Review Hoppipola - Chennai (Madras)

Not a high class pub ambience and experience. Suitable for ladies. Drinks were priced moderately but cocktais were over priced. Had "sex on the roof" for Rs 425 nothing more than orange juice and very less alcohol priced. Food was average tasting and portion was less. 1. Has chilly baby corn 2 . Cottage cheese sizzlers. Overall nothing to complaint about had good experience with staff and restaurant. Note: You can combine Zomato gold and nearby offer and its valid. Valet for car parking and bike parking space available

Hoppipola is THE place to go for a good hang out session with your friends. The happy hours will not empty your pockets and the drinks and food variety is absolutely amazing. You get this totally chill vibe once you enter and it’s sure to leave you awestruck. I would definitely recommend catching up with your friends here.

Worth for the money. the food was great and didn't expect such a good food in a bar. The DJ was on point and made everyone to move with the music. The ambience was okayish and the staffs were courteous. Over all a great experience and nice a place to hangout during weekends

Great place to hang out with friends , they have lot of games you can play they also have mega jenga that's awesome right. Good and cocktales are good but little pricy. Ask for their combo offers which is value for money. Overall this is a pretty decent place to chill with your buds the games make it even more interesting.

A good place to hangout in Chennai. We didn't wear shoes when we visited, but the bouncer had the courtesy to let us in. The music and ambience is decent. We ordered some chicken and baby corn which was delicious. The 99₹ menu is amazing. It has a good amount of variety. They say it's 99₹ menu but there will be +29, +69 in many items plus service tax. Overall a very good experience and the price is also reasonable.

One of the few pubs in the city that allows stag entry .A mid- range bar to have fun . Hot spicy chicken dishes are good . The DJ has some good music that can make you tap your feet all time :)

An excellent place. Very lively at weekends. The bar tenders weren’t the most polite people as as usual. The music was good and it had the perfect setting for a party. The price is nominal. If you look close enough through the not well lit place, you can see that it hasn’t been very well maintained in respect to cleanliness. I liked the place for its uniform theme and the good amount if crowd it attracted. Further, it is one among the zomato gold bars, so you can get 2 drinks free if you buy 2 if you have zomato gold. It is a good offer overall, if you buy 3 zomato gold coupons for around 350, you can use it three times in these zomato gold bars but only one per day. The place is not very grand or romantic. It is ideal to hangout with friends or groups. Not to forget the board games and the huge Jenga they had, that had to be given credit for. The place had both gender crowds, women can comfortably go here without undergoing any uncomfortable situation. They had disco lights, which was a added point to the ambience. The music was a bit too loud, it was made sure there was no conversations happening in the place!

Hoppipola was striked of my bucket list last week.PARKING!!! We waited for 40mins just so that they would provide valet!..but poor response ...we roamed around and finally parked the car far away!..<br/>The place was quite empty..and for starters we ordered the ankuri bruchetta and fish fingers..the fish fingers were top notch😍 the bruchetta though disappointed me,😒...it's a little sweet ...later we ordered the Thai spiced fish! If your looking for spice ..order something else...quite bland..the bar menu was exciting though..the service was ok!..

I visited this solo. I thought ok may be the alcohol price is less so let’s visit. But actually there is no taste in the food! I ordered chicken sausage pizza. The pizza had 2 inches of cheese! It was really embarrassing to eat. And absolutely no taste in the chicken sausages!!

Good ambience, good service and good food and beverages. It is not the place for chit chat. If you wanna go have drinks and come back it is ok. But if you want to talk,to dance and party I would say a big no. It is a bar with music. The music sound felt noisy and annoying which prevented us to talk to each other even within the table. Placing order too was made difficult due to noisy music. I tried Bloody Mary and Mojito. I liked it. We had Thai spiced grilled fish which was excellent, hoppi fried chicken which tasted like that of KFC fry, chiselled prawns which I loved and triple schezwan bowl with chicken. It costed altogether around Rs1800 per person to us. We really enjoyed the place. The place resembles that of Oly pub in Kolkata but with music. Anyways it has it's own charm and we loved it and liked it. I give four star rating

The quintessential Hoppipola which can get you hopping in your head, feet and hands with its offerings on the food & drinks menu apart from the jenga games & music too. The waiters here are very friendly & courteous. Drinks are better here than the food offerings. Place is a bit cozy so good luck if willing to sit and greater luck to stags.

And the behaviour of the employee are good also. You can visit there with your friends and enjoy some good times there. The place is very easy to find. You can visit there via cab or auto also. Their liquor stokes ar very good. And you can find Varieties of liquor with cheaper price at the time of happy hour..

The best happening place within the heart of the city. Situated in the kodambakkam high road. The place is greatly architectured, perfectly underlining the name/theme, "hoppipola" are perfectly maintained. Dishes and DJ's are both great. Staffs are sufficient and service is prompt. A click on the iron throne is a must. Stag entry is allow hear.making it a great choice for fun.<br/><br/>

Their grilled stuffed chicken with mash and jus is really well done, worth ordering every so often on Zomato. Earlier, twice my order arrived without a carry bag. This time I made sure that Zomato gave instructions. Let's hope when we order again the dish arrives well packed once more!!

Staff is super unfriendly. It’s a place with alcohol. Obviously some one or the other will end up puking. And we’re paying a heck lot for that too. And they make you clean the puke or pay 300 for cleaning. I’ll never be going there again in my life. Are we paying so much service charges for nothing?

Cool place, cool people 😀 had lots of fun hanging out. Music can still be better but everything else is value for money. Besides, it is more crowded after 11 but if that is your jam, then it is what it is!! Especially as a zomato gold gilder, everything was value.

This is a place which I like to go once in a while to just chill. It's that topical joint where people can hang out for a drink post work hours. The ambience if good. You have a happy hours in the early hours of evening. The starters are also good. Great service by the bar man Mr prasanth he was very friendly person.. You must try this one !! 🍻

Pros- Very tasty food. Loved the maggi missles and sauteed mushrooms. The drinks are also on the cheaper side. All items are very reasonably priced.<br/>Cons- Amebience is a bit shady, and bare. The waiters are kind of clueless. I ordered a Ceasar salad and was told after more than 30 mins that it was not available. Service and decor need to improve a lot. The crowd is mostly college kids and early 20s.

It was my first time I have been #Hoppipola <br/>I’ll give 5 star rating for this place especially for the staffs <br/>They were so friendly except one person <br/>In front the bar there was a one guy called #bouncer such a third class behaviour <br/>Please change that guy because whoever is coming to your bar to drink only right then why the hell he behaving to the customers like this way. Staffs are the most rudest person I have ever met.they don’t care about your experience and on top of that they add extra dishes in the bill if you drink a little extra.
