Amazing restaurant at the heart of the city. Food tastes good, good ambience and the best part is, it is open till 2 am. I went with my family and was dining in the restaurant till 11 30 pm. Till the end there were people coming and going. We felt very comfortable.

One of the best restaurants to have both continental and steaks food. Good atmosphere with fast service. Each dish is customised with customer choice. Good choice of mocktails .

Ambience was good, the food was well garnished and also tasted too good. Customer service is also excellent and the food was served as soon the order is placed I haven't waited for a long time. I loved their garnishing and the type of sauce they use in the food that I ordered. I'm in love with the butterfly chicken and they served me with delicious and creamy sauce. Must try spot for all western food lovers. But the prices are bit higher. May not be affordable to all.

Great food with a very silent and calm ambience. We went there at 11pm and they were very super good in the service. The food was amazing especially the steak we ordered, the sauce in that was finger licking good.

A good experience at the Phoenix mall outlet. Staff very friendly. Food quality 5/5 Service on point. Variety on the menu is vast - loved the flavor burst in my lasagna Bolognese. On request I got an extra serving of black olives, olive oil and green chillies. The chef agreed to make a strawberry mint and lime cocktail (off the menu). Would recommend any meat lover.

I usually frequent the Poes garden branch but this time since we were in Bessy, we decided to hit the Bessy branch. Since we were visiting on a prime time on Sunday night the service was a bit sloppy and not upto the usual standards but was not bad. The staff even apologised at the end citing the crowd as the reason which was so kind of him. Coming to the food, they maintain the standards and taste and I'm surprised by their consistency. They never disappoint you when it comes to food and the taste is the same across the branches. The only reason for the 4 star review is that the winterschintzel was not appealing to our palette.. not sure if it was supposed to be that way, because its the first time we heard and tried it but it was cold and the crust was a bit soggy. A deep fried dish being soggy is not a good sign. So that's y 4 star, and they ran out of the chocolate sauce for the sizzling brownie which was a let down to us. We're such a big fan of their sizzling brownie so the lack of sauce was disappointing. Nevertheless, we went back with happiness and tasty food. So can't really complain.

Great place, food and service. The portion size is not so big but the food is quite filling. So was advised by the staff to order less number of items than what we had decided. And seriously the items we ordered, kept me full the next day too 🤫 Only hitch - the garlic bread needs to be immensely improved or better not serve as it's not at all crisp rest all was good.

A lovely continental food restaurant. Loved the food, cozy ambience and amazing reception. Well mannered and polite staffs. Loved almost everything I ordered. A little pricy but worth it. The restaurant has no designated parking but vehicles can be parked alongside the road.

The food was middling, the ambience was alright, but they definitely need to replace the high rise chairs which seem very cramped up. Good thing is they keep the place open pretty late. The sausage panini was cramped with so many ingredients that nothing stood out to taste distinctively.

Best place for a cozy dinner. However it's not spacious and have to wait for long time to get your table. Would recommend for sure!

It was a Sunday night and we were not able to decide which place to go to because of the Covid situation and places closing down pretty early. Just happened to see the review of this place and quickly went down to try it out. <br/>It turned out to be just what I needed that day. Nice decent ambience and very welcoming staff. They know their menu well and suggested the best. <br/>The fish was one of the best I have had in Chennai. Perfect lemon butter sauce ever! Panko Chicken was sooo juicy on the inside and yet crispy on the outside. Absolutely loved it! And of course the mushroom soup was pure soul food! <br/>Amazing food and very courteous staff! Do give this place a try!

The staff helped me place an order for my family in Chennai while I'm in Bangalore. I really liked how Mahi Radha personally called & ensured my order was intact and updated me on the delivery. Ordered Alfredo pasta combo from here. The pasta had hair it and was delivered one hour late. The packaging appeared tampered. I called the restaurant and sent the video. The manager apologized and said next time you order, one item will be given free! Really? Is it Zomato Gold offer? Anyone else would just offer a free meal to compensate! Not sure whose fault it was. Looking at the packaging, have a strong suspicion that Zomato driver checked out the food. Loss of money n time!

Located in Bessy very close to beach, Jonah's serves some great food. Checked in on a Sunday noon and ambience was good, the restaurant however is cozy and it's a small place, not recommended for group parties as it would get conjusted!!!!... Served as an embarrassment, as I was raving about the place and literally forced my friends to come around. However the food was unpalatable! I do not know what has happened to the place, it was probably good once upon a time! However the last few times I visited this place has been a bad experience!

We came here for our team lunch. Though we could not get a chance to try out many of the main courses or desserts, I must say the starters were well worth it. Especially beef and fish starters. The only hard part was that we were a group of 10 and we were cramped a bit as they did not have a single table for 10. The ambience and service are of good standards.

We had chicken wings which was crispy and tasty. Pasta which was evenly spread with correct sauce and chicken breast with mash potato and mushroom sauce.. Overall the food was excellent and worth for money.

Me and my friend visited this out of curiosity,the area was quite nice , the restaurant really had a good ambience and the staff were very kind and polite, even while ordering the food the staff were kind enough to allow us to customize our food.The food was very delicious,we really enjoy every bit. The only drawback was that they didn't have restrooms , what kind of restaurant doesn't have a restroom, it's pittiful.<br/>

So I wanted to visit this place for long, so went there on a Monday after the office in expectations for some good food and ambience.<br/>The location is pretty basic and it took us a little time to spot this one. It is located on the first floor. However, when you enter, the place has a calmness to its vibes and believe me that's the only reason for 2 stars.<br/>Since we were confused between two dishes, we asked the staff there to explain the dishes and they were just clueless. They couldn't tell a thing , let alone suggesting. This is a major let down for me, it shows the staff is not well informed about the food. Just the dip saved this disaster a bit.<br/><br/>The cottage cheese steak was average. Since I am mot a huge fan of paneer and mushrooms, i didn't like it. But my friend kinda liked it. If we would have chosen tomato sauce then it would have been better. It was way too creamy for our taste. We couldn't complete this as well.<br/><br/>Since we went through Dineout 50% off deal, the bill didn't hurt us, otherwise I didn't find it worth the price.<br/>

All stars! Loved the food. Interiors were warm and cozy though hygiene was not well maintained and it had a slight off smell dispersed in the air. This could be a one time thing. But food compensated for that.

Visited this place for its famous MONSTER BURGER. Woah, it is an adventure in food.<br/><br/>The patty was so juicy and soft. Someone with a good appetite can finish off the entire burger. Modifications were welcomed. Beef patty + Chicken patty + Turkey bacon + Egg + Veggies + Cheese 🤤 and complimentary fries! And... some salad.<br/><br/>Fish and chips were comparatively good. We went there after visiting Bessie beach. The place of small and chic but we did not like the sofas, they were dirty, high time they re furbish or clean up. We had chicken bbq wings and some continental for mains which were good.

A very good place for dinner! Right from the starters to the desserts everything is so perfect. Soup is of the right flavor and composition but served in a very large quantity. The steak is so rightly prepared with perfection. Waffles taste so good. They also have few books in store - Cosy place for book lovers!

Friend and I walked quite a bit and thought we will have a nice dinner here last night. We ordered the Mushroom soup (which was a winner on its own), pan fried fish fillet and ratatouille. None of the dishes had any issue with them. We were so joyous that we didn't share much and finished it all and cleaned the plate. So much so that we didn't have space for dessert. But would like to go there to try out their waffles sometime!

Visited the restaurant for my birthday lunch . My I made no mistake of choosing this place to have my lunch. We began with cream of mushroom soup, garlic bread, potato wedges. Paneer sizzler , smoked chilli rice and summer salad. I absolutely loved the taste and flavor, especially the smoked chilli rice. We finished off with the most recommended Belgian waffles which was out of the world. I'm definitely coming back for more.

Though I ve left chennai I will definitely refer this place to my friends who are still there. Ordered well done tenderloin steak with creamy mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables on side. The ambiance was bit dark. The restaurant had the contest to eat burger and fries in 6 minutes but we failed. Pasta was good. Other starter items were also good.But no handwash or restrooms were available. Prices are higher.

We had ordered a beef steak, ceasar salad. Beef steak tasted normal. There was nothing extra ordinary. Ceasar salad was bad. I have had good ceasar salads from less hyped places. They had charged a 10% service charge that we felt was too much. But you can always ask them to take that off from the bill, before u pay.

Been to Jonah's Besant Nagar a couple of months ago! We ordered pesto pasta, thai red curry cheese balls and waffles with fruits and nutella. Found the food okay, not very great. Nothing was bad but for the price point you'd expect better service and great food!

Had visited Jonah's last weekend with family (5 of us - 4 adults and 1 child). While the food was ordinary the overall experience left a bad taste.<br/><br/>To start of when we got there there was no table free. Their offer was to join two tables and asked us to proceed to the table. Only problem was the other table already had a customer and the staff view was that the guest was going to finish in 5 minutes and hence it was fine. Anyway, we asked to just get us an extra chair.<br/><br/>Then there was quite a delay in bringing the menu. Additionally, they forgot to set the table and provide the silverware for my son. We finally had to ask for it when they finally served the starters.<br/><br/>Now multiple things on the menu was not available. Example, no wraps, no chocolate sauce.<br/><br/>Once you order, service was slow and the waiters were nowhere to be found if we had to ask something.<br/><br/>Next, when they brought the food there were multiple instances where they served the orders at wrong tables.<br/><br/>The biggest issue was, the cleanliness. Our table was in a corner where there was no direct AC vent. The patrons in the next table asked if the restaurant could do something. The staff opened up the end of an AC vent and suddenly their table and their food was covered dust that blew out of the vent.<br/><br/>Such bad experience in terms of ambience. Would not suggest this place.

Have been to this place only once. The glasses weren't clean. The place was stinking. Dunno if that's the case everyday or just the day I was there. The food was good. Nothing much to say.

0/5 for food, my 2nd visit to jonah’s bistro and the worst experience since my first visit was far better, ordered beef burger, chicken burger , fish and chips and some coolers. Beef burger patty was undone and not fresh, fish was also not fresh. Not expecting to get fish from sea to the table

The most awaited place. The food were tasty. Had a tomato soup, cheese dynamite, paneer sizzler, spicy fried rice.. Everything tasted food but the quantity seems lesser. The items came quick but we expected to be served by the hotel persons but not to be. Other than that, it was good.

Even though, the Bistro is located close to Elliot's Beach, it was calm and not crowded at all.<br/>Fish and Chips was too good. The fish was perfectly cooked, the breading was properly fried. Not soggy at all. The fish was flaky and soft in the inside and crispy on the outside.<br/>Monster Burger was top notch. It was very juicy and a person with a good appetite will be able to finish it. I'd recommend deconstructing the burger and eating one patty separately to enjoy the flavour. However, we had requested the chef to replace one beef patty with chicken patty, which wasn't a clever thing to do. The bacon strips were grilled and not fried.

Menu is perfect, something for everyone. Service was awesome. Only thing that i feel should be improved is they must serve food in a much quicker way otherwise the food is wonderful..🥰💛

If you are keen on alternative cuisine, you must visit Jonah’s. I visited the besant nagar outlet. Contemporary ambience greets you. They have bar stool seating also. The staff was polite and courteous. I ordered a bunch of stuff - mushroom soup and paneer satay in starters. For the mains, ordered club sandwich and grilled chicken. Most dishes have choice of sauce so high likely you will find something that suits your taste buds. All items done well and tasted great. Highly recommended. Note that this is also a Zomato gold restaurant. Don’t forget to enjoy the gold privileges.

The garlic bread and pancakes were good. The servicing needs to be a bit smoother. We had gone there in morning and the service was really very slow and also pls do keep sandwiches for breakfast in mornings as well as we were denied for sandwich at 10 am.

I heard a lot about this place from my fellow foodies. Although my buzzkill was right there when I was shown to my booth, the seats were so dirty and I could not just ignore it. Coming to the food, had a lasagna and pasta, both of them were an 8/10 and came with a good quantity , 2 of us could not finish the dishes.

With a pretty easy location, right near besant nagar, is this bistro. The food is pretty good and my most favourite part are the dessert jars available at this bistro. :D

Being a foodie first thing i’ll want is portion size of the dish should be good but here i felt it was less than what i paid for...Quality of food was good but the quantity was not good enough... and there was an error in billing too, they added 229 instead of 299 for the 1+1 food. 299 being 2nd highest price among all the dishes we ordered. And staff over here is bit unaware about the zomato gold rules as in which dish will be considered free. As per zomato to dish whose price is less or equal to highest priced dish will be given free under zomato gold. But the staff there was trying to explain us some different rule only... I found this behaviour a little off-putting.

We ordered the chicken club sandwich priced at Rs. 339/- and the chicken big boy burger priced at Rs 449/- . The ambience is calm and soothing, but the food takes a pretty long time to end up on your table. The burger was definitely big enough for one bite. Was juicy and accompanied by fries and a nice salad. The club sandwich was also good but was mild in taste. If yoy like your food on a slightly higher spicy note, the sandwich might not be an option for you.

Many dishes in the Menu card were not available, extremely slow & lopsided service. Overall a disappointing experience especially since we had got guests from outstation

Over rated.... The best thing about this restaurant is nice clean drinking water since it's near a beach (salt water). Warning .. I chose poorly (HIMYM) . Do not make the same mistake.

The food was so good. The way the present is amazing. But the management did not accept zomato gold. And told us some lame reason which was not valid. Anyways other than that it was amazing.

One of the best places to eat great tasting food. I have been here many times almost all the times the food was exceptional especially their starters are wonderful.

Im actually a fan of jonahs and have tried in 2 outlets VR mall and phoenix mall. This tIme i had in besant nagar branch, the food was bad, bad taste, old vegetables, salty chkn parmigiana, worst pink sauce pasta. I would suggest you guys to try jonahs only inside the malls. I would give 5 for the outlets in mall.

This was my first visit to Jonah’s Bistro, me and my friend had Alfredo pasta (chicken) which was good but not fully satisfied because few pieces of Penne were a bit undercooked and sauce was just good and it was cheesy ❤️ and we tried Jonah’s special steak(Beef steak) cooked with red wine and I ordered for medium rare I think since it was not slow cooked it was chewy and dry inside so we re ordered and made to Parmagiana which is chicken bread grill fried with sphagetti and I’m really sorry that 😬 it was the best dish which I tried from there and the chicken well was cooked and the batter fried and cheese on it was very good . But still I recommend to visit the place but when you order the steak just ask them to cook perfectly. Pasta was just normal like all other place except it was cheesy (which I liked about) and ambience was quiet good too quite peaceful and the view outside is also good ❗️

Usually one of my fav but this time food was horrible. Ordered the usual pasta and beef. May be they don't like zomato gold members. This i really annoying
