Naga Reju fast food 🍱 Located near the choolaimedu signal. 🚦This place was on my mind for so many days and finally had a chance to be there. A pakka North eastern cuisine restaurant. They have only Chicken, Pork, Beef dishes and a couple of veg dishes. We had ordered for Chilly beef - The preparation was slightly different from the usual ones we get and it was amazing 🤩 . Mixed noodles 🍜 - Good quantity and the taste was amazing with mild spiciness. Having good amount chicken , pork and beef . Ambience is average one . Mid level fast food type . Parking - No parking facilities available. Its on the main road and it is difficult to park the two wheelers itself nearby. Overall a good place to try the North eastern cuisine. The quality and quantity of food were both excellent 👌

We had ordered for Steamed Chicken momos - Excellent value for money 👌 Pork slice fry - Another mild spicy dish which was sooo yum. Chicken lollipop - The preparation was slightly different from the usual ones we get and lacked salt in it. Chicken soup chow - Good quantity of noodles (chow) in soup. The quantity is such that two people can have this. Spicy chicken rice - This one was verryyyy spicy 🌶️🔥 and again the quantity was sufficient for 2 people. Pork chow - Good quantity and the taste was amazing with mild spiciness. Beef NKC Bamboo shoot - NKC stands for Naga King Chilly. The person mentioned that this is the spiciest among all the dishes. But we didn't feel so. And I did not like the flavour of the Bamboo shoot. Should have tried just the NKC dish without the Bamboo shoot curry 🙄 Ambience - Very basic. Non AC. Typical fast food ambience. Parking - No parking facilities available. Its on the main road and it is difficult to park the two wheelers itself nearby. Overall a good place to try the North eastern cuisine. The quality and quantity of food were both excellent 👌

The only place after Kailash kitchen which I love. Naga Reju might actually over take Kailash kitchen soon to be one of the best momos place because they provide a wide variety of dishes - Chicken , Beef and pork I visited this place when I was in school and since then have introduced this place to many of my friends and colleagues and they soon fell in love with the place. The only disadvantage of both Naga Reju and Kailash kitchen is the location. They both are basically invisible and we might actually need a treasure map to locate them. They are definitely not location and parking friendly. Naga reju is located in the main road next to Choolaimedu junction (landmark- there is a tasmac ) If your looking for good food and great momos with some variety this is your go to place

The food here was delicious, it tasted as if I was in Nagaland itself. The staff was very friendly and our request due to the time crunch had prepared the food beforehand. This is the best Naga food that you can get

u can find a similar place but the munchurian gravy served is quite unique, blends well with the Chinese dishes served here..excellent quality & sufficient quantity. Beef lovers paradise. Economically priced

It was new experience for me, first when I entered there was a bad smell don't know what it is even the waiter was clueless but food was good 👍.

Best place for naga food. while they have lot of known dishes, avoid the regular and order anything under the naga king chilly section. They also have lovely rice combos. One of the few places that serve pork and beef. Priced really well and portions are large.

I love the beef bamboo shoot curry with steam rice.But one thing, it's too high price for steam and extra curry, and lack of chilli chutney and boil cabbage.

I tried Naga thali, Pork with Bambooshoot... Overall it was good, but the chutney they provided was not that good, i expected a spicy one but instead it was a cold alo chutney..

Best place to have authentic nagaland style foods...especially their beef and pork are delicacies to be munched on...and their special menu pork ribs was so juicy and buttery...one of the best place to try on chennai

Very worst chicken fried rice.it is not chicken fried rice it is white rice, not even able to eat it only made up of white rice and raw chicken. The person who made this doesn't know how to cook does money is joke for them.very much disappointed it has been thrown in to the garbage.please don't buy anything from this hottle I had never tasted such an horrible fried rice ever.

The most amazing food but the most disgusting toilet. Quality of food is great and price of the food could be increased in order to fund a renovation. The order was not taken properly it gave beef rice in order of pork chowmin and we were not even inform properly.

Previously this place used to be KY fav but now and especially by the last two orders I m sorry but the quality has gone down to pathetic. This is not northeast food guys. When asked for spicy we(the customer) mean the king chilly and not the chilly paste and please don't forget to taste the food before delivery. Seriously I would think ten times before ordering again.

The Worst Chicken fried rice i had ever tasted in my life. I ordered chicken fried rice, the meat used was not chicken it was some thing else (May be Dog Meat) i thrown away the food.

The food is very tasty... Quantity, quality and price are much affordable... Every thing taste good, especially the beef noodle soup... We went for the friend's birthday dinner, ....... and we are very pleased in every food they served.....

I love spicy and boiled food and this is the place I wanted to have quite for a long period of time like almost more than a year now I have kept this restaurant on my wishlist and finally I got to eat here.<br/>I ordered noddles and ask them to make extra spicy and they made it so. I read reviews saying that it spicy food let me say they don't serve spicy until you ask them to make. Haven't been to the place, but have ordered online via #Swiggy and now #Zomato. Not all food tastes good, well as per my south Indian taste buds. But it definitely has the authentic Naga taste. <br/><br/>Personal favourites are chilli pork, chilli beef and beef fried rice. Best thing about them is that they provide good quantity and excellent quality. Have never been disappointed with them. <br/><br/>I call that excellent service! 👌🏻

The place is good and the service is fast but not all the picks in the menu is good. Noodles was soo dry and chowmein was tasteless. All i did was drink a dozen of slice.

Never knew that North East Indian cuisine could bring so much flavour and zing. Although many would say this is just another Asian spin off, there are some truly unique dishes to naga cooking that is spicy and flavourful. It’s a festival in your mouth. 10/10 would recommend.

I was introduced to this place by one of my good friend, not very big and kinda hard to find!! Need to have quiet sharp vision. But this place surpasses all your expectations, coz they serve delicious Momos and fried rice. On a rainy day, when I want comfort food,I’ll always turn to Naga Reju 😋😋 better to get take out.

Have order here online and would say good spicy beef and beef fried rice. Huge quantity and good quality of beef. Authentic taste of northeast with spicy chilly. I would love go there and try out their other dishes. Will sure go there soon. Wait for my next review here <br/>

Recently I have ordered the pork fried rice and pork pepper fry really it was very good quality and quantity wise. Compare to other restaurant cost of food is normal and again I like the quality is very very good because quality is very important in restaurant as well quantity little bit anyway this is one of my favorite restaurant in my experience.

ordered anishi pork curry with some chicken fried rice and it turned out to be the worst food that my palate has ever tasted. such a disappointment it was! sorry to say. please respect the money that we spend.

Found this place when I was looking for some place to taste north east foods. Authentic Nagaland flavours. They've got everything from momos to Naga thali meal combos.. beef chicken and pork is their main meat. Order anything and don't forget to get a bottle or two of that non alcoholic fruit beer🍺👌

Even though a normal fast food restaurant but if you are one of the addict to naga food this would satisfy you...loved the pork belly gravy with bamboo shoots. Was the same best taste wherever you could get...and their king chilly chutney with pork liver mashed in it..hmmm...was having it with steamed rice..would go back whenever in the mood of Naga food

I am usually ordering from this fast food corner whenever I am hungry and too busy to cook.<br/>I like the food and how simple it is. I was however very much disappointed when I recieved a rather old chicken which has already turned blue and tasted like plastic. Had a little bit of stench as well. It appeared it had been frozen for long.

It was evening and we planned for some hot momos. The nearby and much talked about place I chose to go was this place. It was in the evening and the place was quite free.<br/>The interior was nothing to talk about much. Pictures of Nagaland and the culture. It is set up in a dim light.<br/>Even the menu is of Pork , Beef and Chicken. Not a place for vegans.<br/>We placed our order and didn't had to wait long.<br/>◾ Chicken chili Momo. Fried momos which were sauted with onions and some chillis. Tasty and hot momos. But the stuffing were very less.<br/>◾ Chicken in Noodle Soup. It was like Thukpa. It was served so hot and even the portion given will satisfy two person easily.<br/>◾NKC Chicken. That's a Nagaland special chicken fry with chillies. They demanded it to be very spicy but it was normal. I didn't felt any taste, the chicken didn't tasted fresh. But we eat the full.<br/>Ended up with a Sprite.

I love this place i order regularly and the food is very tasty, but i don't know what happened today the food was really bad. There was no salt ans i dont y there is an option for giving special instructions to the chef if u have any preference on how the food has to be made. Today i gave an instruction to make the food spicy and with eztra chilli wereas when i got the food the food wasnt spicy at all moreover there was no salt also and worst part the pork was half cooked. I didng expect this at all. No spice less salt can be managed but half coomed meat? No way no one will ever accept that. Next time i will have second thoughts to order from here. I am really disappointed by the quality of food given today.

One of the best place to have northeast food in Chennai. It’s affordable and tasty. My All time fav spot for momos. Though the place doesn’t have car park, I would suggest take away is the best.

Very Oily Food , had their noodles once and had to really give it off because it was almost inedible . Try looking into what is being delivered to us , after all we are also your customers

A cozy and peaceful restaurant. The food served here is off north eastern origin. They do not really replicate the North eastern flavours but the taste is good. Wouldn't say amazing. Just good. I bookmarked this restaurant for quite a long time. Finally able to visit on a Sunday evening. This one is situated just beside the CK bakery on Nelson Manickm road. There isn't any place for parking which is prob. Simple restaurant with a wide range of authentic naga menus.. Order for chicken chowmin.. Quantity: vry gd amount. Not at all spicy which i didnt like😒 Even after putting their home made sauce(I didn't get any extra taste from the sauce) it was not spicy❌ noodles was a bit oily which is ok for me as it tastes good..<br/><br/>Pros:<br/>1. I like the ambiance of this restaurant.. Deemly lighted.. so many frames with either pictures or details of nagaland..<br/>2. friendly n prompt staff's..(It took them just 10 minutes )👏<br/><br/>Cons:<br/>1. Chicken pieces were very small n they were 6 in no. (Yes I counted it).<br/>2.Veggies were also vry less.<br/><br/>So verdict of the day: Extremely pocket friendly food joint. Was pleasantly surprised to find an authentic Naga restaurant in Chennai. I ordered chilli beef, pork and bamboo and mixed fried rice. This was by far the most amazing meal that from out of Tamilnadu. I am a big fan of Naga food. And this is the closest it gets to home made..... The other being actually made at home. That k you Team Naga Reju.

This is not the real taste

One of my friend from North East (office colleague also) suggested to visit this place after knowing my interest for momo. So I visited the restaurant with one of my friend last week. Location is accessible.. Near to nungambakkam railway station. Restaurant is decorated with lots of naga photos and traditional masks. When I entered saw some youngsters were enjoying the food. So I ordered one plate pork and one plate chicken MOMO.. (steamed). With fruit beer and cokes. Momos are both Good in both quality and quantity. (8 pieces Momos for rs110, rs 20 for fruit beer only). I wish to visit again here, will taste others specially noodles and pork chillie fry.<br/>Cons :<br/>1. actually I'm from Kolkata and in my place momos are served with soups (free of cost) but here only chillie and tomato sauce were given.<br/><br/>2.there is not enough space for four while parking, but for bikers no problem will arise.

This review is totally based on home delivery, particularly Beef fried rice. Food was average though the chilly sauce tasted great. Pocket friendly and full filling but apparently the food lacks Naga fire.
