Review Hotel Sagar - Candolim

Have been to this restaurant on a couple of times to have breakfast. On both occasions, I had to go to the 2nd floor as there downstairs area was filled to capacity. The ground floor space is quite narrow and has a limited number of seats. However there is a lot more space upstairs and it is brighter and has much better air flow because of the open windows on two sides. The first time I visited, the tables upstairs were still quite messy as there may have been customers all finishing their meals at the same time. However, the waiting staff cleared the tables quickly. The menu is extensive and has plenty of choices. All vegetarian ofcourse. The wait staff is attentive and the food ordered came out quickly. The rawa masala dosa (1st visit) and the masala dosa and sheera were all well prepared and tasty. The special tea to top off the meal was also quite good. The restaurant is located in a very convenient location right opposite the football ground in Candolim and next to the Candolim Tinto (market). Very close to the T junction of Pilerne Road and the Calangute-Fort Aguada Road. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good vegetarian food in and around Candolim. 👍👍👍👍

People from South India will surely like the delicious food served here. This is a place where you can get food at reasonable prices. Order a special chai and you will love it. Don't miss to have dal kichidi. Really love the taste of it and brings back the memories of your home food. Back in 2015, it was our favourite place. Now in 2022, we were searching for this place and we finally found it. They have extended and have upstairs too. Though it is small one, give it a try.

This is a very small place with top quality south indian food can say value for money in a place like Goa where food is exorbitantly expensive. They also serve very tastee north indian food as compared to other places like Navtara Navratna & Kanha .

Now to all who loves to have a meal in fancy and expensive restaurants I will say that this place is having purely delicious food and also the fact that they provide varieties in dosa and uttapam. And yes I ate some new dosa like Rawa dosa which I never have and then I really have a experience of eating in a typical South Indian restaurant which is far better than the fancy and expensive restaurants. Must visit this place if you are in search of having a simple yet delicious food. All my love to this restaurant.

Taste is great as compared to other hotels present in Calangute area. Prices are also reasonable. Hygiene & service is also good.

If you are a tea lover, this place is for you. In goa, you will hardly find a place where you find good tea at cheap rate. They have pure vegetarian food to offer and rates are also reasonably cheap. Most hotels in goa has food which are based on sweet gravy so those who love spicy food will find it difficult to get their tummy filled. But this place can be helpful to them. Cutting ratings for congested place.
