Review Shree Mithai - Chennai (Madras)

Priyanka Gunasekharan
Okay, loved the experience at the nungambakkam Sree Mithai. You are surrounded by all your favourites, Start with Sweet and Savoury section, so many options to choose from. Then you choose ‘Samosas, cutlets, Mirchi Vada’s, move on to ‘Chaat section’ and finish of with ‘Pastry’ section- Amazing section. My orders here: Pani Puri ofcourse, Sev Puri, Cutlets, Mirchi Vada, Samosa Channa Chaat annnd a Butterscotch/Caramel Pastry. They all tasted soo good, you may keep wanting to repeat your order. I gazed few other tables and ‘Chola Puri and Pav Bhaji’ was a hit too. Must visit when you’re in the area. Pricing was humble ☺️

If you are a sweet lover, do not miss this place. I'm sure you'll also like this place. They have varieties of sweet options along with pastries, savouries, namkeens, etc. My all time favourite is their badam milk. One of the best I've ever had. I make it a point to visit this place for badam milk whenever I am in Chennai. Parking place is also available (shared parking, within the complex). Usually this place is crowded.

Yes the place dishes out sweets and savoury like no one's business... it's a no no place for diabetics and weight watchers... what am I saying...all you people who want to know what Indian sweets and savoury are..then this is the go to place. Clean and great food..!! You will definitely get a sugar rush..I did... couldn't help myself gorge myself on some of the sweet delicacies despite being diabetic... but indulging once in a while is okay..I think... or is it doctors?

I just went in there for a quick bite and me and my mom had ordered a veg cutlet and a sev Puri and we took some khakra back home for a snack and being a huge lover of khakra I loved the flavours. I got peri peri and methi and it was very soft and crispy.

One of the best place for sweet lovers. they have a good variety of sweets. most of the time they refill the sweets very quickly and also best place for buying snacks. good to go store for taste and also for their quality. Overall Good

Quality & variety of sweets. Tastes Good. Price wise little costlier. Prime location & you could see good rush in the weekends. Kaju Kathi 1040 per kg Kaju Roll 1140 per kg Badam Kathli 1420 per kg Kaju Chocolate Burfi 1140 per kg
Harihar Karthik
This place is a Friday Evening snacking paradise. Just when I thought only Indian snacks are available, I saw delicious donuts and finest cakes available. Bread Pakora and Paneer Grilled Sandwich are the must try from here. The dine-in areas are well lit and immediately cleaned (unlike in Ajnabi). This deserves a larger seating area.

Yummy yummy chaat, traditional North Indian sweets and savouries in the most hygienic way possible in Chennai

A very popular snack and sweetest outlet, spreading around Chennai. A one stop shop for Diwali sweets both for home and gifting. Popular source for corporate gifting retail and bulk. Specialising in North Indian varieties, they also have cakes and Bengali sweets. Very clean Parking available. Definitely a 'must try' !

Just in the heart of the city. Nungambakkam. Beside Hotel Park. A neat and clean place. Lots of varieties of sweets as well as evening snacks and breakfast can be found here. It's a self service counter. Choose, pay and get your food. Super standard maintained in food quality as well as the packed food items. You can choose lots of sweets from one place. I have never found this place empty, always with customers. Though they have many outlets this remains my favourite.
Sanjana
Visited them on a Monday afternoon to satisfy some chaat cravings. Tried their Pani puri, panneer Pattice, veg spring roll. The pani puri was amazing. The panneer Pattice was a little dry. The spring roll was made of noodles and not vegetables. But it did taste okay. Apart from sweets and snacks, they also have cupcakes, cakes and other baked goods.
Raja Sundar
Prime location but small space for dining. A family should wait to get a table. Sweets and snacks were a treat to taste buds. Chat items were of great quality. Only Self service. Parking available.
Madona David
Best North Indian snacks everrr!!! Pani puri ( golgappa ) are just wow😍 Jalebi was served hot and drizzled with syrup ☺️ Its self service here and has huge space for parking. The place can be extended a bit seems a bit too small for the people to sit. Price is affordable. Best spot to spend your evenings here !! 😇
Vinod Paranthaman
Used to be an outstanding mithai outlet. Quality has deteriorated over the last one year. Although the packaging has improved the stuff inside has become worse. Quality checks need to be moreover stringent. They might have overstretched themselves with too many branches.
Ankush Jain
Went with family. Grill sandwich was just okay. Bhel poori was good and chole bhature is always good. Forgot to take dahi poori pic. Nice place and taste is still maintained.
Ranganathan Venkatasubramanian
Their bhel puris are very good and their samosas are a must try. The chole batura is also very good. Was hoping they would have Mishti doi but they didnot have in their list of Bengali sweets
Ajay Kannan
Good place for snacks and light dinner. The chola batura was tasty. Pav bhaji buns were super soft and fluffy with a lot of butter. Being in the centre of the city there is a lot of traffic getting there and coming out. All items tasted was delicious. Neat assembly counters and kitchen.Overall nice place to hang.
Vishvesh Patel

The cheese Vada pav is a must try. The melting cheese in between the grilled pav mixed with green chutney and pav. Omg ... It's an heavenly experience.
Dawn-.-
A must try for all the chat lovers with a tummy thay can't handle the street chat. The quantity is appreciable but they are kinda pricy. Good quality sweets and chats. Definitely try the milk sweets they're mouth watering. Wouldn't recommend dining in as the place is mostly crowded and you wouldn't be able to find a table.
Inderbir Kaur
Would like home delivery of paneer
Ashwitha
This place is known for their chats and recently I was surprised that they also serve the best eggless cakes in town😍😍

Chocolate truffle cake - The layers of chocolate were very thick and tasty😋❤️
Siddharth Shankar
Shree Mithai have set the gold standards in terms of sweets, chaat and savouries. Right from exotic sweets to the normal ones - they have nailed everything. Absolutely goes the same for the chaat items too. No wonder you can see humans crowding up the place, like ants attracted towards anything sweet :p

Your relatives would treat you like a king if you take back anything from Shree mithai and your instant respect level would be upped in an instance!
Kashish Mittal
Nice place, cosy dining space, food service speed and quality is very good. The sweets, Indian snacks are quite good

Tried, chola bhathura, sev Puri, paneer strudel, paneer Patrice, break pakoda, moving halwa, carrot halwa, ras malai, iced tea. Quite good food. Coming for the fourth time, consistency is maintained.
Sonam Choudhary
This place is my personal favourite in Chennai. They provide authentic North Indian snacks and sweets. I have been to this place hundreds of time and every time the experience was amazing.
Sonali
Been here more than a dozen times .
The place is easily locatable , could hold around 25 to 30 people .
Though famous for sweets , the chats pull me here everytime. Pick any chat (Samosa to Chola Batura), the taste would feel so authentic and rich.
On a random day ,3 of us made our way there. We had
• Chole Bature - 4.5/5
Best if eaten when it's hot. Chole tasted typical north Indian style. A must try.
• Dahi poori. - 5/5
One word - perfect 👌
• Cheese & Bhujia wandwich - 4.5/5
This was my first try . Both cheese and bhujia being my fav , i loved it . The crispiness of sev and softness of bread gave good blend.
Prashanna Sivaraman
Stopped for a quick snack. We were passing by Sree Mithai , what better place to snack than here .

Ordered Paneer Pattice - usual favourite it was awesome , generally I like their bread pakoda better and I tend to choose that over Panner pattice when both are available but had Panner pattice this time . The pattice was good crispy outside, the filling was good and Panner slice was huge .

Lacha Tokri Chat - the best place to eat Lacha Yokri chat in Chennai is Sree Mithai no doubt . The potato basket and the filling that goes inside plus the sweetened curd were all fantastic.

Grillled Veg Sandwich- usually Sree Mithat sandwich , nothing special . The sandwich was crispy and grilled to perfection.

Somesh
Chaat items were good and they are even ready to customise it as per your specifications. The level of hygiene has been maintained well! The staff are very friendly and make it a pleasure visiting this place.

Can you please start serving lunch in Nungambakam?

We dropped in around lunch time, though disappointed with no lunch menu, we still digged into amazing chats that was scintillating to the tongue!
The Luscious Tummy
Amazing veg food & best place for chaat & sweets. Must try chola poori which is the ultimate thing in their shop. The best Sweet is Kaju Katli & Boondhi Laddu was yummy.
Riddhi Andiappan
My favourite place in chennai for chats. The bhel Puri is amazing with prefect amount of spice and sweetness. Tried chole Puri and sandwich and surprisingly both were good and got back memories of mumbai street food.
Ambiance is loud and crowed.
Krishna Abhishekh
Well serviced and proper taste
Loved it in terms of the quality
Please order any sweets and special dishes from it well deserved 5star and special offers..

A good place for North Indian Sweets, Savouries. A must try for People who love Kachori, Mirchi Bada, Chole Bhatture. You should have the Kesar Badam Milk for sure.
Ra Vijay
It’s been years shree has been chennai sweet lifestyle. They live up to standard when it comes to milk sweets. Even the snacks are quite impressive on the taste buds
Krishnamaya23
Yesterday we went to this restaurant in Nungambakkam ordered Pav Bhaji /Raj Kachori / vada pav all were just ok. Bhaji is over salted .Taste had changed a lot and I never expected to be ordinary. We took home Basundi and had it it is not upto the standard of Sree Mithai . We were very disappointed . We had visited many times . I request the owner to taste it every day before evening crowd comes . So that he will know the why taste had come down .
Pooja
Tried their delicacies cheese vada pav and badam milk. Their pizzas are crunchy, healthy and tasty.
The evenings are mostly crowded, I went on a weekday so it could have been worse.
They can make arrangements to accommodate more people at the restaurant. The parking lot is pretty spacious.
Ambience - 3/5
Taste - 4/5
Cost - 4/5
Kishan Mallik
I have been here recently after a very long time and tried Chaat. Pani Puri was good whereas aloo tikki dahi chat was just about an average. They don't have the charm as earlier.
Bhawana Jhawar
Myself being from Kolkata this is the place to have Kachori sabji..but the only problem is they serve it only on Saturdays and Sundays.

I have tried almost every dishes here and just loved them all..

Centrally located with great parking, this is a small store that packs a punch! With a couple of tables (self-serve) with delicious vegetarian food that transcends age, you will find peace here. They have great parking and amicable staff at your service.

The air-conditioning is strong and the store is easy to spot from the main road. With a plethora of sweets, savories and snacks, you will definitely ce back here for more.

If you agree with my opinion and find my review justified, please feel free to hit the 👍🏻button and maybe even give me a follow? I'd really appreciate it. ☺️

May great food await you. 😁
#Thefoodpotato

Find me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter @Thefoodpotato

Very oily food. Be it pav or bhatura..All are hell oily. Won't feel well after eating it. The restaurant should take appropriate measures and use less and good quality oil.
Koushal
I ordered Pani Puri, rasmalai, gulab jamun and bhedmi Puri. First start with bhedmi puri. The puri was very good and was nicely cooked golden brown. As far as side dish it was a bit oily. So I removed the extra oil floating on the top of the side dish otherwise taste was good. To my surprise I got jalebi 2 pieces along with bhedmi puri. Jalebi is also crispy and delicious. I want to try some more. I will recommend it to others. Thin and crispy jalebi that is how it should be prepared. Perfect. Rasmalai was awesome. I recommend it. Pani Puri with two different flavours of water. Reminds me of Delhi. Potato and chana with Pani Puri taste awesome. Gulab jamun was soft and absolute sweet not much and not less. Sugar syrup(chhashni) is good and well prepared( ek taar ki chhashni). Superb and keep up the good work Shree mithai. Overall nice and tasty food. I want to explore some more items...thumps up

Anand Athreya
Sree Mithai is a great up and running place for both chaat lovers and the sweet tooth.

The place has a great variety on chaat ranging from the humble Bhel Puri to the the salivating Pav Bhaji. Their Sandwiches are also really good. The Grilled sandwiches at this place are a definite must try!

They also offer a great deal on sweets. Gulab Jamun, Kaju Kathli etc, even though they are a tad pricey when compared to the other chaat places.

Must Try - Channa Samosa, Pav Bhaji and Chocolate Cake.

Food - 4/5
Service - 4/5
Ambience- Eh
Sowmya Ravichandran
One of the best places for North Indian sweets and chaat food.
I had bhel Puri, Raj kachori (mouth watering), pani Puri (as I am a spice lover hence I felt the chilly paani could have been more spicier but other than that Taste is good), dhokla was normal.
Cakes here aren't soo special and felt like it is overpriced.
I love all the chaat here and almost all the sweets.
Snacks like roll and panner patties were normal.

Overall experience was good.

Kamesh Warran
Go here only for the sweets.
Anything else is pretty much waste of money.
The chat and cakes look good but don't taste well.
I haven't tried the tiffin/lunch items though.

'DAHI PURI'@ Shree Mithai Anna Nagar!

A Definite on your 'MUST TRY' list. Filled with an overflowing amount of cold sweet curd with a blend of sweet N hot chutney, it fills straight up your ladder of satisfaction. Topped with Om podi, spices, it sure makes one of the best Dahi puri @Namma Chennai!!!

Price: RS.65 (worth it!!)
Food: 5❤️
I have been their ladoo, Rasmalai and kalakandh fan for years ...now I have become their chaat fan .....the place is hygienic and neat .....will always land up here for sweets and chaat craving 😂😂

Shree Mithai has amazing sweets and not to mention their chat items, Love their Chole Bhature, Bhujiya Cheese Sandwich
Div R
Shree mithai is an ideal place to have chaat and Indian sweets. I personally love their Pav bhaji, dahi Papdi, dahi puri, bhel puri, spring rolls and badam kheer. They also have pastries.
Javid Z
Never fed up of this place till now, been visiting it since years. They have still maintained the same quality and taste. The aroma and the richness is still unique. The best place for a big variety of chaat food and delicious desi desserts. They have added quite a big list of items to their menu and it is really good. Everytime i visit this place i find it full and still manage to get a seat somehow. And parking is not at all an issue here which is an added advantage.
Moni The Foody
Shree mithai is one of the best shop for sweets and savouries.

My favourite over there is Milk peda.

We tried most of the snack item there like samosa, vadapav, dhokla, Mirchi vada, bhel puri and sandwiches.

They had two types of dhokla one was idly dhokla and another was nylon dhokla. I liked idly dhokla over nylon. It was best accompanied by green and sweet chutney.

Vada pav and bhel puri was ultimate.
Gayathri Vignesh
BEST FOR SWEETS & CHATS

Located in the heart of the city - nungambakam, the area known for eateries is this small outlet. One of the best, rich & tastiest kaju kati is available only at Shri Mithai. We often buy kaju katli in bulks from this place and its one of the best here. Badam milk is also really good here, very thick. Love their chats as well. Samosa, bhel puri everything is very good. The quality can be seen in the smell, taste and packaging. A thumbs up for serving quality n tasty sweets n chats.
Sneha Srihari
Great place for authentic chaat. Hygienic... Limited seating but decent ambience. Nothing new on the menu. But everything is tasty.
Had paneer bonda as it sounded new but there was no paneer at all. It was normal aaloo bonda.
Grilled sandwichws are good. They have brown bread option too.
The_munching_munchkin
The best place for quality sweets and chat in Chennai.. this is pretty small and I think it needs more seating.. rasmalais are to die for here.. infact I love most of the sweets from here... They have good pastries as well.. their chola puri is okay.. their badam milk is like the besssttt one.. shreemithai is like my usual hangout.. no complains about their food. But Just for their seating...
Ashwin J
Shree Mithai serves the best chat in Chennai.... It's a fact.... The taste, service and ambience hasn't changed for years... Have always enjoyed the food here... Their sweets, savouries and Chaat items are awesome.... Try their pani puri, sev puri, dahi papadi Chaat, vada pav, bread pakoda and samosa... It will never disappoint you... In sweets my favorite is dates Mysore Pak.... It is one unique sweet that you don't get any where else... If given a choice I can eat all 3 meals in a day at this place.... A must visit place for all Chaat lovers...
Charandeep Singh
Well I had heard a lot about it from my friends. So ventured to try their chhole bhature. Truly I was underwhelmed by their food. Nothing bad, but it wasn't authentic. We ordered kachori chhole, bread pakoda, bhature chhole, paani Puri and badaam milk. Kachori was decent and badaam milk excellent. Let's say rest all is good for those who don't know what real chhole bhature is...
Karthigeyan
My favourite bakery when it comes to serving best quality with reasonable price...
All the milk sweets were almost excellent and mouth watering...
Coming to my favourite part was always badam milk .. From my childhood this is the best badam milk I have ever tasted... Quality at it's best and the thickness of this will take u to heaven 😍
Apart from badam milk basundi and chocolate shake will be superb🤟
So just hit this bakery if u wanna taste a thick badam milk and excellent milk sweets 👍
Shreeya Jayaraman
This outlet is quite crowded, and the Shree Mithai standard of food is maintained in the fresh food. However, I'm disappointed at their namkeens etc which were old and weird tasting the last time I ordered. I'll stick to Chetpet and Anna Nagar in the future.
Balaji Ayeratharasu
Small outlet comparing to Chetpet . Max sitting capacity 30 - 35 ppl. Standing & moving crowd 10 - 20 ppl.
Usually a busy outlet. Best for chat item. I have tried very thing in the menu. My fav was grilled club sandwich, Dhokla , bread pakoda and badam milk.
Price are very reasonable and affordable for everyone.
Snacks ,Sweets ,Bakery and cookies are very delicious and tasty. Once you taste it you won't leave it.
Rithvik Anand
Ordered a home delivery yesterday through zomato. The food was delivered pretty quickly.
The order is as follows:

Dahi poori:It tasted good with good proportion of curd and the chutneys and it tasted sweet also.

Bhel poori:This is one of my most favourite dishes over here and it sure did not disappoint. It was tangy, spicy, sweet and it ticked all the right boxes.

Pizza roll:It was just ok nothing much to write about.

Samosa:It tasted good with the aloo stuffing in it.
Aarthee S
Raj kachori was something new and tasty 🤤 . It is an exceptionally big dahi Puri with crunchy stuff inside and has a nice tangy twist . Definitely a perfect snack for the evening .
Pav bhaji was remarkable (+_+)
The dahi puri was great , stuffed with adequate sauces , dahi , potatoes and a little gram . The lachha tokri was not recommendable , it was fully filled with thattai pieces and dal mixture alone , making it difficult to finish and the tokri was hard to bite.

5 days ago, I came upon Shree Mithai outlet in Nungambakkam. During my school days, I used to frequent its Chetpet outlet and savoured both its sweets and chaat items. Hence visiting its local branch brought back some of my childhood memories. Even I had visited another one in Anna Nagar a few times.

We had ordered Khandvi rolls, paneer bondas, kaju katli and badam milk. We all relished these refreshments. You could find numerous North-Indians dining in this eatery cum shop. This outlet is as crowded and busy as its Chetpet outlet.

However, the service needs to be improved and orders have to be delivered promptly. Otherwise, the food and dining experience was good. Rated it 3/5.

Foodiee_02
This cuisine is in nungambakkam.. opposite to ispahani centre.. Many outlets are there, I tried here..
Best place for chaats and sweets
Suggestions: chaats, chocolate fudge, badham milk
Sweets: rasmalai (I insist to try this out), gulab jamun (and yeah this one is mah favourite 😅)
Abhishek Ramesh Chavan
Decent joint with decent taste for various dishes. Chole bature, bengali sweets and special cookies were delight. Speciality of this place is that, you really enjoy north Indian dishes and chaats.
Rishiraj J.
Was looking to buy local sweets to get home to Pu e. This was suggested. Date Mysurpa and Butter Murrukku. Awesome taste and quality. Cheers to good food
Babu Varma
why do you guys distribute flyers when you don't have it in the app??? Special offer valid in sat and Sunday 12pm - 11pm as advertised. but not updated.
Lavendra.reddy
Whoever it may concern. Could have been better if you could have mentioned in your advertisement that North Indian express combo is valid only in Chetpet branch and limited delivery coverage. Could have avoided disappointments.
Dino David
If you belong to Northern part of India but staying in chennai and you are missing the street food,Go to this place..they have an amazing variety of North Indian street food, pastries and sweets. cheers!
Sweta Misser
Shree Mithai serves you the most acceptable and welcoming dishes. Unlike the name says it not only serves sweets but also has tasty chats and pastries. The food here is appropriate in quantity and it's affordable. The main USP of this place is it's hygiene. Counters are sometimes annoying because you have to service yourself here but the queues are worth it.
Go Get Good!👍

An impromptu visit to Shree Mithai for satisfying our sweet tooth. The place is pretty compact and has around 8-9 tables. There was a quick lunch at 100 but we were not too keen eating rice so opted against it. We ordered channa bhatura, Pav bhaji, Samosa, bread pakoda and badam milk.food was hot and delivered pretty fast. The pav Bhaji is my personal fav here as it rightly spiced and the pav has the right amount of butter in it.the channa bhatura was huge and went well with the channa. But the star of the day was the badam milk. With almonds floating on top and thick malai this is definitely the best badam milk of chennai. The samosas and bread pakoda was also good and went well with the chutneys. Overall a satisfying meal and was very light on the pocket (total cost for 2 was inr 480). If only they had a branch in ecr!sigh!
Arshpreet Singh
most delicious sweets in Chennai.. I went with my friends and we couldn't stop eating sweets. Their "moong dal ka halwa" was super delicious. Also, one must try paw bhaji and dahi papdi chat.. you really have a North Indian fell in the heart of South India. Savior the taste of mithai . one must visit with their friends or family and have a great time and food.
Bhawana Jhawar
This is a restaurant that allows me satisfy my craving of kachori sabji of kolkata taste ...but the bad thing about this place is it serves kachori sabji only on weekends..

I didnt like grilled sandwich and paneer pakora here..it was some how tasteless..

Chole bhature are yummmmm...all sweets Taste equally good..

Staffs are nice ..service is prompt..and ambience is recent.
Sam
First time visiting the place and will definitely go back for more . And about the place
The service was prompt and the food was amazing.Chola bhatura and pavbhaji are a must try.We had also ordered dahi papdi chat, vadapav, chilli cheese toast ,veg cheese toast and bhelpuri. All of them were really good though vadapav wasn't upto the mark.
And on an other visit had ordered a sev Puri ,channa samosa and panipuri
Sev Puri and channa samosa very really good .Pani Puri was nothing special
Definitely worth the price ! Must visit for chaat lovers
Abhilasha Unnikrishnan
The food here is amazing. The service on the other hand isn’t. The staff are rude and impatient. They kept asking us to clear the place even though we were eating food and the restaurant was pretty empty. Wouldn’t recommend this branch.
Nitin Chopra
One of the best place for chaat foods in chennai.
Dahi Puri
Pav Bhaji
Club Sandwich
Badam Milk
Quality Quantity & Hygiene:) & they have wide range of sweets for taste buds !
Anand Kumaar
Went there on a rainy day to buy some snacks and laze in front of the TV. Bought Dahi Puri, Raj Kachori, Ladoo and Butter Muruku.
The Raj Kachori was a big size puri with sprouts boiled potato and topped with Curd and the usual chat masala and chutney.
The muruku was crisp and crunchy. Overall a good experience.
Iam AK(Anaikomagan)
#DikhaawaSNACKSOut #1 Went there for snacks outing as we were in in the nearby area.
We ordered 2 Pav Bhajis and A Vada Pav For Me. As usual these people have standard and its amazing. This a small place compared to their other outlets. But Posh Location uh!
Garima Gupta
I have been here on couple of occasions. I live their Pani Puri, samosa and khaman. They fullfil my taste buds for chat that too in Chennai. It just has few tables. I suggest you put a few tables outside too. The Ras malai is also good and so is gulab jamun...!!
Mahalakshmi Anand
Shree Mithai, the original branch at Chetpet has been my favorite chat shop since my childhood.
They are also the pioneers of the soft ,delicate white Pedas as opposed to the hard pellet like ones which were then available in Chennai.
Their repertoire of sweets is also very varied and most of them delicious not to mention their rich and nut filled Badam Milk..
It has grown from a humble establishment into a chain of restaurants due to their innovations and evolution form a Mithai shop to an eatery serving fast food and several other snack and delicious chaat items.

Was passing by their nungambakkam branch today and couldn't resist picking up some chaat.
It was 4:30 in the evening ,surprisingly there was a very small crowd so I was able to finish ordering my takeaway and pick up my order within 5 mins.
Very efficient service indeed!
I ordered Bhel Puri,Raj Kachori and my absolute favorite-Dahi Puri.
I noticed some new roll like snack which they said was a Pizza Roll so ordered one to try.
I had to get a box of Boondhi Laddoos which is very ,moist and luscious,.

Came back home which took me a good half an hour in the traffic ,found the Puris in the Dahi Puri soft and pliable but that is the way I like it and the proportion of sweet, salty and spice just perfect with the right amount of creamy curd-perfection in a bowl!
The Pizza Roll was also good,it is a roulade like snack filled with a pizza topping.
The rest of the Chaats were also good .
Good to see that this branch is also keeping up the standards of the chain.
Simon Patrick
Went an evening for quick bites. Ate Paneer patty, Bread pakoda and a long jamun. It was good and tasty. They do have a variety of chaats and bakery stuff. They also serve good Cholae Bhatura The staff are courteous.
Romario
I usually visit this place to buy sweets during Diwali time and I always buy White Burfi, Kaju katli and Modi pak for my family and friends. The Chat items are equally good, especially Rasmalai and kesar Badam Milk (yum).
Sailee
A good place to devour some chats . They also have a variety of sweets , snacks for sale . Breads , brownies, paneer and cakes are a good hit .
Aruna A
Went there on Diwali day to buy sweets. This place is not nearby for me, but I have been told by many people that this is one of the best places to get sweets. Bought just a box of assorted sweets..the quality of the sweets was so good! It was fresh and tasty!the best I have had in chennai so far
Nikhil Chordia
It is a good fast food joint with self service as the only option with limited tables. Nevertheless the quality of sweets, pastries and chaats can compensate for all of that. Must try their badam milk, vada pav, chole bhatura, grilled vegatable sandwich and veriety of their sweet options. Their bakery products are all eggless so its a good choice for a vegetarian to try out eggless pastries. Would be better to do a takeaway here than dine in.
Anufa
You get awesome chats and sweets that taste really amazing but the tables are full all the tym paneer jalebi is my favourite!!! ...........!
WInDarA
The best Dahi poori and chese pavbaji. It's not an exaggeration. Taste and quality is unbeatable. A crowded place in heart of chennai with parking and comfortable accessibility. Many of mouth watering snacks.must try .....
A Taniya
They serve "The best" Dahi kachori in town.
The chola bhatura and Bhel puri has a satisfying flavour.
Most of them will agree with the obvious fact that they serve Kaju kathli and badam milk that are flavourful and activates one's taste buds in a jiffy.
Mala Maini
The chat items are good but sandwich was not up to the mark and on requesting to grill the sandwich the staff was rude in talking and not helpful.

Have been to this place on a few occasions , have always loved the food. The chaats and north Indian food here is to die for. It's one of the places where you can get the food you have been searching for to try some authentic north Indian Food .

I have heard Shree mittai is only famous for sweets and savouries. But today that has been changed that they are also good in 🍰 varities.
Yummy!!! the blueberry cheesecake is totally astonished and also it's very inexpensive.
Main concern is you cannot celebrate at their place, as it is occupied always..only a door delivery option.
Cake s fresh and so mellowed 😍.
Just had few varities but all time favorites🙌.
1KG blueberry cheesecake - just 700 🕶️

Good place to grab a quick bite of snacks... Heaven for chat lovers and North Indian snacks...only concern is the seating capacity...that's where it scores less compare to other branches...

Been here twice in the past month for evening snack/dinner. The Chaat here is pretty good, tasty and given in decent quantity. The Bombay sandwich, Chole Batura, Bombay sandwich and Jhalmudi are recommended. The Rasmalai is a must have here one of the best in Chennai. Overall great grub and the place also has ample car parking. The prices are a bit on the higher side but worth it.

What extra special I have to write for my review am thinking as already too many adjectives were been used to describe the food quality of this place by the other foodies 😀
Location is perfect to pull the crowd with good quality food and quantity as well. Very clean place.
Either chaats or sweets you won't get disappointed. Chaats are just awesome. Yummy!!!
Everytime I visit here I try something new from the menus.

Hands down the worst panni puri I ever had. Panni was extremely salty and the potatoes had too much chilly powder. I became a fire breathing dragon and got casted in the next hobbit movie.

The place one ought to visit to eat the best North Indian Street food 'Chat' and other savouries. The sweets are also very tasty. The best thing available here I say is the 'Chole Bhature'.
Chat, anything from the chat menu is outstanding in taste.

Decent hygenic and a great choice for sweets and snacks. Cheers for the quality of food...just next to the Park Hotel and v close to the US consulate.
Well maintained multilingual staff (Thank God).
Authentic north indian snacks...serves pure veg.
Had to take away .5 stars due to seating space crunch...has only 6 tables and cater to min 6 and at max 24 visitors.

Keep up guys!

Nothing, just nothing can beat chaat. Was craving for chaat and while we were waiting for our red box chinese take away, we decided to check this place out.
Thank heavens i decided to do so. I used to be skeptical about trying chaat in places like this and always preferred small kiosks specifically with north indian vendors :D
Dhokla, chola batura and pani puri. Thats it! My heart and soul has never thanked me more. This is just the beginning.... Lots to try.
Dont expect a great Ambience where there is chaat. It is just not applicable :D atleast according to me
It was Sunday and dropped in but the dessert for the afternoon lunch and Sree Mithai Rasamalai was the ultimate choice. Bought around 15 pieces and they were super awesome. Bought potato wafers and Paneer Jamun as well. The wafers though were good, it lacked the punch. The Paneer jamun was okish. Overall a satisfying experience.

Situated in heart of city 'Nungambakkam' this place is where you can find authentic north Indian snacks, chats and few other items like chola bhature. Taste is authentic and seems very popular among north Indians and foodies. Have tried almost all chaats. Do not miss the Ras Malai...

Great place for those with a sweet tooth. I also enjoy the chat items they sell. Even though they have very few tables it's still a good place to go to every now and then.
