One of the most underrated outlets serving pure vegetarian fare should be The Plate, located on the ground floor, far end of Express Avenue Mall Chennai. Unassuming, clean and minimalistic and also sparsely staffed.
The food was delish and neat. The ambience is so calm and hushed you could distinctly hear your clanks and chomps in tandem. They offer a cool menu of single course, one plate meal and what caught my attention was - bisibele with potato fry, curd rice with pickle and Thai green curry with flavoured rice. One yummy fare!!

Loved the ambience very much. December Christmas decorations are simply good. Went for late dinner, and the staff there answered politely. Had a tasty dinner. Very friendly staff.
One entrance from Pattulaus Road and another from inside the mall. Wheel chair accessible entrance. Also there is a Wheel chair accessible restroom.

Absolutely finger licking, freshly prepared food. One Star deducted due to the long wait after ordering our food. But no complaints since the food was superb. Must try is their Paneer butter masala.
Nothing much to say about the ambience but well maintained and clean. Friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.

Nice veg restaurant with very good food. But they are severely short of staff. I have had food here 9-10 times, everytime I hv faced this problem. I feel since the staff are also used for food service for the rooms, that's y this slow service problem happens.

Hotel located at express Avenue mall, ample parking space is available, check in was quick, rooms were clean and cozy, food was good, staffs are courteous, easy to access mall, very convenient for shopping, perfect location , recommended 👍👍

Decent place for vegetarians. Good food. Decent spread. Main course is not great. Desserts are good. Starters are ok.. weekdays charge is good.. food will be worth the money. Weekend charges are more. Not sure if it's worth that much .. about 550..

Vegetarians know the difficulty of eating at Food court in EA mall. Not many vegetarian options out there and we always seek the two vegetarian restaurants in the food court for our food. So when we were invited for a Blogger meet at E-Hotel, it was with sheer curiosity that we landed there. It was indeed a pleasure to be in a global cuisine Vegetarian restaurant and the option to eat everything served without any exceptions. We were received well by the E-hotel team and the General Manager in particular took special interest and joined us throughout the time we were there along with the chefs.
