Nestled next to Acacia Hotel in Candolim, Fat Panda Kitchen is an absolute favorite of mine. With comfortable seating suitable for larger groups, the restaurant offers excellent service, particularly from the accommodating and friendly manager, Anand. The Chinese cuisine at Fat Panda Kitchen is truly exceptional, as I experienced on both of my visits. The Chicken in Kung pao sauce and Basa in Hunan sauce stood out with their exceptional flavors. The portion sizes were satisfying, and a delightful surprise awaits as you can request a sizzler, even though it's not on the menu, creating a wholesome and fulfilling meal. Despite residing 37 kilometers away, I willingly make the drive back and forth just to relish the outstanding food at Fat Panda Kitchen.

Food was Amazing but service was ,, in a place like goa we expect that service should be quick

Lovely experience visiting this place. We did a quick search as we were craving to have pork noodles. Even though it wasn't on the menu, they were courtious to accomodate our request. Nevertheless, the food was super delicious. The place had a vibe of its own, especially the live music adding to it. Must visit.

Visited with friends. Good ambience, good music and friendly staff. The seating is quite spaced out for comfort and safety. The food was good though a tad on the spicier side. The best dish award was given to the Crispy Lotus Stem which was brilliant. The basil beef was succulent but not very Chinese. Overall, nice place to visit.

I have to say, we enjoyed every single bite of the meal. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything was outstanding. It has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, wide menu list and wonderful dessert. Highly recommended !!

Fat Panda is the best Chinese restaurant in Goa. Unlike many Chinese restaurants each dish from Fat Panda has a different flavour to it. The freshness of the ingredients shine in the quality of the dishes prepared. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. He suggested every dish we had. The ambience though not my favourite is quite spacious. People usually mention the gravies and the appetisers in the reviews and no doubt that they are phenomenal at Fat Panda. But I would like to mention the Burnt Garlic Rice which was the best I have ever had through my entire culinary journey. It stands out on its own and holds tonnes of flavour. The dessert on the other hand was just too sweet for me I would have proffered a fruit to cut through the sweetness. The food is surprisingly not pricey. Fat Panda is definitely going to be one of my regular restaurant when I crave for authentic Chinese food

I am sad coz I did not click any food pics here.. but imagine how good the food would be, that my concentration was entirely on the food and din’t even think or remember clicking any... <br/>So when in Goa one rarely care about the places for good food... thankfully for me i am always with a gang of foodies.. so one of my friends introduced me to this little joint...we had a few things on the chef’s suggestion and I couldn’t stop eating whatever came my way.. Its difficult to even pick a fav coz everything was too good. The owner of the place actually took some time and sat with us, he explained how the dishes are made, what kind of mushrooms there are and how he procures them for his restaurant...<br/>Authentic food and flavours, may be some food information if you are lucky... highly recommend this place for an amazing food experience...

The Chinese food taste and its presentation is not as expected from a Chinese restaurant. The food taste, quantity and presentation all needs improvement.Their service was fast and hence gave 3 stars here.The toilet is as small as the aircraft toilet, but was clean. Zomato gold benefit on drinks was respected here.

Amazing for Chinese food... We walked on a lazy Friday afternoon... Almost wondering if it's open as there was no one... Ordered shredded honey chicken dragon noodles and sweet and sour vegetable and of course a beer... Had a very good food experience..

Average restaurant with average menu and average food taste. Service was good but they will force you to go for seafood if you ask for recommendations. Nothing wow about the place as name might suggest. Ordered for bang bang chicken and pork chilly basil. Bang bang chicken is good enough for those who like mayonnaise and ketchup ... specially kids. Interesting Chinese restaurant on Candolim road. They have their own twists on certain dishes. What I liked the most was the 'build your own sizzle'. It was basically a serving size for one where you can choose your main protein, vegetables and then the sauce. Its served exactly like a sizzler which makes it slightly fun. Would recommend this if you're in the area and craving some Chinese!

The food was not up to the mark neither quantity or quality wise. The prawns as suggested by waiter were completed tasteless, it was just mixed with excess amount of spices with no flavour.

Not worth it. Pricey and food is just alright. Drinks were good but not worth going all the way to Candolim. It's more a rundown place, difficult to locate and absolutely not worth it.

Fat Panda has a very interesting USP. They have taken the age-old concept of Chinese street food, and placed it in a gentrified setting. And gentrified is a mild way of putting it. Street food is usually messy, clumsy and sometimes (especially with Chinese cuisine) downright messy. There is none of that to be had at Fat Panda, where everything is the way it’s supposed to be. Dinner on your plate, that takes you back to the early ‘90s, when the Chinese cart movement began. With a complete value-for-money approach to customers, and everything about this menu being nostalgic, to say the very least, there is no way that this venue can be anything shy of a panda-roaring success.

Amazing! Loved the indigenised chinese spread. Food was great. Less oily, less spicey. Great service by staff. Honey Chili Chicken is super tasty.

We visited this restaurant in february , the restaurant was completely packed and too my surprise with the foreigners , we tried 1) chicken momos 2) chicken manchow & custom made chicken sizzlers .<br/>The momos were just perfect with perfect juciness but the thing that was missing was the aroma the momos were cooked well but you can feel the smell of raw chicken which was a turndown factor .<br/>Chicken manchow was absolutely spicy and perfect , just the way it should be<br/>Now finally the sizzler - the sauce was good , the vegies were good but the chicken could have been more tender and saucy..<br/>And the topping above all was the restaurant manager with spike hair cuts who was absolutley courteous and friendly . DO VISIT WHENEVER YOU ARE IN GOA 👍

Finally made it to Fat Panda on my birthday with family. The food is definitely worth the hype. All perfect, plenty in portion and value for money. Added bonus of Denzil being a sweetheart which made the experience more fun.

Really good Chinese Food in Candolim.<br/>We had starters of Golden Prawns and Dynamite Prawns to Share both were excellent.<br/>Mains of Hunan Chicken Sizzler and Hunan Beef Sizzler as we like it spicy again both were very good.

Best place to eat, and good thing is that staff is listening to what you requested. The worst part is the insects which are going around your food.

Visited Fat Panda for lunch, really good seating and a peaceful vibe although it’s in Candolim. I ordered for starters like Honey Glazed Potatoes, Golden Calamaris, Golden Prawns & Bang Bang Chicken along with some Fresh Watermelon Juice.<br/>Didn’t really have space for Mains but the starters were fabulous.

It's an excellent place if you are looking to have authentic Chinese cuisine at nominal prices. The only let down was the sweet garlic sauce with the veg momos. The awesome fried rice hunan veg and kung pao potato was great. They do have service charge but the ambience alongwith service and music deserve it.

Being baffled for the entire day about the place to choose for dinner, I came across Fat Panda in Zomato. So it's decided to visit here, its a partially opened place and I enjoyed the light breeze in the drizzling night. Upon the recommendation of the server I ordered a cocktail '' serial killer '' and then I had him decide our menu.<br/><br/>Serial killer : Blend of dark, white rums and fruit juice shaken and served chilled. Its a must try.<br/><br/>Draculas Bamboo: Coconut rum, blue coracu this one is for coconut lover. I did not like the taste, so it was replaced with the above. Thanks for this nice gesture.<br/><br/>Virgin mojito: Well prepared.<br/>Kung pao potatoes and nuts : Tasty starters.<br/><br/>Sizzlers: must try customised sizzlers.<br/><br/>Overall a perfect place to bid farewell to goa on my last vevening. No doubt this place serves best cocktails.

We went here for the Mongolian food festival. Basically, it is a single plate with a variety of options to choose from like chicken, beef and pork with rice or noodles. Additionally, we ordered the Bang Bang chicken and ginger beef with soy sauce. The latter two were really delicious. The beef was not overpowered by the ginger and took centre stage on our table. The Bang Bang Eli's a really simple dish with deep fried chicken tossed in a ketchup and mayo sauce. It perhaps would be better to serve the chicken and sauce separately as the crunchiness does die out quickly.<br/>On the pricing side, it follows a similar pricing pattern to Tao in Panjim. We would've liked more options from the Mongolian food festival, though.

An amazing place to have lunch/dinner if you’re a foodie and enjoy Chinese food. Easily accessible as its on the main road to candolim. Plenty of options to choose from in veg as well as non veg food. I found the rates very reasonable as compared to other similar restaurants in goa. The shacks on the beaches are way too expensive and give you none of the quality you get out here. The ambience is light and cheerful. <br/>Besides this, the owner/host is a delight person and will suggest some items as per your taste. <br/>I would make it my place to go when I visit Goa the next time.

Visited Fat panda for dinner recently in August mid week. Since it is an off-season in Goa, restaurant was pretty empty. And <br/><br/>Staff & service is prompt because it is taken negatively when a guest is not paid attention to, however within couple of minutes of our seating we were asked to place the order multiple times which was initially distracting because we were still going through the menu and we needed some time to think because we stepped in drenched in heavy rains, anyway it got better after that. <br/><br/>We order mushroom in ginger chilly which tasted good and had lots of green chillies & a customised sizzler (which I think is a great option because you can add the items of your choice), a strawberry margarita which was not cold at all let alone the crushed ice.<br/><br/>As for ambience its is funky yet I personally don't like very darkly lit typically Chinese type decor so I am not the right judge for ambience here given the place was Chinese kitchen. Music however was very good , the selection of songs was very balanced. Food and hospitality both amazing , tried basa fish, which is best fish so far I tried in goa . And their prawns is good too but was bit spicy but if you have that thing to try something different then it's highly recommend.

I visited this place few times back, It's very easy to locate on the main street of Candolim. When we visit only few seats are taken, so it was very relaxing out there. We ask the staff and order from there suggestion, it will take some extra time to deliver but food quality is definitely fresh very well prepared. quantity and pricing also good. I quite and simple place to visit with a prompt service.

This is my option when I do not want to cook and need a change real bad!<br/><br/>But do I think it is great. Definitely not! The way they serve their noodles is how any roadside eatery does in Cndolim. You just end up feeling a little worse for having paid thrice as much for the same stuff with a little more sauce. Yes they do have a toilet, unlike many other place so a PLUS ONE there!Having had a chopsuey once I can safely say that I did not like it. The noodles seemed powdery and the sauce full of cornflour! The egg was the only bit I actually liked, but then it was no rocket science to fry an egg! There was more of cabbage than any other veggies. Cabbage fills are expected of a roadside restaurant but you see a fancy place and you expect a little bit more!

Very Good Chinese food, at very reasonable prices. Situated on road connecting calangute Beach to Fort aguada. Friendly staff. A must try if you want to have Chinese food in land of Goans. The prices are fine and it's worth all you pay as you eat.

We went there as two families with kids.. wondering how the place was empty with only one other table occupied. We took the 'C' shaped sofa table but had to change as there were a lot of mosquitoes. We ordered for veg sizzlers, momos and kung pao chicken which were nice. The drinks were also good. The problem was with the main course. The burnt garlic rice and Mongolian gravy were the problem. Not only were they bad in taste and appearance (roadside vendors in Mumbai give better looking fried rice), they seemed to be spoilt. 5 out of 6 people fell sick including 2 children. Now I know the reason why the place was empty and for a good reason rightly so. Wonder why the rating is still 4...

The best chinese money can buy in North Goa...<br/>A place where one invites themselves time and again as the food is super, staff is friendly and professional, pet friendly (if ure pet is friendly) and the owner denzil is a super fun guy to hang out with.<br/>We travel to goa very often and never miss a chance to visit fat panda....<br/>My personal fav is the pork chilly and chicken in garlic sauce.<br/>Spiced with authentic chinese spices and herbs.<br/>Seafood soup is another favourite of my family...<br/>The vegetarians will not be disappointed as they have a large menu for them..<br/>A special word for Denzil....Thanks a lot buddy for always helping us out looking for places to eat and hangout.....

Its a Chinese restuarant. Its kindda open restuarant. Ambience is beautifully done. Staff is courteous. Service was quick. Food is also good. As i was very hungry so i ordered main course. I had sizzelers. Presentation was beautiful. It tasted good too. Price is value for money. Over all it was awesome experience.

Delicious authentic Chinese food. This place isn't your regular manchurian - fried rice Chinese restaurant that you can find every 100meters or so in Goa. They actually serve cuisines from the different regions of China like Cantonese, sinchuan, etc.<br/>The staff here is attentive and service is quick. The place itself is quite nice and attracts a decent crowd as far I could tell.<br/>For any cocktail lover with a sweet tooth, I strongly recommend the 'Funky Monkey', you won't be disappointed 😁

Seems like a decent place, don't not try the sizzlers if you are someone who knows what a sizzler should taste like, all that fancy build your own sizzler is all a farce. Price wise very reasonable, ambiance decent, waiters kind. It deserves a try if you like Chinese cuisine

A speciality chinese restaraunt In candolim not worth visiting, menu is confusing, portions are small and overpriced, go to other multi speciality restaurants around for a better experience.

A great place for Chinese food though I'd recommend sticking to the starters as the main course is a bit run of the mill.<br/>We tried the Pork ribs which were sticky, tender and delicious. The Bang Bang chicken is their signature dish and while the name may sound off-putting, do give it a try, it's really good and the dipping sauce is perfectly spiced. <br/>We also tried the chilli garlic noodles which like I said were okay. <br/>This place is worth a visit :)

This is a small place tucked away on the road to Fort Aguada. We reached here wanting some good authentic Chinese food. When we reached here it was a restaurant under a shed and no walls! I still trusting Zomato users, checked the menu, it had a lot of Chinese food on just four pages. Confused, I asked the waiter for suggestions. He suggested us this starter called Bang Bang Chicken (huh?!). Then for main course he suggested Mongolian Chicken Gravy and we chose to eat Burnt Garlic Fried Rice with it. <br/>The food came and it looked okay we were hungry so started digging in, the starter was so good! The chicken was batter fried, dipped in a flavourful creamy sauce. It came with some lettuce which was so fresh! There were no complaints but compliments for the main course! The food was so light and fresh. Plus, the bill was just above a thousand bucks including alcohol.<br/>The only downside of this place is the ambience. If they spend a few bucks on the same, I'm sure there will be more people noticing the place and relishing their amazing food.

A little off the road and unexplored but a must visit place if you want break from all time Goan and continental food.. <br/>we had snapper with chilli coriander which was amazing and must have.. Sizzlers were good too. Manchow soup was also tasty.. at the end we again ordered chilli garlic noodles which were damn good.. less oily,more veggies, perfect. <br/>And not to forget their staff - Raj was very courteous and friendly. So decided to go here tonight after reading lots of reviews and seeing some great pictures of food. The service was quick but after he asked me my order first I said don’t make it yet as my friends ain’t decided but he went and ordered anyway. When my food did arrive after saying I wanted my starter then my main the main came first and I actually finished it before my starter had arrived. First of all, this place is open till 1 am which is a deal maker in itself for me. It is easily accessible (right on Candolim road) and has a big seating area, with a TV that airs sports channels. Now the food. Its the best Chinese food I've ever had in a very long time. The taste, quality is impeccable. Try anything and you wont be disappointed. They also serve liquor to go along with it. My experience was brilliant. Special thanks to the attendant -Vinod who listened to us when we spoke to him about what we like to eat/our taste. We did concur, as he recommended the same thing we had in mind! That's being genuinely interested in your guests tastes and going the extra mile to serve your customers. We liked it so much that we spent 2 nights having Chinese food in Goa :)

Absolutely love this place, it's been our go to for late night dinners, or afternoon lunches, they serve the yummiest food and the helpings are so generous with the veggies. And the music will give you the Goan holiday feels.

A lot of my friends had praised restaurant to the sky so I finally decided to try it. As a Panjim resident goenchin has always been my go to place for Chinese food and that has got me accustomed to a certain flavour which I call as Chinese. Fat Panda was a break from that, their flavours are different and choice of dishes is also different than the usual restaurants. We tried their Street style chilly chicken which is absolutely delicious, veg kothe was a hit too. We were bold in trying a sauce we wouldn't have otherwise and took the garlic oyster sauce for the main course and we were happy with that as well. We teamed it up with burnt garlic rice. I believe that dessert is the most important element of the meal so ordered for Snickers wantons and that felt like a party in my mouth.<br/>All and all its a wonderful place with delicious food. Brownie points for the decor with pandas as I am panda fan. They have a wall full of framed panda pics and other panda decorations.<br/>The staff is very very helpful, eager to help and friendly. And their service is super fast as well.

This is an amazing place with live music. And I loved to go to this place because it was very near of my resort and they serves so many Chinese dishes. <br/>I had an amazing sizzler from here. The quantity was up to the mark and I like the way they serves the sizzler. <br/>Service was little slow but it's ok to wait to have this type of sizzler. <br/>Guys this is the perfect place for Chinese food lovers. The ambiance was very relaxing. The food is really very good and Mr. Rajan helped us in selecting our order. He was there after ever dish was served to ask if its fine. Overall great experience a must try in goa.

The service was pretty good and food was tasty, ate some great kalamari in plum sauce and an interesting vegetarian starter with baby corn and water chestnut. Mains was a pork dish which I asked a little customization on. The staff was very accommodating and attentive.

The Best Indo Chinese you will find in candolim Area. Located just opposite to candolim deck you can find mouth watering dishes. If you are confused with the menu Owner will assist you with recommending dishes and you will have one word Thank You. Staff is courteous. Value for money. <br/>Highly recommended.

The ambiance is very nice an relaxed. The food is really very good and so are the cocktails. Must try the snapper in chilli corriander, pork ribs, prawns dynamite and the beef chilli basel and the chicken chilli bean. A very good experience.

Great food specially pork ribs and the chilly squids. Staff are friendly and nice ambience. There is a great deal of variety of items in the menu as well. Overall a great experience. <br/>During my next visit the experience was equally nice specially the Kung Pao chicken. We also ordered from our hotel once and they delivered the stuff inspite of the fact that it was a small order. Great customer service!

Found this place while hunting for restaurants  past midnight when they were almost suppose to close down. But they were kind enough to light up the place for us. Rare thing in Goa. Ordered bang bang chicken which was bang on. Crispy chicken and mayo.. yumm.. who doesn't love that. Do try birds nest if you want a hot spice hit.

I have visited this place two times. First time I ate sizzler which was delicious. The veggies were well cooked. And next I ate Manchurian and noodles which was also tasty. I like this place. Brilliant Chinese place with a bang for your buck...<br/>Fantastic quantities, spicy enough to be remembered...tried the Thai beef basil...spicy enough to tingle your taste buds but incredulous good as well...The prawn momos were nothing to be remembered by..the pork momos were a whole lot better but a lil too spicu for my liking...but the coup d'etat was the bang bang chicken...fantastic...very closely resembles the dynamite prawns of p.f Chang.<br/>They have a really nice collection of alcoholic pitchers which are guaranteed to make it a good night out..

2nd time I ordered in last 1 year. Pretty decent food and very quick and professional service by Goa standards(ordered delivery both times). Most items on the menu are tasty and well prepared. <br/><br/>Could look at the portion size which I feel are too small for the price.

Visited the Fat Panda twice in our visit to Goa this week; two times since she loved their fried rice on our first visit. A must visit for anyone who loves Chinese. The ambience is pleasant and the service was excellent. The Kung Pao chicken and their triple schezwan rice were some of the best. We look forward to our next visit.

Whenever I want quick Chinese food with absolute good prices I go there. It's in one little corner of candolim....the service and food...both are good.

Food is smelly and staff is non coperave, ordered red snappe, sizzler it's was disgusting. Would never come back to this place. Things could have been far far better then this

We decided to go to Fat Panda tonight coz of my eternal love for Chinese food .. n boy ! I am glad we did manage to get there .. so we ordered pork momos (steamed ) for staters.. the very first bite I took made me realize that this is what i needed to eat to satisfy my craving soul !! The momos were quite filling and simply awesome in taste . As for main course we kept it simple garlic egg fried rice ( made to our precise requirement )and chicken in schezuan sauce ..both the dishes were good .. infact the fried rice could have been eaten without any gravy (if u would like to keep it light ;) ) <br/>As for drinks we got ourselves pina colada ( no other day could have been better to celebrate World Pina Colada Day,it wasn't intentional though ) .. I would recommend this place any day to all my friends visiting Goa. ..

Fat panda is a place for people who like lamb , tenderloin & chicken.<br/><br/><br/>The place had amazing minted tenderloin , super pepper lamb . <br/><br/><br/>the place is has the perfect locations . it's on the main candolim road. <br/><br/>really superior quality food . <br/><br/>must try . this is my second visit and a wonderful experience.

If you have not had Indo-Chinese food, you must! It's the most flavorful, delicious food in the world. Fat Panda delivers some of the best I've had. The hot and sour soup is the best soup I've ever had in my life! I would have been content with only eating that! It's full of ginger, spices, garlic, cilantro and the balance of the flavors are absolutely unforgettable. I am not a fan of mayo, so the Bang Bang chicken was not my favorite, but if you like Mayo, you should try it out. The chili chicken and lollipop drum sticks were out of this world. Also try the blended mint colida. An amazing drink! If you are from the States, this place has many items that PF Changs has but much much tastier.<br/><br/>In addition to all the amazing food, the ambiance is cool and had fun music. The server made great recommendations and was attentive. Also, I saw the wait staff wash their hands several times and had no problems with stomach issues which I've been having in India. Highly recommend!!

This little gem in Goa is a foodie's delight. After being in Goa for 3 days and eating all the sea food on earth, I was craving for some Chinese, Indian Chinese, that is spicy and bursting with flavours. Found this place on Zomato and ran into it, primarily because of the cute name. It was a quiet afternoon and we took seats. The staff is polite and friendly and gave suggestions. We ordered 2 main course dishes, vegetarian- a sizzler and a bowl that had both rice and noodles. Ordered a lychee drink. As the order arrived and we digged into the food, my my, another level of delicious. It was spicy- satiating my Chinese cravings. Wonderful meal. We were running late to catch the flight bt I couldn't stop eating. To this day, I regret leaving some food back, such were the flavours. Totally loved the place.

FAT PANDA!!! <br/>It's the perfect place to grab Chinese food. <br/>Denzil is great with his suggestions of combining the flavours and bringing out food right for your palette. Being a hardcore carnivore,even the vegetarian dishes recommended by him are great. <br/>Although,the dynamite prawns are one of my favourites.<br/>Definitely the most stupendious restaurant in Goa! <br/>

I went here with my hubby for lunch 2 days back. We had Roast chilli chicken, chicken nest and a customised chicken sizzler❤️. Everything was delicious👍🏼. The portions served were substantial. Totally value for money. <br/><br/>The service was decent and the ambience was fine. Totally recommend this place to chinese lovers.
