A good rasoi. All veg options and the taste is good. North Indian food is good. Chowmin is average. The reason I am writing this review is mainly due to staff and TEA. Look at the cup! The taste plus vibe is just like home. Or a middle class relative's home. Reminiscent!

Ambience is great. Food is nice too... Just seating arrangement is bit tight. Not much space in corner ones. You may need to wait for tables in the evening. But who cares about that when food is good ...Renovation is really good, ambience is pleasant. Food and services are as usual always good. Price of the food is minimal and Worth Valued.

The place is very good..not overhyped prices.. and a good ambient atmosphere.. preparations are also good... A must go when you want to dine with friends or family... Only con is a small sitting arrangement.. so sometimes waiting is high.

Kumar Rasoi is a decent place to eat food, the food quality is as good as home, they have also increased the sitting space, it’s a nice place for food outing with family, prices are reasonable, you can also order online, the one thing where they have the opportunity to improve is the cleanliness of the seats/sitting area/tables/washroom I found it sometimes to be dirty, otherwise all good, I love to eat there with my family

We were travelling from Delhi and had our lunch here with 4 people. Food quality and taste is good. Price is quite less and it is within your range. Food menu for lunch and dinner is full of food with different flavors, spices. Rajma, shahi paneer and daal makhni are their best dishes. One can order one special thali having so much to taste specially rice and kheer which is yummy. if you are in Chandigarh and wanna taste something north Indian. Must visit then. You will not be disappointed.

We've been eating here since we were kids. It was near our place and they provide good food. But, if you don't like spices please tell them beforehand not to add red spice in your food. This would be helpful. Provide instructions beforehand.

Bad experience as tarage ndoori chapati were sent instead of ordered tawa chapatis..........My father and mother slept without taking dinner as tandoori chapatis were not eatable......Yellow dal was also below average......Only Cheese tomato somehow was better............Dissatisfying experience,,,,,,Sorry to place order at Kumar Rasoi........

Looking for a perfuct brunch? Must visit kumar rasoi. A lovely place for family lunch. Shahi paneer and dal makhani is worth a try. Buttern naan are soft and crispy. Thali's are also good.

They put nothing is this pulav. It’s just boiled rice with lots of red pepper. Thode bahut jeera ka chhouk and peas just for sake of name. Inke cheap cooks ko koi ye sikhaye ki pulav me at least aallooo bhi hote hai. 🙄Pls don’t waste your money. Better order from somewhere else. I am never going to order from this place. Management was so irresponsible he didn’t even thought of any compensation. Repeat the dish or refund. Lootne ke liye baithe hai. Kuch bhi bana ke bhej dete hai. Non sense... 🙄🙄<br/>Kutte bhi na khaye aisa pulav.

Chapatis are full of atta and mix veg is very spicy and order delivery is also late even after paying delivery charges. Improve your quality bcoj if we go out for lunch or dinner same time they will take in preparation and we will not pay them extra money for serving. Unimaginable that good Indian food though totally vegetarian 🌱. Could come at such a throwaway price. Pick anything from their menu and you wont be disappointed. My personal fave from here is the Cheese Stuffed Naan with Gravy which beats all places serving stuffed Naans. I bet you no one can match theirs. A lot of stuffing in all the nooks and crannies with the naan cooked to perfection. No place can make it like them. Not even your fancy restaurants of Sec26 and Sec7. Only drawback I feel is the sitting arrangement in their restaurant is not so great.

I have been living in Sec 37 from last 5 years and go to Kumar rasoi only if I don't have any option. First of all food is average not so good and no so bad but staff around here don't give a fuck about you. if you ask them how much time the order will take they simply say "ache khane Ko time lgta hai ji". And same attitude is of owner or people who were at desk.

You really need to work on maintaining the hygiene of the place. It gets so messy especially if it's crowded. There was garbage all around the floor. Washrooms were too dirty to even step inside. Food was below average.
