S Lounge is a great place to visit with friends. Pros. 1. The place has one of the best ambience in whole tricity. 2. The interiors are very good. 3. Good Crowd. 4. Food is amazing. 5. Staff is polite and courteous. 6. Live music is their. Cons. 1. Service time can be reduced.

There is a happy vibe to this place done up in a casual but fun way. Great for a ladies lunch out or even to party at night with family or friends. Food is always delicious. Do try their Sangria.

There are just a handful of places where you will find good ambience and good music but more importantly good food. I believe S lounge is the best out there. This place has definitely stood the tests of time and trend and in its latest avatar as a classy lounge Is still upbeat and relevant despite so many other lounges cropping up here and there... the best part though is the legendary Swagath menu and hospitality!

Nice venue with a trendy atmosphere. Great music, and was surprised to hear some Australian electronic tunes. Located to the rear of the restaurant Swagath along Madhya Marg. Very attentive staff who even served food on our plates. Whist the bar specialises in western food, it is also related with Swagath, so there is a large range of indian and chinese cusine to choose from. Happy hour has buy one, get one free deal.

Celebrated my birthday party here with friends. As usual, a terrific experience. Awesome Food, Snacks amidst lively DJ music. The interiors and ambience are very trendy. Yahoo!

One of the best places to have comfort food hands down.<br/><br/>P.s. the definition of comfort food is divergent for different people. Mine is Dal Makhani and Paneer<br/><br/>Swagath chain of restaurants have given a midas touch to this place. The ambience is marvellous and have been given warm feel. The best corner is the dj console which has been given the look of a judicial office. The bar menu is pretty elaborate with a number of excellent brands to choose from. <br/>The mocktail section has a wonderful gem by the name of MANGO MOJITO. Its made with green mango and is really refreshing and delicious. Do order it. Earlier they had kiwi mary on their menu which was their specialty and really exceptional, i wish they bring it back on their menu.<br/><br/>From the soup section Clear Wonton Soup is a must have. Its full of veggies and has mean wonton dumplings in it. <br/><br/>Snacks section is pretty good as far as non-veg is concerned. Would love to see more vegetarian options too. Try the paneer shaslik. Paneer is soft and flavourful.<br/>Murgh chakori kabab is to die for. Chicken is succulent and full of flavour. If you are a fan of differnt snacks on one plate then do try their platter e khas. <br/><br/>From the main course highly recommended is their Hydrabadi biryani. They take their biryani very seriously though a little work on the presentation can be done but its a must must have. <br/><br/>The menu has great combos too. Mine personal favourite is Combo no. 4 which is Dal Makhani and paneer lababdar. The dal is just heavenly. <br/><br/>Since mainly its a south Indian restaurant so they make mean UPPAMS. Do try it. The good thing is you can replace the naan or roti in the combo with uppam and though its a weird combination to have something south indian like uppam with a true blue north India dish like dal makhani and paneer but do try it.<br/><br/>Finally the dessert <br/>SIZZLING BROWNIE is a must must must have. The brownie is soft and gooey. It gratifies your sweet tooth just perfectly.<br/><br/>

This place is has one of the best ambience In Chandigarh ever seen, food here is quite amazing. I tried their chicken Kathi roll which was quite amazing, but I found it expensive too. As of 425 rs. This place also serves amazing drinks as they have almost all sorts of drinks.

Have been to this place quite a bit. Their LIITs are the best. The food is always good. Service at the lounge sometimes is not extremely efficient but I guess it’s always so crowded that it’s impossible to be perfect. Gaah nights at this place never disappoint.

I actually liked the place a lot. Ambiance is good. Love the cafe's entry, Definitely a picture spot. We ordered peri peri chicken which was delicious and shawarma roll (not for those who eat spicy). Staff is helpful. Our second order took a little time. It is a place worth a try.

S-cafe has come up as one of the prominent places for Band performances and Gigs. Located at the backside of sector 26 market, it can be bit confusing to get to. Its a bar with some amazing cocktails and a wide verity of liquor available. The food, as expected is mainly designed around the finger foods concept. The bruschetta platter and BBQ wings are a one of the best from the Lot. But thats a personal opinion. The only drawback is that its too cramped, and on Saturdays or gig nights, it gets even more claustrophobic. Else its a chilled out n a laid back bar.

Situated at the back of Swagath Restaurant, S cafe is a happening place with groovy music and soothing lights ambience. <br/>Staff service was good but not extremely wow. <br/>Food - we ordered Cottage Cheese Provençal along with Manchow soups and then Apple Pomegranate Smoothie and their Veg Platter and we were not disappointed with anything. <br/>Must try for all Chandigarh folks.

S stands for superb interior and superb ambience. <br/>Name of the cafe is similar to F CAFE but both are in different league.<br/>This cafe n bar is for young ones and raw blood who want rugged looks and no ethinicity. Interior is dim n design is retro western mix. Sofa sitting is classic plus bar sitting which has cycle chain thing is new which you dont see regularly.<br/>Now to food, menu is nothing new but with fancy name only but quality is really good in taste. Shakes are not upto mark as i had blueberry shake and it taste like strawberry and i felt icecream is blended which was disappointment. Chicken dishes were superb and over all presentation was really good. Went to this place with friends for quick lunch so ordered combos but believe me it wasn't so quick.. If you are very hungry this might not be a place to be.. It took them atleast 45-50 minutes to bring our food even when only a couple of tables were occupied.. Ambiance was very good.. Like the way they have used some old stuff nicely..There are mixed reviews on the food that we ordered.. Some items were great such as the butter chicken and Chinese but Dal Makhni was pathetic.. To top it off, since it took them quite some time to bring the food, most of it was cold.. Not a recommended place for a quick bite..

have visited innumerable pubs and bars in Delhi, being a dehilte. So whilst we were in the beautiful; and my most loved city, we decided to visit S cafe. I must say that It was, indeed, a better experience than Delhi. Allowing only couples made it more secured, though there were stags too, but predominantly couples. Food was palatable and DJ was making us dance. Enjoyed every bit of it with impeccable service.

Visited here on my Birthday. I visited there for dinner at around 7:30 pm. There were just 3 more people except me and my friend. I think it would be a better experience if visited a bit late in the night. Honestly it was really very close to the one sold in Dubai. The moment you enter the cafe, you get a feeling you are inside one of the many cafes of Delhi. I find the whole rustic decor similiar to Hauz Khas Social nevertheless the decor is good and they have kept many games also which is a plus point if you coming in a group. I visited this place with my friends to have a nice brunch. They have a nice big menu with a lot varieties. The interiors were very eye catching and totally matched the party theme. VEG MANCHURIAN WITH NOODLES(COMBO)-- Manchurain was very tasty, gravy was nice and thick and balls were soft with accurate filling. Noodles were very plain in taste, was infact sort of tasteless.<br/><br/>2.CHILLI PANEER WITH NOODLES(COMBO)-- Chilli paneer gravy was good in taste nicely tossed with vegetables. Paneer was a little chewy.<br/><br/>Overall-- S cafe and bar can get full marks for its peppy interiors and cool wall decor's but they need a little improvement in their food. I know its a reputed bar,however, the food cannot be taken as granted. Service was very slow and quantity was ok types according to the prices. I would like to visit the place again to try some new things.<br/><br/>PS : They have some board games, carrom and books with which you pass your time till your order is getting ready :D :D

The Sangria is quite good and the portions are more than sufficient, of the food and drinks. <br/><br/>However, S-Cafe is most popular for its ambience and music than for its food, and that is a welcome addition to Chandigarh nightlife. Excellent crowd and a well managed place, polite and helpful staff. Would definitely suggest reserving a table in advance, specially on weekends since this place is very popular. Keep up the awesome work guys !

Just came back from S Cafe and it was one helluva night! Loved it. The music, the ambience, the crowd, everything was fantastic. Only sad thing is that it's small and gets stuffy. The food and drinks are fabulous. Loved the Sangria and Peri Peri Chicken.

This cafe opened up replacing once Chandigarh's favorite S Lounge is no less than its predecessor . It has a unique ambiance to offer in the monotonous European inspired cafes. It has airy, has great lighting , amazing food and combos(especially for indian meals). Absolutely my new favorite place !!

Nice enough watering hole behind Swagat restaurant. The snacks are quite decent all around and the booze good enough. They need to tone down the music volume as they get a slightly older crowd. They take a scan of your id before you enter which is good as in Chandigarh an evening can go awry in no time, hopefully this is a deterrent for would be miscreants. They'd do well to reduce the blow of their industrial type AC unit as if you sit in its direct blow you'll get icicles forming under your nose.

Good Place. Clever decor. The 22G L.I.I.T is pretty hard on. Dont order fish and chips. The Peach Ice tea and other mocktails are pretty good for tea totalers like who seem lost amongst the big alcoholics.

Been a pretty avid customer. Strictly here for the non vegetarian food. One dish that i particularly want to point out is the Chicken Shwarma. It is probably the best shwarma available in town. Takes 15-20 minutes to reach your table but My God is it worth the taste. The Hummus and Tahini are perfect. Literally perfect. The ambience scores a 9/10 as well . <br/><br/>My vegetarian friends told me that their food wasn't as good as mine but thats for another day. The staff is super polite. But could do with a bit more knowledge and a couple of whiskeys haven't been available since a very long time . Maybe delete them off the menu ?<br/><br/>Anyhow keep up the good work guys !

I rarely write reviews but this place has made me fall in love with it.<br/>The ambience, the music, the food, the whole concept is just awesome. It's easily one of the best cafés in tricity.<br/>They're even having a PlayStation Tournament this weekend! Like cmon, how cool is that XD<br/><br/>I had the cold coffee, it was okay. Not bad, not great.<br/>Herbal tea was really nice.<br/>Chicken Club Sandwich is one the best i've had in the city.<br/>Peri Peri chicken is good for starters.<br/><br/>But what totally blew me away was Chicken Provincial. I haven't had such tasty chicken in a while. The herb rice accompanying the chicken is also great. I'm telling you, chicken provincial should be a must have on every foodie's list.

S cafe is just another normal bar..the seats are not at all comfortable ..m a non alcoholic so I tried their mojitos and mocktails..which were really over rated and not at all worth the price..the ambience was fine just like normal bars..had high expectations but it was really disappointing:(

This place is in sector 26 at the backside of swagath restaurant. you enter there and you start feeling good because the atmosphere is very lively and perfect for a saturday evening. This gives you a feeling of delhi types cafes and place like this was much required in the city. A place with great ambience and good food is hard to find and this is one of those. A lot of efforts have been put up in making this place look good and fresh,liked the detailing given to the furniture. Then the food is really good. we ordered juicy chicken burger,white sauce pasta and veg salt n pepper with a few cocktails.Food tastes so good and best thing is they have happy hours till 9 for drinks which makes this place really affordable. In the end its a must visit place.

That's exactly what Peri Peri Chicken at this place does to you.<br/>The chicken was so soft and so juicy and so well marinated that it was unbelievable! The peri peri sauce itself was spot on. Plus it goes really well with all their drinks (btw, they have happy hours till 9 PM so do try the LIIT)<br/><br/>Highlyyyy recommended!

This place creates a nice first impression by its striking ambience with it's raw and warehouse type outlook. Make sure you go along with your shutterbugs. <br/>Food is at par with Swagath's, totally toothsome. The nacho salad here is one of the best in town, not overloaded with excess cheese and just to the right amount. The combos are definitely a safe bet as its got Swagath's best delicacies. The Tiramisu also has quite a nice flavor but it's over even before you indulge in it. <br/>Prices are quite reasonable but the dessert was surely overpriced!<br/><br/>Would love to visit again.

Visited this place on the 25th, ordered a lamb burger and sausage rolled in bacon starters. First of all it wasn't minced lamb, as in the menu. The bun itself was a wee bit dry and the lamb filling inside lacked a definite taste and punch. The caramelised onions in it dominated your tastebuds. Would not repeat it all. <br/>The bacon and sausage starters too lacked a flavour, it was as though someone just took out frozen foodstuff, heated it in a pan, and served it to you, definitely fell way below my expectations. <br/>All in all a pretty sad experience.

have been a longstanding fan of the south indian non-veg fare provided by Swagath as a unique standout. I had been hearing rave reviews of the place from fellow hardcore foodies so trotted over just as soon as the navratri deal was done for a girlie lunch. Good news....plated combos from Swagath are served in an ambiance that is refreshing/whimsical/eclectic. The food can be a bit temperamental though...fish malabari appeared laalmaas inspired for chilly quotient, veg stew was a tad undercooked, the coffee was blah, yet the appams still made the heart sing. As an old fogey still cannot totally approve of presence of lil kids and the carrom/pictionary brigade in a centre stage bar ambiance...but am assuming the authorities have no objections...so who are we to be damp squibs, eh?<br/> <br/>update - am revising up the rating since the lunch today was really good. loved the mint teekha pani with the panipoori and the three combos ...chinese manchurian, methi mutter malai and my go to appam n veg stew all came out just right. the banoffee...though tiny is a very tough to resist dessert. sorry, was too busy to click food pics, as is so often the case!

Just probably 10 paces from the whistling duck, makes it the ideal place to first have your drinks here (which are very reasonably priced) and then head off for your meal. The decor is modern and interesting with carom boards laid out on the table apart from various other things which can keep the evening interactive and fun filled rather than the usual mundane. Further, the DJ played some good music while we're there (hopefully it's usually the case) and therefore overall it's a classic pub kinda place albeit a little upscale, which only adds to it. Last but not the least, love the Friam's which they serve with the drinks, brings back memories straight away, and yes I am old. So those who don't know what they are, buy some and try them out.<br/>VISIT 2:-<br/>A special shout out and mention for the barbecue chicken on the grill with the signature jack Daniel sauce which is absolutely fantastic and is sort of a must try.

We had to talk on the top of our lungs. The service is okay, the waiter served the food but no cutlery. Did we just come to a dhaba in a village? Even they serve you the plates and spoons along. <br/><br/>Ordered:<br/>Veg Club sandwich: 2.5/ 5 ,, it was a normal cucumber and tomato club sandwich, the fries were okay done. And the sauce was okayishh.<br/><br/>Chicken peri-peri: 3.9/5 this was nicely done.<br/><br/>Penne Arrabiatta: 3/5 the red sauce pasta was good but the bread was so crispy that it felt burnt or probably done earlier.<br/><br/>Chicken steak: 3/5 :: the steak was a little hard to cut into. The mashed potato was bland. The garlic bread and sautéed vegetables were well done this time!

New place hun!!! Nice ambience....new concept..one can play games...carom...etc.but you say na....FIRST IMPRESSION IS THE LAST IMPRESSION... not good enough .<br/>A.c was not working (it was hot) . Nd secondly I ordered a non- veg club sandwich (in the menu it says that this sandwich has bacon) but the moment they brought the sandwich I knew there was no bacon in it. When I asked their manager about it... he confidently brought the menu..nd then I showed him what their menu said about this sandwich. Nd then after 10 mins they gave me bacon (not at all crispy as one can see in the picture) ...even then the chef didn't try to make it worth eating. Big big turn off. My friend asked for Malibu...nd they didn't have. After this the place seemed...... thumbs down. Cold coffee was ok. My friend ordered a LIT..he liked it...also ordered chicken shawarma. It was good.

Love this place! The ambience is raw and funky.it has a very chilled out feel to it.love their bar! They have sofas as well as chairs.the music is fabulous.it's definitely one of a kind in chandigarh. (Mocha has a similar ambience but this place is way bigger).love the dim lights.the music is just fabulous.perfect place to unwind and enjoy an evening with friends.amazing service! staff members are extremely courteous.the menu is pretty extensive and very quirky.ordered chicken panini followed by Nutella pancakes.chicken panini was good.it was served with fries and salad.the presentation was good.chicken pieces were tender and well cooked.the bread was perfect.nutella pancakes were heavenly!!!
