Review Monico's Beach Shack - Candolim

A perfect place to drink, eat with a view, all in all to chill with your family, friends and partner. The staff is very cooperative, given the other places, where the service is just originated to dig money out of your pocket. Especially "Anand", who took care of us on our multiple visits with a very genuine smile. The view is good and very close to the entrance of the beach.

Ambience Was Wonderful, Lighting was So Good. Nice Staff Well Manered, they Know how to talk with people's, Staff Service was Amazing.. Mr Sudhir Sethi Service Guy Very good.. Dj also Fine Reasonable Price menu, Manchurian & Veg Biryani was Delicious.. Chocolate shake also Good..

Had a few drinks here. The cocktails were nice.

Nice location. Friendly staff. Less cost for the shack. Good food nothing extraordinary. Cocktails are average. Beers are preferred. You can enjoy the sea with peace.

Kishor the service attendant is a GOAT. Great fast service by him. The location is great too! If you come here ask for kishor cause he’s friendly. Drinks are great here.

It's a like normal shack along the beach but the best thing is prompt service and a great view along the Candolim Beach. Easily approachable and noticeable on beach. They have good menu and a delicious recipe. In the night it is very awesome to sit by side of beach and have a drink or snacks in candel light. They don't have limitation on time to sit as long as you want to spend time while having food you can take. Enjoy.the beach shack

The service was awesome and special care was taken to help us taste authentic Goan cuisine. We wanted to eat fish and would have tried anything, but were happy with the way our request for Goan fish fry was taken care off. Peter was amazing with his customer service. We spent over 2 hours happily have our lunch bang opposite the beach. The Goan hospitality is truly awesome all over Goa. Makes us proud Indians.

Recommended- Chicken Cafreal with Garlic Naan. Don't forget to ask for butter on naan.

Excellent place. Right on the sand. The food is good with a wonderful sunset view. Music too. If you arent much of a beach walker then this place suuts you best as it very close to the entrance to the beach. Its got a washroom too but carry your own sanitiser..

Tandoor was a let down. Period. The cook should have tasted it and sent it out. Service was smooth. Food was on the high price side. Ambience and music were right on the spot ! Best thing about this shack is the open-beach sitting that it has to offer.... serendipity.

Previously this place was called Spotty's. When i went this time around it has changed it's name. We reached around 11 over here. We were welcomed with nice soothing MLTR music. The English Breakfast ordered was insane was filling till tea time in the evening. Eggs of your choice, Bacon, Tea or juice of your choice. Baked beans, hash browns and sausages. This breakfast sets your day. Service - Great, Parking - we need to park on the main road and reach here. Ambience - No words beautiful!!!. Food tasted great would love to go back here. Price around 250 for a full English breakfast.

You never know when a random shack visit on a random afternoon at a random beach can become a memorable one, mostly because of the food they serve, let alone by the place they are situated at. <br/><br/>After a dip in the waters, we wanted to put something substantial in our bellies and we chose this shack because it was half empty-half full. <br/><br/>Without any adieu, we ordered a Corona Beer and a sweet lassi for drinks. For plates, we ordered French fries, Chilli Garlic noodles, Manchurian, Chicken Lollipops and batter fried Calamari. <br/><br/>The best of the lot was Calamari, the fish was cooked well, perfect rings, was soft and chewable.

Yet another shack on candolim beach, monico's has good looking interior.<br/>We went for a brunch at the place and order paneer chilly and dry manchurian. The paneer chilly was not good and the paneer felt a bit stale also the machurian was overly spiced and salted only good thing wa sthe view and the chocolate milkshake. We were here for dinner and the place was pretty empty - our reason to stay back at this one was simple - they were ready to play our choice of songs since we were their only guest - on top of it the food turned out to be good too. Hence, it was double-win for us. <br/><br/>The service was quick, and the place was quiet and simple. The lady at the counter was very sweet to play our request songs and by giving us all the dance floor space :<br/><br/>We had ordered a bunch of items of their list and they all were good except the veg platter - but as I said everything else was very good, so I have very little to complain about.

This is one shack on Candolim beach which is a must visit. Very beautifully lit and the minimal rustic decor just adds on to your Goa vibes. The staff was quick on their toes and friendly too. The comfy beach chairs the sound of waves and good music was all we needed for our romantic night out. The food menu was quite long with assorted veg aa well as non-veg items. The prawn pakoras to the Chicken steak. Everything was perfect. The pricing was decent compared to other shacks around and it was just a few steps away from our resort which made accessibility a breeze.

Went there twice once for breakfast and lunch..Lunch was good. Ordered for prawns biryani and chicken tandoori which was very nice. Hence went for breakfast the next day. Ordered for chicken sandwich which was okay not filling at all. Aloo paratha was nice. You get free wifi. Close to the entry of the beach.

Loved the place for service, location and food the waiter there are really helpful and convey what is better and fresh to have on the day without misguiding. I tried there Chicken chilly, Prawns and prawns fried rice all were perfectly cooked.

Horrible choice. We had come here hungry and tired and ordered milkshakes which were nothing but water mixed with some flavoured powder. The raspberry milkshake was the only one bearable. Most of us had a sandwich which was just plain and pathetic. Ordered an omelette toast which came with orange juice. I got myself a veg pasta, they gave us spaghetti in red sauce. I asked them to add the veggies they promised us earlier and it just got worse. Will not recommend this place at all.

As soon as you enter condolim. People from everywhere jump you to sell you a recliner seat on the beach. We went here as all looked the same.7 of us got 4 seats. You have to pay them upfront and then they vanish. Looks like they are more interested in selling seats than food or drinks. When we asked for another seat he started arguing that they only sell in pairs and we will have to buy two seats more. After arguing he gave the seat. Horrible service. Food is below average. Skip this shack. There are better ones close by<br/>

While walking on Candolim beach we stopped by at this shack for a drink. Nothing great. Overpriced alcohol, strictly ok food. Surprisingly the beer was flat :-( We ordered French fries, something you cannot go wrong with and they were ok. The fact that it is a shack the ambience is obviously good. Not a place you specially want to go to.

I came here today morning and their great salesmanship sold me 2 beds write in front,near to the sea. And that's the only plus point. They'll immediately ask for money and on payment, will forget about you. No one to get you beer or food. Everything is overpriced for the kind of service. The chicken was not fresh but quiet edible. Neither was the salad served along fresh. You can pass this one owing to the no. of options around.<br/><br/>
