I bought a cake from here on the occasion of mother’s day. The cake was so fresh and yummy everyone loved it. The price was very reasonable i paid 400 for this cake.

Very nice and fresh product their breads, patties and buns are very good. The staff are not good at making suggestions but they work in routine marrer. Maybe they need some incentives.

First the place smells awesome ...pastries are very fresh ...I liked in particular the chocolate roll, pine apple pastry and the cream eclairs..also the tea cake is very nice.

Awesome quality of pastries I bought. Very genuine cost compared to other stores. In short: very good quality in affordable price.

I ordered this special cake for my daughter with the conceptual design of showing 6 months old. Chef has replicated the exact design in Cream that I sent to him in Fondant(it was my requirement only).Flavour of pineapple pieces inside it made it more yummy. It was a bang on decision to order cake from Polka as the prices are reasonable without any compromise with taste or quantity.<br/>Overall I strongly recommend to order cake from Polka for your special occassions.

This place is like childhood memories.<br/>One of the oldest places i know in Chandigarh.<br/>They serve good pastry and cakes.<br/>But i feel they need to improve there presentation and menu, there is a lot of competition these days.

The food looked good but was almost never fresh. The deserts, more often than not ended up being stale and smelly. The service was okay but the food was just atrocious irrespective of the time of the day.

Delivery experience wasn't too good because as soon as I place the order I tried to get happy anniversary mom-dad added on it but the outlet didn't take calls and Zomato waiting time was 9 minutes after which I searched polkas number on internet and called them but they said that the person had already left so additions could not be done neither was Zomato representative supportive, took 9- 10 minutes to respond to the query and about the cake, I ordered eglesss vanilla choco chip cake it looks good all the choco chips toppings were not too good in position so I had to move them a little bit so that the presentation is nice, the taste was okay not too good not bad 2.5/5

I ordered a truffle pastry yesterday from zomato. Unfortunately the pastry was stale. Did not expect this from Polkas. Really a very bad experience

Food was so cold as if it was taken out of deep freeze. Food not even packed, lying directly in the parcel. No cutlery, no ketchup, no napkins.

This place is good only when you need to eat a patty or lotus icecream otherwise I would refer anybody visiting sector 34 to avoid going to this place as most of the times its food is stale and don't taste good

this place was the bakery who baked our childhood cakes , cartoon shapes , train shape , doll cakes even simple cakes were a hit in those times but ....now things are worst . recently had been to the place gain to revive those bachpan ka sawad , the pastries were stale , the cream wasn't fresh , no filling , all artificial flavoring . however only thing which was good was the patty , the flaky aloo patty was awesome .

I was in Sector 34A for a show and this was the closest place to grab a snack.<br/> <br/>Had this Mayo topped roll, Looked tasty, but was so bad ! Felt stale while eating it, moreover bread was too bad.<br/><br/>Also had a Chocolate pastry which was awful. It just crumbled down with spoon and I threw it away. I went in afternoon still the items only appeared to be Fresh, completely shit while you eat'em.

This place is a big big no for anything and everything.<br/>Cakes are so bad .. their is so much of cream in anytype of cake u pick. Also I doubt of any of those items kept at the shop were fresh.

I bought a cake from polka right after next day it got affected by fungus I realised it when I felt nausea and vomiting at work then my friend pointed out fungus in cake

Recently, ordered a fondant cake for my son's birthday. Priced @ whooping 1500/kg, I had no idea that it will be worthless spending on a 2.5kg cake. It was chocolate truffle fondant cake, it looked good. But from inside, the flavour was not at all good, had a mixed coffee flavour, which we never asked for. It was so hard, didn't seem to be freshly baked. I am not happy with it and I am never ever gonna place my order again. They used to be pretty good with cakes and pastry, but it only remains a thing of past now.

Visiting this place from last 5 or more years but now quality seems to b going down a bit. Otherwise whenever i wanna eat pastery or petties i directly visit this place. But now m looking for more option. But still i would say they have variety of cakes u can try them.

One of the oldest pastry shops in town and a good one too. Their Swiss rolls are good . Located right where you would love to have a sweet dish in the centre of small food joints offering spicy food

It is an very old shop and early on their stuff used to get over very early. Now they stock up well and new varieties of buns are there. Over all quality of food is good and I usually take bakery stuff from here. I have not tried their biscuits and all. But variety of breads can be increased with changing times. Over all their dealing is good and polite.

Since my childhood, Polka is the most fav place to buy cakes and other bakery goodies. One of the affordable and tasties items they bake. Cakes at affordable prices.Oh, how can i forget the patties and other items that we used to eat in evening after our class. i just Love the place abd that is specially because of my childhood memories. This place used to serve amazing cakes , however their quality has gone down tremendously. They need to upgrade themselves. My last experience with their Swiss rolls was pathetic, it used to be favourite, but not anymore.

Parents 27th marriage anniversary and chose polka's cake for the celebration. Earlier I've been mostly ending up at fruit cake all the time as if but this time as the kids demanded strawberry and chocolate mix it was and certainly it was a cute and tasty cake designed perfectly the way it was ordered. 2kg cake costed 1200 bucks .. and it was of good worth. If you are looking for simple, sober and pocket friendly cakes with quality, polka can be a good consideration

puffs & few pastries r d only reason why i still relish this place. taste of their swiss roll have degraded . im not a fan of their biscutti items. but quality of their cakes have started diminishing. guys buckle up befre its too late. we need u as a place to let others know tht chandigarh exists.

Ordered the cake from polka 34, as suggested by one of my colleague..previously went lot of times, but ordered cake for the first time as it was my son's 5th bday. Ordered spiderman style 5 number cake and it was ready on time.<br/>The cake was yummy and liked by all my friends and relatives..design was awesome too..will order other cakes for different occasions as well from here only..

Had heard a lot about his place so visited it a couple of times. The stuff never turned out to be that good. Every time it felt it wasn't fresh. Maybe they should focus on quality a bit ?

Polka used to be the best bakery back then around 15 years ago. I remember asking for a polka cake on my birthday. But things have changed now. They don't serve good stuff..<br/><br/>The pastries are not at par with the new bakeries.. They should emphasize a bit on quality too..

As this place has been for so many years, it is still a great place for bakery items. From tasty patties to lovely pastries and cakes. One can always buy stuff from here causally without having any kind of second thoughts about the freshness. Their stuff is always fresh and tasty. No doubt there are many places better than polka but still a great place it is. Hope they keep on serving like this for the coming years as well.

Its a good shop fr hangout too . The cakes pastries r must have on the list. I have eaten samosa filling with noodles here which was a kind of surprise for me coz i wished for a alloo filling samosas .

The Bakery and Ready to eat food items are good. <br/>NO stale food items. <br/>Polka Patty is HIT! amongst us since years.<br/>Breads & Bakeries are soft. More than a Decade old pastry shop, we used to visit its Sector 8 Branch that is no longer present. They have wonderful patties, and good rolls. Cakes are average, only good ones are> Choco Chip, Choco Mud cake, Pineapple Cake and Black Forest cake. The sector 34 shop is under continuous renovation and their hygiene level has dropped. We have to pick an item carefully these days to make sure it is clean and there is no insect. Prices have increased to double or 2.5 times but it is still reasonable.<br/><br/>Paneer Roll, Chicken Roll, Veg Patty and Cheese Patty are top pics

Polka is the first bakery shop of Chandigarh. Their patty's are simply too good. Their quality has never dropped and the food is priced very economically. I still crave for their burgers which taste very different. <br/><br/>Polka still manages to surprise me with decently priced delicious food. You can get a good snack at Polka for as little as Rs. 30. The only drawback is the cheap pastries that they have. I highly recommend this place to all the foodies. :D
