We had King Fish here and some other dishes food was delicious and the quantity was great. It's an interesting place and the owner is also generous too.. He spoke few words about goan food and lifestyle.

Decent place & food to try. We did have a couple of nights dinner takeaway from here and it was fine. Has scope to improve of course, but within the location they operate in, it's pretty decent.

Nice food, good price and friendly service.

Really enjoyed the food here. A great selection of Indian, traditional Goan, Indo-Chinese and western. Lovely staff.

Nice place to have breakfast. Very close to the beach. Had the English breakfast which was very well done. However it’s a little too expensive but you have other mix and Match options. Place is open and have plenty of seating options. Toast and sausages were well prepared, however the coffee can be much refined. The place has an old world antiquated look.

We enjoyed their breakfast. We had alu paratha, puri bhaji, ham sandwich and Choley puri. We enjoyed all of them. Our only suggestion would be to serve food a little faster because it felt like we had to wait a little. It was worth the wait though. Enjoyed everything and the owner was very kind.

I have never seen a place as hospitable as this. Amazing food and service. A lovely retro vibe of a place. The Goan sausages are a must-try!

Lovely food! And a great quirky place. While waiting for our food reading the walls and frames everywhere was really great and is certain to put a smile on your face. The staff are friendly and the food really is wonderful, good portions and great taste.

Another overrated restaurant of Goa. This one is mainly known for it's breakfast menu however the vegetarians find it tough here since choices ate limited and for non vegetarian the portion sizes are not appropriate. Though the owners are hospitable but I believe the serve can be more local friendly than attracting. Do try the dessert here

07th March

Alexandra has been serving Food for almost 35 Years. It is being Run by an Extremely Humble Lady Mrs. Anita who makes Sure Every Guest Enjoys.

The Seating was Comfortable. We came here for Breakfast at around 9:30am and it was almost full with all foreigners enjoying their Breakfast. Another good part about Alexandra was Music. At some places the music level is so Loud that its so difficult to Talk, here the Level was Apt !

We ordered -

1. Cheese Omellete ( Rs.120/-)
Well Cooked !

2. Spanish Non Veg Omellete (Rs.200/-)
(Chicken, Prawn, Onion & Tomato)
We were just Served with Omellete and there were No Fries served along. Although Omellete was Good..

3. Fresh Strawberry Juice (Rs.130/-)
I Specially asked the server to bring Fresh Natural Juice without Sugar. The moment I tasted it, it was Sweet and I could easily make out that there is artificial sugar added in it. Initially they denied, but later Mrs. Anita Accepted and made a fresh one.

4. Fresh Watermelon Juice (Rs. 100/-)

Cost for 2 was Rs. 550/-

We suddenly decided to try this restaurant and we ordered cream of mushroom soup which tasted out of the world. We then ordered prawn pakoras and dry chilli chicken which was perfectly cooked....the waiter was very cordial and though the cooking took a little time but it was worth it.. would love to visit again

We accidently hit this joint as we were staying very close to this restaurant. It was open in the early hours of the day when most of the restaurants were closed.
Had an extremely delicious breakfast ! The mushroom omlett and scrambled eggs with toast were very tasty. The bread very well roasted and served.
We also stopped here on the same day for lunch. We ate the butter fried calamari and prawns curry with rice. Both the dishes were very delicious and yummy.
The owner of this place Mr Alexandra was extremely sweet and polite. He helped us a lot during our stay in Goa. I'm sure I'm going here again when I go to goa for the mushroom omlett !
