocolates displayed were not at all tempting and looks somewhat days old.<br/><br/>So our order for the day was chocolate pizza and hot tiramisu coffee. The coffee was tasty with good and smooth flavour of tiramisu cake, but we were disappointed with chocolate pizza. I would suggest to add more fruits on top of the pizza chocolate to give it more flavour rather than just plain cookies and chocolates with nuts. The prices are slightly on the higher side comparing to the portion they serve. Might want to try their other deserts before recommending them.

Yes they deserve 5 star rating according to me and i feel others may also agree to me who have visited this place. One of the finest chocolate cafe you will find in North side. Variety of menu options of not only chocolates but other items likes pizza, pasta. Seating on top and ground its comfortable and spacious enough, small leaning backward soft cushion chairs are very comfortable. Counter service is also fantastic and i feel the quantity is decent. A must try!!!
