A few years ago, Bombay Halwa House was packed by 8.00 PM, especially on weekends. The prime location, a fair amount of parking space and the food brought families flocking to the place.
Then Covid happened. And when everyone switched to ordering on phones, the hotel went into passive mode.
The crowds have still not returned. Or they've discovered fancier places close by. And while the food is still as we remembered, the empty tables are not. Which is a pity.
Good North Indian food is still not as widespread as it should be. The mooli paratha. The koki recommended by the helpful waiter. And the babycorn pakodas, with a thin, spicy covering deep fried and then soaked in green chutney for that burst of spicy salty goodness.
The old world waiters are disappointed when you don't order enough to feed an army. They are used to seeing large orders, not a few lines on the kitchen order token.
Our man tried. But we gently turned him off and said that we wanted the pleasure of eating a little, not a lot. He actually looked hurt.
The decor is simple and the food fresh. It reminds you of what eating out in the 80s was like. The plates, the portions and the serving was from another time
The glitzy places have taken over. But if you want a burst of nostalgia and street food served in relatively nicer surroundings, walk in and savour the good old Ghar ka Khana.

Authentic Punjabi restaurant, situated near Kelly's in the first floor.
You get All kinds of delicious North Indian food here. Very good restaurant. The quality of food is good, quantity is just OK. Prices are a little bit high

A famous eatery in the kilpauk locality and have been serving the area for quite some years . This is a proper restaurant with ample seating facilities and decent ambience ...the place is not that crowded during weekdays but fills up during the weekends. Prices are on the higher side. But they make it up with copious amounts of things like cashew badham in their menu. The food i ordered had almost a handful of cashews. The menu has a lot of options and the place. Overall good for once in a while outing.

This time, last year.As we wanted to get our flight from Chennai International airport for Malaysia.we were in Chennai and had our lunch and dinner at Bombay halwa..taste was soooo good🥰 all were awesome!
Still remember mouth watering food..
Food cravings chennai Where Chennai eats
One of the oldest Vegetarian North Indian restaurant in Chennai with the traditional cooking flavours and taste, bombay halwa house is the original restaurant available today to try out North Indian foods in Chennai!
.
We had an awesome dinner from lassi, rotis, Manchurian, gravies to falooda and everything were rich in taste and quantity was appreciative!
.
I started with Spl.BHH lassi, it was so thick and tasty, it was filled with malai at the bottom which have additional taste to it!
.
Then we had chilly paneer and mushroom Manchurian with papad as staters. They were well fried and presented well. It were crispy and fresh to taste.
.
Then we had Spl.BHH family platter, it has a combination of 6 starters and serves 3-4 peoples made of paneer, mushrooms, pineapple, capsicum... each one being different and unique in taste and flavour.
.
Then we had different rotis and breads from Masala kulcha, Cheese Garlic naan, methi Parotta, Ajwain parotta and gobi kulcha. Each bread were made fresh and quality and quantity was par to the price!we even had veg biryani and paneer schezwan fried rice. .
Gravies included paneer cheese tomato, gobi keema mutter, Veg kholapuri, dhall maharani and methi malai corn!
Dal maharani had 5 types of dhall which makes it distinguished from others, stuffed tomato had paneer stufings inside, so you can have whatever combinations you want mostly here!
.
Finally we ended with indian faloodas (must try) which were so good and were available with Ice cream or kulfi. Both were different completely in taste, so try to taste both!
.
Overall, it is an awesome restaurant running successfully for such a long period with the same pride and quality. So food is so reliable. You will have ample parking and it is child friendly. Staffs are so polite and caring.

This restaurant has been my go to place when we have to eat Vegetarian food for many years. Conveniently located close to where I live, its on the 1st floor and serves some delightful, authentic North Indian dishes. They serve pure veg food cooked in hygienically maintained kitchen using Desi Ghee. They are the original and have no other branches.
The menu is rather extensive and has predominantly Punjabi food, Desi Chinese with Jain options too. They serve selected Sindhi dishes for which you have to pre order a day before.
I started off proceedings with a delightful Veg Manchow Soup and was taken in with the flavourful broth, with generous pieces of ginger and garlic adding to the zesty feel. Baby Corn Manchurian, Chilly Paneer and a Veg Kabab platter were our starters. The taste was totally on point and I loved the presentation of the platter which came with a lit tomato flower.
Since we were a large group we went along with the owners suggestion, plus a few of my evergreen favourites - Masala Kulcha, this panner and vegetable stuffed Kulcha has to be one of the best in the city. This pairs really well with the Gobi Keema Mutter, which I haven't tasted elsewhere.
Veg Kolhapuri, Methi Malai Corn, Stuffed Tomato were the other gravies we tried with Cheese Garlic Naan, Methi Paratha, Gobi Paratha and Ajwain Paratha. Special mention must be made of the Dal Maharani- which is made with 4 types of lentils as opposed to the 3 types used in Dal Makhni. We also tried the Schezwan Paneer fried rice, my son's favourite and the Veg Dum Biriyani. All the dishes were excellent and I must say that the taste was distinct in each dish.
We were totally stuffed by then but couldn't resist trying a bite of Special Kulfi Falooda. The homemade kulfi was cut into cubes and loaded with rabdi and falooda. A rich and satisfying finale to the meal accompanied by the lively conversation we had with Mr. Rajkumar Duseja and efficient service by Mr. Sharmaji. They do have a party hall which can comfortably seat 50 people and can be hired for private gatherings.

The one and only original Bombay Halwa House @chennai since 1948 serving by the three generations.
BHH is completely :- Eat for Health. A pure veg restaurant having a special sub section for jain and sindhi foods.
This place makes you feel homely and comfortable for a great experience to enjoy your meal happily and have visuals of artistic pieces hung on the wall. Dishes were mouth-watering and too beautifully served by the staffs specially Sharma ji.
They served us….
Drinks-
Khus soda: pingy-punchy as a refresher.
Strawberry passion mocktail: lovely fusion and well presented.
Starters-
Cheese masala khicha: a papad well crisped having masala cheese and many more as a topping.
Chatpatta paneer tikka: too good to be true! Soft moist and very deliciously presented. Have a look a look at my images. A dish you must try for sure.
Chilly mushroom: a Chinese starter giving mushroom a finest touch.
Main course-
Veg. kolhapuri: mixed vegetable dish never had that before. Good and tasty. Highly recommended.
Paneer butter masala: oh, paneer why you so amazing and fantastic.
Cheese garlic naan, butter roti & ghee fulka: Indian breads the way Mum makes.
Dessert-
Sindhi kulfi falooda: that’s how we end our dinner!! On a sweet note.
An additional point is that they have an attached 50-seater hall for family get-together and birthday mashups.
One of the cleanest and finest kitchen space and inventory (they allowed me inside).
Thankyou Rajkumar Duseja for your time and hosting us so generously.
Btw I was the 1st food blogger covering this place….haha:D

The food served was very good and fresh we love to go there now and then with my family. Due to metro works you have to park the vehicles on the road now. Careful for that,it is a busy road.
GAYATRI RAVI
One of good north Indian restaurants in Chennai. Their starters were awesome and it was really worth the money. Great service and ambiance. Their Jain option also has wonderful dishes. They accept payment via Swiggy dineout as well.

Staff is very humble and polite.

Best place for North Indian foods. Especially chat items, the food is fresh and delicious. If you are a cheese lover try cheese naan with malai kofta.
MURALI NATARAJAN
Bombay halwa house, a vegan meal restaurant in purusaiwakkam is a Chik joint for north indian vegetarian food.
They also provide Jain food.
The restaurant is nicely designed, has good ambiance, asthetically pleasing to the eyes.
The menu is wide & also has Chinese cusine's.
Food is very tasty and is served neatly.
However the quantity is less in comparison to the price.
Good food at a high price.

They don't permit dine-in during this time, but if u call them in advance, they'd let you. <br/>The place was pretty sanitised. Food was really good. Their naan was the softest naan in Chennai.<br/>We ordered Gobi Manchurian and achaari paneer for starters. Butter naan and veg stuffed naan along with paneer lababdar. Extremely soft naan along with really spiced paneer along with a bottle of chaas. <br/>To be honest, the chaas was not up to the mark, salt was not enough and when we added salt, it was too thick to mix well. <br/>It was a good experience amidst the lockdown.
Sweet Tooth
I've ordered twice from this resto during lockdown. The packaging of food is on point, thoroughly sealed. 🙏🏻 I requested for extra onions and they never failed to follow special instructions. 👌🏻 I've tried palak paneer and special dal makhni. Absolutely loved both the dishes, delectable. 😃 Onion kulcha was nice as well, so was the garlic naan, but the portion of garlic naan could've been a tad bit more. Roti was usual. I'm definitely gonna try more from here.
Kamesh Kumar
Quality & taste is ok.. but no Zomato gold available.. only cash & card
Priya
The best food I have had so far. All the dishes were yummy. Package was well done. Food arrived on time. Thank you. Kudos to the entire team.
Karthika Srinivasan
Rotis were fine but lababdar paneer was but oily.

Finally came the desserts kulfi and ice-cream Falooda and gulab jamun. Over priced and less quantity. Thali was over priced and the quantity was very less. The gravy served was of less quantity. Kulfi falooda was served in a cup rather than a glass. Rabdi too was less and served in a very tiny cup. Both were priced at ₹140 each. Not worth the money but taste was good. There are many restaurants out there that give u excellent food and charge very less compared to them. TRY THEM AND NOT BOMBAY HALWA HOUSE. disappointed

It was lunch time we were so hungry so reached Bombay halwa house in kilpauk..They serve authentic north Indian food .. we ordered soup, masala papad, planner tika, corn, roti, sabji etc we really enjoyed the food which is good in taste and each and everyone loved it
Ashish Sharma
Have been there few times and every time enjoyed the meal be it lunch or dinner. Taste was the same all the time and wasn't disappointed by any dish we ordered. There could be waiting time especially during dinner, but I make it a point to be there by 7:30 to avoid rush 😁

Yummy North Indian Dhaaba Cuisine is just why you want to go here! The food is good and yummy too! Classic Naan, Panner and Dal is the food of the North Indian! And let’s make sure you don’t miss out that mouth watering Chaach(Buttermilk)

This restaurant is mostly recommended for family dinners .! One of the best when it comes to vegetarian restaurants. The food is spicy and perfect .

Too BAD. THE PANEER WAS RUBBER. THE HALWA DIDNT HAVE ANY JALWA. THR BOMBAY REFERENCE SHOULD NOT BE USED BECAUSEA VADA PAAV FROM ANDHERI STATION MADE OUT OF STATION WATER IS BETTER TASTING THAN YOUR ENTIRE MENU. PLEASE SHUT DOWN. PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE.
Shravan Manohar
Been going here for years now. The food here is amazing. Only problem i had here is that because of the crowd you'll have to wait for about 15 to 20 mins.
Namit Mehta
The food you get is quite authentic but if you are in your 20's you might find it less spicy<br/>My experience was satisfactory as I had travelled all the way from potheri<br/>There is nothing special about this restaurant as it is hyped<br/>The ambience has that 90's touch which hasn't been upgraded<br/>The prices are slightly above the edge but you'll not be disappointed nor overwhelmed after eating here
Ambalal Jain
Not good for Sunday online food booking, not accepting order on Sunday, waste n not good in urgency time,my rating is total zero for this restaurant.<br/><br/>
Jitendra Meena
low quality. as per price
Abhishek Menon
Tasty and Delicious food but slightly overpriced for the quality they serve. <br/>The quality of the food and hygiene is great and have a wide range of dishes to chose from.<br/>The drawbacks are only during rush hours and when waiters often forget to get your food or end up getting something wrong.<br/>Overall a family restaurant with perfect North Indian taste. The buttermilk is a must try while the other items are pretty mainstream.<br/>⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Ranjani Krishnan
Cheats .didn't send sweet and buttermilk and charged me full amount.zomato support is also useless.all cheats.never ordering from this place again

This place is located on the first floor inside a complex in Balfour Road, Kilpauk. Food is excellent and this is one of the best places for North Indian Cuisine. Prices are alright except for the small rotis , which cost around 40 bucks. Ambience is good although they could have given little attention to the fragrance inside the place.
Abhishek Sreedhar
Ordered ( for 2 people) - Banjara paneer tikka, onion paratha, gobi paratha, gobi masala and veg dum biryani. Cost - ₹900. There are five medium sized paneer pieces in the starter. It's highly priced for the quantity served. For the parathas we had the option to choose from tandoor or tawa style. Tandoor parathas were good. Overall the taste is good but highly priced.
Akshad Chordia
Food is served good and quantity and quality also. Price is also less .<br/>Ambience : 5.....<br/>Taste : 5....<br/>Restaurant is spacious...<br/>Family Type Restaurant

Food was very spicy even after requesting for less spice.Dal Makhani is good but again too spicy.Quantity is fine.A little too much oil in the curry.
Abilash1388
Ordered Stuffed Paneer Tikka, it came very cold wen asked the staff said just madr freshly, it was very cold. After repeatedly asking them they heated the same fud n brought it. Totally Sucked.. Def not worth the money too. ₹300 fr that **** very bad..

The flavours and the food and the colours are just amazing!!! a perfect family restaurant! The food is extremely classy! Let it be a home delivery or if we personally dine at the restaurant the smiles are always on!

This is one of the most under rated North Indian Pure Veg restaurants. Their food, ambience and service will never let you down. They are masters in Paneer Tikka and Green Chutney. Their khichia and Manchurian are must have items on your meal. For the quantity and quality of food that they serve, the rates are pocket friendly. Their Masala Butter Milk is also very tasty and refreshing. Their main course is also very filling! Their kulfi falooda and Pan ice cream is a must try.

One of finest North Indian restaurants in Chennai. Quite a a high class restaurant. <br/><br/>Ambiance: 5/5<br/>Quality: 4.5/5 <br/>Taste: 4.5/5 <br/>Quantity: 3/5 <br/><br/>A very Small Roti is charged 40₹ & Nan 70₹ which are way too costly for restaurant of this class. But, taste is fine absolutely. Quantity is also little less for the gravies. They can reduce the filling in their vessels and fill it with more dish instead. <br/><br/><br/>Otherwise, it’s absolutely fine. <br/>Serving and customer service is excellent. <br/><br/>Must try in Chennai. Apt for families and friends- get togethers. <br/><br/>Dishes I liked : Dum aloo & Mushroom starters - very fine in Chennai. <br/><br/>Overall: worthy and must try. <br/><br/>Attached photos. <br/><br/>Regards,<br/>Sairam

A typical north Indian cuisine family restaurant with good and clean ambience. The menu gives you a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Cheese balls was a starter that we had. The rotis, naans and kulchas were perfectly cooked. The phulkas were extremely soft. The Dal makhni and paneer handi had their flavours well maintained. <br/><br/>Ambience 4/5<br/>Value for money 4/5

Bombay Halwa house had been a ' go to ' place for my family for north Indian ,vegetarian food.<br/>We normally opt for home delivery rather than dining there though we have done so a couple of times in the past.<br/>Though recently decided to try a dine in experience.<br/>They have 2 different kinds of seating, high chairs and tables on one side and low ,lounge like seating on the other.<br/>Started off with the Chocopie shake,so satisfying and rich<br/>Chilly Paneer,Babycorn Manchurian and the huge Veg Kabab Platter were our starters.<br/>Loved the taste of all the three dishes and must say the presentation of the platter was great with the lit tomato flower in the centre adding to the allure.<br/>In addition the Masala Kulcha ,my favourite here we ordered the Ajwain ,Methi Parathas and the Cheese Garlic Naan.<br/>The masala Kulcha has a delicious stuffing of veggies and mashed paneer and pairs very well with the gravies and the Maharani Dal we ordered.<br/>The Gobi Kheema Mutter is minced cauliflower and peas in a rich ,tomato based gravy.<br/>Every bite is so satisfying.<br/>Methi palm corn,Veg Kholapuri,Stuffed tomato curry were all good.<br/>The kulfi Falooda was my dessert choice, the kulfi is housemade and chunks of it with falooda and rabdi will definitely satisfy your sweet cravings.<br/>I tried the hot gulab jamun with ice cream ,on point as well.<br/>Did take a quick tour of the kitchen and was gratified to see that it was spic n span.<br/>Overall a good place to enjoy some wholesome ,comfort food.

For veg North Indian food this is a good place.we had Achari Paneer Tikka , Gobi Manchurian as starters. They were good but Manchurian was like normal pakoda made from home. I missed the veg dum briyani had to order normal one which was really ok. Breads and Paneer Labradar was good. You can try the pan ice cream which is special here.

Mirchi tod khana. That’s the best description for this place. Fresh hot amazing food. Their paneer tikka is mind blowing. It’s not a very sophisticated place, but the food is too good. For appetisers do not miss those khichia with mint chutney. It’s the best mint chutney I’ve had in chennai. Malai methi Matar is a must try and so is their dal tadka. They serve one of the best tandoori rotis in town. If you enjoy onions ask them for a plate of masala pyaaz. <br/>Desserts are good too. Rabri kulfi is nice. And finish your meal with a beer :p yes ask them for it. It’s made In house and is amazing. Won’t get you tipsy but you’ll be very happy. P.S. it’s non alcoholic.

Just another one if those restaurants who are average on their food and do not seek customer's satisfaction.<br/>Waiters are careless and do not care for the feedback given.<br/>

The food: Delicious.<br/><br/>The ambience: Good enough.<br/><br/>The service: Quick enough even during peak hours.<br/><br/>Should you be there? If you wanna taste some of the best North Indian food in town, then yes. Just grab your keys, book an Ola, or just walk there is it's close enough. And do it right now.<br/><br/>Happy Eating.<br/><br/>Ciao.

Prompt service and good food. Decor was OK. Not much crowd as we went on a week day. Tried phulka, paneer butter masala and veg-paneer pulav. Pulav was OK, but phulka was soft, the curry was well made.

I make it a point to visit this place at least once in a month. I'm one of their biggest fan. My favorites are Gobi Manchurian, masala papad , pudhina paratha and methi Malai paneer. My mouth waters even while reviewing this place. This place is worth to be in your list of must visits. If you are a North Indian cuisine lover then you ll definitely love this place. They also serve some amazing buttermilk here!!

Super tasty vegetarian food.We ordered chandini paneer Tikka , diwani handi, ajwain naan, methi naan and plain naan. The chandini paneer tikka was wonderfully spiced and totally worth a try. The diwani handi I wish were a little more spicy; so I recommend taking the veg kolhapuri. The ambiance is casual and the restaurant is a bit on the expensive side but worth it for a taste of north Indian food in South.

Not much to write, simple and good North Indian vegetarian food. Cheese kofte is really recommended. Food is good for tongue and pocket. Overall good experience.

Family restaurant with good ambience and excellent north indian food. All paneer dishes, both starters and maim course are just delicious. The tandoori chutney cannot get any better, just perfect.
Mohit Dwarkani
It has a good food and it's quite expensive on few things. The waiting time gets much longer for getting the table and even after making up an reservation by call then also we have to wait after going there...!!
Aditi
Authentic North Indian food which you get in resturants back home. <br/>Paneer starters are to die for.<br/>In most of the dishes there's a balance between subtlety and spicy flavour. At times good can be very oily though.

I don't even need to review this place. The paneer tikka and green chutney here are life. ❤ Baby corn Manchurian too! North Indian is lovely, it's pocket friendly. 😂 Go for lunch. It's beautiful.

The quality of food is excellent but the hospitality is very poor they just switched off Ac while one is still eating and brought the finger bowl as well... They just wanna get rid of customer by 3 pm at any cost...) Never again will visit this place....!!!

BHH.... Sunday lunch here. We were 3 people, very hungry. We were on a only paneer diet.. 😂😂😂<br/>The order was : <br/>1. Paneer paratha <br/>2. Paneer pulao <br/>3. Tandoori roti with paneer kaali mirch <br/>4. Phulka and yellow dal tadka <br/>5. Gulab jamun <br/>6. Rabdi<br/>Paneer pulao was the best of all we ordered. Other dishes were okayish.. Something was wrong with either the oil or the ghee they used in the dishes which actually let down the taste of those.. <br/>The Gulab jamun and rabdi were also not very nice. Was expecting something great from the dessert section but was let down so much.. <br/>One thing is that, the paneer used was soo tender and juicy.. And the quantity served is very very less.. Compared to qty they have priced their dishes high.. <br/><br/>The review is completely based on my taste buds and my love for food. (no influence)..<br/><br/>Thank you 🙏<br/><br/><br/><br/>

Bombay Halwa House by it's name itself used to draw attention to public. It was used to be housefull night every weekend but now it has lost it's magic. Been to this place number of times but now it has to pull up it's socks and get a new and creative look to attract more public and give a tough competition to it's nearby restaurants!

Best north indian food I ever had in chennai.<br/>Brilliant Paneer they serve. Absolutely mouth watering. Really succulent.<br/>Every single dish in the menu tastes divinely.<br/>Service was good. It's always jam packed. Parking is a bit issue but never mind.<br/>Chaas and masala papad should never be missed out!
Sundar
One of the best north Indian restaurant in Chennai. Papads, lassi and stuffed parottas and kulchas are delicious. Stuff paneer tikka was awesome.Waiting time is huge at peak hours because of less number of seating capacities.

Was planning to visit this place for some time and today could make it.It was bit crowded being Sunday but could get a table with no waiting.<br/>Ambience is just average and so is the service but it is quick.Ordered tomato soup, paneer tikka for starter but starter was served only after serving the main course( Sunday and rush the reasons!)<br/>Main course the usual tandoori roti with malai kofta, mushroom kadai and veg dum biriyani.Roti was nice but the gravies tasted more or less the same and not that great. The malai kofta was totally different from what was expected( expected a creamy, delicately flavoured white gravy with brown dumplings) as it was a reddish gravy in tomato puree with regular garam masala and kind of disappointing.<br/>Dim biriyani was OK OK but can reduce oil.<br/>Overall an average experience.

Good food, it's difficult for a pure non veg person to settle down with veg 🤓 but with Bombay Halwa it pulls me every now and then for their paneer cheese roll with their soft rotis and there yummy chutney. <br/><br/>Service - 4.5/5<br/>Food - 5/5 <br/>Ambience - 3/5 <br/><br/>Well ambience doesn't matter if u get good food.

Located at a very nice and posh place, this place is a boon for north indian people. They serve extremely delicious food. We ordered fulkas, tandoori roti, dal makhani and chilli babycorn. The quantity of the food was good for and could be eaten by 2 people for one dish. I would definitely recommend this place.

A nice family restaurant to try north indian cuisine. The food was tasty, cost effective and the ambiance was good. Try to be early, or else the place gets crowded quickly. Had hot n sour soup which tasted good. Tried double spicy mushroom fry, which was spicy but tasted good. Main course was ghee phulka with paneer butter masala and veg biryani. Overall the experience was good.

Last weekend I went for lunch with my friend, I am not a fan of spicy nor Pungent foods. But as I was with my friend got a good choice of food which are not too much of spice nor pungent.<br/>It would be good enough if they have some description on the menu and avoid using only Hindi for communication. I couldn't notice of any great ambience, normal restaurant. <br/><br/>I miss tea in that restaurant(a tea addict). <br/><br/>Not just fork is enough, no knife. The etiquette of serving isn't that much great enough. It was a nice experience to try something different.

Good North Indian joint near Kilpauk area.. Typical mumbai type restaurant where the waiters do understand and speak Hindi.. The food is good.. Some work can be done on the hygiene.

One of the best places in Chennai to have north Indian food. The taste and quality is always at par. Quick service and have been to the place more than a couple of times.

We were 6 of us and had ordered one dum biryani and an assorted basket of rotis. Though the service was quick, the food wasn't delicious. Very poor taste and poor quantity. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for anybody who craves for north Indian food.

A very nice place for North Indian Veg, service was fast and people were very nice. Paneer tikkas and the rabdi lassi will make you forget which part of the country you are in.

Come here for a hot & spicy north indian/ tandoori/ mughlai food experience & do not care about the overflowing oil & the extra dose of garam masalas to make the food as tasty as possible. The place is decent, with minimal furniture, quick service, not so hygienic (of course u wouldn't expect this after coming in) but yet, it is thronged by the fellow vegetarians during weekend dinners. Not recommended if u are a health & hygiene freak...

I went to this restaurant for the Saturday dinner and I would like to give a 5☆ rating because the food was served on time and we didn't wait for the food. The waiters were dedicated to the guest and they were courteous.

I came to know about this place through friends. They said it is one of the old traditional pure veg north indian restaurant in chennai. I tried going once, by the time we went it was 10:30pm and they said restaurant is closed. Actual time of closure as per zomato is 11pm. So again we revisited recently.<br/><br/>This place is easy to locate. In balfour road near signal. Have space to park our vehicles. They charge Rs.10/- for car. It is located in 1st floor. It was crowded when we went. Got table to sit at ease. <br/><br/>Ambiance is nothing great. Floors are dirty. Service is super speed. One thing i dont like is pressing us to order quickly claiming that kitchen is closed. We went inside @10.20pm. If you want to close kitchen quickly dont allow anyone inside from 10pm itself. If you permit someone in, allow us to eat / order in our pace.<br/><br/>It is a big place with many table to accomodate many people. Seating is comfortable. We ordered naan, kabuli naan, kashmiri naan, mooli paratha, aloo paratha, tawa pulao, kadai veg and methi malai mutter gravy. <br/><br/>Naan, aloo paratha are average. Mooli paratha is not that great. Had better one in past. Kashmiri naan is like a paneer naan with some tutty fruity. Kabuli naan is excellent. It was filled with some chana and other masala. Both the gravies are below average for me. No spicy at all. Its plain. Tawa pulao was oily and plain. I dint like it.<br/><br/>We wish to order jaljeera and dessert but they said kitchen closed. Price is reasonable. My friends who came with me said place and taste are decent but i am not that satisfied.

Today went to this place after reading some awesome reviews about this place. Ordered panneer tikka starter and found good. Later ordered malai methi corn as suggested by waiter, thinking and dreaming of baby corn we waited eagerly, and found to get sweet corn which disappointed us a lot. Also the taste of gravy is same as that of kadai panneer gravy and everywhere else gravy. Nothing special. Then moved on to zeera rice and felt the worst finish of the day. Will never go back here. Please dont go by reviews.

Been here quite a number of times over the years. The food is always good but today found the quantity and quality had gone down. The dal lacked salt and the paneer though tasty had just two pieces of paneer :(<br/>The breads were soft... It's way cheaper than the restaurants around the area but hope they come back to their earlier reputation..!!

A good place for a food out with all the vegies ppl. 😁<br/><br/>And everytime I food out with vegetarians, usually our order goes like this,<br/>Masala papad, gobi Manchurian and some other starter, butter naan with paneer butter masala and Malai kofta, veg biriyani and then end it up with lassii and falooda.<br/><br/>This place is pakka for the above order.. and good ambiance.
