I had Podi, paneer ghee dosa and some drink they had.
It was good and delicious.
But paneer dosa was around 170rs, I didn’t feel that worth.
Great breakfast spot serving a massive array of idli. I particularly like the Masala uthapam which is rich, tomato and garlicy, podi idli, podi dosa and paddu. The tomato chutney is gorgeous too.
Highly recommend for idly lovers. Soft idly served with typical south indian sambar and three types chutney. Idly powder and gingelly oil provided with extra cost .
Very traditional atmosphere, from the wall paintings and photos felt historic.

It's an age old restaurant chain. Food is quite good. One should try their podi items. Personally I recommend ghee podi idli which is quite tasty. Service is below average especially during prime hours. There is no parking space. Prices are above average.

Crowded and busy. Very popular. Traditional style of service on banana leaf. Paniyaaram and sweet Pongal was the specialty of the day brought to the table vendor style by a lady carrying a freshly made batch every time. Place is small and have simple and old ambiance. Situated on the main road and easily accessible and located near to number of periamet hotels. Food quality is average and floor area is unclean. As continuous footfall in this hotel, they need to keep a person for continuous cleaning of the floor.
Murgan idli shop, the name itself mention idly is famous here. Super soft idly especially podi idly with ghee is ultimate. Multiple branches in chennai all are same quality and taste. Other than idly, dosa vaerity is awesome and good taste.

Went there after seeing lots of reviews and it was good. The service is fast , tried masala dosa and coffee and was really delicious. They serve some mindblowing chutneys along with dosa. Do try this place.
