Lovely spot. On the path to the beach but without the hassle and high prices associated with the numerous shacks on the beach itself.
If you are patient you'll see many different birds flying around and in the nearby trees. The owner of the Green Grove has a well-worn reference book for identifying them and if he sees you have an interest in bird watching he may bring out his photo album which contains pictures of some of the more unusual species seen (for example the magnificent Golden Oriole!).
The food is excellent, the best I had in Candolim, and very reasonably priced.
