Catch 22 in Shashtri Market is a great place to eat. They have lots of different ice cream flavors, from plain vanilla to unique ones like Kaju Kheer, Oreo, Fruit Crush and many more. The restaurant is cozy, so it's perfect for hanging out with friends or getting dessert after a meal. The staff is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. If you like ice cream, you should definitely check it. However, it's important to note that their Noodles, Dosa, and Chinese Cuisine items might not meet your expectations in terms of taste and quality.

I stepped in to grab a quick bite. This place is right in front of the parking in sector22. The food served was of a very good taste and quality. My instruction for kind of coffee I need were passed on and I had a very nice coffee. The Staff is responsive and they have detailed menu which covers almost every popular food item.

Here ice cream cone comes in two varieties one is of rupees 50 and other is of rupees 60. There are slightly more flavours in rupees 60. The best flavour you will find here is Belgium nut and red velvet. This is a must go to place when you visit sector 22 .

This place is located as you enter sector 22 shastri market from the parking side ...Catch 22 as the name say will surely catch ua interest in the variety of ice cream they offer .... And the price is okay ....would recommend...i enjoyed my black current...

Pros - Good location,cheap & nice food, friendly staff, nice music I usually order cold coffee & chocolate pastry ( All of it for Rs 157 with taxes for dining) Great discounts on swiggy too. Cons - Gets crowded & busy on weekends throughout the day.

It is a good restaurant after shopping from sector 22 market I always visit this place.Qualtiy of the food is nice and price is also decent . some dishes are really nice but few are not. One time i ordered white sauce pasta but the taste of that was not that good. overall nice place to eat , enough space and cleanliness.

The taste of South Indian food always crave ny taste buds and constrained me to visit this place again and again. If you are an avid lover of vegetarian food and wanna a place that is suitable for all age group though with family or friends then you are certainly at the right place.

Very bad experience, I never order now from Catch 22 . I ordered fresh fruit cake I sheared one photo. Teach your chef how to make a cake. I am also chef. And I am working in Maldives. Don't spoil your restaurant name. RIP CATCH 22

Recently I went for shopping in shastri market ,I was really hungry.The very first restaurant that I spotted was this.I tried Veg burger,Cheese sandwich,Veg roll and strawberry ice cream.Food was really good and with apt amount of flavours.Ambience was calm and it was really required after shopping.

Tried this outlet for ordering dessert first time.<br/>I Ordered hot choco lava which was good in taste,but it was not at all hot which destroyed my mood and didn't uplifted my mood .if it would have been served hot it would be tasting great.

Food quality is very poor. I order for 2 red velvet pastry. But when the order is delivered i see the quality of item is very bad. Amd taste is also not good.

They serve delicious food but there service is little slow and weak they need to work otherwise they serve good tasty food specially malai kofta included paneer in that that was good🤟🏻

The pastry was stale. It smelled and tasted so bad. Total waste of money. Wasn't worth spending money.

The food here is amazing. Cherry on the cake, these guys are so so polite. For a restaurateur to understand the client’s taste and deliver to their satisfaction is a rare concept in Chandigarh. <br/>Keep up!

Good experience with catch 22. Nice and hygienic food provided by them. Taste is little bit more to increase but not very bad. Its average food with reasonable prices. No issue with the quality of food.

The dry cake is so hard and tasteless. The date walnut cake has no dates. Avoidable. I did not like the experience of ordering from this place.

I went to this outlet situated in the heart of sector 22 famous market .. the place was super crowded and there i tried there amritsari kulcha with the ice tea<br/>I must say the amritsari kulcha was so good and the channa were just lip smacking.. though on the other hand i did not liked the ice tea ..it felt like the packed ice tea takes like.. going on i tried there famous icecream cone and it was so good made of 2 -3 flavours the ice cream quantity and quantity was both good<br/>Good luck<br/>Indian_backpackers_<br/>Kajal verma.

After shopping in sect 22 mrkt one doesn't feel like walking here and there in search fr food, but this restro is located in the centre.<br/>It's kind of self service system<br/>U got to get your payment done at counter and your food would be delivered on your table.<br/>Me being alone went to pay first and then took a table.<br/>The staff is polite but super confused.<br/>After 15 mins of my ordering, the waiter asked me to leave the table as according to him i hadn't orderd.<br/>But finally after 30 mins of all the choas my order was successfully delivered.<br/>I ordered plane dosa. The taste was really good and fresh.<br/>Must visit place fr food.

This place is super crowded specially on weekends as it is situated in sector--22 Chandigarh (the very famous 'Shastri Market") I feel this place is a bit overpriced according to the quantity and quality of food they offer..I ordered 1 plate pav bhaji (for rs.130) and 1 plate amritsari kulcha with channa (rs.120) and a glass of fresh lime (sweet + salted) ..Pav bhaji was super tasty but the amritsari kulcha with channa combo was not good enough and the fresh lime tasted a bit weird ..The service they offer is super fast and the presentation is good but they really need to improve the taste..

It is located in the hustling and bustling market of sector 22 competing with the street food and holding its own. It serves a variety of food which people normally eat and move on with their shopping. It also has a bakery of its own that bakes their own bread and cookies. It is pure vegetarian joint. Veg thali is worth trying and its south indian food is good specially dosa. They also serve chilled lassi and shakes.

They refused to recognise that there restaurant exist on nearbuy for table booking option. And the service ws some what sloppy. U ain't gonna catch many customers this way catch 22.

Had tried this place during my visit in Shastri Nagar Market. After a shopping spree we went for lunch and found the food was decent. We had ordered veg noodles but they should call it gobi noodles. The plain dosa was good but the art of sambar is a rare talent in these parts. Ordered cheese corn onion capsicum grilled sandwich which was good. They gave us a chocolate mousse for a chocolate pudding.

I recently visited catch 22 beacause me and my friends were really hungry and it was the only option left with us to go. Three of us ordered a plate of paneer tikka butter masala and chapattis because being hostellers we keep on searching good homemade food but our hopes were shattered as the food was very okay and also the quantity of vegetable was not enough for 3 of us. The prices seem to be a little high as per the quantity and the quality of the food. Also there is self service for ordering which i did n't expected to be in a restaurant. It really creates confusion there when order arrives. I don't wish to visit there again.

A decent multi cuisine restaurant to head to after a tiring day of shopping at sector 22 market for coffee/ coolers or a decent meal. It's pure vegetarian and the bakery serves eggless cakes/ pastries which makes it a hot pick amongst the vegetarians. Food is decent. We ordered the Amritsari kulcha with chhole and a grilled veg sandwich which was good. We also tried the choco-chip pastry which was fresh and really tasty. Service is good too. Nothing too fancy about this place but serves as a good pitstop.

catch 22 restu was set up with the idea of capturing the crowd coming daily to the shastri market . but they have got it all wrng. crowd has denied them because of the rubbish quality of their food. even i want to open a restu but i cant just open it right now as i have to take it a long way. this place is much fr d dismay. avoid it .

Delicious food and timely home delivery. The mesmerizing food force me to order again & again from catch 22, especially the popular products like Masala Dosa, Rajmah Chawal are simply awesome.

The food is of average quality, the service is quite slow..waiters are not at all friendly. Also the restaurent is quite congested which adds to the trouble.

There delievery products were in bad state.Had ordered something else and they delievered something else.Their chinese preparation is pretty bad. highly disappointed

A single waiter serving five tables at the same time. And not to wonder, was mingling up the orders. It was not even the peak hour nor was the place fully occupied, still they sucked at serving people. The glass of water I was served had dirt floating in it and when I requested to get it changed I was made to wait for like 10 minutes. And again they kept the same dirty water in front of me. I had to order bottled water at last. Coming to the food, I had ordered a veg pizza and a blackcurrant shake. Pizza was a  'so-so'. The shake was not rich enough. Was like 75% water. Ambience was not very impressive either but keeping their rate card in mind was enough up to what you can expect at that price. But guys whatever be your pricing we always expect clean drinking water, at least! So, please!

This is my second favourite place to have a veg meal in the tricity. The food is just so tasty. Their breads are perfectly prepared. The seating arrangement is not that good. But still I would rate it 4.5 ;)

We had ice cream cones here.. Winters and ice cream are a deadly combo and here any flavour, any nmbr of scoops at a nominal price of INR 40. The butterscotch and chocolate combo ws the best.. Kesar pista.. Strawberry and too many options.. We were spoilt for choice and it was too damn tastyy..

Nothing special about this place except being present in the centre of the ever crowded Shastri market. It is an always crowded place with good food, that's it.

When I was a kid, I always used to tell my mom that one day we will have our post-shopping coffee break at Catch-22 someday. However the place always appeared so shady that we could never dare to eat at this place due to hygiene and quality concerns. So that "some day" came more than a decade later, since now Catch-22 has improved tremendously over time and from a small refreshment corner it has turned into a fast-casual diner.<br/><br/>The appearance is still a little dull and shabby in spite all the beautiful decor. This can be attributed to the fact that the place is not so tidy. Even the menus are dirty and tables are little greasy.<br/><br/>The place offers multi-cuisine foods, but still it is famous for its softy and pastries. We cannot expect truly authentic cuisines here, yet, everything served is marked with good taste and generously added veggies and cheese of good quality. <br/><br/>Somehow, while munching at this joint, I felt like I was at Hot Millions of yesteryears. Similar fast food experience, which I was missing even at HM of current times.<br/><br/>The serving staff and the desk manager are very polite and courteous, the service and presentation is equally good.<br/><br/>The place is always crowded, probably because we don't have much options here. If the place works on its cleanliness, It would become everyone's favourite low budget fast food joint.

Its is a popular restaurant in sector 22. It went through few renovations and not it is really good in looks too... I had fried rice and Manchurian with gravy it was really good and spicy i also had paneer dosa it was fine...<br/>In the last i had ice cream sundaes ^_^ they were delicious and mouth watering :D hot chocolate sunday, brownie with vanilla ice cream and tutti frutty yum yum :D

Catch 22 is one of the staple restaurants in sector 22's market, making is popular for as long as the market is open. It's a veg restaurant having everything from South Indian food to tandoori snacks. The kathi rolls are extremely delicious, a reason for my visit. The paneer kathi roll was made to order and perfectly spice, the filling hot and fresh. It was huge for the price too, making it more of a mini meal. My friend who ordered the paneer tikka was not as impressed with it (though previous times had been better), as she felt more seasoning went into the roll. However, the restaurant was nice and was relatively quick. I'd gladly come back again.

Food: Chilly Cheese, Cheese Uttapam. All their South Indian and Chinese dishes are good. Simple and clean food. Earlier they used to serve non-veg dishes too but now its an all exclusive Veg-restaurant.<br/><br/>Ambience: Clean and well lit. Service gets slow at times.

Amazing and best quality snacks. Chilly cheese and panner naan are beyond comparison. Quality and quantity is appreciable. Always the first choice to have a good tasty meal.

Sitting was okay! Food was good, not too good but for sure not bad, service was good and not slow. Ordered a dosa and a veg chopsuey. I had square dosa for the first time, it was good :) Chopsuey was good, although a bit of more gravy would be better, but taste wise both dishes were good.<br/>Happy Eating :)

Air-conditioned and centrally located in chandigarh. Works on a coupon system. Every time I am in Sector 22, I drop into Catch 22 just for one thing - Chilly Cheese. The place is hoarded with some serious eaters who are tired after long shopping hours. It is all about food here, no frills attached.<br/><br/>Their Chilly Cheese is a good preparation. The quality of cheese is impeccable. The cheese is very soft, melt in your mouth kinds. The service is quick and the taste is ok. The prices are also decent. You can have a hearty meal here without burning a hole in your pocket.<br/><br/>In short, it enjoys a state of monopoly in the food situation of the area since it is the only decent option for the shoppers here.<br/><br/>My Tip: Love Birds, kindly say a BIG NO to this place!

Catch 22 is located in the middle of the 22 market which is usually very crowded. You'll find a variety in the menu (Sabzi- Roti, thalis, south Indian(dosa, uttapam and stuff), burgers, pizzas, shakes, sandwiches etc.) Taste and quality is great, especially the south Indian food. Ambiance is not very desirable as there are a lot of tables in a very limited area. Waiters are not very polite and the waiting time for the meal is minimum 20-25 minutes. Also a thing that I didn't like is that we have to give the order at he billing counter (and there is always a rush at the counter). Prices are not very reasonable. The worst thing is that you have to clear the table after having finished your meal (even if you are having a nice chat with the person you came in) as the waiters keep on asking you time to time 'sir, kuchh aur lenge' and cleans the table which almost feels like we are being thrown out (to be honest). <br/><br/>Price : 4/5 <br/>Ambiance : 3/5 <br/>Food: 4.5/5<br/>Service: 2/5<br/><br/>My take on this: Visit if you are already there in the 22 market and cant wait to visit any other eating point in other sectors.
