I very rarely give a 5 star rating to any place. I've given it to this restaurant, and that says it all.
Located on the busy MG Road in Numgambakam, this vegetarian restaurant is part of a lodging hotel.
It's a mid size restaurant with a vintage theme, a blue fiat car on one side of the restaurant (yes, they have a table in the car, and you can have your meal sitting in the car too !) old typewriters, telephones etc. forming the decor. The interiors are done very tastefully & elegantly, though old skool type.
We ordered a variety of fare, starting with Manchow soup, and salt & pepper corn, schezwan noodles and ended with Biryani.
And believe me, every dish we ordered was very good.
Very good service, moderate serving portions, and prices that are on par with any good restaurant. On the whole, a very good experience.

Lovely place. The ambience is very warm. Ample space to accommodate around 40-50 people. Decor is just great especially the car seats. Car parking is not an issue as they have valet option. When it comes to food and quality it’s equally good. The best part this place has a big screen which allows some people to watch their favourite match or music videos. Overall the place is very much convincing for any individual to check out and enjoy a great meal.

The breakfast menu is actually a lunch menu. There is no good variety like no fruits except watermelon n papaya, I wanted apple /banana/ others. There is no Boiled eggs n grilled chicken which many people want in their breakfast diet as protein and in fact, no packed pickle. And less variety of breads available. Curd is just so kept with misery in a small vessel.<br/>The veg. Variety is again really missing completely. I had ordered dosa which was again not tasty.<br/>Though the restaurant looks really cool whereas if one is not getting good variety breakfast how come thats worth. Very disappointing service. Ordered a lemon soda + chilli paneer and crispy chilli baby corn. Got the lemon soda in 5 minutes. Took 30+ for the starters to arrive and when asked about it, the manager doesn't even move from the billing kiosk to give an answer. <br/><br/>When we asked them to cancel the dish and mentioned that we were leaving, there wasn't an apology of any sorts as well. The bill for the lime soda came in an instant. Sad.

Ambience is great. Fried baby corn was out of the world. The final lemon soda is a perfect finish. BUT I COULD NOT ACCEPT THE THE FACT THAT A LEMON SODA COSTS 99+12 tax INR112. If any others had the same experience please share.

Pls do not even step into this restaurant .. they do not know the meaning of respect ... staffs are all so rude .. no basic manners at all .. they all need a training as to how to treat a customer.. I had booked a table through easy diner for a dinner (2 pax)and got confirmation msg from them too .. but on entering the place I showed my msg and requested for a table.. they were like pls wait for 15 mins .. we waited.. a group of 6 came after us and they were given a seat .. on asking the same they were like if ur oly 2 then twill take half an hour time and he told that he doesn't has any booking in my name ... just bcos we were 2 he didn't give us a table and he preferred a group .. he didn't even reply us politely .. worst ever hospitality.. b4 starting a resto kindly ensure that ur staffs know how to handle customer.. I would give a rating which is less than 1 ... as there are no 0 marking nor a negative marking m giving a 1.. but this resto doesn't even deserve 1...

A veggie friendly place with so much to choose from!<br/>Thanks to my non veg unfriendly friend who took me here. We were a group of 6 people and felt the food could have been served a bit faster. Still, a must visit place. Especially to those vegetarians out there looking out for great food options.

They hold on to the name with their neatly done ambience !!<br/><br/>Have been to vintage kitchen quite a few times, each and every time this place never fails to Impress me, they have a decent menu and more Importantly most of their food is yumm !!<br/><br/>Their staff are courteous and they give us enough time to decide and they suggest when asked for.<br/><br/>As to what i have seen a photo with their vintage car set up is a must for every guest !!<br/><br/>Keep up your good work and vintage kitchen is one of my must go place !!

Their name is all about the ambience. A good vintage themed restaurant with dim lights, neat decor and live sports screening. There is a beautiful vintage car seating near the entrance. You can also find a lot of antique stuffs and miniatures from olden days - telephone and typewriters, filled around the restaurant.<br/>Coming to the menu, its more of Indian dishes. But yes, they do have good varieties of chinese and italian as well. The way they serve and present the dishes are interesting. I loved their starters. Their hariyali kebab is a special mention. The staff were friendly but need to be more knowledgeable about the menu.<br/>Overall, a classy and decent place for vegetarians. Worth the visit!!

It was a nice decent place..baby corn chilly were really good..i loved it..but the paneer tikka masala was ok and the sizzling brownie needs to be improved..it wasnot tht good..needs to be improved😊

Out of the world starters/appetizers.<br/>Must try all.<br/>This restaurant is pure vegetarian.<br/>They have a pallette of cusine.<br/>You can try pan fried noodles which were quite good.<br/>The staff is polite and service is good.<br/><br/>Their mojito and beverages were average.

Good food. Good ambience but the service is very very bad. My friend and me visited this place. I was told to get up since there was no extra chairs. The hotel was full. Later since I didn't have water my glass was taken. The tissues were taken! Not an adviceble place because of the service. Not a good management of the place

Limited dessert options and not scrumptious, a bit on the expensive side. Sizzling brownie tasted bitter and was burnt, a bad aftertaste was felt.
