Review Lloyds Tea House - Chennai (Madras)

Food is really good. The waiter was attentive also. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the mosquitoe bites I got during a dine in. The restroom is not kept properly and there are plenty of mosquitos there too. There is an open window inside the restroom guess that's where it is coming from. If they sort out this issue it would be a great place to do a peaceful dine in.

Visited this place for my morning breakfast, The ambience is amazing. The place can make you feel comfortable instantly - nice warm and cozy. The food is delicious. Cannot even imagine camparing it to any other restaurant in town. The staff are courteous and friendly. They take care of you well. You can spend time here alone over a cup of coffee or visit with your friends and family.

The best snack spot in gopalapuram. U can spot many VVIPs here. This place serves several dishes from pastas to pizzas. Their spicy garlic bread, Thai chicken and prawn tempura were good . But their portion size was a bit small .Their Thai chicken is a must try. Its located near DAV girls school. Their desserts are a must try. ✌️👍

A must try place for chai lovers or chaiphiles. One of the must try should be the white Assam tea. Even the desert options are good enough. One could just grab a tea and a book and spend some good time here though it's on a bit expensive side.

Poliet staff. Good ambience, good food. Great place for get together for breakfast. They have some good breakfast combo. Masala chai did not taste like masala chai.. filter coffee was good.

I’ve been coming to Llyods for years now! It’s right on the main road near DAV school. A small, cosy quaint place. Llyods is available on Zomato Gold as well. Llyods is definitely known for its teas, but apart from that- they have great desserts and even food. Their breakfast menus are really quite good and some are pretty budget friendly. The Salted Caramel Cake is a must try. If you like fancy looking places with budget-ish friendly food - you’d love the vibe Llyods gives you.

It's best place for casual outing with friends. Both veg and non veg dishes are good. You can try different tea verities more than 50 different ones.As its located in small street no proper parking is there other than that everything is super cool 😎 here.

Lloyds has become my recent favourite. They have a very decent ambience and they serve the food really fast. What I like the most is the quantity will be adequately high and also the chef's do proper justice to the food quality and taste. Good going!

Ordered Vol-au-vents and cold coffee. The cold coffee was average and kind off watery. I expected it to be more rich and creamy.... The Vol-au-vents were good and fresh... It's kind of secluded so there is limited crowd which is good. The ambience was nice and has few high tables which makes it easy to work on a laptop. Else it also has sofas if you want to relax... The staff was friendly and the service was quick.. The best part was, the staff gave you privacy and would approach you only when you look for them. So this makes it perfect to have in-interrupted conversations 😉

Great place for conversations. Good ambience and crowd, decent food. Good for coffees and teas. Would prefer that over the food here.

Absolutely loved the food and service here! It's a cute cosy place you can come to for a quite meal. Their menu has a wide range of foods to select from. We went one two occassions and ate different stuff each time. Everything we ate tasted very good! The decor is cute too, and the service is very good! They are willing to customise your meal for you and also have some good recommendations to make!

Loved the overall experience. Tea had a great aroma, fries were fresh and crisp, and ambience was perfect to sit back and enjoy a cup of tea.

Good food. Place to chill with your friends. The English breakfast buffet served here is one of the best in the town. And service is really good. The world map and the ambience at the entrance gives you a feel of travellers space
