Decent food, at VERY budget prices. Great service. And a friendly atmosphere...filled with locals and tourists, alike. 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food was great. Prawns fry was amazing, big prawns and perfectly cooked. French fries were sawgy, but they were generous to bring us other dish which was well done. They serve beers as well. Do try the Goan Serradura desert. Would definitely recommend for sea food lovers.

EXCELLENT! Goa local food at it's best! Beers available and the crowds of patrons arriving speaks for itself... Just too good, a must visit stop for the foodies who are looking for local. Ordered some fish thali with a side of prawns..yum!

If anyone wants authentic goan food near calangute beach then you can try this hotel. They serve delicious thalis fish and veg thalis. We tried bangada and veg thali here and was really good. The price is also reasonable and there is ample space for seating. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Budget friendly restaurant situated in the prime area between candolim and Calangute. The place is always crowded and sometimes we have to wait for a table. Food is awesome. Prawns masala was good with a good quantity of prawns. Local fish thali is also tasty compared to exotic fishes which are expensive.

Good food at reasonable prices. Don’t expect 5* service. Normal restaurant. More hygiene required to maintain.

Recommended picks for Sea food if you are around Candolim. I visited here twice during my Goa visit. Price is reasonable compared to cafes around. Had ordered Crab which was delicious. However , pomfret which we ordered later wasn't that up to the mark. Would Recommend visiting here if you are staying around Candolim, Baga or Calangute area and you are looking for authentic goan food.

In Goa, the best seafood is Sau Prasad Restaurant . Must try amazing crabs. The best rawa fry promfret loaded with masala from the inside out. greatest rawa fry bombay duck. amazing, mouthwatering prawns in red masala. Very very reasonable. A lover of seafood's paradise

Visited this restaurant during my trip to Goa. The name suggests it’s a vegetarian restaurant but it isn’t. Went on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and it was super busy. We almost had to wait for an hour to get a table. Shows how famous this restaurant is. An authentic restaurant serving varieties of Goan fish delicacies. We ordered a Goan Kingfish Thali, Goan Chonak Thali and a Prwan Rawa fry. The thalis were great. Came along with some curries, salad, Papad and good amount of rice with a large piece of fish fry. Everything tasted delicious. The Prwan Rawa fry was also amazing. Prompt service and prices are pretty reasonable. Food quality and quantity is great too. Will definitely recommend everyone to visit if you’re staying near Calangute beach.

Pocket friendly place to fill your tummy, been here with my colleagues and since they are avid seafood lovers they ordered loads of fish varieties and it looked awesome as well as tasted too according to them. Ambience is like a dhaba on a highway but food is what brings you back to this place again and again.

A place which will definitely satisfy u at lunch time.. special for their thalis.. everything looks home made.. even the water which is served is like at home.. small place with AC and non AC sections.. bit difficult to find.. but one of the places to be in Bicholim.. kingfish thali and limbu soda is recommended...
Theirs tisryanche tondak and prawn's kismoor are mouth watering
And we got free ice cream too... Yey

Small joint. Haven't tried much food here but yes samosa and Limbu soda as we call it is a must try. In a place where there are hardly many top end restaurants. This small eatery makes way to my stomach just with the Limbu soda. Yet to be explored cuz of the many reviews I got from my hubby.

Annapurna Bhojanalaya
As the name suggests is truly Annapurna. The place is quite small with Ac and Non ac sections available.
The menu is subject to availability of fish so the fish thali is subject to change as per availability. The veg thali contains a whole lot of items in smaller quantities. Just like your Maharaja Bhog in Mumbai but in Goan style. Major Fish items are been fried with rawa to acquire that goan taste even the potato is been fried the same way. The veg meal contains Rice, Dal, Dahi, Aamti, Sol kadi, Potato fried, Mirchi Bhaji, Some vegetable and koshimbir, kairi and Papad.
While the non veg menu contains Rice, fish curry, aamti, sol kadi, Fish for the day( fried), Kairi, koshimbir, vegetable and papad.

The vanilla ice cream is complimentary for every thali.
The service is slow. If you order at 12.30 pm it will be served at 12.50 pm. But patience is what worth it. You will be completely satisfied with the quality & quantity of the food.
It's away from the bus stand but accessible via a car or scooter.

Total value for money is my final word. If prawns are the fish for the day then it taste's like best prawn meal thali ever.
