Review Chef's Paradise - Chennai (Madras)

One of my favourite place in my List initially my friend suggested this place and we both visited this place , uk what i really felt in love with the dishes. The flavour are new to experience and dishes are really worth the price. The price is upto the quality My one favourite dish is bread fried chicken, it's always my top dish here and comes chicken roll , the sauce used here is to the next level Atmosphere: the overall atmosphere is calm and peaceful here! As a family wonderful times can be spent here!!!

Visiting here yesterday was more of a nostalgic moment.. 7-8 years i still remember when they ve inaugurated in ghill nagar in a small one room shop as a small restaurant but with quality food, myself and my GF then (obviously wife now) would visit here often. Owner - Prabu and his wife would greet us with their welcome and more than food, it was always good fee to visit chef Paradise. then we got married and visit here as a couple and also as family. My wife just loves the potato wedges offered here since then. My favourite is the Patty chicken burger served with American onion chip. This was best ever burger i ve ever had!!! (Now they offer burger with french fries). These would be regular orders apart from others. When my wife was pregnent with our 1st child, she would often pesture me to take here for the potato wedges!!! As a restaurant they grown and moved to bigger place in ghill nagar (current restaurant location) we used to visit here regularly. No matter what, each and every time owner would personally inquire us and make sure we had a good time. 4 years back we moved outside the city and years later visited here with my wife, daughter and son and also my MIL. Still owners remembered us and we were very happy visiting here again.. As usual food was awesome and my wife had not one but TWO potato wedges. But I did not order burger since my daughter did!!!! Owner remembered this and inquired why didn't i order the burger😂😂. Overall we had good time and here are some pics as well.

Lip smacking food leaves you wanting for more!! Please don't miss the crab specialties and the biriyani. And also the chef's toasted chicken!

This is a place that has been around for a while in Choolaimedu and is a great place to eat. Extremely trustworthy and the food is delicious. The chef special foods are the best of the lot and must be ordered. The kitchen is open till about 10:30 PM. Drop in and enjoy your fill 😁

This place is like a home and the food served is tasty, hygienic and reasonably priced. Special mention to the owner and the staff who always take care of the customers well.

The food is too too good.....the food and place the place is quiet pleasant....but the only error of this place serving the food sometimes late and sometimes too late...once again the food topnanch.... 🤩🤩🤩🔥🔥

Ate gratin...totally cheesy..saucy..oowey, gowey thing. Chefs special fried chicken was quite salty but the taste was quite new. Pizza was good the crust could have been even thicker and crispier. But the disappointment is the restaurant had become old and the seating had torn out...overall it was good

Best taste and best menu, I used to come here since the day 1 of chefs paradise started. Chef Prabhu is creative and social personality. Ambience is good. We give party order regularly here for my daughter’s birthday. My favorite here is chef roasted chicken and fish finger with specially made mayo available only in chefs paradise Fish finger here is not a packed frozen food, It is made from fresh fish and not like most of the restaurants and cafe which make fish finger from frozen packed one. @Prabhu keep up the good taste and quality always. Paradise indeed especially for protein lovers. The crab is delicious and left us licking our fingers in awe. Loved their special chicken dish too. And I am eager to see their upcoming changes in ambience, from what I heard!

Amazing service with developing ambience. Comes with bit steep pricing. While I visited some things I felt uncomfortable were 1) Their inventory was stored in the mid hall. 2) point 1 makes me doubt cleanliness... Other than these. I'm much satisfied with their services, food and facilities.

Food's Paradise!

Ordered the chicken caesar salad. The taste was a bit too sweet fr my liking. But the packaging was neat and tidy.

I had ordered mushroom alfredo pasta , i took few bites. When i was about take another bite , i saw a huge plastic piece ! When i searched inside the food , i found many bits of plastic. I realised that i had eaten bits of plastic . Will never order here again.

This cafe is near my home,food is good and worth the money , service and ambience not good , its family run small time cafe.i come back for the taste .<br/>

One of the good north Indian restaurant...<br/>Starters french fries , garlic bread were super.<br/>Nan panneer butter masala was also too good..<br/><br/>Actually I was statisfied with almost all dishes.. only thing is it's difficult to explain to the waiter of what choice we want.. they can't understand English much.

My third time visit to cafe chefs paradise. Never disappointed by the chef's always awesome. Had mutton briyani and lollipop. It becomes my family restaurant. It takes little time for service but it's ok for the taste they giving.

Order egg fried rice no sauce provided more carrot and beetroot added which makes veg fried rice. Grill chicken was semi boiled not able to eat. Feeling bad I have ate many times in the hotel this is worst. Not sure why this happens?

The peak summer season seems to have affected my metabolism in a quirky way, am constantly hungry!<br/>So to appease the pre dinner hunger pangs we decided to order a ' snack' from this cafe.<br/>I have not heard about this place but dear hubby decided to give it a try.<br/>We got a half grilled chicken, chicken club chicken and fish n chips.<br/>The club sandwich was several triangles of layered deliciousness, the creamy chicken ,tomatoes,lettuce and fried egg sandwiched between toasted bread came together really well and was very filling too.<br/>The fish was good and had a perfectly browned , crumb layer .<br/>It came with thin cut French fries and sbtub of dip which frankly I didn't even open because there were only 4 pieces in the portion and we all got to eat only one piece.<br/>The grilled chicken looked very appetising, reddish in colour and glistening.<br/>This came with two slices of bread(?), and potato wedges.<br/>Sadly this was one dish that looked better than it tasted, it was dry and way too spicy.<br/>The overkill of the spice masked the other spices in the mix.<br/>It seemed like an attempt to indianize the dish which led to the total mess.<br/>Overall I would definitely order the sandwich again and maybe try other stuff from their rather extensive menu.<br/>I would have scored them 3.5 but that option is not open now.

Seem to be feeling hungry all the time. I think my metabolism has been tweaked by the summer heat.<br/>I had never heard of this place but going through some reviews decided to give it a try and ordered a quick snack.<br/><br/>Ordered Chicken Club Sandwich, Fish Finger and Grilled Chicken.<br/><br/>The club sandwich had a layer of chicken , lettuce, tomato slices, fried egg with mayo. It was very good but eating it was messy.<br/><br/>Fish finger was quite good but there were only 4 pieces in it  with french fries. The grilled chicken  was with skin and came with potato wedges and a slice of bread. The grilled chicken was quite dry and not juicy. It was dusted liberally with spices and  quite spicy with a tang. Maybe the spices drew out the juiciness out of the chicken.The bread helped in toning down the spiciness. The package came with a small bag of Lays chips. Cost came to 570.

Very bad, Please ingore this restaurant, i went there with my family for Buffet...but it is limited and all items are not displayed, for each dish they will take 30 mis to cook and their service is also very bad, Biriyani was full of salt and Fish cury was totally bad...especially one old man's behavior from the management  is very rude and harsh..i wasted my money..they charged 680 rupees for the clildren below 12 years also...

It was by far the best place. Love the new ambience . The food is great and has always been great. It’s been like 6 years and I’ve been going there since it started. The quality has never been compromised. Best place. Buffet on Sunday is also great .

I ordered food from this place for the first time today through Food Panda. i ordered, chili chicken, chicken rice and veg noodles. I must say that the preparation was too good, the food was so tasty and good to the eyes. the average price charged was Rs100, which I believe is genuine for this kind of service 😊👍. highly recommended.

We went there for a team lunch.. even though we booked the place 2 days back, nothing was arranged and the room was not ventilated properly.. we all were sweating and took time to settle down itself.. then the food they served was very slow. only one waiter was serving for 12 people both veg and non veg.. this took a longer time.. almost 3 hours.. now coming to the buffet food taste.. we can say food was ok and not super and all.. overall a below average experience

Worst experience, Went there for take away order . Ordered for 1 chicken rice and noodle's (both non-spicy white style) and dragon chicken. Order billed at 8:46 pm and delivered at 9:25 pm took literally 40 min :-( worst part is they parcelled both chicken rice and noodle's spicy one. Never visit again.

Got a pizza delivered from here and I was actually pretty surprised! For the price, the pizza tastes pretty decent. In fact, it tastes better that a few mainstream pizza places ;) The home delivery is pretty quick too. Worth a try. :P

Was awsm liked dragon paneer nd fish chilli, good atmosphere, was neat n clean but serving time is quite high they should have a control on it and one person should stay in each cabin to serve water and shouldnt leave customer alone they might need something or order something.

My husband and I used to frequent this restaurant when they had buffet with unlimited grills.. delicious and tender grilled fish were my favorite.. wish they would bring it back at least for special occasions.. recently we had pasta and grilled prawns.. for the price paid the quantity and quality of food is really good.. they do have some confusion in service every time we visit but they are courteous so am not going to complain.. a decent place for dinner with family..

I usually never go to the restaurants suggested by my best friend because he has the uncanny ability of selecting 'fancy titled lame restaurants'. <br/><br/>Food was pathetic. Fish fries were extremely oily and were served with a weird sauce. A pasta was served which seemed to be loaded with 'haldi'. <br/><br/>Wonder how such food gets served. <br/>

Honestly I didn't like this place so much. I think they converted a house into a restaurant café kind of thing. The waiters can't understand acting you say. The air conditioning doesn't work. The good is ok though. I'd avoid the place.

Horrible Horrible Horrible.. I ordered a spicy chicken pizza as a take away and I thought I'll drop a review with the frustration I have after tasting it.. Who on earth makes a pizza with a bread base ? This intelligent chef makes..see the picture.. And this cost me 217approx and he told me its a large.. See picture 2 to compare with my hand size.. And the best part is.. He bloody made the spicy pizza with a sweet bread base.. Jesus Christ.. Yes these are guys for real and they will make you wild beast once you eat their dish.. Fries with no salt no pepper just the potato fried for 77rps.. May be it is a chefs paradise but definitely not customers paradise.. 1star because that's the least.. I would like to give negative ..

Good tasty spicy reasonably priced food. Gave me a fix of Indian Chinese food which I haven't had in a long time. Enjoyed their dragon prawns, chilli chicken and noodles. Situated in a remodelled exterior of a residence, so not restaurant ambience, good for takeaway or a quick bite.

I've loved the variety here.Different taste compared to other places.Located close to my home makes it even more comfortable for me.Ive always loved their custom sauces.

It was a Home delivery and they were on time,  Ordered for Butter chicken and finally had the Tandoori chicken dipped in the masala, Further the Naan was very hard to chew. Paradise needs to keep up their name

The Alfredo Chicken Mushroom Pasta tasted really good. We ordered Chicken fingers for starters. Two of the chicken fingers were burnt a little. But the accompanying sauces tasted awesome.  The mango milkshake did not have the taste of real mangoes. Tasted as if some squash was used for making the milkshake. We packed some bread crumbs chicken as it is supposed to taste good. Music was there.  Ambiance was neat.

Worst Fried Rice i ever had ... i took a Takeaway from Chefs Paradise on 1-9-2016 , The Chef who made the Fried Rice Burnt the whole thing down and gave me a Crappy piece of Shitty Rice .. This people never take care of the Food .. they should be shut down !! <br/>

This is one of the restaurants I used to visit frequently in Choolaimedu almost  for about 2yrs until last December. Then I was out of country and visited the place yesterday. Sorry to say I had a very bad appetite. I have almost tasted all of their dishes during my earlier visits, thy were actually up to the mark/very reasonable and I myself have recommended lots of my known circle. But now the quality have gone down to 2 out of 10. We have ordered Spicy garlic bread - 4 out of 10. Napolitana Gratin - 3 out of 10. Mutton Biriyani - 0 out of 10(only 2-3 small chunks of meat was there) in short horrible . And there wr very less number of waiters to attend ur needs. We were totally upset. <br/><br/>I think you guys seriously have to work on it on the whole

Looling at it from the outside it seems like a decent restaurant to walk in and when yu actually go inside its a pretty comforting place. Its neat and the food is amazing as well. They keep it simple but the flavours are amazing and the quantity is big too. I have tasted their chicken biriyani and chilli chicken and the biriyani had so much flavour in it that i must appreciate. Curious to try out other dishes soon.

A good place to dine if you just care about the food. A great place for Italian cuisine around. It is not recommended for spicy buds and people who need ambiance. The floor space is a lot less and do not expect privacy. Few can think, after all these, why am I rating 3.5.. It is because of their white sauce pastas(Excellent mold of cheese). You ought to taste them if you ever go there.

Quite place with a dead ambience. It is clean but some music would definitely help. The layout is almost like a house with the buffet table in the hall and seating in the rooms. We ordered a variety of north Indian dishes and a chicken sub. It took a good 15mins for the food to arrive but it seemed worth the wait. Food was fresh and tasted very good. Quantity of each dish was good for 3 semi hungry adults and the pricing for them weren't too bad. They got good car parking space which is always a plus.

Good food. Fries tend to get a bit soggy as do the batter fried chicken. May be they need to be double fried to stay crispy? The containers have changed!? I liked the plastic boxes over the cardboard boxes. Ordered sheesh kabab, Caesar salad, fried chicken and pasta. All were tasty!!!

Food tastes okay here. Never ever order food for home delivery takes ages to reach you. Nearly took two hours to reach me. If you would like to ruin a perfect evening do go ahead and order home delivery. Good Luck 😂

This place had the city's best and cheap buffet with unlimited grill for starters then suddenly they stopped it. Very very disappointed with their choice. Their food is good, dont get me wrong, but the highlight was their buffet, now this has nothing special.

Ordered through Zomato.. Food was delivered almost 1:30 hrs after placing the order with an apology token of a "LAYS" packet, I can't understand what they were thinking.. Ordered a Chicken Club Sandwich, Cold Coffee, Chocolate with Lava, Gulab Jamoom.. Believe me or not, each and everything was horrible.. I still feel a vomiting sensation after having that Sandwich.. The so called Cake was the worst cake I've ever had in my life, Gulab Jamoon was bad, The cold coffee, please don't order that ever from here in your life, it will ruin your love of coffee.. Definitely not going to order again.. Worst experience.. Thank you Chef's Paradise, consider have an appropriate name change..

Ordered for home delivery from these folks. Almost took an hour though we barely live 10 mins away. <br/><br/>Coming to the food that ruined a perfectly good Friday night. There was something called the chefs special pasta which I ordered safely assuming it will be the best. It was horrible. It reeked of turmeric and chilli powder. God knows what they were thinking. The pizza was hard, undercooked and the tomato sauce smelled of rotten tomatoes. <br/><br/>Oh and they also sent is burnt fish fingers -- literally black on colour. I hate this place.

Situated near Gill nagar, this restaurant/cafe offers good parking. There is a huge seating area but I have never found this place crowded during both my visits. Their home delivery is quick and good. The food here is ok and nothing extraordinary. During my first visit we ordered the Grilled chicken and during my second time I ordered Chef's roast chicken. We were given the same chicken during both the visits irrespective of their different names. However the chicken tasted ok. The pricing is very good. Quality of food served is very bad.

Had a craving for pasta,and wanted something really quick,chef's paradise popped up on the search bar and upon ordering the pasta rossa gratin I was delighted and pleasantly surprised by the quality,quantity and fast delivery by them. Now I'm a regular at chef's. And their pasta is something worth trying out.@srinivasan ramanathan.

I had the worst experience at this place and never went back here again. We ordered some pasta and a pizza. They left us starving. We got up to leave just as the food arrived. The food was just average.

I ordered club chicken sandwich. But believe me it was the worst sandwich i ever had.<br/><br/>1. They quote in their menu about using fresh home made bread but actually they served stale bread and it was literary stinking. <br/>2. They have quoted in the menu they will add crunchy chicken as stuffing in the sandwich but it was just a boiled chicken without any flavor<br/>3. I got it delivered in 2 small boxed and sandwich were completely scrambled shape.<br/>4. The only flavor they added was of black pepper.<br/><br/>Guys sorry to say but please don't fool customers. This is the second time that you guys have served me mess. Same thing happened with pasta and that time i haven't reacted..... <br/><br/>If you are not apt of delivering some thing just learn to say no. We avoid road side restaurant just to have a better taste and hygienic food. But this is for the second time in the row that you guys have failed to deliver.

They have a decent dining space and their service is very good. <br/><br/>I always order chicken fried rice and Dragon chicken here. I tried the other chicken dishes and I kinda liked the Dragon chicken better. Their shakes are often dilute. I even told them once when I ordered a chocolate shake and they were at least good enough to change it. They also had an exclusive buffet place nearby but I haven't tried it.

Well.. To be frank.., The restaurant really disappointed me! On my very own interest I walked in! The service was not more than average! Infrastructure and hygiene must be enhanced!

I was craving for it so much that I logged into zomato, searched with delivery restaurants in Choolaimedu, opened the first result, checked their menu, called them and placed my orders. I didn't give any second thought to any of my decisions.<br/><br/>What I ordered? Cheesy garlic bread and mushroom alfredo pasta.<br/>* Cheesy garlic bread: There were 5 slices of breads in it. Comparatively smaller in size. Came with a mayo dip. Garlic bread with the dip tasted decent but the bread was cold and soggy. And hence it dint feel cheesy at all.<br/>* Mushroom alfredo pasta: Pasta came in a real good portion and it was hot. Looked really creamy, just the way I wanted to be. But tastewise, it was very okayish. I expected it to taste better by the looks.<br/><br/>It was delivered within 30mins. Minimum charges for delivery is 200 INR and both of the dishes came to 265 bucks. Reasonable enough but taste can definitely be improved.

Hearing about the great reviews of this place we tried it out for dinner!! <br/>The tables were not cleaned even though the restaurant was empty! And we were seated in a room where we had to go out and call the waiters every time we wanted something..<br/>And the sub we ordered had 3 hidden toothpicks which will poke into your mouth while you eat.. It's a deadly sub! Even though we complained about it they didn't do much.. <br/>

Food taste- 5.0. My personal favourite was white sause pasta. The only drawback was the poor service. We had a tough time with the waiter. Hotel also falls in the pocket friendly category to a extent.

While searching for best dine for bestie treat!! One eye cachy restaurant on the road!! That's how got to have dinner! Must try out mixed white and red sauce pasta!! Good tasted one after long time.. Cost was acceptable!! :)

Better late than never. I've been having food from this super amazing place for two years and finally thought of reviewing it. It's just you know that one place that bodes well for both your pocket and taste buds. And this is me being a vegetarian who's saying such stuff about it. My friends who have non veg, they just go gaga over it even more. Prices are reasonable. Ambience is neat too. If you're getting the food delivered then too they send it within promised time mostly. Pick of the lot is garlic breads, white creamy pasta, ceaser salad, Italiano pizzas. Burgers are heavily stuffed too and so are their sandwiches. I won't recommend their desserts though. So just gonna cut off that one point. Other than that, it's phenomenal. Must try it if you're nearby.

Went for lunch and ordered Pasta. It's a small place and has six tables to seat 4 each. Food was good! When the bill came, the amount was higher than the menu card. When enquired, they said it is the cost for non veg Pasta! So, eat well and before you pay, check the bill.

Totally disappointed with their delevery , having read so many good reviews I chose to order , but my bad luck , the food was delivered late (almost one and half hour ) from choolaimedu to Kodambakkam !!<br/><br/>*when called the restaurant that my order was given one hour ago and I'm yet to receive , they couldn't even be sorry for their delay , instead being so rude that it will reach in five mins and hung the call !! <br/><br/>*and I've ordered for a spicy mushroom rice and in the box it was mentioned the same too , but noodles were given instead of rice. <br/><br/>* my zomato order bill says it was 372 but the guy who delivered shows a bill of 382 , when asked he said it was Delevery charges. ( it's not about the extra 10rs I'm worried , I personally would have tipped him ) but why there are two different bills provided ?

Have a brunch consisting of their cheese pasta and double decker burger. Surely you wud b set for the day, feeling content for spending 300 bucks wisely

Neeeevvvveeerrrrr ordering here again.... Never! Evvvverrrr.... I cannot believe I said that. Coz, this place gave me the best food and the worst food. Lately, not very nice food. The worst part is when I decided to share it. What is more embarrassing than sharing food that tastes nothing like food? Good bye Cafe Chefs Paradise!!!

On a hungry Friday eve browsed some places to order food. Finally found this near my house. I ordered tomato bruschetta, paneer roll and Napolitano gratin. Every dish was tasty and was well packed. Especially the tomato bruschetta was mouth watering. It is a pocket friendly place for a nice evening hangout with friends.
