This cozy restaurant has left the best impression. Very inviting and zen-like ambience, hospitable hosts, amazing food and a wide wine list. Had come for lunch, we left post dinner! 😁 Wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend!

The place is gracefully located on the backside of the market. The closed and open areas are both carefully designed to provide a wonderful experience. The ambience is decent enough to have personal discussions and enjoy the delicious food. The staff is very cooperative and quick in providing the service.

Beautiful place and vibe to have a meal/ enjoy with friends. Candle light setting, think before whom to come with, as didn’t feel to be much of parents sort of place. Got complementary bread which could have been more fresh nd hot.

The Aura of the cafe was amazing. Very nice place to click pictures .last but not least the Food.…omg it was so amazing must say try it. I ordered mushroom white sauce pasta and veg lasagna. It was really really yummy.

Perfect place for a candle light date, has good vibe. Service is also very good. Book early for a better seating in a "cottage". We had pizza and garlic bread and some drinks. Drinks were decent but the food was really good.

Beautiful place and extremely spacious. A nice modern but rustic look and the tables are spaced quite far from each other so you can hold private conversations softly without the need to shout. I believe the place has live music too sometimes. We had one vegetarian falafel and hummus starter and one full baby chicken roasted and believe me it was more than enough for three of us. We weren't too hungry but looking at the quantity of left overs I am sure it would have been sufficient even if we were famished. The quality of the food was excellent and the quantity too.

Owing to the fact that place is so fab and amazing, one must look to book your table in advance specially on weekends else one may have to wait for quite sometime which may exceed to even an hour to find a place to sit. Cottage is a beautiful, ambient yet small cafe that boasts of presenting Italian, Mediterranean and a little Indian cuisine on platter with a recent new delicacies in the offing. On my recent visit, I tried veg empanadas, barley tomato soup and barley aranchini- all of which were absolutely delectable! And for the mains I had the takeaway order of the newly added mutton kosha with Indian flatbread which was alright. The mocktails were okay too. I would have preferred them to be on lighter side of sweet though. My little pointer will be for the seating arrangement especially outdoors in this hot weather where no ample fans were provided (one short circuited right before us) or even AC that were found dysfunctional! As the inner seating is quite limited, it goes without saying that they need to buckle up with managing the the outdoor seating arrangement better. The staff though is prompt and polite however it would be nice if they are a bit more attentive towards the customers especially if they need something in between meals and drinks, because it took me a while to have their notice as the place is dim lit. However this place provides a calm, soothing ambience with a delectable culinary experience which needs to be on your calendar if you are ever around! 👍🏻

Such a nice restaurant, to spend time with your loved ones, food is owsum, with the topping of its ambiance, marvelous entry, and the service is very fast, easy to find the parking. Must try , Recommended for the couples.

Excellent place, pleasantly surprised by the huge portion size and great service. The food and drinks were exceptional, especially the Cheese Chilly Baked Potatoes and Spicy Mango Mocktail. The ambience just looks like it belongs on a beach and it's an excellent addition to the buzzing gourmet scene in our city.

I chose a beautiful cabana to sit in. Sunlight pouring in through the glass ceiling I was already enjoying the Mediterranean vibe, Picture perfect!<br/><br/>On my plate:<br/>Mushroom Pot Pie: this savoury pie is made with 4 types of mushrooms, carrot, green peas, onions and garlic mixed with cream & parmesan cheese cooked in a clay pot topped with a golden baked puff pastry. Served with crisp potato wedges and baked broccoli, asparagus, baby corn, peppers this pie is tummy filling and scrumptious!

I had dined a month back with my friend, i wanted to customize my meal where i requested to change pork with egg which the waiter denied on spot which was very rude. 2nd thing we were eating our 1st course and the waiter smartly brought our 2nd course not even asking us weather we are ready or not .

Most reviews talked about the ambience, which was really good. But I think I enjoyed the food and the drink just as much! Specially the appetiser that we ordered — Roasted Broccoli & Mushroom Pate - lip smacking good. They have a good enough selection of drinks. And I loved the cocktail, Sky Thai — very refreshing and not sweet. And finally the amazing service, which made our experience even better. Oh! And not to forgot the super comfortable seat cushions. Cottage has got lovely rustic ambience but the only problem is inconsistency of the service. Some of the food like cottage cheese steak chocolate dessert is too good while hummus and pita and their coffee is quite bad. The staff is average and not very quick with work so that is another turn off. We asked for the ingredients and they kept sending another person to answer who didn't have complete knowledge

Food was good. I loved their tomato barley soup. They have a lovely ambience that leaves one awestruck. I think the staff can be more humble.

The pace is very nice with light music but pasta without veggies is like fish without water and prices are which means you should put some veggies without extra money to be paid for veggies 😞 but staff is excellent 😊😇 must try once good place 🥰

Let's start with saying, one of the best places I have visited till now in terms of the vibe.<br/>Absolutely loved the thoughtful decor and ambiance which actually justifies the name 'cottage'. It has an inside and outside seating arrangements and both are equally lovely!<br/>Coming to the food... Yes a little overpriced but everything that we ordered was delicious!<br/>We ordered beer and kafir lime chicken for starters, and it really had that strong essence of kafir lime that I was looking for. And the mains, chermoule chicken was tasty and filling !<br/>Oh and did I mention, the welcome bread and the garlic bread that we ordered were amazing! Surely a delight for bread lovers like me 😛<br/>Though a little heavy on the pocket but would highly recommend for the ambiance, food and prompt service.<br/>And I might just go again for the very tempting desert menu that I couldn't have coz I was too full 😆

Cottage offers a very good seating space and you will be in love with the ambiance....staff is also goog and friendly but i think the prices doesnt justify the food as prices are a bit high ...but overall its a good experience 👍

this is very cute place with outdoor seating.they provide complementary dish also.but food is ok ok.they dont have extensive menu.portion size is less.but there coffee is amazing.it tastes good.ambience is nice but the floor is bit unfavourable if you wear heels.😉 overall nice place for cozy evening.

I was here for my birthday and the experience was certainly memorable. Cottage has a very peaceful and calm vibe to it. The beautiful interiors and courteousness of the staff makes it all the more special. Food was excellent in terms of quality, quantity, authenticity and taste. A perfect fine dining experience.

This place is very cozy and it has pretty interior as well good and tasty food experience♥️. Truely recommeded and also it has a good bar view and open sitting as well.

Honestly love this place and the whole ambiance and the setting. Lovely place to chill and have deep conversations, Sadly the food is a problem. Nothing is extraordinary which should be considering the pricing is steep. The service is good but they need to work on the menu because if the food is not good I can't really eat the ambiance.

Beautiful place in Chandigarh. This place has both Indoor and outdoor sitting. Ambience is very beautiful. Staff is friendly and service is also quick. We ordered spicy mango which is different and we never tasted this kind of drink before. Amazing drink which made our taste buds dance. Must try if you like to try something really different. Next we ordered exotic dream and pineapple avalanche, both these drinks were amazing and refreshing. We ordered khachapuri - roasted veg, khachapuri is a traditional Georgian dish of cheese filled bread. But cheese was not enough. There is some room for improvement in this dish. Next was corn & pepper lasagna (veg) served with garlic bread. Best lasagna I have ever tried. Full of flavours and highly recommended. Overall it is a really good place to visit be it with friends or family. Would love to visit this place again.

Beautiful ambience and courteous service are the only things they have going for them.<br/><br/>The food is a big let down. Whatever you may order, will lack flavour. European cuisine is not inherently bland, what it lacks for in spices, it makes up for with rich flavours, such as olive oil, cheese, the vegetables. But here, the food you get is regular food minus spices, which equals to an almost tasteless and flavourless blunder. To add to that, they charge exorbitantly for what they serve.<br/><br/>I wouldn't recommend going here, if eating anything is on your agenda. Any restaurant's main USP is it's food, everything else comes after that.

The ambience and the service here is great, but the food lets you down. It's overpriced and frankly not worth the bill. We had mojitos for drinks and stuffed brocolli for appetizers. For mains we ordered a veg pizza and a mushroom pasta. Both were only mediocre. We had an apple pie for dessert, which was a little better.<br/>I wouldn't really recommend this place. It can do much better when it comes to the quantity and the taste of the dishes it serves.<br/>The place however has a very bright and cheerful atmosphere with a courteous staff.<br/>I do hope they revise their culinary aspect.

Very unfriendly manager, ordered a cottage cheese stake which was way below par! Told manager we do not like the preparation, said sorry you have ordered I can’t cancel it. this is how our restaurant and prepares it, if you dont like it then its your problem. Rude behavior and no customer courtesy.<br/><br/>Management please take note, will lose out regular customers because of such staff.

Okay so a quite pretty place in chandigarh for the ones who loves European. I've gone their twice, one time with my friends and the other with my family. I went for a family dinner and having vegetarian family members, we didn't like the menu much as it's more with non-veg things.<br/>I really liked their drinks though. The staff is very friendly and yeah it is must go place for european cuisine' lovers, a pretty place to have dine with wine though.

Very peaceful and calm place. Best time to visit this place is in evening after 7. Food is ok and staff is very friendly. One can do chit chat in very peaceful environment.

The place is big and done quite well, with a few places featuring natural sunlight (rare in Chandigarh restaurants, which are predominantly dark). We ordered two mocktails, which were full of artificial syrup and not so nice. Then we ate hummus & pulled lamb, which was ok although a bit flat in flavour and the meat had a few stringy pieces and was not cooked long enough, which kept it chewy (pulled meat should be really soft and tender). The second dish we ordered was the chicken paella - this dish had nothing to do with paella! It was some rice swimming in a strange yellow sauce and tasted of cheap broth cubes. I cannot comment on the entire menu, but we felt they offer too many dishes, but don't know how to actually cook all these different dishes.

Went there with a friend for lunch. Place looks lovely... ladies wearing heals need to be little careful as soon as you enter the place. They have small stones spread across which might make you lose balance.;) it’s a charming place. The food served was delicious. We ordered for a sandwich and a pasta. Pasta was ok though. For some reason too much of sauce is added in the pasta here (in Chandigarh) you enjoy sauce not pasta!!<br/><br/>The staff was very courteous. They got our order wrong and then fixed it on realising. The complimentary bread they offer was not that great.<br/>It’s a nice place to sit and talk. It was a lovely experience.

Cottage is a really cozy , cute little restaurant I happen to visit quite often because my mum happens to really like it and it’s always a pleasant experience always . <br/>Their bread with the olive oil is to die for and so are the desserts. They predominantly master in Italian food and their thin crust oven pizza and yummy pasta. <br/>It’s overall a sweet little place to visit for a nice quite lunch and a Couple of drinks .

We went there on valentine eve. We had wait for more than an hour. It was ok to wait until people those who came after us, were getting seats and we were just wondering. That wait itself ruined the eve. Even before going we called to get a reservation and they told us they don't have reservation policy, it's all 1st come 1st serve basis.<br/><br/>Food was also very average. Went to the place for dinner with my wife. The ambience is good, place is lively,<br/><br/>BUT, a huge mistake in seating arrangement, seats are placed too far from each other for people to talk comfortably specially When there is some music going on.... Terrific decor, generous portions, delicious food! We started with the soup Harirra, had Tandoori Salmon and Chicken Espitada & Mushroom Pie as our mains and shared French Apple Tart ala mode for dessert. Fantastic!

This is a perfect place if you wish to take your date out for dinner or with your friends and family. This place has a wonderful ambience and very tasty food. The staff is very courteous. I would highly recommend this place.

Ambience is great, downside or maybe plus for some that you cannot even smoke in the back alley so you’ll have to go out of the restaurant in case you wanted to.<br/>Food is interesting and it offers quite a selection of Mediterranean and European food that you might not find elsewhere in Chandigarh..portions are decent too.<br/>Wasn’t really fond of the Georgian pizza they had but looking forward to trying one of the pies on the next visit .<br/>Expensive :yes <br/>Two dishes and two drinks set us back by 4K

So it was a different affair in cottage, love the ambience and service is so friendly, they have outdoor seating as well, makes it beautiful ..so the menu was different from what we have seen from other places, broccoli starter was good but a little burnt in taste, chicken starter was good, artichoke sundries tomato pizza was okay but preparation could be a little better, barley tomato soup was healthy and good, they serve you yummy complimentary bread with sauce which is delicious, rasp brûlée was also yummy , cous cous bowl was also nice, was expecting a little more food variety, otherwise as an experience it was great and a peaceful outing

Excellent ambiance. Excellent food. Good service. And most of all it’s clean and tidy. Specially for big get together and family dinners. Good hospitality.

If you talk about ambience, cottage wins it all. Great soothing environment, perfect for any occasion.<br/>The staff is really very polite.<br/>They start with a welcome dish❤️( Their bread is very light and sauce is tasteful)<br/>Then we ordered "The Greek" flatbread- 4/5<br/>Spicy mango mocktail- 5/5<br/>Beatroot mocktail- 4.5/5<br/>Their mocktails are a must try❤️<br/>Little overpriced but if you love to go to a place with good ambience then it's a real catch!

I was a little disappointed bcoz the ambience was not that beautiful as I thought it would be.<br/>We ordered veg roasted pizza and baked pasta.I was really happy with the quantity and presentation of food.👍 They also give you a welcome dish. But the taste of the food was just average so they can improve it.!!

Hi I visited cottage last weekend.  Awesome place .. one of the finest ambience.  The staff was courteous. must visit place.  If you go before 7 Pm , it will be less crowdy..

Hands down, one of the best aesthetics in town.<br/>The place looks like something out of a storybook.<br/>The chef’s complementary home baked goods are something to look forward to.<br/>We ordered the <br/>Corn lasagna<br/>Basil olive pizza<br/>The food was spectacular and the hosts were polite.<br/>The acoustics were spot on.<br/>The outdoor seating brings out the Mediterranean vibes.<br/>Highly recommended, this one.

Updating for the must try delicacies -<br/>Empanadas are great! The cafe latte is okay.<br/><br/>And the staff is super courteous.<br/><br/>----<br/>Cottage truly stands by its name. It has a cozy comfortable seating too to enjoy this winter sun alongwith an indoor seating. The interiors are well done and the food is good. We went for Habanero pizza, a mushroom based appetizer and cheese rolls. All 3 dishes turned out well. The desserts are good too, both, the choco lava cake and the cheesecake we opted for were great. A place to visit if you are looking for a calm, peaceful and relaxed afternoon.

We went to cottage last week.. it's a nice experience to be here overall. Full marks to the ambience.. the ambience was super awesome and the food is also good and the service is upto the mark.. but one thing which we felt that you guys should improvise your menu as it's very limited wid the eating options specially for the vegetarians.<br/>Thanks

Good ambience and decor. All that loses its sheen as service is snail paced. Average food quality. If one likes to eat, would give this place a miss as the food would never arrive

We went for dinner to cottage . Were given a Warm welcome by the staff . Gives a great feeling in case people around u are courteous . The food was sumptuous, though we ordered only one dish . The freebie garlic bread was soft and awesome with a really nice dip . Will surely try the place again . <br/>

It was an amazing experience at cottage. Just loved the food😍 especially the dessert 🍮 . It is a very beautiful place .I would love to visit this place again.

Food was pathetic terrible . Ordered roasted flat bread which was a total flop. Will never visit again , ambience was the only thing that looked fine

A very exciting place with a great ambience and even greater food. Price tag is a little on the higher side, but, it's worth the experience. Delicious food, be it veg or non veg, and great cocktails with an unparalleled environment don't let you realize the time flying away.

Went there for the first time today, the ambience is colourful and wonderful, gives European outlook, the beer was excellent and same for the salad, sheperds pie too was very tasty, staff was courteous.
