Review Jerrys Place Bar And Restaurant - Calangute

Good bar with resturent. Good for groups and friends not for family. Bar is very neat and clean. Resonalbe price. All brand costly liquors are available here. Seafood I'll be very nice in this restaurant especially sea prawns and king prawns. Taste is too good. Staff's were very friendly and responsive. Located very close to Calangute beach. Very busy bar in day time. Only bad thing owner was too rude. Owner never speak gently with anyone but all other waiter's who work here treat the customers very friendly. Clearly visible from road. There is no parking at all since it located in Calangute beach road. Overall one of the best bar resturent around this area.

This place is near the beach and has good food which as you can see from the pics justify the crowd around this place. We tried an early lunch here and the food was typical dhaba style with lots of masala and oil be prepared for that if you are looking for stylish food with ambiance this may not the place for you but if taste is what you are after, there are not many places which can beat this place.

My visit to my favourite bar in Calangute was cancelled due to the Covid-19 situation and subsequent travel restrictions. Jerry's Place is a must visit location. If Jerry is still there he and his family always make you welcome and food and drinks are great value and worth seeking out. This is a great bar for people watching and although it gets very busy and can be affected by the street noise, it has always been my favourite bar at the beach end of Calangute. If anyone reading this knows if Jerry is still there, could you let him know that Bob the Builder was asking after him.

This is my must visit place whenever i visit north goa. I just visit this place for its local and rustic ambience and specially jerry uncle who is the owner himself managing this place from decades.  This place is very lay back. I always order a Beer here and gaze the calangute street which is quite dramatic. Had BroCode beer here which has 14% alcohol in it. It's quite strong.

Stayed here in the winter of 2007, comfy little place, had some deviled eggs for dinner, since the kitchen was closed by the time we got there.<br/><br/>Extreme proximity to the Calangute beach.<br/><br/>Good for coming with friends perhaps.<br/><br/>Family?..err..maybe.<br/><br/>Update: Lots of old people with drinks here by midnight.

<br/>Jerry's place may not be right next to the beach. But it more than makes up for it in 'sussegad'. The place exudes that mom n pop's restuarant/bar simplistic style that Goa is slowly losing. The drinks and food are pretty well priced considering where it is located and portions a pretty generous and taste pretty decent. Come here if you just want to eat and drink with buddies after you've had your fill of walking along calangute beach.

We were more than a dozen people just wandering around in search of food and found this place where we could find the seats for all. Since it was not our choice of place our expectation was very low judging by it's looks. But we found it great. Huge portions of all the food they served. There was a pile of prawns on the plate and we loved it. The food was very tasty, beer very cheap and service curtious.
