Lovely ambiance at a restaurant on Candolim Beach Road. If you want to enjoy good food, live music, and a drink of your choice, this is the place. Try the prawn curry next time you visit, paired with a beer of your taste. I visited with my friend, not to forget Alister attending our table.. treated us well with food suggestions. Had a delightful time. A must-go for brunch, lunch, or dinner while you're in Candolim.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant! The food was outstanding, bursting with flavors that delighted my taste buds. The ambiance was so inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a memorable dining experience. The hospitality was top-notch; the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. A special shout-out to our captain, Miss Vilma, who provided exceptional service throughout our meal. Their attentiveness and genuine friendliness truly enhanced our visit. I can't wait to return to this fantastic establishment!

We loved the place very much. A new experience during the New Year time for the family. Mr. Alister made us feel like home. The food was wow.. We had the chicken sizzler and it was awesome. The music added essence to the evening and the dinner. And you know, our favorites were obliged and played. Nice place. Try it.

a very nice cafe near candolim beach. it has very nice ambience. i went there because of their live band, i had heard before about their live band and it was everything i had heard and more tbh. the food was exquisite and it didn’t take long for the staff to get it. the service was very polite and fast.

Loved everything about the place. The food was awesome and the live music was amazing. Alistair was kind enough to recommend some of the best, tastiest and spiciest dishes. I was recommended the prawns sizzler and it was the most tastiest dish!

Really nice place, good food and especially a great band. They even played a Christmas Song as a special request for me. Thomas gave us an excellent service and was super friendly and funny. I recommend to get the chicken biryani for two people, because the portion size is so big! Would definitely recommend and come again :)

I recently dined at Mickey's Place restaurant and had an exceptional experience. The food was absolutely delicious, offering a wide range of options to choose from. We went here after our visit to Aguada fort on a rainy day, seeing the ratings on Google maps. It was a great experience overall, the preparation of the food was very homely. The service was timely and we liked their seafood platter the most. Especially the sauce that it came in. Thomas was very friendly and welcoming while taking our orders, suggesting the right dishes to us. The ambience was good and the open windows let in a good amount of sunlight that gave the place an open feel. The live music further gave the place a cool vibe. Would definitely recommend. There is parking right in front of the restaurant for 4-5 cars.

It was a nice experience, spent a beautiful evening at this place with my husband. They made our moments beautiful with homely welcome and candle light dinner. Live music performance by awesome vocalist and good food is their unique combo. Moreover, this place is run by Bengali staffs, cook, server, owner everyone is bengali. Please do visit if you are in North Goa.

We, including kids loved the place. It has rustic ambience. We loved the place..<br/>We had crab Goan masala which was yummy.. Crab butter masala was also good.<br/>The caramel pudding was also awesome.<br/><br/>Kirpal Singh, who took out orders was very courteous and made some recommendations too.. which we loved.<br/>

Had been there few days back. We ordered vegetarian food. Paneer butter masala and rotis. To my surprise rotis were super. All I prefer to eat outside is non maida.. Whole wheat roti. And this place by default had thin phulka type rotis!!!Soft and whole wheat. Ambience is good and place is well maintained and hygienic . But would like to suggest use less food color after having our meal the red color from curry dint go off our fingers even after washing till next day. Food was good.. Could have been even more better without the colour.

Mikey's is a great place where you will find the owner Mike, who owns two pets,a Labrador named Mike and another one named Apple. We had a great time and dined in twice at their place. Their chilli paneer is just too good. Apart from that we tried grilled sandwiches. Will surely visit Mikey again

"No cocktails, no mocktails, no pasta, no pizza" - That's what the staff told us 2-3 times :) (And by staff, I mean only one waiter was rotating in all tables when we visited the place. But the single waiter served well at ALL the tables.) We prepared ourselves for bad food and bad service, but were in for a surprise. The food was tasty, and service was fast. Music was okish, but hey, the DJ was one among the guests, so can't complaint.<br/>Dear Management, pls get more staff (and get the older gentleman waiter to train them all :D). And compliments to the chef!!!

Staff is very friendly. Food is great. The ambiance was super. My family and i had a really good evening and a night to remember again at Mikey's.

Situated right opposite Earthern Oven restaurant on the main candolim calangute road, this place is a lovely place to try reasonably priced, authentic goan and north indaon dishes. The evening chef Arun is simply superb. I tried their Dal, paneer butter masala and tawa roti and they were exceptionally prepared. The portion size was large, the spices were nice and the preparation was delicious. My wife wanted to try some fish preparation and the chef was happy to prepare Bengali style fish and goan fish on two days and not to forget...both the times the curry and the dish were absolutely fantastic. Must visit. Definitely recommended

Mikeys place is iconic in Candolim, visited again post few years to empty restaurant in off season. I know the place will bustle from first week of october, and since i was living close by i ordered a take away of prawn curry and rice.<br/><br/>Prawn curry was nowhere close to old taste, and the chef had infused the curry with coconut milk, rather than using coconut milk powder for milk as ingredient, leaving on the plate an unpalatable dish.<br/>Prawn and Fish curry were star of Mikeys place...maybe now they are cutting corners...but still they cannot use synthetic items....they could hv made coconut milk the old way!<br/>Maybe i will not go to mikeys place again..<br/>Hopefully they will make their usually loved dishes...good again.<br/> <br/>PS The most funny thing was, that rice was packed in container belonging to copper leaf restaurant!!!!!!<br/>So is it a giveaway where the dishes are being sourced from?

The Food was undoubtedly the best as compared to the restaurants in/nearby Candolim. I visited this place on a special occasion where I had requested Michael to make  special arrangement. Had a perfect laid back late lunch here with a friend , consisting of a off the menu garlic chilly pork and a portion of perfectly cooked chicken kaffrial washed down by a couple of cold beers. Super reasonable prices , great taste , cool laid-back ambiance and to top it all a very friendly host , all that combined made this a memorable experience.<br/><br/>Highly recommended.<br/><br/>ENJOY

Reached here late so din have any options for food .. we were hungry so tried Chinese over here and it was decent <br/>Even if u give this place a miss u won’t miss much in goa 😉

You must have been to many places in and around the calangute and candolim belt....its not all about the ambiance or the look its all about that human touch....that we get to see at mikey's place in candolim.....be it their food or drinks or cocktailes....it all has that homely touch and Michael to add to the friendly and loving person to have around you ...... mickey's place rocks.....come and experience can't express...cheers Michael......

Excellent place for sea food. The fish was fresh and gravy/ seasoning was delicious. Service was prompt and friendly and helpful... The items were moderately priced..This was an amazing place to have food. We went there twice and tried a lots of dishes. Everything was great. I will definitely visit again..

This is a place on the main road which looks to be an okyish option to have your lunch/dinner however it is under rated for its high quality of food and customer service. We had Chicken Garlic, Manchurian, Pompfret Masala and every dish was finger licking.. we also requested for chicken keema which wasn’t there in the menu but the cook made it for us and it was the highlight of all of our orders here. Amazingly tasty and tangy. They strive to go to all lengths to accommodate your request which is what is a clear differentiator between this restaurant and others in the vicinity! <br/><br/>Note: Food takes time to come but its worth every minute of waiting! <br/><br/>Overall Rating:<br/>Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 4/5

We were just walking by near our hotel and that's how we found this place.We ordered few beers and ordered for Seafood cocktail and Black Pomfret Masala fry. I was little pissed off because our food order took an hour to show up and I informed Michael about it. He made sure our order was on the table within 10 minutes.<br/>But trust me the food was worth the wait!! Cos of d yummy food we ordered for  Goan Fish Curry and rice and that was Mesmerizing.<br/>Later at night we ended up at Palms N Sand, and due to the pathetic attitude of the owner of Palms N Sand we returned to Micky's place to have some yummy food and make up our night.<br/>Towards the night we had King Fish Masala Fry, Jumbo Prawns Masala Fry and Mixed Fried rice..<br/>Anyone who visits Candolim, would totally suggest them to drop by to Mikey's place for some yummy food and do ask for Michael he is such an amazing guy!!!

Good variety of prawns preparations. We were travelling with kids so they made sure it wasn’t too spicy! Very attentive and courteous staff! Will visit again next time...

This place is not best for people who goes to have only food ( not drink). They entertain only who order drinks. Takes hell lot of time ( almost an hour) to get food on table once placed an order. We visited with children waited there for almost 2 hours to get food and finally left having no food and went to another restaurant. Poor service. Arrogant staff.

Mikeys place is a Fantastic place to chill out, wether it's food your after or just a drink. The staff are really friendly and will look after you. Mikey is the perfect host and treats everyone like family. Can't wait for my next visit... x

Mikey's place is an wonderful restaurant in candolim and it is a friendly restaurant more the service is a very good and the staff is very friendly with the guests. weekly one's there is an live music in the restaurant and I will go daily once or twice to the restaurant.

Good management, great place to visit and friendly people, good food and resonable prices. Can afford with reasonable rates. Can also take bikes for rent in good rate. Always good place to visit.

We were looking for a quite, comfortable place in Candolim when we came across this place. Nice place with soft music. We tried chicken xacuti and it was really good. Also tried Manchurian and a couple of cocktails and it was all very good. Would totally recommended this place.

Connected us to WiFi. Saved us from Sun. 3.00 pm. Chilled beer. Lack of variety in fish. Overall good stop over. The service although is hospitable and prompt.

In search of a good Govanis food for luncheon by avoiding couple of places in the vicinity we finally opted  Mikey's Place, hopping this  might quench our thirst of what we are searching for, and surprisingly it turned out beyond our expectation.<br/>                Simple open seating resto - bar with free WiFi  available.The resto seems to be quiet calm since we were the only group seating out there.<br/>                  We tried couple of starters in veg, chicken, prawns, squids, and Chicken biryani and Dal Khichadi for mains. food was remarkable, super tasty, love the flavor of Govanis style prawns and rings of squids.<br/>                 Indeed.......they played some loud Bollywood  music to make our time happening.<br/><br/>                 Great hospitality.<br/><br/>                 Will come again for sure.<br/><br/>                 Cheers.........#

Nice restaurant located in Candolim. The prawns curry & chicken xacuti was nice. The prawns masala was very good. The service was very slow. They also provide free WiFi.

A very simple nice calm place to have food located at fort agoda road few meters ahead of stone house caffe and few Mtrs after redisson candolim. It is very reasonable to pocket for some nice sea food and snacks. And must try one is whole fish as per your taste and as per size,choice of fish available with them. <br/>And yummy masala paper .Mostly staff was bangoli but very nice behaved,adjustable and really good service they. I recommend this place for those who are here for stay in candolim area and do not always want to go for expansive food but good avg tasty food and to those who want some adjustment in taste according to them.

I tried a Goan dish. The food isn't that bad. But they have big banners saying "free wifi" I was the only customer and was still getting only 10kps.

Its not far from the candolim beach...it has an open sitting area ....d place is just on d way to d beach....the waiters are quite hospitable <br/>N now d food....being too tired to try several dishes, just settled for steamed rice n chicken Manchurian....chicken Manchurian was gud but oyster sauce in it was a bit more for my taste buds...as a whole, gud place ...
