Review Starbucks Coffee - Chennai (Madras)

Nitin Sreedharan
Comfortable and Cozy hangout spot for coffee, pastries and sandwiches. I had tried caramel shake, chocolate and coffee shakes with vanilla ice cream and paneer sandwich. The best of all was the choco truffle pastry.

They have one of the best coffees in town!!! They’re really good for food and beverages. Hospitality is really great. They don’t pressurise you. And help you with your order. They’ve introduced the new order as you go. Where you order on the app and just up while you pass by the store if you’re in a hurry. They’ve got a nice lounge and sitting area along with car parking outside if you just wanna chill and hang for some time.

Was kind of embarrassing today. In the after noon at 1pm in the middle of a coffee was asked by staff to vacate as they had reserved the coffee shop for a corporate. It was embarrassing as I was with clients. Had to hurry and move to another resteraunt. Never experienced this ever before. Corporates over regular locals...Embarrassing

A very cozy place in a subtle neighborhood. The place has ground and mezzanine floor. The baristas were very warm and welcoming. A typical Sbucks' place. They have good parking space too.

The best star bucks of 5 I have been in chennai, namely T Nagar, Velachery phoenix (2), Anna Nagar and Alwarpet. The ambience, service and quality is great. It’s much more quieter, less people. They do have upstairs seating, which is more cool and chilled out. I could feel the I’m in Europe with this. Cheers guys 🙌

I went on an offer day and also Sunday and it was jam packed! But the staff were good and informed us that there were no seats.

I had arrived one morning with my friends, and in less than a fraction of a second, my eyes had never been captured by such a strong, captivating, bold and such an unforgettable piece of infrastructure. My friends and I were truly taken away by it. We were just in the parking lot but we felt like better people already. We walked in and it was a breath of fresh air with a pleasing and relaxing air freshener yet fresh and wild from the smell of raw coffee beans. The coffee was absolutely mind blowing and soul cleansing. We left that shop nay, that heavenly place as men we could only dream of to be. I thank the wonderful staff and we sigma males shall return soon.

It’s totally amazing place for chilling with your friends. Everything is amazing over here & very much hygienic. I had caramel java chip cold coffe it was tooooooo good

It's located in a prime spot with heavy traffic but parking is always s challenge and you may need to park anywhere on the adjacent road. Was surprised to see they are now serving filter coffee and this place was crowded and cramped to our taste.
Binin Kallumkal Sukumaran
My first tryst with Starbucks happened here. Absolutely loved the space. Spent hours at the top floor, and thanks for not giving that "haven't you left" look..!!!
Shiva Shankar
It’s a beautiful place with ample parking space and has a ground and a top floor with very friendly staff. The ambience is excellent and there’s nothing you would not appreciate about the place placed in a very convenient joint connecting major intersections.

Probably my most visited place in Chennai. Always meet here before going anywhere else 😂 The tasting sessions are so good!
Aparanjini Ramkumar
I liked the place. Starbucks is a name brand and it can be tough to maintain the brand image. I felt that they have managed to keep the ambience. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for the same Stackbucks experience across the world
Poornesh Viswanathan
Ok! I was a subscriber to Starbucks because I had won in a competition conducted by my workplace! Did the surprise stopped there. My Starbucks card was recharged with 400 bucks. And then coincidentally it was my bday month! That's quite a lot to add on. Do you think any food or beverage chains do this surprise?? Can you guess what??<br/>Yes, Starbucks card holders are offered a huge range drink free on the brithday month. Took my brother along. Had this on a drizzling evening. Is there anything else anyone might expect from a TATA product?<br/>10000/10000 for all that they brew and serve...OK! Now I'm waiting for my next buddddday!! Thanks Starbucks for that! Love it!!! Hope I can find one in Dublin..!!

With exciting new flavours added regularly, Starbucks keeps its menu and customers piqued with interest. In this outlet, the ambience provides you with comfort and ease with which you can come with friends, family or even work. The staff has a very positive attitude.
Sangita G
Terrible experience and not up to the mark of international outlets. Service was the worst, asked for an almond milk frappuccino and the waitress would not even listen properly. In the end they charged me for the extra almond milk but only used normal milk and didn't even bother to mention it. Quality and taste is also terrible, either too sweet or too much ice. Not worth it at all, local tea shops are much better.

My husband and I visit here so often that it feels like our go to place when ever we are bored. My husband's favourite place. Ambience is decent and Starbucks maintains their quality as always.
Keerthika
Chicken club sandwich and the vanilla drink was top class .Worth the money and was very blissful .the place was well kept . Had fun trying out this calm and composed place 😊
Sanjanaa Kapoor
The perfect place to visit for hot chocolate. ❤️<br/>Rich hot chocolate, not very thick. You can also add on whipped cream if you wish too.<br/>.<br/><br/>Drink : HOT CHOCOLATE ( Short )<br/>.<br/><br/>Price : ₹190.
Anindito De
Brownie, Chicken strips, Quiche, Cheese Croissant and Latte were all good. However the person at the counter could have been friendlier and the place cleaner. It was bit difficult to find a table that was clean and not littered with personal belongings of guests who are at the cafe for the long haul.
Sada Sivam
Such a cool and funky place better than most other Starbucks in the town. Grab a coffee and treat yourself with a nice book in a seat and you're perfectly all set. If luck permits you'll be seeing some k town celebrities here. My all time fav - Hazelnut Latte has never been disastrous at this branch and I completely enjoyed it every single time I've been here.
Afizah
Best place to spend money like a water<br/><br/>Menu :lol<br/>Price: costly<br/>Ambience : wow<br/>Service : not bad<br/>Hygiene : best<br/>Best place to Have official meets
Dhivya Dharshini
Alwarpet Starbucks has a very nice ambience.<br/>My fav from SB is the Java Frappuccino and the eggless cookies.<br/>I like it more dhan the velachery branch! 😊<br/>
Subramanian Srinivasan
One of the best branches in the city :) <br/>They frappuchino is amazing <br/>I tried caramel java choco chip <br/>It was out of the world <br/>No wonder Starbucks is the best cafe in the world ❤️💚<br/>
Rishab Kothari
The one is located near hotel crowne plaza. Amazing place for decision making<br/>The upper sit area is very good. The instrumental playing also gives a good vibe. The bad part is very expensive coffee. Although I like the hazelnut cold coffee still 330 odd is very much for it .
Zeenat
Starbucks has it all! A great place to hangout and have great coffee and a wide range of beverages to choose from. Great ambience to spend your tiresome day or with your family with additional window shopping time as well.
Vinu
This place got cool ambiance. That is it.<br/><br/>Ordered a roasted pumpkin wrap along with hot chocolate and banana chocolate cake. <br/>Received some wrap filled with egg with chicken. Realized something was wrong after finishing the first bite. Thanks to them I tasted chicken for the first time in my life. (Friend of mine who accompanied me confirmed it was chicken)<br/>When I went up and informed the guys Over there that it’s egg with chicken they got it back and told will get me an another one !<br/>Accepted the apology that I never got. !!! <br/>And the banana chocolate cake was so dry and lifeless. No I had the cake first before tasting the chicken. So not complaining about it because of the messed up wrap that I received.
Srijita Chakrabarty
Pretty good location and with two floors, it is indeed spacious and really comfy. Plus is its washroom and charging points in the upper floor. Disadvantage is however the access as only staircase is available, as per my knowledge. Rest is more or less similar to all other retail outlets. Oh! They have adopted a really cute street dog and he stays right outside the main entrance and is super super super cute.
Aksshay Sainath
Located right on TTK road. This is one of the biggest outlets in Chennai. It has two levels, ground floor and 1st floor. A very good ambiance with good wood work and interiors. The place has full AC, it's very cozy and comfortable. I just had a freshly brewed coffee, that itself was 175 rupees, very expensive. The coffee was really good though. I liked it and it was a very refreshing.  Went over here with my friends and had a good time over there.

I've been to this branch a lot. So far, this is the best Starbucks branch after the Anna Nagar branch. The restroom is always clean and the service is prompt and with a smile. Coffee is pretty good but the snacks are below average. The veg paratha wrap was terrible, the mashed potato pie was very dry and I had to drink a lot of water after every bite. A great place to hangout though..
Mohamed Rashad
Be my guest at this location of starbucks ! Il be there around always. One of my fav spot in town and one of the best baristas in the location.
Vijay Raghavan
A Starbucks outlet with really questionable hygiene standards. Have fallen sick a couple of times after consuming their stuff. And their restroom is always filthy. The last time I checked, the toilet seat was broken. For the kind of prices they charge, their standards are pathetic. <br/><br/>And the quality of food, which applies to Starbucks in India in general, is pretty ordinary. As such, they serve stale food in nice ambience.
Akshaya
The service was good and the order was made perfectly. Perfect place to hangout and chill with friends. The ambience is top notch. The frappes are the best here.
Kadambari Padmanabhan
I visited this Starbucks in Chamiers road <br/>I really feel they should provide a better service and they should have little more courteous employees....<br/>There is no need for the introduction but I personally dint really like their coffees <br/>I felt it’s not worth the hype , that it has created for its brand....
Pallavi A
One of the leading coffeehouse chains in the world. This location is absolutely hip and cool. They provide free WiFi, lots of space for you to calmly work and sip on some great coffee ☕<br/><br/>We ordered three things : <br/><br/>1. Double chocolate chip frappuccino : This is the ultimate chocolate fix with choco chips, chocolate sauce and some creamy whipped cream. <br/><br/>2. Strawberries and créme frappuccino : The perfect balance of sweetness and tanginess. Great to have on a hot summer day 🍓🔆<br/><br/>3. Spinach and corn flatbread : Spinach and corn blended with white sauce and served warm was really great 🌽🍽<br/><br/>It is the perfect place to bring in some friends and catch up. Do try their lemon cake with a hot latte.<br/><br/>

I am writing with great disappointment, I would have not even dreamt in my wildest of dreams this experience at Star Bucks that an employee named Rajiv who claims to be store manager at Chennai Chamiers road branch. <br/><br/><br/>He has no etiquette whatsoever and the training which Starbucks provide and the screening they do while hiring people is absolutely a big question now.<br/><br/><br/>This incident happened today 10th Jan'18 between 9pm to 9.30pm wherein I walked in to ask him if I can get a whip cream alone to which he agreed and after few minutes he says the invoice amount is INR 163 and I was taken aback asking him if he is charging that much only for whip cream.<br/><br/><br/>He said he added some black coffee to it which I didn't even ask for and I politely informed him that it should have been conveyed to me when I had placed an order.<br/><br/><br/>I also gave him a reference that yesterday which is 9th jan'18 at similar time, I had got the whip cream at knk road outlet at only INR 20 to which he began arguing with me and I got furious over it.<br/><br/><br/>He continued arguing with me thinking that I was faking it and I lost my head at him and felt disgusted about the whole store including the brand when he asked me to step out of the store.<br/><br/><br/>Finally, I have decided to escalate this by whichever means to the highest level possible and I demand an apology and a compensation for the trauma caused to me at this store by their employees. <br/><br/><br/>

I like this place for its ambience and the location, it's very easy to locate. The orders are served soon as this outlet is not much crowded. Nothing more to review for a Starbucks outlet ☺😎

I fell Starbucks is lot better than many cafes in chennai . They have more number of flavours in their drinks . They’re strawberry latte was so good and tasty . Even their staffs were so friendly . I just loved it .

Worst experience had at Starbucks alwarpet I have visited this place with my friend on the celebration of star bucks 100 store we purchased thick milk shakes those shakes were completely diluted and felt like coffee powder which mixed with water utterly disappointed
Bharath Kumar
I have visited this place on the celebration of star bucks 100th store. I have purchaes few milk shakes which were absolutely not good and those shakes were completely diluted and the store was dirty the water was logged. I didn't really enjoyed the milk shakes.
Kopparam Senthil
Worst Starbucks please donot drink in offer time only hot water 💦 Rs100/- waste😂 money we did not enjoy the regular taste full of crowd so they did not take care of customers worst branch in Chennai 😂
Vijaya
So Starbucks is celebrating the opening of their 100th outlet in India and on this occasion, they've an irresistible offer i.e.any tall drink is only Rs. 100/- only for today. Incredible deal, isn't it. Who would not like to get a hand on this extremely tempting offer..?? And for an offer which too good to be true, the outlet should have been better prepared. For beginners, there was a HUGE queue when we went there around 3:15 or so and as responsible people we joined the queue. Unfortunately, there wasn't anyone monitoring the queue except for one person at the entrance who was letting in people depending on the rush at the counter. While we kept waiting in the queue for over an hour, what we observed is that there were a huge part of the crowd who were joining the queue anywhere they liked and not from where it was ending which was extremely disappointing. When we did eventually entered, after what seemed like ages, to our horror, the floor was full of dirty water which were either coming from the leaking AC or toilet. And then, when we tried to place the order, at least half the items on the menu weren't available. No mango, no strawberry, no this n no that. Again shows a lack of preparation and bad indenting. <br/><br/>Since we were shooed off saying no consuming the drinks at the restaurant (rude attitude and no reason given. The offer never mentioned it's only on takeaway), when we reached home, the drinks were diluted and not of the regular Starbucks quality and neither the quantity was one full glass. Hardly about half the glass filled along with the froth. Dear Starbucks India, if you never intended to provide the regular quality or quantity, why provide it in the first place..?? Why cheat your customers..?? I seek answers from the management.
Food Ecstasy
I’ve been here a couple of times and their service is fast enough. The crew knows their stuff around so you can always rely on their recommendations. I’m a fan of their cookies so no comments there. <br/><br/>Overall - Everyone will keep visiting no matter what others say! :p

This place apart from being considered only for Instagram pictures and Snapchat stories is not that bad and costly as many people think. It might cost a bit more than coffee day but it’s more classy and tastes pretty good. People thinks this a place for the rich to hang out. But clear your thoughts bruh..... cuz this place acc to me is a place for a better class of people to hang out. If ever busing there order a hazelnut latte and if you want something cold go with the white chocolate frappe with caramel drizzle on top. Hope my review is informative, thank you!!
Ramshankar S
The upstairs is quiet amazing and has very nice wall hangings (designs on jute canvas).<br/>Being a regular at Starbucks cafes in the US, no second thoughts about their hot coffees. The customised food for Indians are quite good too. Love their Tiramisu cheesecake.<br/>I feel the prices of Starbucks F&Bs are on the higher side, which could prevent people from frequenting these places. (12/10/2017) Had their chilli cheese toast. Perfectly heated and tasted very nice.<br/>The service staff are friendly and professional.

I think out of the many Starbucks outlets I have been to, this outlet's service is pretty good. They are very welcoming. The ambience is also great :)
Yeshvanthp
Ambience is nice but the outlet is small compared to the other Starbucks' in Chennai. Doesn't give you that Starbucks feel. Service was good.<br/><br/>Service 4/5<br/><br/>Ambience 3/4<br/><br/>Food 4/5

Service was horrible..past 2 year I had Cappuccino in Starbucks.I ordered one cappuccino for dine In..but the brew master made a take away so I asked him could u please give to me dinein.but they answered irresponsible for me..we would takeaway the cappuccino..we could not give to dine in.if u want to have a cappi..just go outside and have..it's absolutely f*** response..how u people treat a customer..u ppl treat a guest like priority...it's not a good..totally it's terrible service ..I don't exactly the server name..

#143 <br/>Loved this Starbucks. It's the same in almost all the Starbucks across the country but the staff here are even more courteous. I love my haleznut latte and murg Katti wrap. Been here several times. Best place to chill. Work n play types.
N T
Excellent place to just chill or work with good drinks. Ordered an Americano which was perfect. I tried the Irish cold coffee. Tasted good but a lot of ice. Had an almond oatmeal cookie which was lovely. The biggest drawback is the cost. Had to pay 700 and odd for these 3 items.

Outlet looks good outside but no so good inside the new strawberry coconut does not taste good and the hazelnut latte was not tasting so.overall a normal experience.

If you ask me the question, coffee or tea? Then it is always Tea! Starbucks, a renowned name for coffee, has recently Introduced a new tea menu which is aptly termed as TEAVANA, because Tea is Nirvana!<br/><br/>I was invited to try the speciality teas and we were given the following teas to taste :<br/><br/>🔘 India Spice Majesty Blend : Such a fancy name to the Masala Chai. It had such strong flavours which I like in my tea. I liked it black rather than when had it with milk<br/><br/>🔘 Black Tea with Ruby Grapefruit and Honey : It was served cold and had a refreshing citrus flavour. <br/><br/>🔘 Iced Shaken Hibiscus with Pomegranate Pearls : As the name suggests, this was served cold and had a strong burst of flavours emanating from it. The pearls were my favourite as they popped rightly in the mouth<br/><br/>🔘 Matcha and Espresso Fusion : This fell a lil on the down side for me. Passable in other words.<br/><br/>Along with the teas we also had a few sandwiches as we were thoroughly hungry.<br/><br/>🔘 Wild Mushroom Pockets : Looked very appealing to the appetite with its rich creaminess but I felt as if a raw earthy flavour was coming from it.<br/><br/>🔘 Chicken Club Sandwich : Had loads of veggies along with Chicken sausage but my friend did not give a bit from his sandwich 😂<br/><br/>🔘 Double Meat Sandwich : Unhealthy in all aspects, but who cares when it has eggs, meat and sausages? Perfect for a hunger striken person. I really loved it.<br/><br/>We finished the whole meal with a Red Velvet and Orange Cheesecake. More than the Chocolate flavour, the orange flavour was much higher, thereby not appealing much!<br/>
Suryam
The biggest Starbucks in Chennai. It has the best and the most helpful staff. The seats are well maintained in this outlet and there is a good parking space available outside.

Starbucks always comes with de great ambience and friendly service.. This place is quiet above all.. I never be bored sitting alone in this place.. Such a calm surrounding seeing ppl working on various stuff.. My all time favorite strawberry crème which never disappoint me and de egg& chicken ham always my favorite..
Anirudh Khanna
This has to be my regular, my go-to spot in Chennai and therefore my rating/review is going to be biased since I perhaps have a sentimental value attached to this place. I do not suppose I should be reviewing a Starbucks based on the quality of food/beverages since it's pretty much the same everywhere, and I've never been disappointed by the quality offered by this particular one. I've spent enough time here to have noticed the details and it's phenomenal how the place grows on you. I love the fact that it has seating upstairs as well, and makes for a great place to work. I'm not sure if it's something to do with the place but I've never felt more comfortable talking to strangers elsewhere. The staff has always been courteous and serve you well. The only thing they could improve is to have more number of plug-points installed:)
Gopi Navelen
Positives: nice ambience and place to sit and read a book over coffee.<br/>Negatives: drinks are not of the same standards as other Starbuxks around the world. Extremely slow service especially for take away orders of cake.
Mrinalini Ravikumar
It's pretty good..... This is one place I like to visit to enjoy my coffee in peace. I haven't tried the food there, but I like the coffee, my favorite being the caramel latte.
Hamza Farooq
The best thing about this place is the staff is so friendly, they help you choose from the menu with assurance that they will replace the drink if you don't like it. The only minus of this place is, it's always crowded, not that we can do anything about it. I like the cakes in Starbucks, specially the blueberry one ❤️
Aparna Raghavan
Most places disappoint us not because of the food or the service but the hype that people give you! The hot chocolate is good and the ambience is on point. I visited this place for coffee tasting which was also good. The staffs are super friendly. Would make a perfect coffee meet up with a friend on a rainy evening :)

A good cosy place to spend time over a coffee Well it needs no introduction no matter what Best part was the filter coffee that I was served with a Indian steel glass which had a starbucks logo on it I was taken aback it was and always is awesome The guy who served us Santhosh was quite interesting to chat with and very polite A go to place for a coffee hang out

This branch of Starbucks has been here forever but this was my first visit here. There is no introduction needed for this place, so I'll straight away go to my review on this place 😉 <br/><br/>Location - It's located in one of the most posh areas of the city- Chamier's Road, Alwarpet. It's right on the main road opposite to Tuscana Pizzeria. Very easy to locate. Google maps pin-points the place exactly and the nameboard and the place is huge. That makes it hard to miss. Even map isn't needed to find this place. <br/><br/>Parking - Valet, they say. We parked our car ourselves straight in the parking area as it was free when we went. Even if there's no valet here, parking wouldn't be much of an issue in this area since the front part has ample space and since it's located at the corner of a street, cars can be parked inside the street too. <br/><br/>Ambience - Neat and impressive! There are two floors. The entire area is covered with neat wood work. The seating is arranged in such a way that everyone gets decent amount of privacy. There are tall tables with tall chairs and also normal cushion seats with low/short tea tables. There are stools too, but I don't think many will find the stools comfortable. The air-conditioning was good. The lighting was perfect. The whole area is maintained clean and tidy. Even the billing counter and the sink area is maintained clean. No one is clumsy here. I've no complaints in this part. <br/><br/>Service - Self-service. We have to place our order at the counter and go get the items when they call our name. The person behind the counter had good knowledge about items in the menu and explained what was what, clearly and patiently. For a café, the service was really quick. <br/><br/>Food - The standard Starbucks menu. Nothing different. Our orders were: <br/>👉 Tall Red Hat Mocha Frappuccino - This was actually suggested by the person behind the counter. Loved it! I actually didn't know what it was made of actually, but he clearly explained that there are three layers of chocolate mixed along with whipped cream on top. This made me want to buy it. It was exactly as explained. Thick and yummy. Tall was the smallest size available and I was struggling to finish even this. <br/>👉 Tall Mocha Praline Frappuccino - This was our own selection and I personally didn't like it. It had strong coffee taste. Maybe that's the way it should be, but I'm just saying that I personally did not like it. <br/>👉 Chocolate Brownie - The name says chocolate, but it was just plain brownie. No chocolate was there in this. It was plain and dry. It was fresh but the nameboard can just have the words 'brownie' instead of 'chocolate brownie'. Priced at Rs.180/-, I didn't feel like it was worth it. <br/>👉 Red Velvet - This was superb! Loved it! It was fresh, soft and yummy. I loved the vanilla cream shavings that were sprinkled on top. The sponge part was also so soft and there was ample cream. <br/><br/>Paid Rs.1,103/- for these four items. Too costly for an average café experience. But can't complain about the pricing since it's a world renowned brand and there's no way they can reduce the price anymore. <br/><br/>Pros: <br/>*Location <br/>*Ambience <br/>*Red Velvet <br/><br/>Cons: <br/>*Brownie <br/>*Pricing <br/><br/>Location - 4/5 <br/>Parking - 4/5 <br/>Ambience - 4.5/5 <br/>Service - 3.5/5 <br/>Food - 3.5/5 <br/>Pricing - 2.5/5 <br/>VFM - 3.5/5
Sangeetha S
wonderful place I just loved the ambiance 💖 bit too costly :P but its a total worth. I liked those chairs and the arrangements. 😍 had an amazing time with my bestie 😁

Hi speed Wifi is now available Great decor and good ambience will make up for it. Coffees - Hot Iced and Frappuccinos are served; alongwith a wide variety of Veg & Non-Veg Sandwiches and Salads as well. Weekdays and sundays are relaxed and saturdays are a little crowded. You could lay your sights on a few top guys of Tollywood here. To sum it up- a great place to go with your family or loved one.

This branch is the best in terms of Decor and store maintenance. I totally loved this store as there was bright sunlight coming through from one end of the store and there was a mezzanine floor on top of which the lighting was perfect and ambient, But carrying your drinks up there is a pain. <br/><br/>Service is quick and perfect. The music is perfect and soothing. Nice seating which you can find in all the branches across chennai. Menu is the same too. I stuck to my favourites here. The double meat club sandwich is an all time favourite for me. I love all their Frappuccino's and coffee's. They've introduced the new filter coffee for the people here in chennai and it tasted good and strong. <br/><br/>Nice ambiance, great coffee and good service makes this place my favourite one. They have a good Wi-Fi too which makes it a place to sit and work for a while.

Was here on a sunday mrng to meet a friend & had a lovely iced tea. The place is good, big, the ever ready to help staff & the starbucks menu with choices to suit one & all. Nice place to meet up with friends, family or business meets on a cofi...

There's nothing new to say about Starbucks, it being a well known brand for luxury coffee and other eatables. <br/><br/>However, for the sake of it, we decided to have "filter coffee" in Starbucks. I'm<br/>Not a coffee person at all, but I have definitely tried quite a few coffees around the city for work related stuff. I must say, the filter coffee was beyond expectations. Very thick and rich, with good amount of froth and perfectly served in a dhabra like any other roadside kadai. The only thing, it was priced at Rs.160. But you cannot expect less in such a Posh set up. So I guess, once in a while, it's okay! <br/><br/>It's a good place to be if you would just like to read or work on something for hours ( it has wifi, btw) ! <br/><br/>However, I also tried the mango mouse cake. I absolutely loved it. It had a chocolate cake base and very rich mango flavour mousse cake on top. A little tangy and very smooth!
Sabarish Elango
A good place for coffee if you're in the mood to purge your wallet of money. Very friendly staff. We had the double chocolate chip and chocolate cream to drink, along with roasted chicken on toasted multigrain bread. The chairs were nice and cozy- you could sit there with your coffee for hours (if you like to do that thing Americans do by ordering hot/cold drinks and waiting for them to get to room temperature before drinking). The drinks were a bit too icy and the texture was uneven. They tasted very nice though. The hot chocolate I had to compensate for the frost smelled and tasted great. Overall, it was average, especially considering the price you're paying.

This is going to be an odd review because there isn't any food talk here. I spent the last three years cramming for finals and doing group reports out of Starbucks outlets. So when i came back to Chennai, that's the first thing I was on the lookout for.<br/> <br/>For people like me who need that white noise to help concentrate on work or projects, this particular branch of Starbucks is the best one! <br/><br/>They're two stories high and the upper level has a cosy vibe while the lower level has quite the startup incubator feel. <br/><br/>The noise level is at a pleasant buzz level and the music is not glaring unlike a lot of other coffee shops. They're nicely tucked in a corner so you have 2 "busy views". <br/><br/>The overall look is very fresh (with glass walls on two sides) and the cafe in general is also very clean. <br/><br/>Food is pretty standard. If you're used to Starbucks there's nothing alarming or surprising. <br/><br/>Overall, if you want a break from your tiny office cubicle or hate studying in libraries or just need to take a break from the world and read a book, this is a good spot to be. <br/><br/>My only issue though is that none of the starbucks branches in India have Wi-Fi :(

Wanted some good coffee hence decided to head to Starbucks,Alwarpet.<br/>Place is easy to spot and has decent car park.<br/>By the time I entered it was around 10pm and hence they had shut off their first floor and were cleaning.<br/>I quickly skimmed the menu written on a board and the guy at the counter was quite helpful.Near the cash counter were an array of pastas, bread, croissants, pastries etc.<br/>I was in a mood for hazelnut hence ordered a Tall Hazelnut latte. The guy at the counter asked if we needed it in styrofoam cups or mug and I opted for a mug.<br/>After paying about 250 bucks for the latte I was time passing by looking at the décor and accompanying items on a tray like demarara sugar, white sugar, sugar free, nutmeg, cinnamon etc.<br/>They also sell some impressive cups and stainless coffee holders. All this is fun to watch when your coffee is getting made. The AC and wifi at this place is good.<br/>Now coming to the Hazelnut Latte. The plus point is there is no milk smell that you find in most coffees found at CCD,amethyst, chamiers etc and it's is better blended with more latte and less milk smell or froth. For someone like me who hates the milk smell this place is impressive because they are really good with their strong coffees.<br/>I don't think the price was too much for the quality. Also the quantity is quite decent and so is the ambience.<br/>I would like to try this place often.<br/>To save money you can go during the happy hours and get a member card too. Those features seem good at Star Bucks.<br/>I would have given a 5 but didn't because they shut the first floor at 10pm itself. They should keep it open till 11pm(closing).

I'm not really one for Overpriced Coffee but I really love this branch for catching up with friends I haven't met in a while. This is also occasionally my takeaway dessert place on a weekday night because I seem to have a soft corner for their Blueberry Cake. Also, their Almond Biscotti gets a special mention. They are super munchable and I blame my friend for this newfound addiction of mine. Recommend their Chocolate Hazelnut Macchiato.

Great pastry, Frappuccino, valet parking, friendly staff....they didn't have the cheesecake I was hoping to have.. Well there 's always a next time :) As many mention, it is over priced. But in comparison to other bakers and cafes selling overpriced mediocre pastry and drinks, I'd be willing to pay for the quality.. We stumbled into this after being disappointed at Pantry dOr nearby. We haven't checked out if the WiFi works. That's on the agenda for next time.

What prompted me to write a review for this Starbucks location is their customer service! Most Starbucks branches are more or less the same with the beverages and food. But this alwarpet branch really deserves a shoutout for the killer ambience and the great staff that they have. A friend and I recently visited the Starbucks and had a great time, especially with their summer promotion going on. The staff were super helpful and very patient as I repeatedly questioned them on their rewards system. So this Starbucks location is a the definition of a great hangout spot.

'why are you covering your cup with that Brown cardboard holder?'<br/><br/>'it's hot, I can't hold it, that's why'<br/><br/>'then how will people, know that it's from Starbucks?'<br/><br/>*faceplam*<br/><br/>Conspicuous consumption is the primary motto behind going to a Starbucks franchise. With its fad increasing in Chennai, I wanted to see what the hype is about. But then, I realized, I'm a foodie. No amount of Italian marble, maple wood walls and cashmere seats is going to change my primary mission, of demolishing good food. The thing is, Starbucks in its mission to look ravishing (which it does, mind you) hasn't really impressed me with its raison d'être, the food.<br/><br/>My usual preference for tea over coffee, did nothing to ameliorate my inherent skepticism about this place. It is just not my kind of deal. Ergo, when I had asked for an English breakfast tea, at 10 PM (condone the irony, having breakfast tea near midnight) the guy working at the counter gave me a cup full of hot water and a tea bag. While that was something I absolutely didn't expect, he kind of saved the best for the last. There was no milk, and on request, after the initial cold stare I was given cold milk. A genuine WTF moment, with hot tea, and cold milk. I obviously wasn't going to let my shame ruin my chance at a good tea :P, so I asked him why is my milk cold?<br/><br/>'You want hot?'<br/><br/>Is that even a question. Who has cold breakfast tea, with cold milk. It's not even. I mean. Ugh. If these guys intend to serve do-it-yourself tea, they should rather serve the tea and the milk separately, and give me a third cup to pour to my tastes. Rather, I was given my tall glass, with my milk separately and no third cup. Hence, I had to drink it black, to finish half my glass, as to accommodate the milk I was bequeathed by these vikings in acknowledgement of my struggle.<br/><br/>My friend had ordered an espresso with a request for an additional shot. After taking a sip, he checked the bill, cause he thought they forgot his request for the shot. He being a caffeine regular, could make the difference. I don't, I mean. Ugh.<br/><br/>Red velvet cake. Okay it was good. It saved the disastrous beverages from ruining the night. Go ahead and buy yourself one if you're feeling decadent.<br/><br/>The place itself, was like I said, indulgent. Everything felt expensive, and good lighting. Probably a nice play to study. I couldn't check out their mezzanine floor, as they had closed service in that section post 10 pm. I went here cause I would never step into the joint at royapettah, even at gun point. That place looks like someone gatecrashed a picnic. Also one of my friends just walked passed the tables, picked up a frappe and left. It was a friends', so she was running up and down for a while before we appeared and said, 'hey sorry, we finished your drink :D' (frappe was alright though. :P) it's just so, on the road.<br/><br/>The bill was quite a rude shock. The three dishes touched about 700 Rs, which is, understandable if not acceptable. But what I couldn't tolerate was these people adding a service charge. Not a service tax, but a service charge. I basically placed my order at the counter, picked it up from the counter, walked across the hallway and picked my sugars, argued for my glass of milk, which by the way, I had to bring it to my table on my own, and I have to pay these fellows a service charge? This was absolutely ridiculous. I was just sitting there, knowing very well that I can't yell at the guy on the counter for adding a service charge, cause it isn't his fault, but not knowing what I have to do about it. Thankfully, Zomato has been my agony aunt for food tragedies, hence venting my frustrations here helps getting some closure.<br/><br/>If your life is filled with Michael Kors, Gucci, Ralph Lauren, Louis Vitton, with a dash of Jaguar or Mercedes thrown in, and when someone says 'mall' you think Bergamo, rather than EA or phoenix , Starbucks might be a welcome addition to your life. For the shameless, Peter England guy such as yours truly, the Tea stalls at anna Nagar 18th main road, serve tea much much better than the folks here.<br/><br/>(P.S: you should try the tea stalls, really, especially one next to the IAS academy, they make bajji in the morning, but it's still crispy in the afternoon. Don't know how they do it!)<br/><br/>Cheers. : )<br/>

This is one of my most favorite Starbucks branches. It is huuge and has a lot of seating space. Their drinks are as good as every other branch, but I have a feeling their cakes and sandwiches aren't fresh. They are very dry and dense at times.

I love their hazelnut latte, its my all time favourite! <br/><br/>I picked up a piece of the blueberry cheese cake and the red-velvet cake before meeting my best friends for an evening snack! This made our day ❤️ The red velvet cake was extremely moist and the sweetness was balanced perfectly! <br/><br/>8 | Starbucks | #100happymeals <br/><br/>

Good place for coffee hangout, cool ambiance lovely yummy Menu .sooooo cool place to be with friends and of course for singles for peaceful thoughts to come

2.0 ratings only for their ambience. I know Starbucks are expensive. But there should be some justification. We ordered vanilla shake and chocolate shake to drink and a sandwich and Greek roll(cold) to eat. These items costs us the 1590 bucks..seriously? And coming to the taste..none tastes good..we just threw half the food to dustbin.. No matter how we spend but the satisfaction after the meal should always be positive and this outlet fails long way

Awesome Ambience. The 2 floor set up makes this place even more interesting.<br/><br/>Excellent location to have a business discussion. <br/><br/>Loved the service here specially and the suggestions made by the guy at the counter.

Disclaimer : You're reading a non-coffee drinker's review of Starbucks. So, read with caution. :P <br/><br/>Right, Whether I am in India or abroad, I never venture into a Starbucks establishment - reason : my hatred towards the smell of coffee and for the sole reason that I don't get anything to drink here apart from a hot chocolate. <br/><br/>Ofcourse, I don't have too many experiences with this famous brand - and hence my review below is a stand alone write up of what I felt looking at Chennai go ga-ga over the whole concept. <br/><br/>Location : Chamiers Road! Right next to the erstwhile Park Sheraton (now Crowne Plaza) complex. Easy to spot. Perfect place - considering the expats who live in the surrounding areas and the youngsters who frequent this side of town. <br/><br/>Parking : About 8-10 cars can park around the building. And they did seem to have a valet person as well. <br/><br/>Ambiance : typical self service starbucks style. Cozy chairs that are sadly placed too close to each other. About 50 odd people can sit there at a stretch. <br/><br/>Walked in at about 6:30 PM on a Sunday. Three in number. Each of us picked up our drinks and headed to the first floor in search of a place to sit (as the ground floor was packed). <br/><br/>My hot chocolate was good - a lot better than my experience at their EA branch. Too much whipped cream though. I paid 162 for a decent sized cup of hot chocolate. Nope, not my idea of value for money. <br/><br/>Reason why I still give them a three : great taste to that hot chocolate. And they have done their branding well. A nice place to relax. <br/><br/>Service : great on that front. They ensure that they clean the tables often and they are courteous. <br/><br/>Bottomline : This place looked more like one that was filled with expats who missed their regular coffee. I'm not too sure on how they would fit into the Indian Culture. Oh. And order the Hot chocolate if the cost factor did not deter you. <br/>Not for the Indian Soul, I would still say.

Found this branch of Starbucks while I was wandering alone on the Chamiers road.. Ambiance is just awesome.. One can spent quality time alone and also along with their friends.. Coming on the food and beverage section.. My favorites are Red Velvet Cake and Cheese Cake.. And the ever delicious Coffee free Caramel Cream.. I just love this drink.. It’s so filling and yummy

Starbucks till a couple of years ago was seemingly an unknown commodity in Chennai. However cut to the present and you will find a substantial number of outlets having blossomed across the length and breath of the city.<br/><br/>Whatever you get at each of the outlets is the same with just some being bigger in size and effectively more customer friendly as it gives you the option of lazing back over a cup of coffee.<br/><br/>This particular Starbucks outlet at Chamiers Road should supposedly be one of the biggest in the city being spread across 2 floors. The woodwork is done up really well and the place looks classy and posh.<br/><br/>I was here to grab a quick beverage and ordered for a "Tall Mocha cookie crumble Frappe". It wasn't tall by any means as it was provided in the same old quintessential Starbucks plastic cup. And I just cannot refrain from saying that I found it to be too astronomically priced. The product as such was priced at a whopping 230 bucks and with the taxes added came up to an eye popping 270 odd. Paying so much for a beverage beats me. Yes the drink was good with the strong crushed taste of the cookies but however does not justify the price fleeze.<br/><br/>This outlet has it's moments. It's high profile and caters more towards the elite. If you are the one who is price insensitive and not too worried about the spondilucks you shell out, you will mostly like this place. It didn't particularly gel with me but I know for a fact that there will always be a coterie who will vouch for Starbucks.<br/>

This is by far the best starbucks outlet in chennai in terms of ambience. The food tasted the same like other outlets. One negative fact about this place is that it does not have proper arrangements to accommodate a group of more than 4 people.

Great service. Wonderful ambiance. But the one thing that makes a Starbucks a Starbucks is crucially missing; the free wifi. I asked once they said they didn't have it--no mention of whether or not they will have it in the future. So if you actually want to go and mingle and talk to people, this is a pretty cool place.

Starbucks used to be the breakfast spot for me for quite a while during my time abroad but Starbucks India rarely gives me the same satisfaction their foreign counterparts have given. As a matter of fact, I prefer the cakes and food rather than their coffee which is ironically what they're famous for. This particular Starbucks in Alwarpet opened recently and we planned on going to another cafe which we thought was open. Since that was closed, we weren't left with much choices and we landed here. Given below is my review of Starbucks, Alwarpet. <br/><br/>This Starbucks is located on Chamiers road which is known for it's posh crowd and I guess they couldn't have gotten a better place than this apart from the malls. I thought they had valet parking which is always a boon but instead they had a person managing it. Considering the small parking space, I was told to park in front of another car which I was later told to move, halfway through my drink, as the car behind me had to leave. Valet parking would actually make a lot of sense in this type of scenario. Ambience is pretty good. It's got the usual Starbucks theme but the freshness and cleanliness of Starbucks is something I always adore. Service has always been a strong point for Starbucks but I've noticed a rather lethargic service in almost all Starbucks here in Chennai. I guess it must be due to rushed up training. Though they were following their protocols, courteousness was rather lacking in their service. <br/><br/>They had a long queue to the ordering section which could've been maintained better to regulate the crowd. We ordered an Espresso Macchiato, a Double Chocolate Chip drink. a Red Velvet & Orange Cake and a Chocolate Crunch Cake. Macchiato was very mild and wasn't up to the likings of my friend. My Double Chocolate Chip drink was pretty decent. It's coffee free nature is the reason I got it but I guess a coffee based cold drink would've been much better. Cakes ended up being our saving grace. My usual favourite Red Velvet was a bit too dry this time but still we gobbled it happily. Chocolate Crunch was the day's hero. Super moist and sinfully chocolatey, this cake was just amazing. <br/><br/>Bill total was Rs.931 and considering what we had and the experience, I'm sure it's not a surprise when I call it a not-so-value-for-money place. Sorting out the parking, tweaking a bit of service and some training on crowd management would do a much needed difference. <br/><br/>RATINGS BREAK UP:-<br/>Location:- 5/5<br/>Parking:- 3/5<br/>Reception:- 3/5<br/>Food:- 2.5/5<br/>Customer Service:- 2/5<br/>Ambience:- 4/5<br/>Price:- 2/5

I finally visited the newly opened Starbucks. This place is bigger and better than some of its outlets in Chennai. This outlet is located in chamiers road, alwarpet. <br/><br/>As said this outlet is bigger and brighter than the other outlets. It has two floors, ground and the first floor. The interior design is nice and the seating is very comfy. The downstairs have brick wall finish with the wooden racks and tables which gives a pleasant look for quick coffee time. The upstairs is very cozy and less disturbance here. <br/><br/>Coming to the food, Instead of my usual double choco chip drink I had hazelnut latte. The latte was good and really a much needed drink for relaxation. The hazelnut flavor was strong in it. Then we ordered winter cake, Cherry chocolate cake and hibiscus ice tea. The winter cake was a new dish I had in SB; it was strawberry cheese cake with chocolate base in the bottom. Cherry chocolate cake is the usual one we have in SB always. Both the cakes were good and didn’t last long time we quickly finished it. Finally the hibiscus ice tea, omg this was the worst drink I have ever had in Starbucks. It tasted really bad and I never expected it to taste so bad.<br/><br/>Service, As usual they did a wonderful service. “Welcome to Starbucks” usually they shout when a new customer enters SB. Quick in service and not very time consuming also polite to customers.<br/><br/>Cost, its little bit costly. I usually go for the short drinks. Starbucks is not a place to be hung out daily but definitely on meeting old friends having long conversations this is the place.<br/><br/>Parking, there is enough space in the front and a road along to park your car. <br/><br/> My rating would be 4/5.

The newest of those, this one is brighter and peppier than them all. Seating divided into two floors, it looks big and open. Interesting decor, great seating, bright lights, music and friendly staff are some positives here. The best and the worst part would be the mezzanine floor. It's good for the privacy part whereas carrying up drinks and coming down to order is a pain at times. <br/>I personally enjoy Starbucks for spending time on some work or catching up with friends with some coffee and quick bites. And at this branch it was really enjoyable. I didn't face too many flaws by the baristas at this branch. Twice I did and it was promptly rectified. Love the seasonal introductions too. Eagerly awaiting the wifi arrival at this branch too. For their service, quality and the time I get to spend there I feel it's reasonably priced.

This very beautiful Starbucks branch in alwarpet is a remarkable structure, with a brilliant ambience. For all coffee lovers, it is a great place to stop by. I had the triple bean jelly caramel cappuccino, and was not disappointed. Enjoy some coffee here by yourself, or accompany a coffee lover and find yourself enthralled in the coffee bean aroma filled branch of Starbucks.

Starbucks has finally made its way to chennai with multiple outlets. Thanks to Tata for getting Starbucks outlets in alliance at several places in chennai. <br/><br/>Having been to Starbucks at so many places around the world, the Starbucks at alwarpet brings its subtleness with it. The place is nicely done with a very good ambience as u expect with any Starbucks outlet. As with any Starbucks the menu remains the same. Regarding the quality of the drink that was served I think They have tried their level best to match with the standards. I was pretty happy with it. I had a red velvet cake which was very good. The cake was fresh as well to add to my happiness. The only negative which I can think off is probably the parking space. U need to look for parking place in the streets if u can't get a place in the parking lot. <br/><br/>Overall Starbucks, alwarpet has brought the most wanted coffee brand to India in a classic style.

one of my favourites…period. <br/><br/>Love everything about it. Must visit! Has the vibe and all that! <br/><br/>Welcome to Staaarbucks!...except that in India you will be greeted by Mahesh and Dinesh instead of Monica and Diana... But that’s cool…cos it’s staaarbucks! Lol…

This place is bigger cozier and better than the any other Starbucks outlet in chennai. It's glass walls with wooden borders & hilights are simply captivating.. There are a bunch of tables and seats perched up on the first floor and is private and ideal for secret chars with your Bff's... The drinks are just as divine as they are in other outlets but to quote a few of my favourites are Caramel praline latte, Java chip cappuccino, Caramel Mochiatto, Coca cappuccino, Mocha cookie 🍪 Crumble... I could go on but the last one is their silky smooth cold coffee ☕... Its safe to state that I'm a Starbucks addicted writer... Its no surprise I give this one 5 stars that is well deserved

Always the best coffee like their promise. <br/>It's extremely addictive.... Watch out !!! <br/>Their loyalty card also works seamlessly. Service always with a pleasant welcoming and fond farewell when u leave.

Pretty cool ambience, had great time here, went with frens, had classic hot chocolate and rasbery pastery, just wowed by the drink but te pastery wasn as great as it would usually be. I just feel it was from a previous day inventory !!!!

The place was adorned by two different shops earlier, Ground floor was Evolv, which was a designer clothes showroom and 1st floor was Page 3 saloon. Both have been combined and Starbucks stands tall with its distinctive interiors. <br/>Since it has opened, I have been there twice. Like any other new place, the staff looks nervous, and not very well acquainted with lot of things yet, and sadly that includes the orders. Big Brands like starbucks really need to be very careful, especially in providing everything that's required to prepare anything that's on the menu, training the staff on what's available and how it is done. <br/><br/>Loved the Ambiance. <br/><br/>FOOD: (RATHER COFFEES): We ordered two coffees. Mine is pretty regular, short Cappuccino with Hazelnut flavour. It was fine. Though not that awesome magical feel that I get at the US or other Starbucks, but not bad at all. Nothing much can go wrong with a Cappuccino actually. <br/>My friend wanted a Tall Mocha Frappuccino and it had to be changed twice as they kept serving a wrong drink. <br/>It was a very basic thing, as we decided not to go for anything fancy , not experiment any new flavour. Still there were issues. Later the need chef explained that they have just opened, training of staff is still going on and more importantly they do not yet get all the critical ingredients that is supposed to reach here. Many things are not locally available, and they are sent through the central starbucks supply place. Well, I can completely understand that and I am sure it will improve. We cannot compare the branch here with the others around the world and we too need to accept that. But ya, the charges all over will remain same... LOL. <br/>They also served us some bite sized brownies to taste and give feedback, guess that was a dish of the day to take feedbacks from almost every customer. The brownie was good, but I am now biased towards Brownie Heaven and why not. <br/>They have loads of snacks and food items available. from pastas, Caesar salad, cookies, muffins, sandwiches.<br/>It cost us a total of Rs 420 for the two coffees.

Dropped by for some coffee on a Sunday afternoon and mostly just to take in the "Starbucks experience". Disclaimer - I'm not a coffee person, so if you're heavily into coffee like I'm into tea maybe you'll feel differently about this place. <br/><br/>Ambience - ADORABLE! I loved the look and feel of this place as soon as I stepped in. A gorgeous aroma of coffee hits your senses on opening the door, and you're greeted with warm smiles and happy faces. The decor is lovely - exposed brick walls, lots of wood, well arranged seating (two floors). <br/><br/>Service - Self. But the people behind the counter were courteous and pleasant.<br/><br/>Food - The food on display at the counter looked great, but unfortunately I didn't have the time to eat anything. We ordered 3 drinks - A caramel cream , a chocolate latte and a cold chocolate coffee. The caramel cream (first attempt) tasted like vanilla milk shake and I had to get it made again in front of me to ensure there was enough caramel. It was much better the second time. However, I'm not a fan of the amount of ice they use in their drinks (BRAINFREEZE), and the drinks were all just about okay. <br/><br/>Pricing - We paid about 650 INR for 3 drinks which is not too much given the ambiance. So reasonably priced I would say. However, I'm not a fan of the coffee. Will try the snacks next time and update my review!<br/>

So one more in town next to crowne plaza. Quite a big space for the new instalment. There is parking facility for both cars and bikes. A two storey building with an awesome ambience. Love the wall hangings and the walls filled with bricks. The lantern and seaters were good. The universal menu of Starbucks in chennai stands here too. All time favourite is HOT CHoCoLaTe 😁

Yay!! One more now open in alwarpet! Just what the city needs! Another place for the insta crowd. Another place to jazz up the vocabz!! Yo!!<br/><br/>After an awesome lunch, me and my buddies were headed to this new place that opened up on the cenotaph road. Only after reaching the place we realized that it opens only at 7 since we had 2 hours to kill and each other's company, all we needed was a place to kill the time. So it was fate that decided to put me in here. Trust me I had decided to spare this one at least but sigh, can't fight them all.<br/><br/>Ambience - bright and beige and blah. You have been to one, you have seen them all. No music. Come on, i do not want to hear the chatter of the twitter/insta crowd, reading their stuff is one thing but to actually hear that non sense.. Sheesh..<br/><br/>Service - self service. It would be great if for once they could actually spell our names right. My friends got "dfaq" and "mom" written on their cups. And their names do not even rhyme with these words..<br/><br/>Soooooo.. There I was sitting inside the cafe, contemplating on what to go for. I do not have the stomach to take in their coffee, no sir no, not one of those. So I played safe and ordered a Chocolate crunch cake. My friends ordered a red velvet n orange cake, double chocolate chip frappe, cappuccino and chocolate maccachiato(or what ever that is)<br/><br/>The chocolate crunch cake was brilliant. Red velvet is OK ish. The drinks - none of my friends finished theirs. That's says it all about the drinks. Trying to experiment by adding things to them, only angered the coffee more and it turned its uglier face to us making us feel iffy with the taste and smell.. So leaving our drinks unfinished, we walked out at 7. We did have a fun time, thanks to the awesome company and the crunchy cake..<br/><br/>The bill came up to 1000 bucks.. And I quote one of the cups here and I mean it when I say it "Dfaq"!!!!!<br/><br/>Any who....<br/>Location - 5/5.<br/>Parking - 5/5.<br/>F&B - 2/5. (2 for the cake)<br/>Pricing - 1/5.<br/>Ambience - 2/5.<br/>Service - i repeat - Dfaq!!<br/>

The closest startbucks if you stay around Alwarpet. Situated close to Crowne Plaza.<br/><br/>There is adequate parking for about 8 cars. It's situated across two levels.<br/>The seating in the lower level consists of wooden high tables and stools, cushions and low tables and couple of sofas. The seating is definitely cramped.<br/>Ordered the usual cappuccino, one with caramel. The service is pleasant.<br/>Ordered some cookies and a Chicken puff. The puffs were fresh and tasty.<br/>Will definitely visit this place more often
