But of a mixed bag, bit of a shame, but having visited De Candolim Deck Restaurant twice in the space of 3 days, I’ve had (food wise anyway) two radically different experiences. Visit 1 - summer salad and satay chicken skewers. No words other than AMAZING, sum it up. The salad at 250INR was a meal in itself, in fact i think as colourful, crunchy salads go (topped with peanuts and croutons) it was the best salad I’ve ever had. The chicken satay was gorgeous too, lovely pieces of tender white meat and a fantastic pot of hot satay sauce. Visit 2 - chicken Caesar salad and a side of fries. Oh dear, I really didn’t enjoy it. The Caesar was spoiled by limp lettuce, hard grey looking chicken pieces and a total overload of a sickly tasting sauce that looks like it had been squeezed out of a tube of processed stuff bought from a supermarket. Maybe not but I know a Caesar when I see (and taste) one and this was really not a good effort. I hate leaving food, but half of it was enough for me. Whilst the fries were ok, they looked great in fact, there were far too many of them and they were lukewarm. The service was impeccable both times, no complaints there at all, the atmosphere good, considering my visits were for lunch. Prices represent excellent value. I will visit again to see if the hit and miss experiences to date, make for a 5 ⭐️ food review or stay at 4.

A place you cannot have enough of. The best food I have had in Candolim hands-down. An experience you keep gravitating back to. Gideon and the team made me feel at home on a holiday! And that’s the power of wonderful hospitality and great food. An absolute must-visit if you are in this part of town.

Excellent food. Live atmosphere and crowd. Pricy but the quantity of food was worth it. Seat bookings are available. Overall great place to eat

Probably the best place in Candolim for everything. People watching, food , booze and information. The general manager here, Gideon, is a fountain of knowledge of all things Goan, Candolim or India in general. A must visit if in Candolim. Ace place

Food was not good, very very okay. The price at which these dishes were offered and the taste upon eating was not at all agreeable. The pizza was horrible don't even bother ordering

I recently had the pleasure of dining at De Candolim Deck Restaurant and Bar, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The restaurant offers a lively ambiance with live music, which added to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. One of the dishes I tried was the CHICKEN GARLIC NOODLES, and it was absolutely delicious. The noodles were perfectly cooked and had a generous amount of flavorful chicken. The dish had just the right amount of garlic, giving it a nice kick without overpowering the other flavors. It was a satisfying and well-balanced meal. I also had the PASTA ARABIATTA, and it was equally impressive. The pasta was cooked al dente, and the sauce had a nice spicy kick to it. The combination of tomatoes, garlic, and chili flakes created a rich and flavorful sauce that complemented the pasta perfectly. It was a simple yet satisfying dish. The service at De Candolim Deck was decent. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. They were prompt in taking our orders and delivering the food to our table. Overall, my experience at De Candolim Deck was great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal with a lively atmosphere.

Visited this restaurant at 1 30 am. It was full even then.. Liked the ambience and vibe of this place. Candolim is popular for sea food, amd i wanted to try a local cuisine, so i checked with one of the staff who suggested chonak fish / silver snapper fish, as it doesnt have any thorns.. The dish was excellent. I would highly recommend this place for sea food lovers.

The place is good to visit with friends and family members. But they need more improvement of the place so tourists will get attracted. Service is a bit slow.
