This place is crowded much. We went on a Sunday. First we visited to the first floor but we felt it was more stuffy then we got a table in ground floor. We ordered Turkey Briyani, Chicken Lollypop, Shark Podimas (Suraputtu), Butter Naan, Chicken chettinad gravy. Service was ultra fast, very impressed with their fast service. Chicken Lollypop and Suraputtu were awesome Turkey Briyani taste was good but the pieces of Turkey were very hard. Butter Naan and chicken chettinad was as unusual For lunch Menu, they dont have omlette which I feel that they should considering preparing Omlettes. Overall great service, Nice food.

Good Place to have Non veg Food. I tried food in their place two years before. It was very delactable. And I tried recently. Their quality didn't change. I ordered biryani and Seafood varieties. Both types were nicely cooked and It was a very decent South Indian Type Food. Must try for South Indian Cuisine Lovers.

After a Decade I went back to this restaurant which is super cool and amazing. They have improved and developed a lot. There is no point to find any problem. Everything is fine perfect. One of the best non vegetarian restaurant in Chennai for meals, biryani, any meat and fish items.

Good vibrant ambience and tasty food. It serves wide range of fresh sea foods. And it's really worth the money. Prawns and Variety of fishes are a delight to eat. Try chefs reciepie's like Crispy Chicken Fry and Chefs special prawn.

Firstly the ambient light was neat and had a pretty decent crowd which obviously says the place has some pretty good food. Food was excellent especially dragon 🐉 chicken 🐔, kotthu poratta and crispy chicken. Just loved their briyani, very tasty and favorable. Highly recommend. We ordered mutton biriyani, poratta and paaya, kotthu poratta, dragon chicken and crispy chicken. Mutton biriyani- taste was awesome with colourful never miss the brinjal churry. Poratta and paaya- very delicious combination with high quantity. Dragon chicken-one of my favourite dish really i loved it taste top notch 😋 perfect sweetness. Crispy chicken- liked as name chicken is too crispy and chruncy. Recommended for family and friends dining. But handwashing place is not much clean.

So crowded !!! Waited for 15 mts to get a table. But worthy. Taste really didn't disappoint me. There is a display at the entrance for Sea food. Where they kept the real fishes, you can choose your favorite fish out of them. Quantity and quality is too good.

Yummy!!!!!!! 😋😋😋😋 The taste was soooo good.... We ordered sankara(red snapper) fish the fish was fresh and the food is served in banana leaf..... Which is the tradition of South india. About the rate well okae....

I visited this place after 2003 and it was good to see that it was still maintained decently. Authentic chettinad cuisine and quick service. Have ample parking space and a decent ambience. Restaurant doesn't serve alcohol. Food is good. Overall a good place for family and friends.

Utterwaste, i have been to Viruthunagar countless times. Every time i had best experience. Usually Viruthunagar Barotta's are best and yummy, importantly they served with salna. But here they don't provide sidedish .

Very worst and money minded service and the taste of food also nor good at all.
If any one wants to eat and if you are near TNagar . NEVER CHOOSE THIS PLACE. this will become your bad experience.

We had delicious homely food with good service . Side dishes are good 👌👌👌 especially the nethili fish fry . Good atmosphere . Definite try .

Meals are always amazing. And what about non veg meals that has almost all your favourite items wrapped in a single meal?⠀ Then you definitely need to try the meals from the Hotel Virudhunagar Chettinad which serves authentic South Indian non veg food.⠀ My plate had lots of gravies to try and had prawn fry and nethili varuval. The prawns were cooked just right which is hard to master and the nethili fish fry was better than anything I had ever tasted before.⠀ Worth the money for sure.Everything was cooked to perfection, spiced right and it was delicious!!!⠀
Harini
We had mutton biriyani and mutton liver fry and it was very well cooked and delicious. The service was quick and the staff attended to us very well. Hoping to bring my family here in future. Loved it!

It was an ok ok experience !! Their appams were good and the chettinad chicken gravy was good ...but the biryani and kothuparota was just ok ...

I was very confused about this place but then finally decided to have my dinner here. I ordered for Sea food soup, Idiyappam, Aapam, Mutton Paaya, Mutton Biriyani, Prawn Fry, Sea food soup...

Idiyappam and Paaya was absolute heaven... It was also good with Aapam... Tried it for the first time and yes am impressed... Am not sure if it was the best but the taste was worth the try and worth the money..

Mutton Biriyani was heaven... Definitely a must try and Brinjal gravy was just what I wanted... Definitely worth each penny... Prawn fry was the best of all... The masala they had used was the authentic Chettinad style. Spicy and tasty at the same time... Tried to order it the second time but unfortunately there was no more prawns... 😕😕

The Soup was not that great... So if you are visiting this place then don’t try this sea food soup and it’s a disappointment... The place could have been maintained being a prime location they could have taken care of the cleanliness...

Visited this place for Sunday lunch. Taste was ok, but cost is on the higher side. 4 small pieces of chicken lollipop was Rs 200/- i.e. Rs 50/- for each piece. First time I have seen different rates for biryani on weekdays and Sunday. On Sunday the same biryani is approx Rs 40 higher than weekdays. Don't think the pricing and quantity is fair. Not worth another visit

My family loves biriyani and hotel Virudhunagar is known for their biriyanis and the non-vegetarian side dishes. Here are some of my favourite dishes:
Mutton biryani
Mutton chukka
Vanjaram fry
Pepper chicken

Looking for a good restaurant after hours of tireless shopping over at T Nagar ? Suggestions usually would have been Virudhunagar Restaurant. How does it stack up ? Here is Detroit Food Safari look into Hotel Virudhunagar Restaurant. First of all, if you are looking for a restaurant after hours of shopping, then this restaurant might not be suited to you. It is usually pretty crowded during weekends for lunch. And chances are you have to wait for at least 10 minutes before you can find a table there. There is no table reservations, so don’t hope for that.

Been here many times
This hotel is been there for years together
Every time we go for family shopping we used to go here
We have tried Biriyani meals
Chicken fry soups
Everything was good
It’s been a long time now since visited here
Hope they maintain the quality well like before
Will try going again
Definitely a good non veg restaurant

Everytime i go to this place, the food is soo tasty and they maintain the quality of their food pretty constantly.
The all time fav for me here is d Mutton biryani - Succulent pieces which are cooked properly n d meat is also very tender. Good portions are also served for the biryani.
Also their chilli prawns are another level taste wise. It's a must try for seafood lovers. Surely this place is a food haven for seafood lovers in chennai.
Apart from that their butter chicken is really good.
Ambience is also pretty good. The place is pretty packed up in d weekends. But trust me it's worth the wait.
All in all a great restaurant that'll leave your taste buds satisfied, even after the meal is done.
😁
Decent place to have lunch with our family. There are more restaurants in Tnagar but only few places serve good food and this is one such. Biriyani taste was also good including side fishes.
Chennai Techi Foodie
This is my most fav biriyani spot in town, trust me the chicken curry that they provide alongside their biriyani is priceless. A must try for biriyani lovers.

Great Welcome by their staff and very polite service.
Unfortunately I was served a chicken when ordered fish.
Food was good especially Chettinad chicken gravy. Wished I could rate this place higher but management was not apologetic about their mistake which might not take me there in the near future.
Sai Ram
Been to this place last Sunday night with great expectations but turned out to be a disaster. Bought biryani tangdi kebab and falooda. Among the three biryani was the saving grace. Tangdi kebab was average with eating like another chicken leg piece. Falooda looked great from outside but it tasted like fruit salad, very fewer nuts were there. The taste doesn't justify the price quoted in the menu.

Well this place at T nagar has one of its best biriyani. The starters are really good. I loved the spiciness in the biriyani. The ambience was okay. It is a bit pricey place though. A must try place. A variety of chicken currys. Especially the Naattu Kozhi typos.

I love this place and it is a must visit for me every time I’m in Chennai. Chettinad food at its best. Love the crabs here. Crabs deserve a special mention. Also the meals are simple and good. Very pocket friendly. Great location too. The fried king fish is also amazing here. Must visit.

Good morning guys. Yesterday's dinner experience here was bad.
went with an idea of having nice chettinadu food
Looking at menu and the price, felt disappointed.
1. Being knowing virudhunagar since 2003, and been here multiple times,
Their prices have gone very high
2.They don't deliver quantity compared to price also
Wanted to have Chettinadu gravy and biriyani with some tiffen as I was hungry .
Ended with idiyappam, parotta.
3.Worst part here is one of the staff told us, we will give gravy only if you buy Only some starter.
lost my desire to eat and ordered chicken Manchurian.Quantity again less.Left with half stomach and disappointed.
4.Please change your style, else you will lose lot of your customers .

Regular customer for this hotel for past 7+ yrs. Biriyani flavour always remains the same. Must try mutton briyani, naatu kozhi thokku and Biriyani, nandu thokku, prawn...

We were supposed to go to #ThambiVilas but as Kiran was talking something interesting and the we drifted here.

This could be our last dinner together in Chennai and that makes it not so interesting to enjoy the dinner.

It was an average fare, and they should definitely work on their service. Most importantly, avoid plastic plates to serve dishes.

#VirudhunagarHotel #Fish65 #BLChicken65 #PepperChickenFry #MuttonMasala #NattuKozhiKuzhambu #Appam #Idly #Dosa

This place is for people who love the Chettinad cuisine. Ambiance was good and staff were attentive. Meals are the best over here and Biryani is forte of this place. On the overall,it was a good experience.

Sea foods are go good................

The taste of biriyani has been so good
They have a wide range of sea food in live counter and ther service also friendly
Rajesh Dinesh Kumar
Ordered Chicken Biryani priced rs 220, for this cost it's not worth, slightly bitter taste appears on biryani. They should enhance the taste.

The service is extremely poor. People are so rude. No one even bothered give a proper answer when asked about the food while ordering. Made us feel unwelcome. Was actually pretty excited. A huge let down.

Got here at about 10.30pm, ordered Parotta, Nattukkozhi chicken curry and a chicken 65 for non-vegetarians and a butter naan, chilli paneer, virudhunagar special fried rice and gobi manchurian. Everything was fantastic! The vegetarian folks were a bit skeptical about this place given the fact that this place is known for non-veg food, but they were pleasantly surprised. Though everything was good, I would like to recommend the Parottas in this place. The best parottas I’ve had in a while.

We asked for some steamed rice and curd as the finishing touch. The waiter said they normally do not give curd separately, but he got it for us. In return, he was clearly expecting a tip which was very obvious through his actions. I can’t think of a reason why the hotel management is not selling curd separately and the waiter kept insisting that after giving us the curd which was annoying. Otherwise, we had a lovely wholesome dinner.

As we had a shopping plan in T Nagar I was searching for Chettinad Restaurant in that area and Hotel Virudhunagar looked like just the perfect place. And sure as hell it was.

We reached there around 2 PM, by walk, taking some rapid directions from the market area in T Nagar. I like the roofy exteriors of the restaurant. Carries an old age charm. That and the pillars. But the crowd outside gave me a scare, without letting me enjoy the ambience. As it was 2 PM+ I thought getting a seat is gonna get real tough. But luckily after drooling over the live catches, there was a gentleman who saw our huge crowd and gave a private room immediately. Lucky us.

Getting into the room, my first thought was how the service would be, because generally these separate rooms don’t get proper service. But to my astonishment, the service was prompt.

We wanted to have a no nonsense proper lunch. So we went to main course directly. Ordered a Non Veg Meals. Total value for money. And with all Kuzambu’s coming in Mud Pot, it felt great even before tasting. Next up was Prawn Biryani, which tasted very well too, the mix was just right. I never thought the flavour of Prawn would be induced in Biryani but it was, so was totally satisfied. We also ordered a Veg Fried Rice which wasn’t good but as soon as we informed, the waiter promptly removed it and gave us Rice and Rasam not only for our vegetarian member but for the whole family. Rasam was top notch. So everyone loved it. Not sure whether they’d give rice for everyone but we really enjoyed having Rasam rice after biryani. Last but not the least, Nethili Fry, our regular at any chettinad restaurant was too good. The best I’ve ever had. So in all an extremely satisfying experience.

Quick Review: A good place to have the traditional Tamil cuisine.

Detailed Review:

Location: It is located in T Nagar on GN Chetty Road and is very easy to locate as it is on the main road itself. Parking will be easy for two wheeler and I believe they have valet parking for four wheeler.

Ambience: Nothing much here to write about as the place is decent and they have AC dining and a top floor dining area too.

Service: The service is very quick and the food items dont take very long to land up on your table right from Biriyani to meals.

Food & Drinks: We were a group of 5 from office and we ordered some biriyanis and couple of us ordered non veg meals along with Prawn 65 and pepper chicken for starters. All the items were good, though the non veg thali could have been better if they had added some more dishes to it. The nonveg thali comprises of a mutton curry chicken curry and fish gravy and the rest of the items are from the usual veg thali. Most of the items were very good and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Location: 5/5

Ambience: 3/5

Service: 4/5

Food & Drinks: 4.5/5

Overall: 4/5

The moment you enter the place you could feel some discomfort , and the discomfort is due to the service that they provide. Most of the people who work there looks like some thugs who were not paid any salary for long time. Shambolic environment.

Coming to food , it was not that great, the only item that was satisfying out of all the items that we bought was mutton chukka.
Food varieties like Kothu parrotta, gravy (Chicken and mutton) , fried rice, appam, were not upto the mark of any good restaurants. You could get the same quality for the items in any roadside fast food shops(Thallu vandi ).
One more good thing about their restaurants is that they serve food in banana leaf, but what's the use when the food and place is really bad.

Always a favourite for me when it comes to non-veg food. Had their Virudhunagar special fried rice & fish fingers multiple times. Taste & quality have been consistent! Food is served quickly. The restaurant is almost always crowded for lunch & dinner.
Virudhunagar special fried rice-9.5/10— mushrooms, chicken & egg along with vegetables cooked perfectly & a flavoursome dish. Can have it as it is or along with the gravy they provide. (₹190)
Fish fingers—9/10— another favourite dish, scrumptious crunchy & fresh fish served with mayonaisse leaves you wanting more. (₹230)
That also have a variety of other dishes for you to choose from.
Value for money-8/10
Ambience-7/10
Service-9/10
Absolutely recommend for non-veg lovers!

Crowded .. Pathetic staffs.
Virudhunagar is one of the long standing hotels in Chennai. But now it has lost it's charm. Ambiance wise place has become shabby and needs renovation. Seating is little cramped.
Went here with family for Sunday lunch and the place was already overflowing. Good I went at the right time and got the table.

Coming to food. There was only meals biryani fried rice and roti available for lunch. No other items like soup parotta or chapathi in the menu was available.
The order for starters for chicken lolly pop and fish fingers. It was two different dishes but it was served in a single plate. I haven't seen anywhere like two different dishes comes in a single plate. U get 4 little chicken pieces for 200 and definitely not worth it. Fish fingers was okay. 5 pieces for 250. Too costly.

Price of mutton biryani was 275 and chicken biryani was 253. Prices are sky rocket high and definitely not worth it. Taste was average. Single roti costs 66. Staffs never listen and you can always see couple of staffs shouting. They just couldn't manage the crowd. The only good thing. Was their rasam .

Prices are too high and with the attitude of staff treating you like you are eating their food for free is definitely a no go here.

The food was good....I would recommend people for that....but the service is not....they treat different people differently...not paying attention to what people ask....just hurrying up...and we ordered naatukozhi briyani...there was only rice and some bones...no flesh...

Food was great...but the service was poor...they pay attention to people with status which is disgusting..it was really disappointing experience

Excellent place. Mutton biryani is ultimate taste no hotel Can come near that taste of it. Very good service. They behave like family people. I visit every Sunday.

We had our lunch today. The meals was good, good in quantity and tasty.fish kulambu which was served in meals was very tasty. The service was really good.

We ordered nethily fish and viral fish fry also. Nethily was very good ,tasty and good portions. But viral fry was not good, so small pieces and no value for money.

Overall it is good.

Had lunch after a long time at virudhunagar which really good . Had south India meal which was unlimited and the taste was also very good . Nothing too exciting about it .

Great place for a family or friends reunion, for Chettinad lovers. The worth in this hotel is the #crab lollipop , #mutton chukka. But at late night Biriyani won't be tastes that good.

Loved this place, the food is amazing, portions huge, quality great, service is warm, ambiance is nice and completely vfm. We tried the chicken chettinad gravy, appams and butter naan.. it was mindblowing and then they got us the special chettinad gravy to taste. Trust me this was the best. Full of flavour and so good - i am definitely ordering this next time again. The chicken dum biryani was the best till date in chennai. The gravy that accompanied it took the game notches higher. The chicken pieces were huge and the biryani was served with egg and dagi kanda or raita. Loved it. This was the first time we had food on a banana leaf. They feed you so lovingly. No wonder this is a legendary place in chennai. I am a fan of Virudgunagar cuisine .. and this place tooooo. Must visit. The sea food is excellent i hear.. next time for sure ..

Been an all time favourite place for almost a decade now... This place has never disappointed me.. The Best is their Biryani.. Succulent meat n flavourful rice... Dont miss their Netthili Fry.. chittnadu chicken and nattu kozhi biryani. avoid going there on Sundays as it's jam packed with shoppers who don't mind waiting long to eat there.. Be Friendly with the waiters and they would treat you extra special with some gravies on the house... the best part is they would remember you the next time you visit...

Been to this place only once. Food was average but I felt it is little expensive. One best part here is you can choose fresh fish and get it cooked.

Absolutely amazing food , freshly made and homely ambiance
Biryani is a must have at this place mutton was like butter , Prawn 65 was simply delicious
If you are reading this, you’re probably here to check the place and it’s offerings before dining. Have relished previous dinner outings here with Family and Friends but over the years this place has gone from a must-visit to a definite NO.

Review from my visit around Apr 2018

Meat was undercooked and stale - we’d ordered Dragon Chicken, Fish Fingers and Chicken Lollipop.

Plates and spoons had traces of previously served food which when I brought it to the notice of the service staff was quickly managed by wiping the plate thoroughly with their hand right in front of us and returning it to the table. Upholstery and the floor were strewn with food that was not cleaned.

Never have I seen more pathetic service.. starters came after the main dish and to top it all one of the main courses (Kadai biryani) came promptly packed for take Home - after we had finished dinner. This place is hopeless but you are free to try your luck. 👎
Dhanush Kodi
Very poor hospitality....staff not very friendly with customers...went there yesterday and was waiting for 6 of my family members to join me..but the staff didn't allow me to wait even for 5 minutes and frequently enquired about their arrival and finally I got out before they came without eating...
Located in the primary place not a bad option for quick plans. Nice one for South Indian dishes. The taste is not on great side but also on other side. It is just right. Can go for it. Bit on the costlier side though.

We wanted to have Idiyappam, Idli and Chicken/ Mutton Stuffed Parotha; but all these items they served in the evening only. So ordered mutton birayani. Biryani was good and their customer service is awesome. Ambiance is okay.
Krish Mohan
Their mutton biriyani is like a typical Muslim marriage biriyani..tastes wonderful..biriyani lovers should give a try..All other orederd dishes were satisfactory..looking forward to explore more varieties in coming days..
Mohamed
Their Mutton Biriyani is Good. Any Biryani lover can give a try. Try Pepper Chicken Fry.
They usually give Idiyappam with Paaya, if you order any side dish. If you don't, they will say "You won't get Paya and there is no accompaniments for idiyappam" in a rude manner (I have faced this when I ordered Idiyappam for Takeaway long back).

Today I had my lunch in hotel virudhunagar chettinadu restaurant & it's a nice place especially for kids & family. It has a good ambience & soothing music playing in the background & parking facilities is not bad.If one wants to try traditional chettinadu styles then I would say it's the place. Hotel has a #pick & cook option for seafoods🦀🐟🦐🦑🦈 which is a good thought.Coming to cost it's reasonable for which it deserves. Overall it's good place for family & kids.

I fell in love with their non veg meals... They serve the best curry.. Both chicken and mutton curry with rice were good.. Rasam was epic... I was pleased when the sandbar was also ultimate..
Tried their mutton liver fry and that was really good..
The Biriyani had a good flavor.. Except for the slightest smell in the lamb meat.. Could feel the smell in the meat...
Their service was good once.. And bad the next time.. So can't really comment on it..
The high was serving the curry in mud pits..
Way to go guys..
Highly recommended if you would like to have a typical spicy Non veg food. Non
veg meals is a must try.

Order for door delivery- They provide quantity sufficient for 2-3 people’s meal.

After a huge shopping with no idea we entered this restaurant to have something quickly. The restaurant was jammed. But somehow we managed to get our seats in next 5 minutes. It was frigid all over.
Our orders:
Egg fried rice, mutton biryani, nattu kozhi biryani, non veg meals, tandoori (half), viral fish fry and some flavoured ice creams.
Mutton biryani and nattu kozhi biryani was finger licking dishes.
Except these two, every other dishes were usual, including the starters.
I wont recommend trying non veg meals in this place. Eighter of the Biryani variety mentioned above is recommended.
Servers: we have to keep on calling and insisting them to make the orders quick.
Food:3.5/5
Servers:3/5
Ambiance:3.5/5
Vfm-3.5/5
I had to write this review for two reasons. This place has amazing mutton biryani but the service here is just terrible (at least on the phone). I have been ordering the mutton biryani from here through swiggy for a while. Last Sunday I was informed that only special mutton biriyani was available. I order it and found out that it's the same biriyani with only bread halwa coming with it. This Sunday I again ordered biriyani (showed as available) through swiggy. I got a call from the delivery executive saying that the mutton biryani I ordered wasn't available and that only special mutton biryani was available. I asked to speak to the restaurant and I told them that I did not want the bread halwa and asked why it was being forced onto us, the person at virudhanagar gave the phone back to the swiggy executive and refused to give an answer. The food might be good but forcing people to buy things they don't want is not good service. And the attitude of the person answering the phone is so terrible that I'll not be ordering food form this place again.

Worst experience ever, very poor service. Taste of dishes doesnt do justice to the prices, average at best nothing special. Would avoid this restaurant.
Bhagya Nair
Absolutely horrendous food experience.Ordered chicken biryani, two plates pomfret fry and one set kal dosai.
Since the chicken in the biryani was over the chef decided to conveniently add chicken curry pieces and serve! When we asked the waiters they quicy cancelled the order. The pomfret pieces were old and had been deep deep fried in stale oil. The waiters though were very courteous.
The place has really lost its quality.

Review based on 2 times visit to the restaurant.. first time went on a Sunday fr lunch .. heavily crowded but managed to get a seat in ten mins .. ordered prawn briyani , vanjaram fry, mutton briyani .. briyani came with bread halwa as accompaniment .. all the items where awesome in taste ... next time went for dinner .. ordered chicken briyani , chicken chettinad masala , egg dosa , pomfret fry , parotta.. everything was well made ..pomfret tasted nice but price was a bit higher given the size they provided .. service is not that good .. if u can tolerate the service , this can be a good restaurant to visit fr some tasty briyani and sea food delicacies
PS : prawn 🍤 briyani is a must try here ..

Lacked cleanliness. The non veg thali was priced at Rs 180 plus taxes but it was not worth it at all. The thali did not contain any papad or salad. It did not have any pieces of meat too. Even the curry did not contain any meat pieces.
Suyog Pathare
One of the finest restaurant in Chennai. They serve the best mutton biryani and prawns masala. Chicken chettinad is also a must have dish here. Chicken chettinad and appam are a great combo however it’s available only during dinner times.

This hotel welcomes us with it's signature welcoming guy with a royal attire, the hotel offers space for both regular dining and posh dining the food is good especially those authentic South Indian dishes, good atmosphere tasty dishes but the price was a little high for a middle class family, other than that the restaurant is good.👍👍

It was a couple of days ago I visited this restaurant which is recommended by my buddy. the washroom not cleaned at all even it was after informing to the staff.I ordered a mutton briyani it was served with chicken curry and onion raitha. The briyani was good . service is also good.

I just happened to order a take away in the evening of a Thursday. I ordered one Mutton Briyani and chicken 65. In another 45 minutes I reached home and I started to eat. The Briyani was horribly bad. And the chicken 65 was tasteless. I threw both items to the garbage and fulfilled my hunger with fruits.

Selling bad food at exorbitant prices is a sin. Never again to this place.

This got a rating of 1 from me, from because I can't give any lower.

Overall I had a bad experience, mainly because the restaurant is not clean enough. The food was about average with the chicken gravy that came along with the plain dosa being the tastiest item I had there. In mains, we also ordered chettinad chicken masala along with parotta. The first parotta was very nice and flaky but the second one was not that good. Chicken was decent but the taste of curry hadn't seeped in the chicken. In veg options were limited. The veg fried rice along with gobhi Manchurian was palatable but nothing to rave about.

This place is too much hyped. This place need to be shutdown. The overall hygiene maintained is pathetic and poor.

The place where were seated had 3-4 cockroaches on walls and floor, when we complained to the staff they smiled and left and we ate with those cockroaches everywhere.

The briyani was ok, The fish for which they charged were too small and very less quantity. You need to ask the for copy of the bill multiple times after being paid.

Overall advice to management : Be fair for the money you charge and spend money on pesticide killer. I will never recommend this place for anyone.

For a long time,i wanted to visit this place, cuz one of my friends suggested this place. And with no doubts,we had our lunch here.

Ambience:This place is soo crowdy :( during the weekends and this shows how good the restaurant is.I could see families everywhere and the place is neat and well maintained, yet busy. They let us select our choice of fish and cook.Thats the speciality here😍

Food:
Coming to the food thats awesome.A decent menu,a decent food, courteous staff, the important thing is the ordered things are on the table within 5 mins❤️

Chicken dum briyani: A normal and nice one.But the quantity could be increased. But for the rate its worth.

Viruthunagar special fried rice:This was nice❤️😍Perfect and i would prefer someone to order this❤️❤️

Volcano chicken:😍😍😍such a wonderful dish it is.Nothing diffrent like a manchurian but served with curd mixed with it.yaai they were sweet and lil spicy😍 A perfect blend❤️

Chilli chicken: A normal one.They were good😊

That's it, but am surprised that our tummy got filled just for this. But nm,will be back again to this restaurant to try everything in their menu. And it costed ₹ 840.
*Must visit wid your family to spend some quality time😍❤️*

Total waste of money ,ordered kadai 65 I think it was old stock and no taste, naatu kozhi masala which was rubbery ,chicken fried rice bland with no salt and rubbery chicken pieces, only thing palatable was parotta and curry they give.out of all this they charged Rs 30 for water bottle instead of 20 .total damage Rs 720

Visited this place for lunch after a purchase in t.nagar, parking is no problem they have a space and they managing with roadside also .. dinning space is huge and interior looks neat. Coming to the food non veg meals for 120 with mutton, chicken and fish kolambu is vfm . Biriyani is usual usual chettinadu style biriyani . Chicken lollypop is good and cooked well. Chettinadu chicken comes with 3 medium pieces and spicy level is not much ,but quantity can be bit high. One of the good place for non veg lovers after shopping .. Didn't try fish as I am.not a big fan of sea foods ..
