Review Wah Ji Wah Restaurant - Chandigarh

Lollipop chaap is amazing! 5/5 for that. But the WFC chaap was a 3/5. Too hard on the outside and too dry on the inside. Also got billed for a full plate even though I requested for half. Overall 4.5/5.

Wah Ji Wah is one of my favorite champ places in Tricity. This place will never fail to serve you the best food. The service is amazing. The quality and quantity of the food is amazing. All the dishes are amazing. I tried champ platter and lemon champ both of which are mouth-watering. Ambiance is similar to eating food on a roadside. There are a lot of tables outside. So no worries for having a seat to eat.

We ordered gabroo combo which has 2 pieces of 5 different flavored Chaap combos. It was for 400/-. It is an ideal meal for 3 people, not recommended for 2. Order tandoori roti to accompany the flavorful Chaap. The achari and amritsari Chaap are best in flavors. Gravy Chaap with rumaali roti is also a good combination seen on many tables. Usually there is waiting of 5-10 minutes on weekend for seating.

This restaurant is located near sector 34. The food is tasty and the quantity is far better than other restaurants. If you order any one item, one person cannot eat properly at least two people can complete the plate .

if wah ji wah does not deserve a 5 star rating then which place does? The concept of chaap were introduced and made famous by them in chandigarh. I think it's the one of the oldest place running on business still. If you are going to the very first time please please order lollipop chaap and you will thank me later for sure. Pros - 1. Located at the very edge of and then again very first shop seeks attention of every other passerby of sector 34. 2. They have made so many chaaps but you are going to order lollipop chaap everytime once you taste it. 3. After eating one plate (8 pieces) I think you will be feeling full and don't need anything else to eat now. 4. Their service is good too. I have done both - dine-in and takeaway and I don't think everytime I waited more than 5-8 mins to get what I ordered. 5. Well hygiene is maintained. Cons - 1 . Chaps are little expensive but then again it will feel expensive to the first time buyers after having them once one will feel it's worth. 2 In dine-in too many people comes in evening and they have to up their game in this area for sure. Because standing for so long irritates the consumer. 3. For the very 2nd reason some people remain in their car which is not parked but placed on one side of main road and eats in their car which leads to jamm at the lights. 4. Ambiance is not at par with new franchises getting open today. for ambiance 2/5. On a final note no one in chandigarh can beat chaaps of wah ji wah.

A perfect go to place in Chandigarh for anyone to satiate their hunger for Chaaps. They offer variety of Chaaps , Desi Chinese and North Indian options. Their Chaaps are definitely worth trying and you will come again to get some more. Definitely try their WFC fried chaap, lollypop chaap and Garlic Naan PS- it's a pure vegetarian outlet

There are a few things that are very good. We tried lollipop chap, Afghani Malai chap, and dahi kofte. Those were very good. However, crispy corns and amritsari chap were not that much tasty. Overall, its a good place to visit.

My favourite place because i am vegetarian and there was is all dishes are veg.

Wah ji wah is a delicious soya place.....they have too many varieties of soya snacks and main course...i strongly recommend this place for soya chaap lovers..... I liked it due to their taste. Even though they take a bit time to cook food but when you get for meal you will say the time they took was good.. and food was awesome. The sitting chairs have been removed. Very less space to stand and eat. But food is like awsome🤟🤟🙈😲❤

We had nuggets and chap sabji. Liked the former but not the latter.

One of the fabulous place for eating variety of chaaps. I like their KFC style chaap and Lollypop chaap. Different combos are available at the counter and all are worth it. Sitting capacity is not that good but service and quality of food is good enough.

If you are in Chandigarh and looking for best food and snacks then it is the perfect place with perfect taste. They serve only vegetarian food. Dining facility is not available। They are perfect in soya chaps and tandoori dishes. Rate are justified with taste and quality.

They serve best chaps, but today due to rush they have made their chaps very spicy, order tandoori chap roll but it was difficult to finish, my mouth was burning after eating the roll.

I recently dined at Wah Ji Wah and had an amazing experience. The food was absolutely delicious, with flavors that left my taste buds wanting more. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided excellent service throughout my meal. I highly recommend Wah Ji Wah for a delightful dining experience.

This place serve really good varieties of soya chaap and is also 100% veg. the taste is really good and i would consider it one of the best place for soya chaap in chandigarh.<br/>My personal favorites are-<br/>-chaap dum biryani<br/>- peri peri chaap<br/>-chaap burger <br/>- cheese chilli chaap

Lot of variety in soya champs and very different and unique concepts also, but taste is not the same everytime, sometimes its tasty and sometimes the food tastes different.

Worst experience ever ! RUDE AND ARROGANT STAFF !<br/>We visited and ordered 3-4 popular appetizers with Wah Ji Wah with the order number 21. After waiting for 40 minutes and checking with the servers 4-5 times I inquired and stood near the order window now. To my shock, I saw that they were serving order number 37 and asking me to wait even more saying that your order is still not ready. Surprisingly we had the same order as on order number 37. It seems that they are in the habit of billing people and taking more orders than they can handle. I was upset not about the delay but the arrogance the servers and people at the order counter displayed. They were not at all bothered by the service issue I had and their arrogance confirmed that they believe that since now they have an established name, they don&#039;t need too value service and customer satisfaction.&nbsp;<br/><br/>I have no complaints for the taste they offer or how busy they are. BUT THEIR ARROGANCE AND LACK FOR CUSTOMER RESPECT is something I would never accept.

Yes wah ji wah can say they do justice to their name... had ordered so many time.... they have amazing dahi kababs...melt in mouth... their chesse chilly dry is to die for with garlic naan...so a must try place for vegetarians in tricity

The nice place for chaap lovers. It offers huge variety of chaap and other north indian food along with snacks. I tried chaap only and its really good.<br/>We orderedK KFC Chaap, Lolllipop chaap, Keema chaap combo and achari chaap.<br/><br/>KFC chaap and Keema chaap are much better than other two. Service is okay and not much waiting time. Sitting arrangement is there but obviously you cant expect healthy environment. But eating snacks on road side counter is a different feeling all together. Ordered Spcl thali.. qty was comparatively less especially paneer but taste was too good and the dal and sabzi almost made up quantity wise.. If that's handled then it'll be a constant favourite 5 star item

This is a very lovely place specially for vegetarians..... Its taste is so yummy. People who fond of chaamp can feel the taste of chicken with vegetarian quality.... Lovely

The service is the worse, asked for a table order they provided me a packed food and after complaing they just provide me the plates to unpack myself on the table and help myself. When asked for plates completely denied. Talking about the food got uncooked lollipop.

Their speciality is in soyabean items, but not a single item has been listed for online orders, instead for formality purpose these gentlemen have listed just two items<br/>1. White sauce pasta- 100₹<br/>2. Red sauce pasta - 100₹<br/>And for this also the consumer has to order atleast TWO quantities beacause the minimum amount to order online has been kept 200₹.<br/>I mean how rude are they to their consumers.<br/>

Tried Churi Churi chaap today.It was unexpectedly tasty, layered with orange sauce and gave a very nice smoky flavour in the mouth.A must try for sure.We took a half plate today fearing the risk but next time definitely gonna order a full plate.The best thing is that it is freshly cooked.<br/><br/>

Heard a lot about their Chaap as it is famous in the whole chandigarh and also, Price is much higher than the other Chaap vendor across streets but that’s not an issue as you are going to a quality place and they are taking their price of cleanliness. So, we ordered The most famous Churi Churi chaap and Peri Peri chaap with Rumali Roti and Virgin Mojito. Churi Churi chap is basically Malai Chaap but a little spicier than the local market malai chaaps. Peri Peri chaap is basically Spicier version of Cheese Chilly with pieces of Paneer changed with Chaap. When we just received the Churi Churi chaap after waiting for around 12-13 minutes, it was cold af. We gave it back and they reheated it and gave it back to us. It was tasty and gravy was really damn delicious but talking about the softness and richness of the chaap, chaap wasn’t soft at all, it was hard from the corners and may be over cooked and dry. Peri Peri chaap was good but the Onion and Capsicum were not cooked properly and were raw. I would suggest you to give them a Try and taste them as my sister liked the churi churi chaap and I got it packed in the last for takeaway, so it was prepared after my lot and may be, there was a problem with my lot. Rumali Roti was just okay and it was small as compared to other Rumali Rotis I had at other places. The Best thing which I just loved about this place was Virgin Mojito😍❤️. I can go all the way to this place just to get one glass of Virgin Mojito😍. It doesn’t have any overpowered flavours, doesn’t include any artificial flavours, is not prepared with Sprite or Limca and is prepared with Soda. That Virgin Mojito is just perfect👌🏻🌸. But the catch about this is, the glass is too small (around 300ml) at the cost of ₹60😬🙁. Request the vendor, not to put the ice in the glass and to just pour the drink without ice in the glass. It was nice dining at Wah Ji Wah sector 34. The food was mouth watering. I ordered chaap nuggets, Chaap Hot Wings. Great fun I love it. I would recommend it to everyone to have chaap nuggets.

The Best Soya Chaap that I had was at Wah ji Wah. The chaap that is served is just amazing and die for stuff. The price is very reasonable for the taste that is served. I strongly recommend everyone to visit the place one in a time to taste the amazing soya Champ. The Churi Churi Champ was best.

My experience with the guy sitting on the billing counter was good but the guy who was sitting near the order window was so rude and ill mannered. He argued with me and also ruined my dish. Wah ji wah was on my favourite list since 2012 but now the food and the staff standards are not the same.<br/>This was the worst experience i ever had with any of the restaurants i have visited till now.<br/>A permanent good bye from an old customer.

Best place to eat chaap in Chandigarh😊😊 but not a good place to order food online. I ordered once from them and it was all soggy and not worth the money. They specialise in chaap and if you are a big fan of chaap this place is a must visit. Prices are little high as they are in demand and serving very delicious food from a very long time but don't visit the place to eat any Chinese food.

There is a huge difference of quality & quantity issue at home delivery,seriously i would not think again about to online order of Wah Ji Wah 34.
