So here is my deatiled review about this place- Pros: 1. Excellent Beer Quality: The brewery offers a fantastic selection of beer with exceptional taste, catering to diverse preferences. 2. High Hygiene Standards: The establishment maintains commendable hygiene practices, ensuring a clean and safe environment for its patrons. 3. Pleasant Ambience: The brewery provides a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere, contributing to a relaxed and comfortable dining experience. Cons: 1. Inactive Waitstaff: The waiters' lack of attentiveness affects service quality, resulting in delayed orders and potentially impacting overall customer satisfaction. 2. Delayed Service: There were noticeable delays in receiving orders, which could be frustrating for patrons, especially when dining in a group or during busy periods. Overall Experience: The brewery offers top-notch beer and maintains a hygienic and inviting environment. However, the inactive waitstaff and delayed service detracted from an otherwise positive experience. The food quality was good but not exceptional, with dishes like the non-veg platter, chili paneer, corn, and fries meeting expectations but not standing out. The total bill of approximately 6500 for a group of four seemed reasonable for the items consumed but might have felt slightly higher considering the service hiccups.

Good food, good vibe. Went on a long weekend but it was half empty (surprising!), and they were still not accepting reservations. Found the place a bit overpriced. We had 3 starters, a salad and a beer and it costed us more than 3K. It’s good to come with friends and spend time.

Here the atmosphere is so good if you want fresh beer then you must visit there first they serve 4 types of beer & taste it. Then you choose it. Which you like & order it

Good food. A bit on the expensive side. The menu is vast and covers a lot of cuisines. We had ordered Mediterranean platter which had grilled halloumi, Hummus, pita bread, falafel etc. Dal Makhni and Paneer Lababdar are as usual the trademark of this restaurant and Hops n Grains

Great place to hangout with friends with a few drinks, the food is awesome and the vibe is amazing, loved the German boug beer, so overall it was a 10 on 10 experience

The Great Bear is the leading microbrewery of the region serving the most delicious and freshly brewed lager beer , wheat beer , mocktails , cocktails and other alcoholic & non alcoholic beverages. The starters and the munch ins and the main course menu items too are elaborate and well presented . The location is very centralised with good service . Most recommended for good times with friends and family . Well deserved to be top notch among its category of beer lounges .

If you are a beer lover looking for a great spot to enjoy a fresh brew with some delicious food look no further than The Great Bear Kitchen & Microbrewery. When I visited this fantastic place I was blown away by the quality of their beer and food. They brews their own beer on site and you can really taste the freshness in every sip. I particularly enjoyed their Weiss beer which is non filtered lager beer with pilsner and wheat malt, light and refreshing with just the right amount of hoppy flavor. The food at this place is equally impressive. From the appetizers to the entrees every dish is bursting with flavor and made with high-quality ingredients. I personally liked Panzenella salad, tandoori chicken platter and chimichuri grilled fish. The atmosphere of the cafe is also worth noting. It's a cozy and inviting space with friendly staff and a great selection of music playing in the background. It's the perfect place to relax with a group of friends or to enjoy a romantic date night. If u are looking for a great spot to grab a drink and a bite to eat, this is the place to be. .

Great food and chilling beer. The service is good and the food tastes awesome. Price is little expensive as per the quality but worth due to its taste.

The Great Bear is actually really great. We went there in a tuesday and there was a vibe even in the middle of the week. The food was great. Had spicy honey chilli cauliflower, spicy fried mushrooms and their exotic pizza. All the dishes were super tasty.

Located in sector 26 Chandigarh this is an amazing place for beer. They serve the green apple bear which can be found only here and it's amazing. This is the main reason to go to this place. Food was strictly average and service was good. Ample parking around, so should be able to find a place and pretty cheap too. Music was good not too much loud, we could talk to each other. Must try green apple bear when in Chandigarh.

Good find❗️ 1. The brewery is located bang on Madhya Marg. Serves alcoholic, non-alcoholic drinks and food. 2. In contrast to other breweries the beer testers here were not chargeable. Though I didn’t have beer but they have pretty good brews. 3. Food is just amazing. I ordered kerala style chicken and it was worth it. (MUST TRY) 4. Visted this place some time ago I must say the food is very good. There are only few places where you get good veg and non veg and this place is amongst those few. Loved the dark beer.

The place is good. Ambience is good. Loved the beer. Food is okay. Bottom line, there is alot competition in market for these kind of outlet. If you really crave for good beer. Go for it. Otherwise you'll find lot more better options in town.

Even though there are so many breweries to choose from in Chandigarh, this one remains my favorite! Everything from their beer, food, ambience to staff is lovely. I have an amazing time here each time I visit :)

Went here for dinner with the extended family.<br/>The ambience was quite loud, which could be as they were also screening a match.<br/>The sangria pitcher was below average and on asking why they didn’t serve enough fruits the staff said that the specific fruits were not available.<br/>The platters were also below average.<br/>

Have been visiting THE GREAT BEAR for more than a year now and this place is the best calm place i ever visited in Chandigarh. The ambience is great especially it’s vertical garden. The beer taste so good and nice. The food is also great with a not so heavy rates per item. Must visit.

Great ambience. Good beer. It was my third time there. Was a bit disappointed with their mexican pizza. I mean pineapple on pizzanis debatable but despite the food lets you down.

Very courteous staff and lovely attitude of the manager as well as the staff. Mr. Gambhir had welcomed us with a great gesture and gave us a surplus offer other than happy hours.

Staff and hospitality is absolutely amazing. The chef prepared me a mocktail as I described since they previously had it on the menu but had recently taken it down. Their vegerian food is excellent and the platter is my favorite.

Had party of 28 people in month of October. It was good<br/>This time we went to book venue, Manager Pawan was v rude. Rather in line of hospitality I corrected him that this is not the way u should talk to a client who has come to book again..... Yet ....ha ha ha. We booked another venue for a party. Management should contain them with basics of hospitality.
