Review Bending Bamboo - Candolim

We were looking for a place for drinks and food with friends and family. We were staying at Radisson down the street and wanted to explore out. Came across this and decided to try. Didn't disappoint us. Set in a busy market location but once inside you have a feeling of open sports bar kind in a garden. Have a wide spread of food and drink menu. We tried several local and imported beers which were served chilled. Also tried standard spirits and some appetizers. For dinner we ordered entries Veg Jlfrezi, Palak paneer, Prawns curry rice. Jalfrezi was excellent, Palak paneer cubes were sour. Couldn't eat those. Curry was okay too not something to rev about. Garlic Naan and Buttered Roti Breads were excellent. Conclusion, good place to spend time with friends and family over drinks and appetizers. For food you might get kucky. Service was excellent.

Great Food, Easy and Relaxed setting. Service 👌! And to add to the above, easy listening music. Entres and Main Course were spot on that we ordered. I would say a no fail option if you are looking for a place to eat.

They are most delicious and amazing food and bars in Candolim. Amazing atmosphere and price is also good in comparison with other bars and restaurants in Candolim. I got kingfisher in 100 bucks which is the most lowest price in Candolim as far as i know yes food menu is little expensive but it’s delicious. They are in main road if you’re coming from calangute beach it will be on your left side. Two wheeler parking available free of coat depending on availability no four wheeler parking. Amazing live music

Visited this place with my family. This place is slightly away from main Candolim street, hence is it peaceful. I liked their ambience. Taste is awesome too. Prices are reasonable. Waiters there really good. They help you in choosing menu suitable to ur taste & they also take your feedback about the taste of the food you ordered.

The food was simply delicious! Quantities are crazy good! However, the pricing is a bit steep. But overall, great experience! 👌🤗

“DELICIOUS dinner! I ordered the chicken steak,mash potato, chicken 65 and chicken fried rice. All were absolutely delicious. Sahil, our server, was super attentive, on top of it and funny.He made the experience perfect. He brought out the food all at the same time and brought us anything we asked for. Bending Bamboos is a very decent place to have all multi cuisine. It is located in Candolim and a nice cozy place with good ambience. The speciality of this place is its food. The food is totally value for money. They have right from Chinese, Indian to Goan and Continental cuisine. We had veg Manchow soup that was very tasty and full of flavors. Had hot chilli chicken with chilled Kingfisher premium pint. In main dish we had Veg Xacuti and rice, Chicken Lababdar with butter naan. The main dishes were specially amazing. The service is too good and the staff is very friendly. I'll suggest whenever u r in Candolim please visit this place and experience it yourself.

Food was very nice, service too. Coming to atmosphere,all around there was live music except this one and we are looking for one of a kind as we r having kids. Prawn and steak was lip smacking.

Sea food platter was pretty nice with price and Cabo was quiet memorable to finish the craft of the meal.

Cool ambience and excellent food.. a place I feel many miss out without actually coming to. Anyone visiting the restaurant would be pleasantly surprised with food served. A truly under rated dining place in candolim among many more famous restaurants. A must visit to actually try out their food.

Lovely food, n attentive waiters .Just don't get a taxi outside as it charged my friend twice the going rate!!! Obviously not the restaurants fault, but just a heads up !!

Awesome food with a nice twist. Best crispy chicken.. really crispy just like the word 'crispy' describes.... french fries in a steak are original and not from any frozen packet.. must visit restaurant.. friendly and very nice staff..

One of my Favourite for Goan starters especially their golden fried Prawns.. Good Service and Friendly Staff, Ambience is bit off during the off season but Great during the Peak.

Another favorite restaurant of mine in candolim. Used to visit this place decade ago and nothing has changed, the ambience, the people still the same. We went to this place to relive our memories once again. The place was packed as usual with mostly foreigners. Coming back to the food, we tried stuffed mushrooms, pork gravy (forgot the name) chilli beef and some butter Naan. We enjoyed the food and service was impressive. Very warmth and welcoming staffs. Will go back for sure next time!

I came here before when it was off season. Didn’t feel so lively.<br/><br/>Went in December and I loved it! The food was top notch as was the service! Pankaj the server was the man! He seemed like the guy keeping the place alive! Good lad! He was awesome but good going by all!<br/><br/>I tried Junglee Gosht (went back to eat it again) which was simply mouth watering as was the Fish Ambotik. So I am surely returning back!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Please don’t visit this place. They served us Blenders instead of Teachers. When we complained they did not agree. The pork chops were so hard that we were unable to eat it. Worst possible food.

Its been a long time since i gave an in between review. Its has its own reasons. I was dining alone, so just ordered a prawn biryani...the Chef missed a point here, for over cooked prawns, the rice and masalas were nice, service was good, and ambience was cool...but over cooked prawns!!!

Nothing much to comment about this place. While they were under work and renovation work was still on. They still served us- this was a definitely a pull for my family, staff are courteous and friendly and always on toes to serve you. <br/>Music ambiance and dim lights and especially the bar counter is something one would like to have a picture with. <br/>Must try everything and especially the mushrooms delicacies. North India foods are very well presented.

We were a group of 15 hungry friends looking for a place that serves good food and has good music to go with it. BB was the answer ...lip smacking food both Indian & Continental as well as foot tapping Bollywood music to go with it...The hit of the night was Onion Rings, Dal Khichdi & Chicken dishes...Stay away from their pork dishes as it isn't much to have about..But everything else is really good..I would recommend this place if you're in Candolim..

One of the worst restaurant I have seen. The waiters here attacked and hit me, not just misbehaved with my girlfriend and me . Worst staff behavior.. Avoid this restaurant if you also don't want to be shocked by the worst goon like staffs here. I was carrying my camera and they started beating me for shooting with my camera there when I told them camera is switched off. No other waiter helped me and there was no manager.<br/><br/>Staff members here are hooligans. I was about to file police complaint against one waiter here who struck me so hard on my chest that it kept paining for two days and even misbehaved with my girlfriend.

This place is a hidden Gem, not much people know about Bending bamboos but I loved this place. <br/>The food, the service, the ambience and the interiors of this place aren't less than any overrated restaurant.<br/>Talking about the food everything I tried was amazing and i mean it.<br/>first we ordered Prawns Wrapped in Bacon which is something new and delectable, the prawn is wrapped inside a slice of bacon and the taste of prawns combined with bacon is altogether a beautiful combination and experience. <br/>Then we ordered fish and chips, the fish was perfectly fried with a side of sauces and fries.<br/>The carbonara seafood pasta and the arabiata veg pasta were also deliciously made. <br/>The reshmi tikka roll was also delicious.<br/>The beef and egg burger was the best and it was utterly delicious with the beef so tender. <br/>This place is underrated but trust me and give this place a chance, youll love the food and ambience of this place.<br/><br/><br/>Follow my instagram handle for more updates @ambrosial_nectar

Beautiful cosy place just next to the famous fisherman's cove. Simple but pretty ambience. <br/>Recommended dish is creamy mushroom pasta and chicken biryani.

The food was very good but the service is slow. May be because of the new years rush.checkout the aloo paratha it's good.the grilled cheese garlic shark was also awesome.also ordered chicken spring roll,Veg Manchurian, egg Hakka noodles ,masala prawn.And everything was good

Totally loved this place! Right next to fisherman's cove, this is a cosy place which is actually built around a banyan tree. The staff is extremely prompt. I had the fish vindaloo here and it was awesome! There prices too are great! All in all, a great place to dine at!

A decent place to hangout! <br/>We visited every single day to this place during our stay in goa. This place is quite underrated but they serve you a luscious variety of north indian food, which we were actually looking for .<br/>Staff was courteous and friendly , ambience was great and also there was live sports screening.<br/>The thing which i liked the most was death by chocolate dessert, a must try if you visit to this place .

A nice cosy place to hang out in the evening. We tried the north Indian vegetarian dishes which isn't their forte. The food was average and the service took a long time. The ambience is nice and the beer is cheap. Overall a nice place for a drink, have cheap food and to hangout
