Review Brooklyn Central - Chandigarh

Location: Perfect. Within the mall and quite big space. Service could have been a bit better. We had to wait longer in between. We har ordered Arancini balls, Wood fire pizza, Sriracha rice bowl and loaded nachos. Pizza was thin crust and great! Sriracha rice bowl was surprisingly delicious. Strongly recommended!

This stylish-looking restaurant and bar is situated on the third floor of the mall. The menu includes not just the American dishes (burgers, soups, salads, sandwiches, grills, etc) which its name points to, but also some other international favourites, from the Mediterranean, or from East Asia. We (two adults and one child) ordered a portion of sesame teriyaki chicken wings to start with, followed by a Big Bomb burger, a pulled lamb grilled sandwich, and a spicy chickpea salad with tahini dressing as mains. While every single item was delicious, the portion sizes were very large. Please check with servers while ordering to make sure you don’t make the same mistake we did.

Services are very poor, and it's hard to get a hold of the waiter. The atmosphere is good, but the seating arrangement is bad. Most of the tables are small, and if you order 3 to 4 items on the menu, there is hardly any space on the table for all the items and eat comfortably. Food is good and bad, so it's mediocre, so first I ordered a sandwich, which was good, and then the coffee portion was not good. There was a lot of froth and very low amount of acutal coffee. Denver Burger is good it's tasty, but everything is dry. If you eat the food, you will feel dry. You will need at least ketchup of some sort or some drinks along with it. I was disappointed with nachos dish it was not freshly prepared it was packaged food of the brand cornitos jalapeños flavor, and the salsa they provided was also packaged item. Only good things were fresh fries they were tasty.

As soon as you step into the restaurant, the lively ambiance and modern decor immediately captivate your senses. The urban-chic setting, coupled with cozy seating arrangements, creates the perfect environment for an enjoyable meal with family or friends. They have “buy one get one” deal on limited items every Monday and Tuesday.

My favorite place to dine in India. I love it. Normally I don’t go to the same place often or even twice but Brooklyn central has captured my heart completely. It’s a love story

Ordered burrito bowl, coffee, shake, burger. Entire preparation was above par. Staff was helpful too and quantity was also sufficient. There are good offers available which further increase the scope of ordering different varieties. Plus ambience is a good fusion between fine-dine and a cafe.

Excellent ambience to this place. You feel like you are in some Brooklyn cafe in actual ordered the coffee that comes in big mugs not like other cafés in disposable or small cups. We were early so they accommodated well. Great customer service the waffles were not on the hard side they could have managed it better overall experience 5 star Recommended

Delicious authentic American food! The lamb steak is a must try. The steak is really juicy and full of flavour. The side of mashed potatoes and veggies compliment the steak very well. The highbrow steak is also great. The food is great and wonderful. The drinks are good. They’re reasonably priced and the ambience and interiors are wonderfully done.

Brooklyn Central is one of my favourite restaurants. They have a quiet ambience which is perfect for a meal. Their menu has a lot of options and their service is super quick.

Why I have to give dis place one star bcoz the place don't deserve a single star. I visited this place on saturday at 2:45 and what a horrendous mistake it was. To start with, as we entered the restaurant all the sitting places with sofas were reserved, when we enquired about dat v were told dat dey were reserved for someone coming at 3 pm but which were still vacant when we left at 4:30. Believing dem ve ordered our food which was fish and chips, three cheese pasta in alfredo sauce with chicken along with caffe latte and fresh lime soda. First of all dey served latte Which was more lyk iced coffee, still we thought food might be good so we waited. But we were in for a bigger shock, when the fish arrived the batter of the fish was very hard, oil soaked and fish was ultra soggy so the result was dat it was impossible to eat them with fork and knives. So the fish was more lyk you eat at roadside rehris. In addition to dat the fries which was the side dish, were empty from inside. At that point of time, we thought enough was enough and decided to call chef. But dat was our another mistake as wen we asked him the difference between iced coffee and latte, he could not answer it, wen asked about the batter of fish and sogginess of fish he was unable to answer. When asked about the fries, he said these were frozen fries who were heated and served. Obviously dat was the reason behind empty fries because they were frozen for so long and one doesn't expect dem to use frozen fries at the price dey are charging. So we decided not to eat fish and fries and shared the pasta. We decided not to order anything else as we just wanted to get out of that place as soon as possible. So we asked 4 the bill and dat was another shocker as after horrendous food and terrible service dey were charging service charge. It is to be noted here dat barely a week ago nandos was imposed penalty of rs 12000 for levying service charge and a drive was on at restaurants across Chandigarh to ensure non levying of service charge. So wen we asked the manager about it he said he knew all about it but dey will levy service charge. Further he said, " 4 case mujh pe pahli hi chal rhe hai is matter pe, tum bhi kr lena". These were the lines he said, Hearing all dis and controlling myself from smacking him in his face, we decided to leave the restaurant and pursue matter in consumer forum. Therefore If u don't want to get mentally and physically irritated, plz don't visit dis place.

Food was wayyyyyyyyyyyy of mark Even a basic pizza was dry ...the bacon wrapped prawns were a disappointment and the lamb shank was a complete disaster ..dry ..tasteless Like an idiot even after such a meal we ordered a cheesecake on the recommendation of the waiter ..and it was not even edible Chandigarh ..seriously avoid this place

Worst service of my life.... My sister recommended the place to be great but it was a waste of an evening... I went to Brooklyn Central with a friend... Had to wait for 45 minutes after which the server came with a bottle and just put it the edge of the table and went away..... Then we ordered food and it came on time.. As they were serving everyone I thought they would do the same and again he just placed the food items on the edge and turned away without doing anything... It was not that we were expecting anything but as they were serving everyone so we felt a little ignored.. The food was fine... 20 minutes after that the server came and put the bill on the table while I was having my meal, now that was the time when they ticked me off, I checked the sitting area which was mostly vacant and thought does it even make sense to do that, they are not overbooked or anything.... After that I went up to the manager and narrated the whole incident and wanted to check why only on our table it happened... To which he replied "Galti se ho jaata hai sir" and did not even say a word to the staff... They tried to compensate by giving us complimentary banoffee pie which we were in no mood to touch even.... Spoiled my evening... Worst dining experience.... Never going back again!

Amazing food.. The best Red Velvet i ever had !! Plus The drinks menu.. right from mocktails to cocktails is amazing !! The flavours are too good. I loved the Penne Alfredo pasta and not to forget The lamb !! Overall a great place to visit with family and friends. No chance of dissapointment at all 😊

The food is nowhere close to the mark of the eateries around it. Though the quantity offered was good, the cheese used in the dishes tasted more of like traditional ghee. Not at all valuable for money!

Over hyped place. Worst experience. So we ordered Pasta, Mexicano pizza, Shakes and lime. First of all the staff took order and they said we forgot the pizza just ridiculous. Then the pizza they got after like 20-30mins more was all cool and the cheese was so hard and mushrooms tasted stale. Aroma of the place was hell disturbing felt like sitting near some garbage. Horrible experience won’t ever suggest someone.

Loved the portion size and the friendly staff of the restaurant. Among the food items, I loved the onion rings which are served along with two dips. :))

We visited the Brooklyn Centre at Elante mall on our trip to Chandigarh. The food here was awesome.<br/>We totally loved the food and the vibe of the place.<br/><br/>We ordered the Margehritta Pizza and there is was delicious. The crust was crispy just the way we like it.<br/><br/>We also loved the nachos and we highly recommend the same.<br/><br/>The garlic bread was also very nice.<br/><br/>The staff was also very courteous and helpful and the service was quick.<br/><br/>Overall a very satisfying experience and will surely visit again when in Chandigarh.

We ordered pasta - basil and tomato and pizza the Greek . But the finger licker was the cheesecake shake that is a must try , the caramel sauce and popcorn , and that cheesecake so soft and delicious . Pasta was so great as well , a must have .

Last weekend I visited Brooklyn Central for the lunch friends and I was very impressed with the sophisticated high ceiling American style decor. Having large open kitchen and huge blackboard style menu with burgers, pizzas, seafood, stuffed chicken, and Asian fusion dishes. <br/>When it comes to seating they have for you their very comfortable lounge sofas in the courtyard.<br/>I chose "salsa and chips" and three cheese pasta. A friend of mine order a Ham the burger and it was huge, and served in a brown bread burger bun, with a side of spicy fries. The presentation was excelllent. I found the price for food quite reasonable particularly as it is in Elante mall. The service from staff was very attentive.<br/><br/>Great place to chillax with friends.

it was a good time there. i usually just go thr for the Hoegaarden Beer on tap. ( it's heavenly) but was out ot stock so had to drink Bira instead. food is okaish nothing great.

Starting with Phe and some beer- Phe was below average and beer was smooth. as heaven. Wine was from Grover's and we were charged a real premium for that average bottle ! :/<br/>The veg starter platter was yum. It had onion rings, nachos and cheese filled patties. The platter was a great buy for a large group of people. Moving on to the best dish of the night - Lasagne! Both veg and non -veg options were out of this world and we couldn't get over the brilliance of it's preparation. We ordered a pizza as well, quite average to be honest. The menu is longg and will spoil you with choices. Don't get lost, ask the waiters for recommendations- they are helpful.<br/>To end the meal on a high, we ordered the New York and Red Velvet Cheesecakes- both of them were yummmmy! of the best in town. Do save some space for desserts, you might regret not having them.<br/>The place is a slightly upscale lounge setting and hence expensive. But it is worth every penny and a must visit when in Chandigarh! 😇

I ordered a plate of chicken wings and fusilli pasta both of which turned out to be finger-licking delicious! The menu offers a lot of variety to choose from starting with classic all time fav dishes to international dishes. Fagita, tortilla... You name it you pretty much have it. The prices don't dig a whole in your pocket. You can either sit in the cafe or outside in the courtyard,to your fancy. The vibe is just right.

I tried this place after seeing the rating on zomato.but it was a big disappointment.we order some nonveg for starter.but nonveg were raw .<br/>For main course we ordered one chicken item & one mutton. But the chicken was too bland &lacked flavours completely.and the mutton were same the flavour were very bad&testeless. The only star i have given is for the sangria which was excellent.but that doesn't deny the fact that it was one of my worst dining day at elante.

Tried baked fusilli & Chicken Cobb Burger with beer.<br/>Pasta was 4/5, had good quality cheese, sauce tasted well, could have been little spicier. Garlic bread was average.<br/>Burger 3½/5<br/>Healthy non-fried chicken patty with iceberg, onion and two micro chunks of avacado. The burger lacked in taste. The red sauce provided along was not complementing so we had to order 2 other sauces. Fries were fine.<br/>Ambience was good.<br/>

Loved this creamy oreo shake from brooklyn central. It was topped with lots of cream, oreo cookies and had a scoop of ice cream. If u are a shake lover, this definitely is worth trying. Highly recommend.

Brooklyn central is one of the best eateries that I have been to in Chandigarh. The fact that it tries to keep the American cuisine's taste intact is commendable. I have been to this place much more than a couple of times and I have tried out most of their dishes (in veg though). From Burgers to Hot Dogs, White sauce pasta to sphagetti arrabiata, from cold coffee to mocktails, from sizzlers to platters. Almost everything has been quite satisfying when it comes to taste.<br/>Except for one thing which I tried on my last visit. The "MEZZE PLATTER" . It was listed on their new menu so we went ahead and ordered it only to regret it later. To compensate on the distasteful experience, we got ourselves RED VELVET CHEESECAKE. The plus point is that it is on the ground floor. It has good ambience and courteous staff. We had potato wedges, a mocktail, Oreo sundae and a chocolate pastry. There are two big TVs for you to watch sports and they have bogo offer on Monday and Tuesday which is a decent offer for which they also have a set menu. Overall this place will give you a good experience.

Always always love going to this place. The best thing apart from their food is their ambience. It is so calming and refreshing. <br/>Tried their big daddy burrito bowl. A mixture of beans, corn , salsa, spinach and rice. Very healthy and super yummy. Proper spice and tasted so gooood. <br/>And their coffee never disappoints.

Saucy, tangy and well baked...<br/>Hash brown Potato pancake 🥞 - A uniquely curated pancakes from potato topped with sautéed mushroom and tomatoes, cream cheese, jalapenos, pickled cucumbers, beans and lettuce. All the vegetables used in the dish were fresh. This dish had volcano of flavors, pancakes were crunchy yet tender. Must admit I was aghast when I had its first bite.. Must Must try delicacy...<br/><br/>CAFE MOCHA -Had velvety, smooth flavor. Was not much chocolaty. Its smooth flavor of mocha makes it one of my fav mocha in town. I love their lattes too.<br/>Super Healthy Tutti Fruitty Smoothie - This smoothie that I had was delicious, Yummmm and healthy option what else do you need... It was a mix of many fruits like raspberry, strawberry, blueberry and banana blended with orange & pineapple juice and yogurt. The best part of this was that I could literally taste the flavor of every fruit used in it in this beverage. Awesome Package isn't it guys...<br/><br/>Now let’s move to the Star ⭐️ of their Restaurant "The RED VELVET CHEESE CAKE" - I literally slaver when I think about this red velvet one. I would recommend every foodie of town to try Red Velvet Cheesecake here and I can swear that it’ll be your forever favorite. It just melts in mouth leaving delightful taste. It was very tender and the sweetness was just perfect. It's not only beautiful in taste bot also looks attractive when served. Its piece is placed nicely over drizzled chocolate and top of it triangular pieces of chocolate was kept as if of crown 👑 <br/><br/>Their staff is polite however service is little slow...

The most favourite place to visit at all times. Great food especially the bbq chicken wings and corn dogs. The ambience at all times is just apt. The staff is cooperative and polite.

I love Brooklyn Central. Recently, I went for lunch to this restaurant. Brooklyn Central is located in the courtyard of the Elante mall it has an open feel with large windows. Typical cafe setup. We were seated by the window. Unfortunately, the restaurant needs to spruce up its cleanliness standards.<br/>The ambience and vibe are pretty good. Ordered the All Americano three-cheese alfredo penne, Ferrero rocher shake and kit kat freak waffle. Ferrero Rocher was super extra sweet but the pasta was just perfect. The kit kat waffle was not up to the mark, Lil overcooked.<br/>The place has always been my favourite but improvements are always good.

I love brooklyn central just bcz of chef vijay... he is an awsm chef and the food prepared by him is always mind blowing. The best thing about this place is open kitchen ... today I order online the freshness of food was the same and taste was awsm as like I eat in Brooklyn itself. I love spinach rice and without cheese pizza prepared by chef ... it’s awsm ....Brooklyn is 🔥lit place and chef is also 🔥.

Another favorite place of mine to hang out with friends. The ambiance is vibrant, food is delicious, and the service is excellent.&nbsp; The LIIT here is actually lit, kinds of pasta are worth trying, and the cheesecake is super tasty.

We ordered chicken platter (Strictly chicken). Frankly it was waste of money and time. Everything in the platter was tasteless and chicken was either dry or bland.This was my second visit to this place and the second experience was worst in terms of food.

This is my fav place to enjoy American food in Elante. They serve great food and superb desserts. Love the archini balls , sauted veggies , chicken burger and the cottage cheese steak. Their cheesecake is mouth melthing and something that you wouldn't want to miss on .

|Chargrilled Vegetables with Spinach Rice|<br/>This dish from is perfect when you are on a diet or you want something healthy to eat but don’t want to compromise on taste. The rice were aromatic and tasted great. Vegetables were perfectly grilled and had a smoky kind of flavour to them. They were served with their in house honey pesto sauce which was the highlight for me.<br/>Brooklyn Central has an amazing menu. It’s desserts and coffee are worth trying. Ambience is great too.<br/>

Terrible Service. Ordered cheese cake for dessert and it nice but not too tempting. The burgers were extremely delicious though and the chicken wings were great too. Service was the extreme downside. Waiter was nice but there were too many people and waiter obviously wasn't able to deal with everyone at a time. Obviously like how will he. They really need to get more people as waiter there. Had to wait atleast 2-3 minutes for service and even others workers were not paying much attention to us as customers. The nice food earned the stars for the place.

Went to Brooklyn Central for lunch. The place is very well decorated and the burgers are amazing.Staff is good.We also had a Lasagna which was really yum.

This is a chic and cozy place to go. The warm lighting and the music makes it all the more welcoming. Their coffee is delicious and way better than other overrated restaurants, next-door. We had the "Backyard Fire-Roasted Veggie Sandwich", along with our mochas. It tasted weird at first, mostly because it was a culmination of flavours we had never tasted together before, but eventually grew on us and we ended up loving it. I've also had their "Banoffee Pie in a Jar" before, and it is one of the best I've had in the city! The chef was right there, and he seemed like a very nice and warm personality. The waiters were friendly, as well. Would love to visit again.

I am from Delhi and been to so many cafes but never relished my food and drinks so much before. Each and every item that I ordered tasted beyond my expectations. <br/>The service quality is also satisfactory especially the manager on duty was very prompt and humble. <br/>Definitely going to visit the place again !!

Ambience is good<br/>The staff was okayish not really good<br/>We ordered kitkat waffle for 430 bucks and it wasn't worth it . The nuts were really hard and the waffle had a banana slice and honey I mean it was a really weird combo and when we asked the staff to exchange or return it they refused .<br/>I dont think any eating place which does not serve the customers well deserves good rating. We just paid the bill and came .the waffle was hopeless not even worth eating ,it had apples , 4 kitkat pieces and a little bit of nutella and one oreo lol.<br/>Hopeless experience

OMG did i just drool over that cheese cake that too a red velvet one.<br/>And the lasgna omg it is too die for. Such amazing use of cheeze and that layer of vegetables. It is just so amazing.<br/>Must visit. A bit expensive but totally worth the Money.

Good music, even live music too is out of the world experience, the staff is very well behaved and proactive, the live kitchen is delight to see the chefs rolling out the orders, fish and chips, various burgers as well as pasta are out of the world.

Could have rated this place a 10 on 10 if possible. Love everything i have tried from their menu. Their burrito bowl is the best. Mac and cheese is to die for.

A place that can never disappoint any one! Anyone looking for quality food and a relaxing lunch here is a place to go without thinking twice. They are innovative and extremely good at service. Orders placed : grilled fish with lemon butter sauce and noodles (made of rice yay!) and a chicken lasagna. The chefs make a perfect blend of everything that you want in your food! My craving for authentic Italian pizza was satisfied by Brooklyn central. This place is litt!, would definitely visit again to try other stuff.

Today I will like to give 0 star. I am a very very old customer . Initially everything was good here. Now i think they are spoiled and have forgotten old customers. Restauranrs run due to old customers. You can be never in life rude to any customer specially old customers and ladies. I belong to army family. Today it was so bad. Thisis is a place where you can go and will return back within 0 seconds as all seats are reserved. My mother has a backache problem. I told them. Instead of making some comforting zone for her she was told to empty the place by 8. EXTRRMELY RUDE BEHAVIOUR.AND ALSO TELL ME IF ANYONE CAN SEE THE OPTION OF BOOKING A TABLE HERE ? Went to this place recently, tried their cold coffee with brownie bits, its was very yummyyyy .... barbeque pizzaa was just toooo gooooood and also the chicken salad was very yummmyyyy n.

Decided to celebrate our success at the Punjab and Haryana High Court with a visit to Brooklyn, a place highly recommended by my friends in Chandigarh. However, we were aghast to be served a live fly in our chips with salsa. To our surprise, the manager turned defensive instead of just apologising. If you feel comfortable with flies in your food, this is the place to be.

What a place for Dine in. From the Manager to the chefs everybody is keen to serve you better, just raise your eyes and they are there for your help. Food is AAAAAAmazing, you know what I mean. Extra ordinary hospitality I have ever get. Thums up guys. Keep it up.

Is this the best restaurant or what! Literally everything I've ever ordered here has stunned me beyond expectation. We ordered veg platter, visually stunning, taste more appealing than the visuals. 3 mocktails, all tasted brilliant. Onion rings lead us to a fight, everybody more than their share. Pizza, beautiful and tasty. We ordered the one with spinach and cheese, great flavour and texture. Grilled banana and toffee is the best dessert on the face of earth. Period. Please come to Delhi already!

This place really serves amazing food with classy service. Order any shake from the menu and you will be amazed. Sitting is quit comfortable , and on the top they serves 1+1 on Mondays and Tuesdays on food and soft drinks. A big fan of you guys.

Great food with nice ambience. This is the place to chit chat with friends or family over cup of coffee and ofcour tuse with lovely food , music is quite nice. Servers are polite and friendly. Surly will visit again. Keep it up guys.

Food was amazing at this place. Must try the BBQ whiskey chicken wings!<br/><br/>However, they need great improvement on their service, had to call out to the waiters every time, even for plate clearance. Needs a bit more attention to detail. I would have rated 5 star just on basis of their food if I opted for takeaway but I do expect good service if I am spending 3K on my lunch.

Loved their shakes and food was top class quality , fell in love with strictly chicken from their menu ❤️ plus the ambience is so retro , totally old hollywood glam.

Good interiors and location. However the service was incredibly slow, especially for Sunday brunch hour. Even french fries took more than 10 minutes. Fried too long so slightly bitter. The full breakfast was average and sausages, grilled tomato overcooked. Vietnamese grilled fish was also unremarkable. Curry flavour of the noodles was drowned by the white tangy sauce on the fish. The charred vegetables are a good idea but need to be done better. Some of them were burnt and too dry. Extensive menu, but after today not sure I'll want to turn up again to try the rest.

Went for lunch to this restaurant . Located in the courtyard of the Elante mall it has open feel with large windows. Typical cafe setup. We were seated by the window. Unfortunately the restaurant needs to spruce up its cleanliness standards. The seats were stained with food on the floors. Ordered the jardo and brooklyn kick mocktails. Jardo had a synthetic taste but the brooklyn kick was good. Ordered the Hanoi grilled fish. Has a peculiar taste so best avoided. The warm chicken salad, fully loaded nachos and burrito bowl were in large quantity and suffice two people with large appetites. The taste is good but did not breach any flavour barrier. They have the perfect location, good foot fall but need to explore better flavours and more value for money
