Madras square located in a silent and calm place has ample seating which can easily manage a good crowd on a weekend. The service was good and the food tasted nice. For getting the final bill it took us some time but we had a great experience and will definitely check them out again with a big group. This is a place where you can bring family or friends or a perfect date night with your partner and spend quality time. The place has indoor and outdoor seating and can occupy based on the availability. What we had? 1. Korean Stir fry beef(must try) 2. Hunan prawn 3. Lamb lasagna 4. Gimlet The food was our best part as we did enjoy our meal and they had a good variety of cocktails so do check them out.

I often visit here for our family lunch. First of all, I love the design of every part of this restaurant. It is really modern and calming. Waiters are kind and gentle, and air is really cool inside. Personally, I think this restaurant is making the best Italian food in Chennai. The quality of pizza, pasta, and steaks are way more better than other Italian restaurant. And also desserts, chocolate cakes and ice creams tastes awesome. I really like this place, and I can say this is the best restaurant that you can recommend to other Chennai visitors.

My favourite place to sit and relax with great food especially when I go there solo. Everything there is amazing - pizzas, finger food and desserts. Worth every penny you pay. If you’d like to spend some quality time with family and friends, must visit.

One of the most prominent restaurants in ECR, which is famous for its Italian dishes. Enjoyed the strawberry juice very much and the lasagna was absolutely spot on. Was disappointed with the coconut flavoured soup. The ambiance and service was good. Will surely come again.

The New Year day could not get any better if its not for a brunch from beautiful place. Having skipped the breakfast nd hungry for a brunch before kickstarting the ride in ECR, this place turned out the best of all restos in this road. Located in Neelangarai this place is a nice chill out with neat ambience nd plants on all sides. The shades were good that we feel chillness around the place. The menu is good and no complaints about the taste. Cheese fries and triple layer chocolate mousse is a must try. The price is affordable nd the service is good. Awesome place, the ambience and decor are great. The service was fast. Food was super tasty. Loved their watermelon salad. Was so fresh. East coast at Madras Square A quaint little place on the ecr, It's a well maintained with beautifully set interiors. The decor and interiors are well entwined with the theme of the place. The food and service was also very good, we had a couple of ice teas, a summer cooler and a coke float - the drinks were light and refreshing, only qualm a brewed ice tea would've been better but nothing to complain about. For starters- we had Panko chicken, deviled sausages, tempura prawns - all of it was really good especially the wasabi Mayo with the tempura prawns. For Mains we had a couple of pizzas, perfect thin crust and tasty. A couple of pastas - aglio elio and carbonara extremely tasty loved the bacon in the carbonara. For dessert- a baked cheesecake and a theobroma, cheesecake was really good but the theobroma was a massive let down based on the fact that I've had it a lot. Overall a wonderful place a must visit nd super repeat visit.

Great place simply done, great waiters totally untrained, no language skills. Oven was not working hence half the menu was not available. No desert menu, The starters and pasta was fantastic. Enthusiastic work force, will go back

Lovely experience. Been there for the first time. Enjoyed the food and the ambiance. There was huge delay in serving the food to the table and I guess for the same reason they have a complimentary fries. But I would prefer quick serving and that too when kids are around. I have been here twice within a month, should say more than any more words...right ;). The staff is polite and friendly, little slow (bearable though). Its a cute and lovely, little, cozy place in ECR in a residential place...brought alive with the lights and general decor, absolutely gorgeous ambience. Got seating both inside and out. Went with zomato gold. Ordered a liit and a jewel. Both were OK only. Didn't had great flavors. But the indoors are too smelly and not having a good feeling while dining.

Overcrowded at weekends you will not get place go in. You have to book in week days to go on weekend so if anybody want to go he should book well in advance.We have not been allowed to go as our booking by mistake made for Saturday. We have to return back home you will not get any entry without prior booking in other places also

It was a day where we decided to spend a Birthday of someone special. Having made a nice conversation with the owner on our previous memorable visits here, it was made more memorable when there was a Surprise cake on the house. Coming to drinks we took cosmopolitan, LIIT, draught beer and mojitos all with zomato gold policy which didn't put a great burden of bill. One of my very favorite restaurants. I've been going to this restaurant for over 3 years now. A lot has changed so far. Very beautiful ambience. This is the place you can go for any occasion. I went on a romantic date, I went with my parents for their anniversary, I went for my birthday with a bunch of my friends. So you get it right? It is good for everything. With respect to food, a little bit on the higher end but they taste really well. Their Indian food is worth trying. They also serve drinks which is very convenient and moderately priced. Please do visit if you're on ECR!

they didn’t honour zomato gold on imported beers though such restrictions were not mentioned in membership details. They even lied to customer care that they ran out of stock for imported beers. Also one person was trying to convince how alcohol is been regulated in chennai. THEY ARE LIARS and have poor service when it started to become crowded. I won’t recommend anyone to visit this place .. risk your evening if you really wanted to come here.

This was our maiden visit to this place... This place is located in a residential area so while navigating to this place many times you get confused of how can a full fledged restaurant be in this quiet neighbourhood. Thankfully management had the directions covered as they had pinned cutouts with direction leading to the place. Coming down to parking topic , when we reached there we found that there was no good parking for our Bullet... Being heaviest of them all we were not able to park it on the makeshift parking accommodation for two wheeler. We had to request a hell lot to the guard to let us park on concrete surface as our Bullet was not staying steady on the sand in their two wheeler parking.<br/> <br/>[Advice to management : People having two wheeler are also visiting your place to spend so you should make arrangement for proper parking irrespective of number of wheels they bring along]<br/><br/>Then when it came to allotting table* for just 2 people they made us wait for 15-20 mins also asked us to sit in another building which was very silent as no one was there.(That would have been good for a couple looking for some private/quite time but not us) . <br/><br/>After telling them that we’ll leave if not given table they gave us one... (if it was always there then what’s the point in making your customers wait ???) <br/><br/>And this place even denied us serving wine (glass) under 2+2...which asper zomato gold cannot be denied ( got confirmation from zomato representative itself that the hotel cannot deny any drink from menu in 2+2 except pitchers, buckets, towers, full bottles, aerated drinks or drinks sold on MRP)<br/><br/>Observation : During the 3 hours duration which we spent there not much incoming crowd was seen.So the buildup which they gave for table was a waste... <br/>Lastly coming down to food and drinks we loved it a lot and had our share of good time even after so many glitches... <br/><br/>Advice to management : Please don’t try to micromanage<br/>* : booking for table was already done through app on the very same morning

Landed here looking for good food. The Restobar did not disappoint!<br/>Started with Soup of the day - Chicken Pesto. We liked it so much, ended up ordering it twice.<br/>Starters. <br/>1. Creole Spiced Fries: Well made herbs taste. And the accompanying mint mayo was yummm!<br/>2. Herb Garlic Prawns: Always inclined towards some good Prawns - this did not disappoint! Perfect cooking and nice spices again.<br/>Entrees.<br/>1. Lamb Bolognese: Well made diced lamb and just correct amount of spicing.<br/>2. Caprese Stuffed Chicken: This is the only which was disappointing. The chicken was a little too well done and hence had become mildly chewy. Also was expecting a stuffed chicken breast - instead this was diced chicken breast, and hence the stuffing had come loose.<br/>Drinks:<br/>1. Cocktail - Tequila Sunrise: Had ordered two of these. Very well done. Just that the second one had a little less tequila!😁<br/>2. Mocktail - Moroccan Squash: Very well flavoured drink.<br/>All in all a good gastronomic experience. Just that one entree reduced the experience.<br/><br/>On a lighter note: We were finding it a little confusing to find the restaurant initially, hence ended up calling the restaurant to get some guidance. The person on the other ended up saying look to turn left from Hot Chips - and, that it is the best landmark to get going in the right direction! We tried telling him that we are coming from Shollinganallur and hence where is Hot Chips there. The guy from the restaurant kept on sticking to Hot Chips landmark. Finally, we resorted to Zomato and Google Maps back again for directions. Think people have to expand there version of Chennai, where there multiple Hot Chips and people could be coming from East or South of Chennai and not just North! 😁

This place is a really good one with a great ambience.Tje staff is very polite and food is okay. If you are looking for a decent place to spend your evenings, this is the one. We had ordered stuffed mushrooms and Quadro formaggi pizza. The mushrooms were delicious and the flavor was decent.The pizza however had no toppings and just cheese. That could be improved . It was a match day (this time, IPL) and we picked East Coast, located in Neelangarai. If there’s one thing you guys need to read about this – it is this – this is one of the best places out there! I had bookmarked this place for a really long time but yesterday when i visited i was very happy. The place looks very beautiful you can sit outdoor with trees and good breeze or inside . Not even replace.<br/><br/>Beef steak - worst cooked steak ever. Ordered a medium rare steak but it was very unevenly cooked. Bits were over cooked and some parts were very raw. I sent it back but it still came back raw. I can cook a better steak than this sad excuse.<br/><br/>The LIT pitcher was so small, rip off for the price.<br/><br/>They only gave us one redbull for two jagerbombs.<br/>These guys are a scam<br/><br/>Will never be coming back. Will never recommend this place to anyone.

Ambience is too good. Food was good. if you are thinking of celebrating bday,then this is not the right place.They don't provide cakes here. all they provide is pastries which are off high cost.

The place is perfect if u want a chilled hangout place. The pricing is a bit overhyped but after having my beer i felt i can happily pay that much. The draught beer is a must try for beer lovers. Kebabs were well cooked and tender. Pizzas were made with care and the toppings were delicious. We ordered one Mac and cheese and it was lovely. The ambience is perfect here. If u want serenity sit outside. If u want some music i would suggest u sit inside. Staffs are very polite and professional. 10/10 loved it ❤️

Went there with few friends and what a lively and lovely place! The best thing is their food and it tastes amazingly delicious. I think I will give 5 star for everything - ambiance, service, staff, drinks, food etc. 😁

I just fell in love with this place. The ambience was soo good as well as the food. I should really appreciate the service. On the whole it was impeccable place to chill with your friends after a busy week. Hope u will love the place too.

After waiting for an hour, they realized that they forgot to place my order and upon asking they casually say oh they can place the order now. WORST SERVICE.

The waiters were not that friendly and made us sit in a separate place because we were zomato gold who would use one plus one free offer... They treated the customers who we're not zomato gold differently and made them sit in better place

Was impressed as soon as I entered the place with such cozy ambience. The staff were polite. The service was good and the food was delicious. The place is top notch and they take utmost care of hygiene. You have to go there to know what it means.

Made full use of our Zomato gold privilege. BBQ chicken wings, chicken tikka, pepperoni pizza, litchi mocktail, vodka shots and long Island ice tea to wash it all down. This place has a rustic ambience which I really liked. The service was top notch. Really liked the waiters there for their passion in serving. Great place to hang out.

Went to catch up with a long lost friend and we were glad that we chose this spot. The ambience is too good and makes you neglect anything else, they didn’t do much wrong. <br/><br/>Service - Welcoming if not too prompt. <br/>Food - Good enough but could be tastier. The tandoori chicken flavour didn’t spread, it was only on the surface. <br/>Drinks - Cocktails were perfect And the beer was at the best temperature. <br/><br/>Made we want to go back again. A great place to chill and relax yourself after day's work.<br/>I just loved this place good ambience it was well set up with outdoor and indoor seating I chose to sit outdoor with my friends. Ordered a few drinks and starters we went with the crispy chill lamb. I cannot commemt on the drink but the food was simply superb it was crispy and well cooked everyone liked it. We ordered Creole fries and Chicken tikka and 2 cocktails. The cocktails were good but the food was average. We went there in the evening only for snacks and not for dinner. So not sure about the main course. Ambience was good.

Fantastic place for a date! The food was amazing and the price was not bad for the quality they assure. Must visit if you are craving for some cheesy mild courses! Although they have an age restriction with an on spot membership registration to keep minors from their bar counter as per policies which is not bad. If you dont mind the drive you should definitely visit this place.

Located away from the streets in the interiors. A very calm and quite place. Has a very decent crowd with an amazing ambience.<br/><br/>We went as three people. So the tariff came upto 2400 something which was pretty neat.<br/><br/>We ordered two cocktails that was cosmopolitan and tequila sunrise which was decent enough.<br/><br/>Second for the starters we ordered cheesy chicken tikka, which was just the classic chicken tikka with cheese on it, served with onions and green chutney.<br/><br/>For main course we order pizza with extra chicken toppings. The crust was really good though.<br/><br/>We also ordered spicy chicken sausage which went really well with the cocktails.<br/><br/>Finally dessert was the best part with a three layer chocolate mousse cake and a salted caramel chocolate cake which was so creamy and rich.<br/><br/>The staffs were very friendly and gave us a lot of suggestions for whatever we wanted to order.<br/><br/>Overall had a wonderful time at East coast at Madras square. Lovely ambience, perfect for dinner or evening. I had fish skewers which were crispy and yummy and went perfectly well with the Mayo. Also had a main course dish of chicken (forgot the name). Great place

One of the best resto bars in Chennai, service - 5/5 <br/>Food - 5/5, ambience 5/5, bbq chicken wings is a must try, lamb pizza and crispy chicken were also great. And special mention to the bartender Mr.Edward, he is the best. Totally worth it. This place is not very expensive too, will def suggest east coast-the resto bar to everyone.

Personal favorite and one I highly recommend is chilly cheese chicken tikka. A unique mix of tandoori and cheese. One of the best I've had.<br/>The tangy achari prawns and panko parmesan chicken strips were yum too. Ajwain fish tikka though was pretty mediocre. In veg we had, nachos and Pizza napolitana and they weren't decent.<br/>We ended the day with a soul-satisfying dessert, Triple chocolate mousse cake. Do give it a shot and thank me later!!<br/><br/>Ambience:<br/>The place is located in a calm locality, away from the city hustle. The place is divided into various compartments.
