Review So Delhi Khari Baoli - Chandigarh

It was my first visit in this Cafe, it was really very lovely experience. The food was truly amazing, We ordered a chicken cigar roll, which was really crispy and delicious, ohh the best part was the masala lassi, it was so delicious that I regret not having it any time sooner, chicken changezi and rumali rotis were amazing too, The flavors were soo great, the quality of the food was really admirable.

This is a very decent and lively cafe. It has great tasting paneer tikka sandwich. Coffee is good too. Service is fast. Staff is very friendly. Lighting is perfect for clicking pictures. The overall feel is very light, fun and peaceful at the same time. Interior is quite different.

Should visit here if ur a coffee lover or want to spnd some quality tym I have ordered delhi frappe which was tasty but hot chocolate was ok ok Over all ambience is grt

Me and my husband had one of those days where we waned to try Nihari at a new place. After reading multiple reviews, we decided to visit So Delhi. OMG their Khamiri Roti and Mutton Nihari is to die for. We also had chicken seekh kebab and shami kebab but their USP is definitely Nihari. Like other restaurants, they didn't act cheap by adding more bone pieces and less meat. The quantity was sufficient and worth the price plus the meat was so tender and juicy. Definitely coming back here again for more. The staff was so courteous and cooperative. TYSM for the great hospitality experience 😊

One of the best foods that I have tried! Mutton nurani with khamiri roti was really tempting. The mutton was so soft and tender with perfect blend of spices! The staff and owner were friendly. Recommended place

This place satisfied our cravings for vada pao today. Yummy food, humble staff and amazing service. And the comfortable decor!!! Not to forget the chairs... So comfortable that i wanted to take one home 😂.

Chanced upon this gem, and so glad that I did! The food here is different and there's a personal touch to everything. The owners are always around to recommend dishes and get feedback. Their grilled chicken + beetroot burger is something I'd go back for again and again! Light, delicious, and a very unique flavour. Also try their kheema pao, herbal infusions, and muffins :)

The food was amazing. The quantity of the food was just right and the taste was authentic. I tried the Mutton Nihari, Khamiri Roti, Rumali Roti and Masala Lassi. Highly recommend this place.

So about this place! Amazing hosts and out of the box menu! We booked this place for 12 people for high tea and 6 of us were fasting and the owner served us sumptuous fruit and vegetable salad with french fries! All in all amazing experience!

Great ambience and lighting and delicious food. The Nihari mutton and Afghani chicken are highly recommended. Portions are also very decent . The owners take personal interest in the day to day running of the business

One of the best non veg food I had in chandigarh

If you haven't visited, So Delhi, on your trip to chandigarh, then you have not completed your trip. It's one of the best Muglai in the city. Highly highly recommend the Nihari and the brain curry... and the breads, the list is endless, but the chilli lacha paratha must have... Host Anuj's welcome style is cherry on the top..

A must visit if you are a foodie. Our family visited last night and must ait that the dahi kebabs and Roghan Josh were amazing plus the platter of the assorted breads. The owner himself takes keen interest once you step into this very warm place . God bless the place with abundance

I advise all foodies to not go by the size or space of the restaurant because irrespective of being a small restaurant it boasts of beautiful minimal decor and calm ambience which delights your senses; they have maintained a very aesthetic washroom for their guests which means you need not worry about your stay time - you can eat and enjoy without your kids or friends bothering you on the pretext of attending to nature's call. Loved their food and their staff is very cooperative and friendly. Do try their Mac n Pineapple Salad, Falafel, Karahi Paneer and Laccha Parantha

Very good food. We ordered two varieties of chicken and mutton.. All the four dishes were very tasty. The ambiance was nice. The owner himself was taking the order and took cake of us well. I would highly recommend this place for non-vegetarians who love to eat curry chicken or mutton. Khamiri roti , lacha prantha , rumali roti all were also great and well cooked. Overall an awesome experience.

so called "OUR SPECIAL" kadahai paneer was not at all special. Below average taste n exaggerated prices.

Came across this name a lot on social media and decided to visit for lunch. The wonderful experience of this place begins from the start where you're given these cute complimentary muffins at your table. We ordered the beetroot mayo chicken burger and focaccia chicken sandwich. Both the items are served with a portion of wedges and they tasted amazing. highly recommend!

The concept of So Delhi Khadi Boali is very new for Chandigarh, the staff was good. Interior was just average.. And food for was out of expectations. From my overall order paneer tikka was little bit good. On the other hand the salad was totally coverd with lots of lettuce and capsicum.. There was only 5 pieces of paneer tikka on it..if you are looking for good food please don't go there.

Not a worth it types place.. average to the interior.. staff is good.. from my overall order paneer tikka roll was good but paneer salad was below average with alot of lettuce.. if you are thinking to visit the place don't expect much.

Food food and food is super delicious. Khameeri roti, Kadhai Paneer, Dal Makhani make you eat more than you are capable of. Deserts, especially brownie with icecream is worth having

Craving tikkas and Indian food, we ended up at So Delhi Khari Baoli in sector 7, Chandigarh, and the place did not disappoint. Packed with extraordinary interiors, and a lively atmosphere, the owner runs the place in a very involved manner.<br/>We ordered Voul-au-vent (mushroom), Chicken Malai Tikka, Mirchi Lachha Parantha, and daal Makhani, and the food was ready in record time.<br/>The mushroom Voul-au-vents were light and crispy and worth trying (*drools thinking about them xD*), and the Malai Tikka was amazing. The daal was perfect, and it tasted like I was eating it at home, no cream or excessive butter. The paranthas were a bit oily, but over all the food was good, definitely worth eating again.

Best mutton nihari ever ...it's simply awesome .the lachcha prantha is so soft goes perfect with nihari.kheema pao is amazing too..the decor and ambience is delightful....will be visiting again definitely..would highly recommend this place.

This cafe literally stole my heart. Beautiful interiors. Finger licking good food, warm and welcoming staff... it’s run by a very cute couple and the best thing is that they are so involved in the cafe and it’s services, I saw them serving food and clearing out the tables too. I tried three dishes:<br/>Mutton keema pav<br/>Vol au vents<br/>Focaccia Chicken sandwich <br/>DRINKS:<br/>Masala lemonade<br/>Lavender tea<br/>Affogato<br/>..... everything was so good and had such good flavors. Affogato... Keema Pav and focaccia sandwich were the stars of the day ❤️<br/>I would totally recommend this place!!

The concept of this cafe is very new in Chandigarh , the Ambience was soothing and really courteous staff , there mutton keema pav was the best I have had in the area, the detox smoothie was also really tasty even though it didn’t have any sugar contents , over all it’s a must try !

We visited this recently opened cafe in Chandigarh in Sector 7. The place was small, but cosy with modern decor. Food appeared hygienic and fresh. Friendly manager with personalised service.<br/><br/>We ordered the below:<br/><br/>Vanilla Oreo Milkshake - the highlight of the meal! Best oreo shake we have ever had - impeccably balanced flavours, with a pure oreo and vanilla taste that was not overly sweetened with sugar or too milky, topped with crunchy oreo pieces for texture. Would immediately be able to recognise the delicious oreo flavour if we had to drink this blind folded. And would surely be only too glad to switch off other senses to enjoy the flavour of drinking this shake!<br/><br/>Vada pav - fresh, generous serving with two portions, delicious flavour of fresh coriander and chaat. Included bhel puri which was however underwhelming in flavour even with addition of tamarind chutney.<br/><br/>Mushroom vol au vents - multiple tiny puff pastries filled with creamy mushroom filling, oozing with every bite. Could taste the herb and white wine flavours that were well balanced in the dish. Pastry was soft and baked to perfection. <br/><br/>Chocolate cupcake with icecream and caramel sauce - very dark chocolate used to make this soft cupcake. Not too sweet which was to our liking as the accompaniment of caramel sauce and icecream added well to the sweetness. Cupcake was served warm at an inviting temperature.<br/><br/>Overall - a lovely new cafe opened in Chandigarh with a fresh and modern ambience and personalised service. Food was delectable and moreish and left us wanting more. Other than bhel puri which needs some re-working for that chat pata chaat taste.
