The place is nice , food is good , one thing i didn't like is that the tables are not cleaned properly , as they were cleaned again and again with the same oiled clothes so it gets oily everytime and other is that the food provided in disposable is very light according to the heavy food provided . I have seen this sweet shop evolving really well over the years. The sweet and other eating options served here are of good quality and are always fresh. They have worked hard to grow their business by expanding to serve bakery items and fast food options.

I went on Rakhi day so they were actually very busy with the mithais and stuff. So had to wait for 45 minutes tried 3-4 flavours and they were good in preparations. Spoke to a delivery guy there so they have all preparations done in Mohali phase 8b as per the driver.. I would love to visit the back end to see if I can get insight into the hygiene..
Customer service was poor I do however understand that was a busy day but everyone was giving money it was not free so dealing needs to be systematic not just random without any process and let people wait and shout to get heard.. I hope the owner will sort out processes before Diwali

I ordered from this restaurant via zomato. Very bad experience. Actually I order veg fried rice and paneer noodles. Paneer noodles is OK but fried rice is look like a veg homemade (dhabastyle) pulao. I ask restaurant owner what is fried rice? Curry was so thick and besan was not properly cooked. There was too much red chilli powder in sambhar, vada was stail and was giving foul smell. Onion dosa was good but oily. Jalandhar sweets is know for sweets, I can't say anything about that but about the food, it wasn't good.<br/>

Jallandhar sweets is a pioneer among the oldest and best sweets and restaurant shops. I ordered abt 12 samosas for my staff today and following are the observations :<br/><br/>Packaging - as an orthodox player Jalandhar sweets does not invest in good packaging. Very normal brown bags and small transparent polyethene packs for chutney which was not impressive. 3*<br/><br/>Quantity - the size of samosa was good enough to quench hunger of 1 person during snack time.5*<br/><br/>Quality- no compro on quality. I could see the potatoes....dhaniya sabut...jeera....matar....paneer etc in the stuffing...making it equally tasty. The chutneys were also impressive and flavoring.5*<br/><br/>So total 4*.....improve your packaging....sky is the limit.
