Authentic Goan food experience at a very very reasonable cost. This was our first dining experience on our Goa trip last November. The rawa fried prawns were simply amazing. We also had the pomfret thali, bangda fry, lep rawa fry, crabs. All the dishes were excellent. The ambience is bar like but we were a big family and didn't feel uncomfortable as such. Prices are really reasonable too.

K for Kafreal, a local bar and restaurant(Previously - Rainbow Bar) you should not miss at Dr Jack Sequeira junction in Calangute. Small, cozy, clean and a perfectly priced menu. I visit often for a drink or two and a takeaway. My favorites are their Fish thali, be it King fish or Mackerel always fresh.

OMG. Trust me the dishes were amazingly sexy and mind blowing. So yummy.

Loved the old world decor. The bhangda thali (Rs 150, Apr23) was absolute value for money. Food flavour was the real deal - without messing around with traditional flavours. Totally recommended.
