Located near ashok pillar . Their Breakfast Mini tiffin combo is worth 😋 which has Pongal, 1 Vada, Mini Masala Dosa, 1 Idly and sweet🤤 For ₹60 . Ambience is good 🤩

Food was good. Parking was a hassle and total delay in delivery of food to table. Management should look at staffs attitude & educate on how to handle users and take orders in a proper way. Bill was not provided stating the machine broke. Overall, try food but forget a great service

Pretty decent fare, earlier there used to be Sangeetha in the same place. The vegetarian dishes are very good and easily accessible in the heart of the city. Many thalis are available. South Indian/North Indian/ Mumbai etc. Parking is tricky but could be managed. Expensive or not expensive depends on one's pocket. I had Mumbai thali and it was awesome. We were three friends. Highly recommended for vegetarian food.

Nice breakfast menu. You need to try Breakfast combo which comprises almost all south Indian tiffin varieties except poori and all that costs just Rs 50.It comes with tea or coffee. For Dinner you must try chettinad combo or adai avaiyal for veg delight.

Sangeeta Desi mane name has been changed to Shree Mahas due to franchise change. The management and staffs are same. Food is nice and good. Rest room facility and lift facility is available. Parking facility is available for max 10 cars and if the parking is full we have to leave on the main road. Nice hangout for family.

A great place for vegetarians. Do make your reservations before if you are going there with big group. We had to wait for a long time just to get the table. The staff tried their best to make the arrangements as quickly as possible and orders were quickly served once we were seated. Almost all the dishes that we ordered were perfect. Nothing to complaint about. They also have a big party hall next to the dining place.

Our experience at Sangeetha Desi Mane was quite pleasant. They have a covered car park. The ground floor is for parcel and the air conditioned dining area is on the first floor. We had the quick lunch and regular South Indian meals. The quick lunch might be a bit small for people with healthy appetites but the food was delicious. We also had the rose falooda. That was the highlight of our meal. The place is cost effective as well.

Had vegetarian lunch, little bit costly but taste was good. Hospitality is very good and number of dishes are more. Finally payasam taste awesome. Extra side dishes will be served. Extra rice also be given. More crowd will be there so be prepared based on that. Located in main so easy to identify. Breakfast mini tiffin 50 rs with inclusive of coffee and Vada.

They have North Indian curries small for 1 or 2 person. Which is pocket friendly. Combos 60 rs breakfast- value for money. Variety healthy dinner available.

Good hotel for morning breakfast Mini Tiffin)with Idli, Vada, dosa, Pongal, Sweet and coffee ( mini).at an unbelievable price of Rs 60/. This is available from 7am- 11am. So those who are going early as well taking breakfast late can enjoy this. Good taste.

The entrance needs definite attention. You have to think twice to enter the elevator to reach the restaurant in the first floor. There's neither signboard near the elevator nor bright lighting. After reaching the first floor also entering the restaurant, you will take a moment to think, since the corridor is badly maintained. Don't know the frequent customers may never bother on this. Service is quick and polite. They provide extra small cup of rice without a word and no extra money billed for it. Wish them to make these changes to have more business. Regards

This restaurant would be a go to place if you want have a decent food. You have a variety of choice. The ambience at Ashok Nagar branch needs to be impoved.

My first preference is this restaurant as it maintains consistent quality. Good value for money. Ordered idli breakfast which was good neatly packaged. Even lunch options are good here. But this restaurant is not available on zomato for ordering most of times though available competitor platform.

One of the best places for a proper veg (& veg only) food with uniqueness in every dish. Since it was lunchtime went after the TN and Mumbai meals. I’ve also had my hands their evening dishes.<br/><br/>Food:<br/>Mysore Bonda – Good sized heavy bondas which were slightly saltier but along with the dips they were good; well-cooked, plumpy, soft and heavy enough to fill the tummy<br/>Sambar Vada – Perfect dish for any evening; the gravy was wholesome with good spices and veggies; the vada was soft and was saturated on the whole, WOW<br/>Ghee Podi Dosa – The aroma of the dosa was pulling in as I ripped it apart; soft, rich in the butter and the smell was arousing<br/>-LUNCH-<br/>Papad and tomato soup were for the starters which were good, to begin with;<br/>TN meals – The plate had 2 veggies, rasam, sambar, kurma, dal, chapati, curd with unlimited refills of the rice. Almost every item had its own signature taste to it among which sambar stood out. Though I had no complaints about any dish, in particular, this was just tummy-filling<br/>Mumbai meals – For the Mumbai meals it was a sweet, rotis, paratha, 2 gravies, salad and curd rice. My mother's birthday .. needed to be a special place out .. that was purely vegetarian .. hence this place figured on top of the probable list .. since we were already been and seen a lot of Saravana bhavan ..<br/><br/>Ordered mumbai thali .. the thalis arrived in pretty quick time .. there was panner butter masala .. aloo paratha .. curd rice .. raitha .. roti and naan .. the taste of all the curries were very good .. would have loved jalebi instead of jamun .. to make the mumbai stamp more authentic ..<br/><br/>The other south indian thalis were also good in terms of taste and quality .. daughter ordered for fried rice and manchurian ..<br/><br/>On the whole .. a good find .. nice place for family eat out

Sangeetha' desi mene's plain ghee dosa costing 110 rupees per piece was poor quality by being very salty.  Zomato should not stop with getting orders and delivering. They should compel restaurants to improve quality. Customers are paying high prices which are ever increasing.

I had tried in multiple outlets of Sangeetha and still continuing only because of taste and quality but Sangeetha desi mane is surprisingly no where close to the other branches.Extremely disappointed with taste and quality of food and it’s unacceptable ,when they charge your an exorbitant rate but provide the worst food.I wish the management realise the same and make necessary changes to improve the standard of food provided to customers.I have experienced the taste of worst food for the third time in a row in this particular outlet.

We've always had pretty good experiences at this place. But one third rate experience made it all quite forgettable. We had ordered Garlic Naan and Malai Kofta. The garlic naan was pretty much up to the mark. But the Malai Koftha was worst I had ever tasted. The gravy tasted like turmeric was mixed with water and boiled and the koftha was literally a potato bonda. Just ONE piece was served,not that it left us wanting for more. The worst dish was the Masala Parotta which was clearly made at the final moment after we waited for half an hour and complained. The Parotta was rubbery and definitely not even half cooked. It tasted like sambar had been added to the pieces of Parotta, tossed hastily and served. The entire experience is an enormous thumbs down.

One of the best restaurants for vegetarians. It provides a hell lot of variety of food . Decent ambience and staff. Not that much expensive. And don't forget to try the 50 RS breakfast offer<br/>

I frequently order from this place through Swiggy & Uber. Really tasty and quality food. Discount Coupons "Add" an unique flavour to the food. Best quality ingredients speak for themselves. Offers even Sambar, Rasam, Koottu, Poriyal, etc., individually. This makes holidays, more relaxing. Just cook rice alone and have a great traditional food at home.

Food has excellent taste we love sangeetha desi.<br/><br/>We need to highlight our problem with zomato . The above said purchase was done and made the payment by cash and enjoyed the food also .for our next order while placing to any order the old order value is added and asking the full payment for the same. So we are unable to place the order further if you cleared the same will be better.

If u order food in Zomato pls check the items.Becoz twice Sangeetha had not send the correct items.They had missed and nothing done by Sangeetha and Zomato.Also quality of food doesn't remain same as u dine at restaurant

Our lunch experience at Sangeetha Desi Mane was quite pleasant. They have a good parking space and air conditioned dining halls. We ordered the quick lunch and the regular limited meals. My suggestion is that, if you have a healthy appetite, the quick lunch may not be for you. Although the plate is huge, I found the portion size to be extremely small (for my appetite) and wasn’t quite full even after the meal. However, it tasted quite delicious. The regular South Indian meals had a bigger portion and it was tasty as well. We also got a small rose falooda. That was the highlight of the meal. It was very flavourful and was a welcome respite after the summer heat. Going through the menu at this place, I understand that anything you might ask for, in addition to what’s on your plate may be charged extra. So if you are dining here, do not mistake it for other restaurants and be tempted to ask for extra sambar or poriyal as you may be charged for it!

One of the best and busiest chain serving pure vegetarian restaurants and the taste is absolutely good and the flavour definitely tempt you to try out more . never bored of the south Indian and north Indian here 😍

The dine in experience has always been awesome. Bit pricey for the quantity, but the quality and taste is always maintained great. Take away meals is a great option with nice packing.

They don't have any items which are in menu and have Idly, Dosa and Chapati only for dinner. If you want to eat Idly, Dosa and Chapatti why bother to come to hotel, eat at home only

Very tasty food, decent ambience. Staff appear over-worked and under-trained. Very slow customer service. The restaurant usually received a heavy footfall. So not a place for lengthy and cosy conversations.

I had ordered 3 sets of poori.. they had delivered without any side dish ...even I called and complained about it to restaurant.... they said we'll check it.. but they hadn't called back about issue.. very worse

Bad service. Placed an order in a nearby restaurant. 2 hours later, we didn't receive the food. He called me up and told me that there was a server problem, so the bill could not be prepared. And the food was still being prepared, because of which the delivery would take another 30 minutes. We cancelled the order and ordered on swiggy. After ordering on swiggy, the zomato guy called us up and said the food was ready. He asked us if we wanted the delivery.

My first visit, was there with family last Saturday for lunch. Nice place for veggies and foodies. <br/>Felt main course quantity was less for its price, but dishes are Delicious.<br/>It will be good if large quantity dishes fill our stomach. Food is very good. Food is homely food.especially poriyal is very good. They need to improve packing quality.sweet quantity to be increased.

We ordered food for a birthday party from here. While the food tasted good and guests liked the food, the food was delivered over 90 mins late. We had emphasized while ordering we needed food to be delivered by 1230. Despite the managers assurance, they were late in delivering and delivery person came only after 2 pm. It was difficult to reach the restaurant to get an update on delivery. Additionally, they forgot to deliver raitha which was supposed to come with veg biryani. It was not an extensive order with a few food items and hard to imagine how they can get it so wrong. After this experience of very poor customer service and reliabilty, one has to think twice about using this place for party orders.

Perfect vegetarian restaurant in Chennai. Yummy food and never bites your pocket. They have wide options in their menu for both South Indian and North Indian food. Best restaurant when in doubt. My husband and I had been here several times and we both love the food here.<br/>

I had been here mostly during my lunch and it was a good experience and I always used t have executive meals when I crave to have more! Keep up your quality that’s your selling point.

Had Vegetable dum Briyani.Man What a taste, its a paradise for vegetarians who need to taste classic briyani, not too spicy, not too hot. The raitha they served was out of the world. So  at the end its worth every single penny.

Pretty good prices, decent food and excellent service and quite active staff at the crappy parking space. Food is near authentic with a vast menu. Try any fresh juice there with specific instructions on sugar and then I bet it is one of the best made around this place.

When our business guests from Delhi who wanted to have  "real" South Indian Vegetarian food, we opted for this place in Ashok Nagar. Sangeetha is a brand that has maintained its standards while some others have slipped badly..<br/><br/>We stuck to south Indian and had two Tamilnadu meals, one limited meal, a sambar vadai and a masala dosai.  The Tamilnadu meals, which had something like twenty items, was difficult to do justice to ! The limited meal was easier to manage. <br/><br/>Each item was very good and we really enjoyed the food.<br/><br/>The service was friendly and efficient. The ambiance was neat and nice but not lavish.

Excellent lunch at affordable cost when compared to other restaurants of the same grade. People of local neighbourhood often visit this place due to the closure of HSB. Good quality food. A family oriented place for food.

Food was good. But, I had ordered Chapathi which was glaringly missing. And so was sweet as well.

1.Normal madrasi meal must contain good quality sambar and rasam. We received Veg. Kurma and tomato soup.<br/>2. Papad missing<br/>3. Sweet was chakkarai pongal but actually black jaggery rice with out cashew or grapes.<br/>Less said is better.<br/>Wll never order meals from S D M.

One of the best place for south indian veg,their north indian food was not disappointing either. The prices seems to be reasonable since the portion was good enough for the price, though fresh juice prices seems to be on higher side -too little for the exorbitant price tag.
