Amazing ambiance and music. Food was spot-on. The Taste, Quality and portion sizes were worth the price. Great service by Krishna bhai. A must try for food lovers !!!

Always busy which is a good sign as the food is always good. They have had a refit and the place feels big and airy, live music everynight we have been there and the guys that wirk there do their best to keep you well stocked up with drinks and food. We have been many times and even the Boss Sam makes a point of saying hi.

Afternoon well spent at The Curry House... Location is on the main road, easy to locate, parking available on the site, well maintained clean washrooms, service is good, waiters are attentive, food taste is good as well, we had golden fried prawns and crab masala with roti, in drinks we tried kaju and coconut feni with limca on the suggestion from our waiter seemed to be a good combination. Ending our lunch with tuborg. Bonus was we were able to watch India VS South Africa match. Overall a good experience.

Awesome place. Really really enjoyed here.Highly recommended. Service, food quality, ambience everything was 10/10 Specially the live singing... my hubby had requested a song and that part was awesome for us. Thank you curry room for adding a memory to our vacation.

Nice place for late night dinner, restaurant will be open till 3am. They have hookah available 1000rs for hookah Service was bit slow, but we didn't mind as we had plenty of time to kill. Food was tasty, but cocktail was not that good. Over all must visit place, for Indian food cravings, will fill the tummy

Uodated, this place is amazing.. go here.. first, anshul is the best. Nice restaurant on the main drag, has a very large menu with both veg, non-veg, and even beef items. Lots of fans to keep you cool on the heat. They have live music and on the day we went it was phenomenal. Food definitely good, the chicken lollipops are a must as well as the fish tika. We also had some good prawn curry and butter paneer. Service is good, maybe a little slow when they are busy but all in all a nice little spot to hang out and grab some food or drinks.

The Curry House ( Goa )<br/><br/>The Curry House is located in Goa in candolim on the way to the Aguada Fort . The restaurant is very good and simple . The staff is good and they are polite . If you don't any kind off dishes or cuisine they will explain you what is it. The ambience is too good . The quantity and the quality served over here is proper . You can hangout with your friends and family . It's a open restaurant near the road . They have offer off buy 2 white owl beer n get one free . They have varieties of cuisine. The place is very good and overwhelmed . The service is good over here .<br/><br/>We ordered<br/>Fish thali<br/>French fries<br/>2 beers<br/><br/>The fish thali was great . I loved the fish mackerel . It's was properly cooked. The fish curry was also good . They served us tandoori roti with it which was kinda different . I didn't expected mustard sauce when they served it with the French fries . The food was too good . โค๏ธ

The food here is good. Basic good food. We ordered<br/>1. Stuffed Mushrooms<br/>2. Crispy Fried Babycorn<br/>3. Crispy Fried Prawns<br/>4. Goan Chilly Chicken<br/>5. Schezwan Fried Rice.<br/><br/>My favorite was the Goan Chilli Chicken. The mocktails and cocktails can be better. There is also hookah. So yummy food+ beer+ hookah makes an amazing combination. It's also not extremely expensive. And it's nice to sit and watch the town as it's right in the middle of the town

As the name suggest its a curry house so feel free to order curries from here, one of the well-known places here falls on the way to Aguada fort. the ambiance is nice and open serves alcohol and good food, we ordered for veg sizzler, chicken lasooni tikka and few drinks overall the service food and beverage were good and sufficient for 4 of us and the bill was also pocket friendly, the place looks vibrant during evening with all the jazzy lighting and funky music. the afternoon was a bit dull however evening looked promising (as we were on our way to our apartment and saw the place)
Ayesha Gaikwad
Average place to eat. Though the ambience is good. Food taste can be improved. Service is also slow. The surmai in the surmai thali we ordered was very average.

I am surprised at the current rating, The Curry House on Fort Aguada Road has been averaging at.<br/><br/>While parking can be a quite a risk and challenge here, there are ample lanes and by-lanes at perpendiculars to this road near the restaurant that accommodate parking under a shady banyan or two.<br/><br/>This is my second visit to the restaurant, my last being approximately 5 years ago but not much has changed.<br/><br/>The ambience, the music, the food, the prices, the service... They all continue to remain the same... inviting and warm.<br/><br/>The street is quite deserted and void of traffic at this hour, punctuated only by a car or a bike or two. The interior is very cool and the soft pop in the backdrop only adds on to the lovely afternoon ambience.<br/><br/>My daughter has her standards and choices quite set and initiates her meals with a Cream Of Chicken Soup (โ‚น100) which turns to Sweet Corn Chicken (!!??) when it is placed in front of her. Well she likes it anyway so we do not take anyone to task.<br/>She has also opted to share a Balti of Butter Chicken (โ‚น280) and Jeera Fried Rice (โ‚น150) with her mother. The Butter Chicken is well prepared and extremely tender. The taste is a far cry from the preparation I have tasted back in my home city and less sweeter and thus complimenting very well with the Jeera Rice which again is a far cry from the Maharashtrian version. This also had a mild flavour of turmeric.<br/><br/>My son and I give the good old beer a miss and settle for a Coke (โ‚น30) to quench the thirst and wet the bite.<br/><br/>For the bite, we select Chicken Cafreal (โ‚น320) and Jeera Fried Rice. It is after quite a while that we have finally tasted authentic Cafreal so this one is a treat. Again, the chicken meat is tender and juicy. Both the chicken dishes have plenty of chicken pieces so the price is justified.<br/><br/>On the side, we have ordered for a King Prawns Rawa Fry, reasonably priced at โ‚น320. The prawns are fresh and the masala they are fried in is also delectable.<br/><br/>For desserts (free), we see the familiar dark blue tow van creep in and interrupt the afternoon meal of a few diners by picking up the two wheelers that have been parked illegally along the curb. The scraping of chairs, the clatter of steel cutlery, the short sharp cries from a bevy of pretty girls, all add to the amusement as youngsters (who have been warned earlier by a couple of the restaurant's staff), rush to whisk their bikes out of the reach of the law before they are loaded into the van or to strike a deal to spare a trip to the nearest police chowki!<br/><br/>The Curry House would always be our go-to-place for a quiet and lovely meal on a lazy weekday afternoon.

Straight to the point...<br/>Ignorant staff...<br/>Ordered prawns thali..prawns werent devained(personal preference of the restaurant) hence tasted as if we're munching sand.<br/><br/>Pomfret thali is around the same as other places in Goa-But just the cost. Such a tiniee winiee piece of pomfret priced high is not worth it. Lacked taste..lacked flesh.<br/><br/>Chicken thaali was good. The chicken gravy is what was not wasted and saved all of us from the other things ordered.<br/><br/>Almost hampered our afternoon. And not coz of the food..but just coz of the staff. None of our concerns were adressed beyond "Yeh aise hi banta hai/ itna hi milega kahi bhi"<br/>I wish their staff was(& gets) courteous at the least.<br/><br/>

A good place with nice ambiance and good food. As I had visited near Christmas time, the place was nicely decorated and well lit. A Christmas Tree was placed near the centre giving it a festive feel.<br/>(Almost all the tables were occupied by foreigners).<br/><br/>The food also was good and the rates were reasonable.<br/>We tried, Chicken tandoori which was well cooked and tasty. We also ordered chicken lollipops which were crispy and good to taste.<br/>In main course we ordered Balti Butter chicken (which tasted like chicken kadhai but good to taste nonetheless) and butter naan. We also ordered rice.<br/><br/>A place worth try!!
Tanush Lonkar
Good Place not as amazing as it could be<br/>Ambience good<br/>Service is slow<br/>In food we ordered Carb Thali and Egg masala<br/>Crab Thali tastes good Must try<br/>But egg masla not upto the mark so food wise its an OK<br/>Smoking available<br/>Outdoor seating<br/>If you're near by Condolim can visit once

It is an open restaurant with multiple cuisines. It serves delicious food be it tandoori snacks or main course. Very easy on pocket and staff is also very friendly. As I stayed in Taj fort Agoda , it was very close to my hotel but I wonโ€™t suggest anyone to travel for this restaurant as there are ample of them in Goa . <br/><br/>To follow on Instagram - @ divyafoodaholic

Visited this restaurant for dinner. It was an off season, in the month of July when in general restaurants and hotels are passively operational in Goa. <br/>This is a very brightly coloured restaurant, with kind of an open seating arrangement under the shade by the Candolim road. <br/>There were few guests at the time and there was a singer singing old romantic numbers from Kishore kumar's era.<br/><br/>It was an ok set up. Food we ordered was indo-Chinese, regular paneer chilly & noodles and some starters, all of which was alright. However service was tad bit slow right from taking the order till billing.<br/><br/>I would rate<br/><br/>Food- 3/5<br/>Service- 3/5<br/>Ambience- 3/5<br/>

This restaurant is on road near to candolim beach and kingfisher villa. walk able distance to Santana beach resort (where we were staying)ย  and food was appreciable and good. we tried their veg and non veg items . All were made good. Fish and other sea food was very costly , may be of rainy season but other prices are ok as per tourist place. Beer price was ok too. U can have supper anytime over there.

Came to Goa for the 2nd time. This time its more fun. So about this place, staff is courteous and helpfully. Ambiance is ok and food is also fine. Good place for a quick dinner and lunch. This place also serve hooka if ur interested. Over all good place for small casual dinner or lunch but not foe fine dining. Price is ok not very cheap. Would recommend for a casual food joint.

Great place to grab a tasty meal in candolim, easy to locate, decent crowd and pleasent atmosphere . The staff is very helpful and well worse with the menu and the trending dishes offered. Had a great lunch with friends would recommend the bacon wrapped prawns โ™ฅ๏ธ what a lovely combination

Located Near Kingfisher Villa on the main road itself. The place is an open restaurant with good seating. We had ordered Crabs and Prawns which was good in quality and taste. The masala and the gravy which was prepared was amazing in taste. Its an authentic Goan eating joint which serves great local dishes too. Service is decent and prompt. Overall a good place to have food and drinks.

Great food, good ambience, great beer!<br/><br/>try the squid masala fry, its delicious. The service was prompt and well received. <br/><br/>Very close to aguada fort .

Good food and drinks at reasonable prices is what defines The Curry House. It was my second visit to this place in last 2 years and they have not disappointed me. The fries were the surprise element.

-:LOCATION & AMBIENCE:-<br/>Situated in Candolim on the way to Kingfisher Villa, which is a 5 minute walk..The place is an Open Spaced Area with abundant seating..Tables for 4 each & a few tables for larger groups of approx 8-10 pax..<br/>The wooden chairs & tables are proportionately heightened for a comfortable dining experience..But being in an open environment, there are way too many mosquitoes that tend you irritate you..For such circumstances, they're always ready with their mosquito coils..I loved their choice of music played..It's mild most of the time but as the crowd grows, the collection of songs played becomes increasingly better..They also have a screening for the Live matches..<br/>The Overall Ambience is just right for spending lovely evenings with some friends over the more noisier restobars of Candolim..<br/><br/>-:DRINKS:-<br/>WATERMELON JUICE (5/5): Was a pretty good option in the Juices Section..Refreshing, filling & tasty too! Sweetness was near perfect too! A MUST-TRY!<br/><br/>PINA COLADA (4.5/5): Good taste overall! Won't say it was the best, but it was surely worth ordering..Could have been a little more creamier & texture could have been smoother..Nonetheless, it's A MUST-TRY!<br/><br/>-:FOOD:-<br/>STARTERS:<br/>CRISPY CHICKEN (4.5/5): Chicken deep fried until crispy & tossed in a medium spicy schezwan sauce along with grated cabbage..A MUST-TRY!<br/><br/>CRUMB CHICKEN (4/5): Tasted nothing different than the Crispy Chicken..The coating was supposed to be Bread crumbs deep fried, but it tasted all same..Found this to be a little bit more spicier though!<br/><br/>CHICKEN SEEKH KEBAB (4.5/5): Wonderful taste! The Seekh Kebabs seemed a little dry, but were very flavourful! The Chutney served with the Kebabs was tasty too! It took a little too long to make these yummies, but they were worth the wait! A MUST-TRY!<br/><br/>GOBI MANCHURIAN DRY (1/5): Wasn't really the dish I intended to order..This was more semi-dry than I expected..The taste wasn't good at all..They need to re-invent the recipe probably!<br/><br/>PEANUT MASALA (5/5): When you have a drink on the table & you're not wanting an extra starter, easiest option for a 'chakna' is some lovely Peanut Masala..Includes Chopped Onions, Tomatoes, Green Chillies & Chat Masala..A MUST-TRY!<br/><br/>MAIN COURSE:<br/>GOAN FISH CURRY (4.5/5): One of the Best Goan Curries I've had till date..Perfect amount of Coconut Milk base, Fish pieces were big & tasty..A perfect combo with steamed rice! A MUST-TRY!<br/><br/>STEAMED RICE (4/5): A portion of Rice is sufficient for 2..The rice is thick but well cooked..Goes well with the Goan Fish Curry..<br/><br/>PANEER FRIED RICE (2/5): Just another vegetarian option..The Paneer Fried Rice wasn't such a good option after all..Too dry to eat & no schezwan sauce given alongside too..Taste could have been better..<br/><br/>SPICY FRIED RICE (4.5/5): Tastewise, it was comparatively better than the Paneer Fried Rice..To get the spicyness quotient right, they made use of Black Pepper which gave the Rice a nice taste..The Rice had a combo of Chicken, Prawns & Egg for the meat & Spring Onions for garnish..A MUST-TRY!<br/><br/>VEG MANCHURIAN GRAVY (4/5): The portion seemed small to me..Tastewise, it was good, but I should rather have gone for the Chicken version instead of Veg one..The gravy should have more Garlic in it, just to make it Perfect!<br/><br/>MASALA TEA (5/5): One of the Best Teas in Candolim..Haven't found any other place serving such nice Tea..This is just Perfecto!<br/><br/>-:DESSERTS:-<br/>VANILLA ICE-CREAM WITH HOT CHOCOLATE SAUCE (1.5/5): Had they used some real Chocolate Sauce, I would have said this is a Must try dessert..Unfortunately, all they used was Hershey's Syrup as a substitute..So this is a not at all a recommended dish..<br/><br/>VANILLA ICE-CREAM WITH BEBINCA (4.5/5): Bebinca was on my mind before even entering Goa..Tasted the Jaggery made Bebinca for the first time, that too with Vanilla Ice-Cream..Tasted lovely! The extra sweetness of the Cakes is neutralized by the Vanilla Ice-Cream..A MUST-TRY!<br/><br/>-:SERVICE:-<br/>The Service boys needs to be attentive all the time..They have to leave alone their cellphones atleast when the customers are seated..We had to call them each time for orders & even for water..The service when food is ordered is fast, but again lags by a greater margin..Improvement needed!<br/><br/>AMBIENCE: 4.5/5<br/>SERVICE: 2.5/5<br/>DRINKS: 4.5/5<br/>FOOD: 4/5<br/>DESSERTS: 3/5<br/>VALUE-FOR-MONEY: 4.5/5<br/><br/>OVERALL: 4/5

How did my visit go? Very bad. Initially no one came for order , then when we enquired the best dish serve the staff wasn't aware. After we order our food, it came very late. Then the glass of beer has insect in it. When we asked for senior person no one was there. Though they deducted the amount of beer but that does not matter.

The joint is a typical goan shack type joint. Not very impressive from the looks of it. we entered here for lunch as the restaurant is very near to our hotel the O hotel. We wanted to taste some goan fish curry. They made really tasty fish curries. We tried the prawn and surmai curries. Both were superb tasty. The fish curry rice are the items we came again the next day. Their French fries are good not out of the world. The pomfret masala fry was let down. The fish was not fresh. The joint is run by full Bengali team. all the waiters cooks were Bengali. The waiters are good at service but the only thing they do not care is to guide you with the food. They cannot suggest anything like which will be a good dish. they do not care to sell their delicacies, but service was quick and prompt. The waiters treated the foreigners and Indians differently and that is why I have given them 3. Otherwise sea food and fish dishes are very good.ย  The quantity served was plenty. The prices are very reasonable.
Sangeetha Jayaram
Do not recommend at all! They make you wait for an hour without even serving water! I would never come back to this place again. Food is average, no options for veg goanese food!
Viviansalvin
More like The "Garlic" house.<br/>Pathetic food. Please do not visit. Service is just horrible.<br/>Rude and ignorant staff. Probably cuz they know the customers wont be visiting again as they are tourists.
Preeta Bhanot Dutta
Good decent place to sit. We dropped by this joint while coming back from the beach and as we were very hungry we stopped here to have lunch. We ordered some Chinese dishes which were okayish. Their daals are not so good.
DalrineMenezes
Just visited this place for dinner didn't quite like it ! Raunchy crowd. Chicken balti was good and the roti too. Drinks were chilled. <br/>Just didn't like the ambience of the place at all...stopped here cuz the other places in that line wouldn't serve food at that hour.
Binay Kumar
Yestarday we have gone for lunch, But we got one of the worst experience of our Goa trip. Service was very bad, it will take half an hour to bring the running order of Roti and that also not cooked properly. We have ordered Chicken Handi , it was watery Gravy with no salt.
Parul Sahu
Awesome live music @ sundays. The person sang all the songs beautifully - a perfext mix of classic Hollywood and hindi songs.<br/>The food and services were good. <br/>We just came here listening to the person performing .
Kiran Chhabra
Food is good.I ordered for Goan fish curry and tandoori loabster and both are good in taste and Quantity.Staff is friendly and greets the guest properly<br/>The best thing is music<br/>#not much expensive as compared to other restraunts
Nivedita B
Nice restaurant. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š Food is yummy.....<br/>The best part of this retaurant is music๐ŸŽค๐ŸŽธ๐ŸŽผ..... which adds good essence of flavour in ur food..<br/>
Pranav Bharadwaj
The service is the worst. Don't bother. Just try someplace else on the same road. If they take 1 hour to serve a paneer tikka , I would have rather bought paneer and curd and done it myself. I hope the owner of this place straightens up the staff.
Jitesh Khurkhuriya
Pathetic service. Never eat here. Waiters simply look at u and ignore u. Lol. That's a reality being faced by many. I can see that right now. So many unhappy faces for want of good service. Rude manager/boy at the counter.
Melroy Fernandes
Pathetic service, overpriced average food, noisy staff, recommended only if the last place open or under the influence of alcohol, had dinner and the breakfast, both very very bad
Sameehan Dharmadhikari
Good place to and eat. The service is prompt, and the food was served in a short while. The only problem is cleanliness. There popped a little cockroach on the table. Trust me, it's not a pretty sight. <br/>Go at your own risk
Ankur Desai
Very nice and cozy place to be for late night dinner and drinks. The place was near by my stay and had some memorable moments here.. I suggest if you want to spend quality time with ur friends and family, this is one of the good ones..
Sakshi Bhatia
At first, i was not sure about going to this place. But i am glad that we did.<br/><br/>The place was a normal shack shaped restraunt. This one has got a variety of dishes at nominal prices.<br/><br/>I was dying to eat authentic fish curry in Goa and this place offered one.<br/><br/>We ordered Fish curry and rice, which was delectable. They serve rice with curried fish, some delicious tangy salad and a fried portion of fish. The quantity of rice was more than enough. The only thing i did not like was the gravy or curry taste, was a bit bitter. Yet i liked it.<br/><br/>We also ordered Masala prawn and chapati. It was a star dish. The prawns were yummy. The quantity was again more than enough, i could even have it with my fish curry and rice.<br/><br/>Great food. Good prices.

Don't go by its name..the name might sound uninteresting but the ambience n food were completely awesome.<br/>We were strolling down the candolim road n then came across this place..though it didn't attract us at the first sight but the lively music pulled us in....<br/>We had our breakfast ....the pork chilly though was not that great but the other items for breakfast were cool....<br/>Luvd the ambience<br/><br/>๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ‡๐Ÿ‡

Starters - had ordered for chicken lollipop which was really tasty. Ordered French fries too but they weren't that great :/<br/>Main course - kadai chicken and naaan ws really tasty. Naan was exceptionally good :) <br/>Also ordered rice and goan prawn curry which was okay. Could hv been better.<br/>The place and ambience is nice to just sit n chill with a beer :) <br/><br/>

Been to this place only once on my trip to goa. Had butter naan, kadhai chicken, paneer butter masala and apple pie with ice cream. The food was actually pretty good. And they had live music session in the evening. Pretty nice experience.

Good place to have casual lunch...we had rice, daal tadka, veg kolhapuri...It was pretty decent n satisfying because every other restro in.the lane are known.for their non veg specialities
