Review Sri Krishna Sweets - Chennai (Madras)

Small shop nestled in the corner of a petrol station. Their supplies are limited but I have managed to get what I want when I go there. They need to use their AC .. on a hot summer day.. the place feels like a sauna.

Nice and polite staff. Even though it's small compared to other outlets of same franchise many products, especially packed sweets and savories for sale, are available and good. Better to go with a plan of what you want to buy.

It's a small outlet just next to a petrol pump, but the place is well stocked. The staff knows the product and doesn't shy away from providing free taste samples.

A good shop to get all the range of sweets .. though pricey the quality is awesome and they peddle only fresh items..

Lovely stuff... Very kind and welcoming staff

This is a smaller outlet. Their Maha Mithai is good. Go for the reasonably priced sweets for quality buys

Sweets and savors are good here. They also sell badam and rose milk which is very tasty. Good service.

Yummy sweet but one suggestion is items will be fresh at least 3 days.

Good food but crowded. Hardly 6 tables (24 chairs). A treat for north Indians.

Actually it's 3 🌟s.. This a small store of SKS, near my office so I tried there sweets on my way from office. It located just inside the IOC petrol pump on M G Road. I tried mixtures, milk sweets, moti ladoo and of course the 'MYSORE PAK'❀.. Mixtures r quite ordary for the price we r paying, nothing special about it.. Being a bangali myself, it's hard to impress me with milk sweet, SKS failed thereπŸ‘Ž.. Moti ladoo was vry dry n hard.. I hd btr laddo in Chennai.. But the only reason behind my repeated visit to this store is there delicious soft (literally melt in my mouthπŸ˜‹) MYSORE PAK..πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘. I gv 🌟🌟🌟 review rating only for the Mysor Pak..

While the products are what stands out the service is dismal. The store manager was busy discussing his personal affairs on the phone for the entire duration of 30minutes I was inside the store. The other staff at the store weren't able to guide me with regards to the products and were much inclined to sell the higher priced sweets to me. Now I do agree pitching products is important taking the customer for a ride is not. Maybe it was an error. I had asked for a basic box of Mysore pak, the staff gave me a designer box which included pictures of deities, I refused the same and asked for a normal packaging, the gentlewoman simply removed the box and stuffed my sweets inside a cover and billed me for the same price as the designer box, when I asked her about the plain box as per their menu ( which was priced way lower) she then reluctantly agreed and handed over a different packaging. Still having not billed me right, might I also add while I was billing my products and I ended up picking around 15 of them, they gladly stopped my bill for a customer who had just walked in. Wonderful products awful service.

Review based only on Mysore pak purchased from this branch. <br/><br/>This tiny little kiosk of Sri Krishna sweets is located inside the Indian oil Petrol bunk, Nungambakkam. Sitting inside the car, waiting for the Petrol to be filled saw this and my mind simultaneously went into the thought of their famous Melt in the mouth Mysore pak. The thought of it itself tempted me, so I Went in got a box of 6 pieces. <br/><br/>Definitely one of the best place to get Mysore pak. <br/><br/>

Not a big fan of these classic sweet shops!Β <br/><br/>The only reason I go to Sri Krishna sweets is for their delicious Baadam milk. I absolutely love it and I think it's the best in the city. They have made the packaging better by providing in bottles. They have also introduced the Rose flavour, but I am too carried away by the original to even try the new one.Β <br/><br/>I bought Thirattipal (Palgova) and some eats along this time. Didn't seem to disappoint. They also have bottled pickles and kozhumbos that I used to carry abroad. The shelf life is long and is convenient to take along.Β <br/><br/>Their outlets are extremely well kept and looks very hygienic, which are not very common in all sweet shops! A little bit on the pricey side, but worth the taste and quality.

This particular outlet is at a wAlking distance n obviously I have been here only like several times :p but it always managed to disappoint me. From the day 1 that is!<br/><br/>I have bought my sis all of their kaju n jamun offerings as she loves such sweets but not one time have I seen her give the thumbs up. Also, they never played to their strengths in the snacks front. The milkshakes n quick bites used to be horrible. So, I had stopped visiting them.<br/><br/>But today was different. We were hungry n had to run. So, entered the outlet half heartedly. The first thing that I noticed was that their milkshake blender was gone. Don't laugh when you read this, I was actually happy! After looking at their hot box, i ordered a samosa chenna n vada pav.<br/><br/>Both were put up together after the order, making them super hot. Former was good. Nothing to complain. But the Vada was weird n tasted as though it was on the verge of going stale. Pav was tasty as it had a generous coating of butter with beautiful aroma n toasted to golden color.<br/><br/>Not sure about the cost as I wasn't the one who paid. I just think that it was vfm :P

I'm judging this book only by its cover - I'm sure I have had other sweets from this place but there is nothing that comes to my mind but MYSORE PAK. Only on the basis of this I give them 5/5. How delicious are they? It truly melts in your mouth and as lays said 'no one can eat just one'<br/><br/>Romba Superaa !

If u r a mysorepauk lover .. Then i highly recommend u to try it here than else other place in city.. The SKC ppl brougth a revolution in mysore pauk called melting mysorepauk. Which is purely made of fresh ghee, and the moment it goes into our mouth it starts to melt. Even for janmastami they provide good savouries and sweets..
