A small place. Only we 3 were their customers when we entered. We thought we made a mistake of choosing this restaurant. But frankly speaking we all liked the food. It was tasty and freshly made. We all liked. We 3 had a dinner for around RS 500/-

Quality and tasty.. costs low, ambience not much gud, two wheeler parking is available, 1 or 2 cars can also park, Definitely u will enjoy. " Don't judge a book by it's cover "..

Can't say it's very good but for North Indian food I say it's better then the north Indian food I tried at some of the others restaurant in Chennai location was easily findable by Google map hope to have a meal again some day. Keep up the good work.

Spicy, yummy, tangy !! Been twice. Haven't ordered much than some roti, dal thadka, masala papad, hot & sour soup. Mushroom tikka is a must try. Ambience was also good. But the place needs some renovation.

Hi All, This is Harry again from chennai, here it is very positive review for this resta.. In fact I visited this Rajdhani in various other branches outside chennai, however the ambience and the environment needs some re-visiting by the restaurant ppl. Other than that food is good and some one wanted to taste the real northie food, here is the place to hang up !!!

I got a chance to visit this place finally. The place was pretty decent and now crowded, I ordered mushroom soup and fried momos. The soup was yummy, and fried momos the masala was well cooked but I didn't liked it, I prefer the steamed ones. Rate are okay.

Not big hotel but taste is awesome. Not value for money but if you want taste North Indian foods then it will be a good option in Chennai.

A true taste of punjabi food. Very good soup they prepared. Chapatis are very soft and lassi was great.

Worst Cooked Jeera Rice and Paneer Bhurji Masala ever tasted Jeera Rice was half cooked and also it was cood and stale.Never going to order again.

It is one of the best North Indian Joint in Chennai for the past decade, or more. The food is delicious and served well. Great and dedicated delivery service as well. Definitely a high for foodies!!

Their mini thali is amazing ! The dishes are authentic Rajasthani flavor. A bit too generous with ghee though. Loved the dhokla, veg pulao and the malpua. Chutneys were yum ! Good value for money !!!

Peas pulao and mushroom masala was very good. Please increase quantity of lassi and butter in butter naan. I will think to increase one more star.

The taste was good but it needed to be a bit spicy, all over the dish was packed well in the container and they full filled the instruction.

I ordered the food via food panda the food was dam pathetic. Naan was dam horrible and hard to bite the side dish panner butter masala was just made of orange color with juicy consistency horrible to taste it and also panner was spoiled and it had a bad flavour stink. Loss of money 😂😂 .Please look out for better place

the soup n momo was salty

The sarson ka sag had a chlorine taste. Guess the water used was chlorinated. The makki roti was one of the worst I had. Inspite of calling the restaurant and telling them to make it spicy, it was bland. Regret for ordering from here<br/>

The food was tasteless and bland...work on it next time round..the rice missed all the spices and salt as well..felt like i wasted my money.

Okayish. Ok taste of food. Breads are okayish, so is veg. Nothing great to say about this place really. Packing is also below average, no cutlery was provided , understandably no mouth freshner either with a full dinner course. Added dampner was poor delivery experience with zomato.

Just before i order veg fried rice and gobi Manchurian dry. Raw and un cooked vegetables in fried rice and Manchurian was very very bad bitter taste. My dinner was un done cause of bad taste of food.<br/>

If you want to get a feel of how North Indian Dhaba's look like in old times you can visit this place. Food purely tastes North Indian and it is nice. But the ambience is something which they should really change. I will suggest it's better to prefer order home delivery than going out at this place.

I ordered Punjabi Veg Thali. Dhal and veg dish (gravy) very bad . Overall for the quality and quantity one star. Its not worth of that price.  Disappointing lunch.

The food was so pedestrian for the amount charged. The Amritsari Chole lacked flavours and was too watery. Simply bad. So was the Tandoori Roti. It was also ordinary and the less said about the Raita, the better. <br/><br/>Overall, the food was extremely bad and I won't be recommending this restaurant to anybody

I ordered Punjabi thali.. they delivered only one phulka instead of 2 Tandoori butter roti and I did not find lassi in packet.. why to accept orders if can not deliver proper food..

The first time i went inside this pocket friendly north indian food joint,as the name suggested,i thought it would be a hardcore non-veg restaurant,but i was disappointed when they told me that it serves only veg food..but then to comfort myslef i ordered my only favourite veg thing,aloo paratha and chola..which did a pretty good job in bringing down my disappointment..they have a good range of vegeterian dishes..so all you vegetarians,try out this place..

Very bad ambience.... The air conditioners were not working ..the vessels were not cleaned properly ...they literally delayed in serving the food... We had to wait for long time....paneer tikka and muttor paneer were awesome 😍😍veg pulao was good.... The paneer butter masala and Gobi Manchurian were worst 😑...there was no butter in butter naan 😑😑.

I expected a traditional Punjabi food all I got was a regular food processed with heavy food Color. The entire plastic container of paneer tikka masala changed to bright red colour.The taste was decent but not much impressive

I ordered dal makhani,paneer parantha and garlic parantha. The food was delivered on time but the taste of dal makhani was strange,it didn't taste like a dal and the filling in the paranthas was too little that I could barely make out the paneer. Definitely off my list !

we took 4 north indian pujabi thalis.bhindi ki sabji was prepared with tomato chilli sauce which was worse in taste and difficult to digest and he mixed tomato ketchup. in panjabi chole we felt like vomiting after eating it.

Terrible would be an understatement. The food came late and the roti was too hard and to top it off the gravy was disgusting. <br/><br/>Punjabi food is known for its freshness and spices....not blandness and weird food.

Location & Ambience: I ordered for a delivery from the dhaba so the exact location and ambience related details are something I am not aware of. So the review is based on my delivery experience. The food arrived without much trouble but the delivery took a while than what was promised. Coming to the packing, it was perfect and there was no spillage. <br/><br/>Taste & Variety: It’s a pure vegetarian restaurant and my order was Punjabi Veg Thali. The thali was perfect for a person, it had Dhal, Palak Paneer, Kadhi, Bhindi Masala, Rice, Pappad, Pickle, Roti (2) and lassi. The drizzle of ghee over the hot and soft roti made it perfect; it tasted great with the gravies. The bhindi masala was a killer in taste, the onion-tomato gravy and the blend of bhindi in the masala was a right combo for both the roti and rice.<br/><br/>The dhal was good but the flavours were similar to kurma. But I loved the kadhi and rice; the sour taste and the consistency of the kadhi was great. It was the first time I spotted the tiniest paneer cubes in a gravy, the palak gravy was alright but wasn’t a favourite. Rice and papad was good.<br/><br/>And the best part was lassi, the consistency and the sweetness was too-too good. Overall the taste, portion and variety in the thali was great except for a few misses that can be forgiven. <br/><br/>Quality & Quantity: The thali portion is perfect for a person. The food quality was good too.<br/><br/>Price: The thali cost Rs.125 INR; but after a discount it costed Rs.118 INR, which definitely is value for money and shall be the right pick for affordable North Indian thali.

Ordered some aloo parathas along with paneer masala and dal fry.Dal fry was a disaster.Even the aloo paratha and paneer masala was below average.Would not recommend to order food from here,quite a bad experience.

The most pathetic service I have experienced with any restuarant.<br/><br/>I ordered paneer bhurji, dal tadka, butter rotis and naans. They ruined each and every thing after charging about 450 bucks for the order.<br/><br/>The rotis and naans were plain and not buttered as I ordered. On top of that these good for nothing cooks didnt even allow the naans rotis to be cooked cooked properly. You could literally taste the rawness of the dough.<br/><br/>On top of all this there was way too much salt in the paneer bhurji. So much of salt that I had to throw most of it away.<br/><br/>The dal was alright, and not even upto any standard you would find in other restuarants.<br/><br/>Absolutely disgusting service. Not sure how these guys are allowed to run a restuarant and charge customers so exhorbitantly.

I ordered take away from another app and posting my review here. I found a dead cockroach in the curd. You read it right a COCKROACH!!! WHAT THE %@#&. Did not feel like eating the food after seeing this but I really don't like to waste food. I tried to gulp it down my throat but it was really HORRIBLE. Even the road side local shops have food that tastes better. Worst thing was ordered 2 Thalis for my family and felt so sorry for them. I had a mushroom biryani and a mixed fruit lassi. Mushroom biryani is ok kind of dish, no regrets. But oil content was too high in biryani. Coming to lassi based on the reviews, with a lot of expectations had a first sip,but it was too sour,finally left over the lassi there and came back. Had a bitter experience.

Had a few minutes to spare, so ended up entering this place situated on the main road. I'm not sure if this place is new , but it reminded me of home. The lighting is not too good, seems a little dingy. but if you're looking for pocket friendly, it makes sense. <br/>They had an extensive menu consisting of vegetarian Indian items. Reading Punjabi, I had assumed it would at least serve some chicken. <br/>We were in the mood for some sweet stuff. So ordered a Punjabi Lassi and a Punjabi Kulfi. <br/>The Lassi was served in a melamine glass, it tasted good- I found it sweet but my friend thought it was too sour. It had some sort of sweet syrup on the top and bottom.<br/>The Kulfi was a regular Kulfi cut up and served in a heart shape steel bowl. Both those were worth the money. And maybe next time I can eat something as well. <br/>
